i love the way the storyline give it as if it’s easy for the male lead to get everything he wants. he passed the first trial quite easily, but the story explained further of how he managed to do that. it’s quite fair tbh. after all, like the young master xue said.. it’s all about persistence & determination. the way it explained that the icy pool actualy only cold on the surface, once you get till the middle.. it become warmer. it teach us not to fear the challenges we gonna take, it might seem harder in the beginning & make us want to give up. it’s the prejudice that we had when not knowing things better. for me, it’s quite interesting how they show GZY passed this trial for once & all. for YWS to save him during that time, that simply to show the length of how she can sacrifice herself for him. she might do it because that’s part of her mission, but above all.. we know how genuine she is when it comes to GZY.

and oh Jin Fan, i cried knowing his origin. some of you are right guessing him as red jade guardian. that’s mind blowing & explained how powerful GZY is gonna be as a sword wielder. this getting interesting tbh. Jin Fan deserved the world for his loyalty!! i’m boarding my ship with eldest sister now, let’s protect jin fan at all costs!

oh as much as i love sad ending, i had enough crying for both of them in the first part. after all what they’ve been through, second part should amend their relationship & reunited them both. i just want at least, they know that they deserved to be happy. arghh, im so emotional 😭 It’s kinda dramatic hahaha 😂

frr. it hurts my eyes to see SJ & YZ with their smirking face & always belittle ZY. I really can’t wait until he passed all the trials, i freakin’ know he will.. but god when?? and i always questioning why did SJ always eager to be a sword wielder, is it because of pride?? since he always love to be in victory, but really i hate his guts & overflowed confidence. knowing everything he said quite make senses & he’s right with almost everything, makes me hated him even more. gosh, i hate perfect man.

really? that’s bad then. no wonder it didn’t do well. but will try read some reviews in the mdl, if it’s that bad.. then maybe I won’t watch it.

a lot of things happening & it’s just ep 8 so far. of course it is, because we have only 16 episodes left. i love that they started to reveal more about each character’s emotions & intentions. kinda sad watching the eldest sister, seeing her always laughing & lightened up the mood, but deep inside, she scared that her unrequited love towards jin fan find the death end. but I believed, jin fan, sooner or later, will realized what his heart wants too.

also, cried couple of tears for our FL, the way she just wanted to have a peaceful life & a quiet life with her beloved one.. the way she stared at GZY, probably imagine that’s how life supposed to be if she’s not an assasin. arghh, i cried when i saw her cried. but for sure, from now on.. more angst gonna come knocking our door, so let’s brace our heart.

she used to be a maid for gong ziyu’s mother & then later on she become a wife of the gong ziyu’s father — previous sword wielder. second wife to make it simply.

i’m not sure about that. this is the second time i watched him in screen after Remember: The War of Son. but currently, im watching his drama One Dollar Lawyer (trying to get more insight of him as an actor). Yeah, i heard he didn’t do much romance drama because he said he wasn’t good at it, but man, did he scammed us? he’s so good in it. so maybe that’s why he’d been so excited since this is his first romance drama after so long.

so far, im liking YWS character more compared to others (of course not included the eldest sister, she always at the top — above everyone else). anyway, YWS character just so solid; while SGQ seems like having those teary moments, trying to look weak & gain sympathy from the GS (of course it’s the part of her strategies). but YWS always two steps ahead from SGQ. i love that she look simple from the outside as if she’s uncertain on what to do, yet already planned everything ahead. and despite in her mission, i can sense that she try to be opened to him, being honest about herself. damn, Esther Yu really did a good job as YWS. Her fighting scenes with Jin Fan truly amazed me. knowing she practices & filming all these martial arts without stunt-man, triple amazed me.

Yeah, same in other region too. At least they should translated it to English language. From English translation, it can be easily translated to another language. I hope MBC can notice our desperate wishes.

i know right? He’s down so bad for this drama. that’s the whole new promoting.

no, there’s no english subs since it’s officially from mbc youtube itself. they really need to hire some translators out there, i really want to understand what they had been talking about behind the scene. it seems so much fun seeing them interact with each other in the process of making the drama.

NamGoong Min is the biggest fan of this drama. Not to mention he keep sharing the crumbs and even some spoiler in his ig 😂He also shared the rank of tv-ott in which my dearest ranked number one in SK. Arghh, im so happy for them. Their hardwork paid off. I watch the bts of my dearest & see how work hard all of them in filming the drama; with layered of clothes during summer & winter season, with back to back running, filming action scenes; fighting & all.

Truly amazed how each of them working so diligently to produce this masterpiece. Congrats team My Dearest! Proud of you guys 👏🏻

i’m in a team of happy ending. they’ll be happy at the end; Gil Chae & Jang Hyun, either they live happily or die happily together.. there’s no in between. i’m sure it’s gonna be a happy ending.

at least it’s just less than a month we need to wait for a second part. other drama usually will cost you entire year or even years to come up with a second season/part especially Chinese drama. so, im grateful that the wait wont be too long for my dearest.

can you explain by “the main FL here who just doesn’t get it?”

i enjoyed watching both the red sleeve & my dearest. it’s a different drama after all, different circumstances, & which part of gil chae that doesnt show about she’s confident about who she is. and i think, the push-and-pull storyline is part of my dearest arc, after all.. we left with 10 episodes, can we expect them to reunite & be lovey dovey now, then what’s the point of having another 10 episodes? it’s the development of the story, we just need to wait patiently & savour every moments until the end.

Or, if you think it’s a waste of time, then save yourself from trouble by just drop it or skip it. Maybe the drama is not your cup of tea.

Namgoong Min with his micro expressions; the eyes that always brimmed with tears. Ahn Eun-Jin with the emotional depth that she carries. Even her smiles cannot cover her sad eyes & none can bring character Gil Chae alive better than she did. Such a powerful casting, such an excellent story tellers, talented actor & actress. I hope NGM consider more romance drama in his future acting, of course the one that has a good script. Quality over quantity.

Nevertheless, cant wait to meet you again, my dearest! “let’s meet again in the future” and later on please dont make us sad anymore. chaebal ;)

bawled my eyes watching the last two episodes. i suffered so much because jang hyun & gil chae, they better end the part 2 in happy ending or else i’ll riot & burn mbc to the ground. how come it’s just a love story and they love each other but it hurts like this?? i need to touch some grass and start to live my own life. these fictional characters slowly drive me insane.

oh joke aside, cant wait for the 2nd part. I think gilchae did not married to that officer guy for whatever reason it is. two years passed quick, i wonder what relationship could be between jang hyun and the SFL. October, pls come faster!
