I thought the scares were more effective when used sparingly. The cgi wasn't good so when the girl was in full shot (and the stuff at the end too) it just made me find faults in how poorly she looked and moved.

i skipped through most of it and it was okay. honestly what a drag tho. the first time i watched this years ago i couldn't even get passed ep 2 because it was so boring. i get the commentary about the people around you making you insane. but then it just sounds so stupid to stay around and let it happen to the point you actually become a killer. sounds like you already got a few screws loose to get pushed to that point. so it's super unrelatable to watch and im left not feeling any sympathy for how it went down. overall, just meh.

adachi's development was great. adachi of the drama would be so shooketh by this adachi's forwardness with the relationship.

the main got sent away. his lackies who were also bullying stayed and became comedy trio with the bully victim.

im still watching this but just wanna comment on the fact that the bully victim became a side comedy relief with his bullies really wasn't the path i expected. that was a let down.

after watching the other show and watching their joint interview from s1 and s2, and seeing a bunch of funny shorts on yt, ("dad you're cheating at 18?" "You're supposed to be in love with yoon chung ah!" "WHO'S YOON CHUNG AH" lolol) i came into this without much thought. just wanted to see the dynamic and what all those shorts were all about.

surprisingly pleasant watch. i enjoyed it. some tears were shed. maybe it's because i was watching at 3am and was emotional lol.

it's okay. feels like our weak hero didn't get to do much action. sure that's his goal or whatever, but yeah, the webtoon counterpart got plenty of action so, just thought the live action one would too.

i liked it better when the tone was more serious in the beginning with slight sprinkles of comedy. the change for full on comedy relief kind of ruined it.

the scene cutting in this was horrendous. there was just too much going on and they're trying to fit it all together, making it sloppy splices of scenes.

the plot itself was all over the place. the 'bad guy' of the week got boring real quick. not to mention the side track comedy relief that adds nothing to the story progression.

hyori is sorta the main drive for a lot of this but i found her character boring as hell. she's just there, barely talks, emotes, or does anything. she's not even likable, idk why everyone is breaking their back for her.

This show was so slow. There's just so much unimportant filler scenes? Idk how to describe it but was it necessary to show every cut of every scene of this girl/dudes sneaking around? And they talk a lot but tend to say nothing note worthy? It just felt like this wasn't meant to be 1 hr+ episodes and they literally had to drag out scenes to fit the quota. Because why do we need a full 5-10 minutes of unnamed extras getting their balls crushed by this creature? To show this creature can indeed......kill?? Isn't that already obvious? I was honestly bored. Maybe this style of storytelling/directing isn't my cup of tea. I like it when majority of words/actions carry meaning or significance for something else. The cgi is decent. Won't be watching season 2 🙏

Liked this a lil bit more compared to s1 because the games are more integrated into the plot.

was okay. i expected more fun games sprinkled throughout the show but you get most of them in the first 4 episodes, then the rest is more plot focused. not saying having more plot is a bad thing but i wish it was more balanced. it started with a boom with these stakes, which hooked me, then it cooled off with plot driven narrative and it was slightly too cool for my expectations. overall still a good watch though.

like. it's just power struggle power struggle. resurrection. power struggle. everyone gets a decree. end. contd. i dont even know if there was much substance lol. i was skipping even the action scenes because at that point i dont care about the fights, i wanna know wtf y'all are yapping about for 6 episodes and why it didnt explain anything. this was a whole set up for s3 and it shows.

honestly i was bored by ep3. so i skipped ep4&5 to skim on ep6. and felt like i didn't really miss anything.

This was my childhood. Was introduced to Golf Mike via my sister's friend. The memories of going into CD stores to collect their albums and concert recordings. And then finally having access to internet to then research and enjoy them on youtube like a madman. Complete bliss.

The show itself is very basic. The coincidences that happen in this show would have you winning lotteries left and right. The acting is mediocre, sometimes cringey. Nothing happens while everything happens. I find myself in disbelief at times with the amount of plot contrivances. But still, this was my childhood and I have fond memories. This recent rewatch makes me happy.

I recall watching the second season once when it came out and never really looked back because imo, it doesn't add much to the overall story. I say if you just watched this season and stopped, you wouldn't miss anything important. The second season is mostly stress and filler lol.

(Before anyone asks me where I watched it subbed, let me clarify I understand Thai so I watched it unsubbed. Tried looking for 'official' listings but this show isn't that well known plus it's an old series, so I doubt there are officials out there with subs. I watched unsubbed on yt. Just copy and paste the title in Thai and search. The 2019 version will pop up first so just scroll and sort through for the 2008.)

due to the show implementing similar fighting techniques/sequences in the webtoon, i thought THIS was the main story, only to realize very late this was the backstory 😭😭😭

if this is how they expanded on the backstory from the webtoon which was like only a couple chapters long, how the heck are they gonna fit the main story (250+ chapters) into 8 episodes for s2 😭

s3, s4 and s5, maybe? idk. i just dont wanna see anything too fast paced or too many things cut out.

let me preface by saying im not fully watching it, just in and out of certain episodes, so i was wondering if she was playing them both?? i noticed she kept being flirty with the younger bro while also pursuing the older brother?

was alright. the horror aspect of it was the lowest.
