i saw a video in passing namping and keng mentioning something about ep8 is gonna be full of good stuff (alluding to spicy stuff), so hopefully the 1hr43mins contains some of those good stuffs :V

just the beginning bit that caught my eye. like 15:39 or 17:11.

both couple's cute in their own way. and depends on what you're looking for in a relationship, you'll like that one more. i prefer quiet yearning, so i'd still pick pharan and khem's development over jet and charn (even though pharan does piss me off most the time lol). i've seen people say they like jet and charns open honesty, so they'll probably like jetcharn more in that aspect.

so i know pong's character is supposed to be playful and carefree and he just says and does whatever he wants but the asian in me is like, isn't this dude younger than pharan, plus they aren't even that close, plus pharan is a master, he's got some title and status of required respect, why's pong acting so disrespectful? but then my logical side is like, pharan has been mad mean to khem, maybe this is his deserved karma 😂😂

Either wrong translations or someone memed you. Pharan does not have feelings for Jet.

I thought that "you'll get sunburned" comment was a warning for Pong because he took his shirt off, but then I saw some people say it was a concern for khem to be careful since he's in the sun so much, so which is it? 🤔🔍

Okay, now that I've calmed down a bit, let me reorganize my thoughts about this ep.

Honestly, since ep6, I thought CharnJet would develop more slowly but it's like, whiplash. In ep6 we just explored more about them and seeing their relationship start to bloom, Charn is just starting to connect the dots and Jet is being more friendly with Charn, and then this ep they're already pollinating their flowers. A bit fast, imo. But of course, won't disregard their efforts in the making of the scenes. They're cute af and I still like them. This is definitely an issue with directing and script.

In terms of PharanKhem, I think this ep showed more of Pharan's inner jealousy. I like it. It's quiet but it's loud. Especially in the beginning when the camera angles show where his line of sight is while he's occupied with Prim. Like I need more of that. And less of this covert mean rudeness. You can pretend to be disinterested without barking so much, chill. You'll get further in life (and in those pants) by being a little nicer, trust.

Once again, I really like the shots in this series so far. The scenery is beautiful and I find myself really mesmerized by some scenes. Although I do feel sometimes the production value doesn't match the quality of the story. The way things are shot sometimes feel more grander than what we've seen in story telling. My sister thought the same when I recommended her to watch this. 1st ep she told me "wow, I didn't expect a BL to look like this. It's surprising." At this point of the story, it is what it is so I'm just gonna be here for the rest of the show.

Anyway, back to the ep, I honestly don't think they're gonna kiss. I mean. I hope they do, but I just have suspicions Pharan's gonna grab the food or smth and then it's all, sike! And then they're gonna hear some weird sounds coming from above them, and theyre gonna awkwardly look around, and then back to square one. Idk. Prove me wrong but I'm not having high hopes 😅

Generally ghosts are bound to a certain area. For instance the snake lord guy from the previous episode. He would be bound to the forest as the protector. You wouldn't find him roaming bangkok eating papaya salad in the bustling night market. Also the holy spirits in this episode too, theyre bound to the land. If they are a karma ghost, even more so bound to the person. Also...why would a ghost go travel the world? like a ghost on vacation? Lol. No offense, just the thought is kinda funny to me 😂. Anyway, also generally any body can use magic if they know the spells. Like khem using that love spell from the paper. Also like when you see regular people pray and chant to deter ghosts, that's technically a "spell" too, so this "magic" thing isn't exactly exclusive unless you wanna learn the more powerful and complex ones.

Of course there are proper techniques to learn, like through a mentor and disciple, but some people dont follow rules, they are troublemaker like the guy in this episode using black magic. Dunno if he has a master who tought him but he could have stolen a spell book? Who knows.

I do agree they should build this aspect of it more for people who are unfamiliar. But i guess it's such a common thing in thailand it just went unnoticed. Unlike Harry Potter where they have exclusivity, magic in thailand is sort of a "anybody can but most people dont" because look at pharan. Need to be relationship less, have a duty to the people. Who wants to learn complex techniques to be this? Think of monks and nuns. Anyone can be a monk or a nun, but not everyone wants to be a monk or a nun. The title comes with disadvantages if fully committed.

Also there's the aspect of knowing too much. When you get involved with magic, youre gonna see stuff normal people dont, so why bother? The less you know, the better you live. Most ghosts arent bothering people, but if you invite them, they will come. Thats why thai people have the belief "dont believe but don't disrespect". Like the classmates who got taken. They didnt believe but they disrespected the land and the system.

The way firstone and tle's lips were already red af before the makeout session i already knew im gonna be pausing a whole lot just to catch my breath. Theyre crazy 🤪 i wonder how many takes it took for the final product lol hopefully they drank lots of water, they look dehydrated from eating each other.

Okay so im gonna have a major problem with this episode because now that my eyes have been fed delicious food and IF THIS IS NOT THE SAME CASE FOR OUR MAIN COUPLE THEN IM GONNA RIOT BECAUSE WYD MEAN CHARN AND JET ATE, ROLLED AROUND, AND RODE THEIR HORSES AND THEY'RE THE SECOND, SIDE COUPLE. IF PHARAN AND KHEM DONT RIDE THEIR HORSES TOO WITH THIS MUCH PASSION IM GONNA LOSE IT. IDC HOW THEY'RE GONNA GET THERE BUT THEY BETTER GET THERE 😤

so i just started ep7. and guess what, im a hoe. i am not loyal to any ship. i ship whoever looks good, together and prim and pharan look good together. esp with that cute backstory? im sold. pharankhem better step up before i jump completely off ship 💅

i say it is worth it. but if you dont wanna wait every week for 1 episode, i say save it to binge watch later. you should expect a little horror, a little comedy, a little romance, and curiosity about the characters and their past. chemistry for main is okay. second couple chemistry is very good.

not quite traditional but it's a mixture. like the wrapped cloth and draping can be found in traditional but the fabric is too casual. it looks like it's just a stylistic choice for the show, not really trying to be traditional or cultural.

by romance do you mean in a relationship? if so, then they're not in a relationship yet. but there is obvious signs of interest. it started loud in ep5, ep6 was sorta wishy washy. then ep7 is gonna continue more of their development, i believe.

I'm not trying to justify anything, I'm asking you to not put words in KengNamping's mouth. The way you wrote this as if Keng and Namping themselves call international fans dumb, is what I'm telling you to not do. You're basically implicating Keng and Namping and the team in something they never said or intend.

I saw that interview. to me, it sounds like they're focusing on thai viewers, and not even mentioning international fans, probably because they understand if even thai people cannot get this style of story telling, then international fans are out of the question to even worry about. not sure how you interpretated this as them overestimating international fans intelligence. you're putting words into their mouths saying "those are Knp own words" and can cause misunderstandings from people who did not watch the interview or understand the words they're saying.

For public record, KengNamping did not say any thing to slight international fans. They were simply expressing worries about viewers (particularly thai) reception of the show.

yeah he's not obligated to help, but he's not obligated to be rude either. he's capable of talking normal and behaving normal with everyone except khem. that's the problem. it's that he drew a line but keeps stepping over it, then get pissed off when khem responds. khem falling for a rando shaman he just met is already another conversation, but we can't say pharan is blameless here. the hate for his clown behavior is justified.

amen. it's a popular trope in bl. the woman who happens to like the guy gets treated like complete trash. and she's usually written as trash too, to justify people's anger toward her. many bl fans show support for the main couple by completely ripping the girl apart. i hope Prima isn't written to be like that. it looks like she genuinely has no clue. because since when has pharan willingly and explicitly shown affection toward khem. he's stone cold and harsh most the time. unless you got ghost boys whispering in your ear about the bts or a nosy jet letting you in on the gossip, it's not an obvious thing to see.
