yeah, you kinda right on your points and every rage is spot on. but i do believe, this naive luomei finally let her guard down because she think the crown prince deserved a chance, and at the same time, trying to move on from jinghe. and im quite thankful, that she didnt get bitter for the fact that her love didn’t end well and still in support for jinghe and mei lin.

i think she’s kinda naive when it comes to love. and at the same time, she’s quite living in the past; of her childhood times. always trying to fix things between jinghe and crown prince thinking if they can forgive each other for the sake of old time, things will get better. hence, the love comes from pity i think, and the cunning effort of crown prince. i dont like the transition too, it’s kinda stupid of her.. but most of us do stupid things for love. and, she does let her guard down and thinking she made a right decision.
still, i forgave her. she killed the emperor’s eunuch because it’s better to end his pain in her own hands (i dont think she killed him just to silence him). and she send her husband to death, she did it with honor and great principle in her mind as a good general and a wife. and she did redeem herself at the end, bringing in support to save qingzhou.
i think another reason they brought him along is that they can't just leave him alone, in case he gets possessed…
and yet he still ended up alone on that street until he again met with li lun. thank god, he’s in good control of himself despite being so heartbroken by the way how people treat him. i got the reason, yet still on some way it annoyed me. but again, every scenes got it purposes, so i try to understand the reason behind it.
