Is this a lucky day or what! scroll down the upcoming shows page has a lot of Japan dramas added. All are interesting too (i've opened many tabs) compared to last month's. They just come in a bunch like that and get interesting now near mid of the year .
Japan and S.korea remake each other's dramas: a couple a year. Recently a few jdramas are remakes: sorry i luv u , u r beautiful (old one, that one is not as good as the S.k counterpart), etc. The poster here, i'm ok with it, but it is at first glance very excessive or over the top (holding walkie talkie). As someone who've just seen Signal, the kdrama is very stylish. Maybe i'm opinionated about the poster. I've always watched jdramas the most. Most of them have the same style of posters (showy). That style is just liked by a lot people I guess. I'm not a compare watcher or expect much from remakes ( I dislike those ppl) so if i watch this jdrama, I will be open minded of its content. I'm only into a quarter of this kdrama (good beginning) but it already disinterests me with its middle plotlines so I can just drop it and watch the jdrama when it airs. Jdrama will be concise and 10eps at most instead of long kdrama.
Seriously I like this kdrama but so many coincidences in the man's life that it's unrealistic and then the middle plot-lines added in his neighbourhood "bro" completely disinterests me. I was hooked too! I had been hooked* too! . . . so I already have a few problems with the original.
A particular acting style from a lot of kdramas that I dislike is a lot of shouting from supporting roles. Here, it's the coworker/officer ajusshi. These types also intimidate and disapprove of their younger colleagues but they are nice supporting roles and not antagonistic. Maybe that is just a thing that reflects society.
The first episode wasn't that wow, but the 2nd EP was not bad. I keep thinking is MC that brilliant or he's just…
it's very good you should give it a try. I haven't finished it. I put it on hold coz I can't ever get over the old guy narrator's voice. It shocks me every time and leaves a bad taste.
I've jumped genre now. lol i'm into crime now. I suggest a few dramas for you: 1. Med Examiner Dr Qin 2. Day and Night 3. Tientsin Mystic
I had just finished watching (1) & (3) and I wholeheartedly recommend you to watch them. I luv em that much. Now, i'm planning to see (2) Day and Night, and another one "Burning Ice".
this is so good. It has some things i don't like that I will nitpick and won't let it go and criticise to its core (Like the American horror flick's way of 5 mins being frozen instead of right away running away from scary beings) but there are many things i love, but a gem is a gem. Will rate it after my 2nd watch. I need to finish my double watch soon.
hi, did u download from the last link, dostforu.blogspot? is it safe?
thank 4 ur reply. thanks to ggtranslate I can understand the website but I already torrent it else where. Are u gonna review this show? and what do u think about the low rating those two reviewers gave the show? Around 7 is average but it is low for this one IMO
Dean Fujioka is the one who sings and writes for {Born to Make History} Yuri On Ice ! He's a handsome guy…
wow I actually don't know that part coz I don't watch yuri on ice, but I've always thought he has a very voice-actor-ish voice (like he can be a seiyu).
I know he can speak mandarin and know him from Taiwan dramas actually. He has an indonesian wife and he's active in south east Asia magazines. but From 2015 he is on a roll with his dramas now. He films a lot more than before by just seeing his filmography. A few 2016 dramas got really popular which propelled him too. Heard he's on some english speaking netflix show too. He's a well rounded and impressive guy. like him a lot
thru out the first 5 EPs of this I keep watching their gloves. I'm not OCD. I don't wanna fuss and not a matter of hygiene but if they touch corpses with their gloves, and then. . . it's gross. She even threw her gloves at Lin Tao's body (5th EP). She almost touched her mouth when she was shocked with her hands- the gloves. Gloves> Camera> Corpse > Camera.
Again, im not rushin' u guys but if the subs team happen to see this, pls be faster with the subs. I'm dyin' here. I am really thankful no matter what. :3
I have a mixed feeling about it. having seen 7 eps, I got tired or it made me tired and I put it on hold. Some elements are interesting like Mei and poisons and tribes behaviour; but some (royal conflicts) are tropes.
