me watching this drama in ep 1 until 4: the romance is so cool & addictive. i cant stop smiling, feeling butterfly in my stomach, kicking air seeing gil chae & jang hyun’s interaction. highly recommended historical drama to watch, folks!

me in ep 5-6: please stop this freakin’ war. god, it’s so tiring to see jang hyun’s in war & gil chae keep on running to save her life. please end this war so we can see them interact again.

the way i cried along with gil chae as if jang hyun is really died out there. how can a drama can be so beautiful and wrecking me all apart at the same time? 😭

the way gil chae cried painfully & silently once she wake up for her sleep & dream. the way she finally admitted that she wants him to come back 😭 ahn eun jin as gil chae is just so phenomenal, she bring this character to alive. and their kissing scene, is just so beautiful, rip to my replay button. It’s nothing passionate but you know, it’s just so beautiful, you cant help to watch it again and again. now friday please come faster, i need to see them again 😭

the rating slightly increased from 8.5 to 8.6! progress is still a progress, no matter how small it is.

i hope more people will discover this gem & appreciate it like all of us do (obsessed is the right words to described appreciating this masterpiece).

im not yet watching episode 7 & 8 😭😭 cant wait to devour it tonight. jang hyun & lady gil chae please wait for me! (been busy with works & watching badminton tournament), plus im waiting for both episodes to release & subbed, so i can watch them in peace. truly cant wait for the story to unravel.

finally, done watching s1. what a perfect drama, i could say. 10/10, i cant give lower than this because i just love this drama soo much, it’s perfect for me. though it seems tushan jing can’t be that person who was all perfect, i still think this drama give justice to all the characters including him. if he’s too perfect, then Xiang Liu character would be pointless. if he’s too perfect, then XC will end up killing him on first episode lol 😂😂 (that’s only me trying to justify why jing did what he did in this s1). oh, the moment i saw XC ascend the throne, i know.. it’s the beginning of lost you forever 🥺

i honestly cant wait for s2 & hope it wont take longer time to release. cant wait for things to unravel in s2, for more drama & heartbreaking story from all of them. i’ve watched quite of numbers xianxia & wuxia, this instantly become my favourite of the year, even pushing tteotm as second, while tteotm was more about sacrifing between the main couple, this one.. just a bit different compared to the others, it’s unique on its own, the story & the complexity of each characters. it’s something rare to see from xianxia trope. plus, stellar performance from all cast members, beautiful written story by the writer, good production team, perfect OSTs, these all make lost you forever become a good drama to enjoy. for those who still hesitated to watch, well i’ve given you enough reason to do so.

hope to see s2 asap! looking forward for that :)

how can this drama can be a heart wrenching story yet so freakin’ beautiful in all senses? the romance/interactions between the main leads is just something i keep anticipating because god it’s so addictive!
