I know she try to stall the time, that happened after the crowd getting nearer. but they got so much time to board on the boat, and even duan wu screamed to her to follow her. but guess, they rather fight and explain thing first than be safe. well, it’s one of the thing with drama, it’s always full of drama 😅 i understand, they needed to create this angsty feeling so FL seems a bit more miserable. but still, the what ifs linger alot in my mind.

the story is really complex and it’s not an easy watch. but my only complain is that; they really love to create unnecessary angst. i wonder why the mother didn’t board the boat along with her daughter, when they had so much time to escape it. also, why the ML didn’t ask duan wu directly how come she came to possess the red pearl, or why he claimed it’s him (communication again failed).

so much energy wasting to bully her and threatened her. well, i guess they prefer to take a longer route so the audiences watching with a heartburn, at least for me.

the fact that rating for this drama remains higher despite of its ending. it shows that a good and quality drama didn’t depend on the ending, but overall performances, the stellar casts, the good storylines, the good values it portrayed. and all i can say, for this story, the destination didnt matters, but the journey is.

i watched this drama during its airing last year and still can’t move on from them. missing my liudao hall brothers, our badass ren ruyi, ning ge, our beautiful prince yang ying and our beloved yu shi san. they’re truly my precious characters. the one that i’ll remember for a very long time.

i cant wait for them to arrive at kunlun mountain. there, the FL and ML gonna officially fall in love with each other. i had enough butterflies with their banter, silly jokes and flirty remarks. i needed fire to burn in my stomach LOL.

plus, from the interview, Neo said, it’s where at kunlun where ZYZ for the first time, had the will to live. he wants to live because of wen xiao. for a great demon like him who cant wait to die and eager to end the endless cycle of his life and now find the will and reason to live because of a woman he love, oh that’s gonna be epic angsty. and i gotta savor all good moments while it lasts.

yeah i do hope so. the way she gaze at him and knowing there’s a huge guilt he carry on his shoulder. hopefully they got the closure they needed. and yeah, kang hoon was brilliant in this. he make used his puppy eyes to convey his emotions and i felt it right to my heart.

i dont know how to describe my feelings about this drama. nothing great tbh and everything just fell flat at the end. it’s not like i dislike her getting back with him, but the way the writer write ML character is bit unlikeable and questionable.

there’s so much why and how questions. hence, it kinda make me unsatisfied.

“i invited su hyeon to my graduation ceremony. in another life, i won’t do that. so please, don’t be sick again mom.”

out of so many lines uttered in ep12, this one surpass everything else.

the guilt he carry and there’s no longer hyeri to convince him that’s it’s not his fault 😭

i dont understand people who complain about fl being weak and need protection all the time. are you even watching from the first episode?

if she’s not weak, then the contract between her and zhu yan would be completely useless to be made. it’s zhu yan the one who offered to protect her because she’s still not fully receiveing her baize goddess power. the script written like that. just enjoy the story.

and i rather like her character; though she’s weak. she’s smart and helpful all the time. also, i glad mr gjm didnt make her as a kind of ‘burden’ towards the ml. so far, i love her and she’s perfect for the wen xiao role.

it must be tiring for zyz to always be cautious in every circumstances. everyone left and right got posessed and the sole purpose is to kill him. aiyaa, man only get a rest and breathe peacely when he roasted others.

i watched his acting for the first time here and instantly fall in love. i swear he look so good as a great demon. need to watch him in another costume drama.

you need to continue watching then there’ll be an explanation about it. it’s okay to get confused, just watch the rest, then you’ll understand.

they’re ghost, demons, mortal.. hence probably the makeup effects are different. but i agreed some of them were really too much, like coated with some flour and the difference between the face and the neck were really kind of disturbing. but i guess, they cant be good in all aspect. it happened usually in a lot of costumes drama.

Ai Mi and Li Ziye already excelled in acting department at their age. while me, at that age, still struggling with addmath and snorting lol.

same like the one in a journey to love. the fight scenes also with background of liu yuning’s song. but instead of hip-hop song, it’s like pop-ballad song?! *not sure how to categorise it* sth that lift your spirits to fight eagerly. anyway, i love it too! it’s awesome.

i love how the director make everyone shine in this story, even for the smallest role. the comedic done right, the angsty background story is flawless. the way i cried and mourned for zyz and wen xiao background story. the “then why you didn’t tell me who you were?”
“think of it as getting to know each other again..”
yall, that’s a peak romance and i sobbed hard.

atp, even bai jiu screaming cant make me complain. i love this drama so much, im obsessed!
