The part the made me lift an eyebrow was when you chose to explain it by saying religion differences is what caused people's unawareness, which imo is just a convenient excuse. In a way, it takes away someone's responsibility to stay aware and puts it on their religion. My stance since the beginning was always regardless of religion, you should know general info. Reincarnation is general information. It may not be your religion's general information, but it is someone else's religion general information, and letting your religion limit your knowledge on other religion's general information is ignorance.

I don't let my religious beliefs dictate how I communicate and engage with others, so I'm not worried if Christians or Buddhists find my comment mean. Anyway, my point was, it's just a matter of fact that to not know what reincarnation is is ignorance. And lots of people are ignorant in different topics, so it's not really an insult to say one is ignorant on something. It's a learning process. I'm ignorant on a lot of things too that is not common knowledge, so I'm just questioning why in this day and age, to be ignorant about reincarnation, a concept that is pretty common knowledge, especially given the factors I already mentioned in my previous comment. If anyone finds offense in this stance then please utilize google and un-ignorance yourself, that's really it. There's no hate from me at all 🙌

Edit: I was curious about the person who asked the question and you answered so I looked further down and saw the question/person you might be referring to who's "confused about reincarnation". If it is the comment posted by *just a gay boy*, then they weren't confused by reincarnation itself. I also replied to them. They know what reincarnation is. They were only confused about the context of the story making it confusing whether his soul had been reborn (reincarnation) or if he'd been immortal the whole time. That's vastly different from someone unaware what reincarnation is.

From my understanding of the whole situation now, it seems you gave your own interpretation about their confusion, pointing to different religious upbringing being the culprit to why someone may not know what reincarnation is, when I think you may have just misinterpreted their comment entirely.

i think having the same actor/actress play a past role is a pretty common occurrence in thai dramas and/or asian dramas, in general. so if you watch a lot of asian dramas, reincarnation isn't really a foreign concept, even if it's not your own religion. and just in general, reincarnation is a very basic concept. you'd have to be living under a rock to not know what reincarnation is. no offense, but it's 2025, how do you not know what reincarnation is, you know? 🤔 it's not really a niche hidden secret concept. it's like saying people may not know who jesus christ is because they weren't raised christians lol.

right i was watching interviews and almost everyone encountered something, whether through sight, hearing, smell, or sense. but i think most horror related films have had encounters so this is probably the norm lol. i remember a Nang Nak interview a long time ago where the main actress revealed that she felt a presence the entire time while playing the role of Nak.

i mean it's still on-going and relatively early into the series so idk if you wanna wait on cliffhangers every week until it completes, but if you dont mind, then yes, pls watch this.

so far, i think the acting is fine. nothing to complain about. the chemistry is pretty good too, although i think rn the story is focusing on plot and background of stuff, more so than building relationships. i think going further we will see more of those developments.

this is just an educated guess based on the context of the story. (im not spoiling or anything since i dunno the novel). looks like he's reincarnated. but because he's involved with white magic, he has the ability to access his own past.

okay but khem waking up delirious calling pharan "jao phee" makes me giddy. like its formal but also intimate.

i mean there are jumpscares but i dont think they're that scary.

i just finished ep 33, all the bad guys are taken care of, now there's 3 episodes left and i already know who's gonna be the main problem going forward.

sigh. im so tired of this mf guy. it's not like the main leads were confused about their feelings and he's been there all along causing friction between their relationship. they couldn't care less about his presence and now they're literally already in love and basically dating when this guy decides, oh, let me interject my PATHETIC self in between them. i cannot comprehend this script decision. he could have been written off as the sml who knows his place and let the leads love in peace. That i could have at least respect him for, but no, stupid delusional drama. Is it worth it to continue? Should I just stop watching now? lol.

i enjoyed this show the first time around, (probably due to being blinded by James since i was on a James watch marathon) but upon rewatches, i found this show so.....pathetic. Rin was raised as a servant all throughout her life, even if she did get education and special treatment, she was still a servant within the household. the daughters also treat her like a servant, even though they claim she's their sister. when the adoptive mom and family was like "we sent our daughter who's most suitable" they were pulling bs out of their ass. the adoptive mom knew what she was doing. she didn't want to send her biological daughters so she made the servant pretend to be a daughter and sent her as the sacrificial lamb.

as for Saran, he was such an ass. going back and forth between Rin and Duang. She dumped him for money and apparently that wasn't a wakeup call yet. he's right to be pissed they sent a servant, but that's really it. Playing with her emotions and continuing to let Duang harass her is beyond pathetic.

Rin was the one with the worst luck in all of this. Got stuck paying back the family that raised her as a servant, then stuck with a man who keeps dipping his feet back and forth. she finally gets lucky when she turns out to be the lost daughter of a rich family, but now that she's already in love, is stuck babysitting the man-child Saran with an inferiority complex about being broke.

Rin was always a good wife, a good daughter, a good sister, but they all used her. She really should have just left them behind after finding her true family.

I havent watched the new episodes yet but i saw a clip of cz losing his goddamn mind after hy and xj confirm their love and im just laughing because my guy, did you NOT know this whole time you were the third wheel?? Did he not witness multiple times the vibe surrounding hy and xj, how theyre always in their own world and he is just watching by the sidelines? Talk about no self awareness. I thought this guy was smart 😂😂

i think when you compare characters from different shows to justify why a character shouldn't be disliked as much, you're sort of preventing the character to be their own character.

shouldn't a character be judged based on his actions within his own show? why should a random character from a different show be the determining factor on why cz is annoying? i think comparing and contrasting shows to display the similarities or differences is fine, but it shouldn't be used as a tool to make certain behaviors/actions justifiable by default. just because a character from a different show is worse, that makes cz's character better, by default?

if for instance i said a character from a different show is much better than xj, does that mean xj is a bad male lead by default? that he needs to do better, to get to the same level as the random character? no, xj is his own character and likeliness depends on his behaviors/actions within the show.
