im not sure if he’s intro or extro, but he clearly didn’t participate much. or mostly because it get edited out. i watched hi6 episodes quite a lot, but this one, the least interesting. and yeah, because the format of the games changed quite often. if it’s 1 to 1 kinda game probably will give more highlight to the guests. but since this one got too many guests, hence it became like this.

plus, this show supposed to promote their drama and showcasing their chemistry to the audiences, definitely didn’t reached much to us. a bit pity to think about it.

hi6 should make a bit research before planning on the games for the guests they invited. neo hou and chen duling specifically seems a bit lost there, not knowing how to participate much. maybe the production team can figure out their mbti(s) and plan what games are suitable for them. these two introvert people don’t know what to do and socialise much. i thought it’s only chen du ling is introvert, but neo hou just the same 😭 i think this one got less of fun compared to the other episodes. however, cheng xiao and tian jiarui truly enjoyed their time.

real. i think yan an is very underrated in this. he was mentioned countless time for his evil character, but we forgot to mentioned how he’s so good acted those moments. cant wait to see him coming out from bai ju’s body, so he can use his own body to fight and slay as usual.

the comedic moments were done right and so funny. i honestly missed that kind of comedic scenes especially in this depressing moments.

yes, i swear because of that dance, it made so me eager to see the bingyi background story and him specifically in action. and yes, yes, yes, anything that involved zyz and wen xiao in the same space, make my heart crazily fluttering. their silly banter is everything to me.

yess, in fact the flashbacks give us a lot of good scenes and the revelation is beautiful. it’s like they’re coming from the place where they used to be this happy and bubbly until it’s all get taken away.

im not yet rewatching any episodes but i can remember all the scenes you mentioned. I hope i can forget them quickly, so that i can rewatch them again once this drama is over.

for real. just because she constantly crying and only shouting names during the danger time, doesn’t mean she’s weak. people often forgot, actor and actress did exactly what they were told to do. and Wen Xiao character established as someone who doesn’t have special power except she’s chosen as baize goddess, and her ability to take care of the wilderness and surpress the malicious energy. saying she’s useless and cannot do something, means that this people didn’t understand her exact role. and her role is far bigger than just crying and shouting, if only this watchers able to open their eyes properly.

we are so normalise having to define strength based on the physical strength. having someone like wen xiao balanced the strength of the group, when everyone else conflicted with their inner demons, loneliness and depression. just like our mothers who didn’t need to go to war to be called stronger, but still they’re the strongest figures in our life. the one that can emotionally support and warm our heart even in our darkest days. that’s what i think wen xiao role in the group. she’s their number one supporter and the one who can truly understand each person in the group.
