I was thinking this too. Technically reincarnation isn't tied to bloodline. Your soul can be reborn to anyone. But if the curse is specifically bloodline, then we can assume the reincarnation in this story works specifically within family and Khem and mom are reborn in the same bloodline every time because someone is always giving birth to the next generation. Since Khem is the last of his generation without other siblings to continue the bloodline nor he himself will produce a child, once he dies, he will be the last of his bloodline and this the curse on his bloodline will complete.

I just think he "played along" (not by will of course, by force) with the marriage enough to give her hope that it could go somewhere eventually. She wants the marriage after all, it's not on her to ask him for his feelings, it's on him to let her know with 100% certainty how he feels.

Are all domundi shows really that bad? I keep seeing people say they didn't expect this from DMD lol. I personally don't watch shows based on company brand, I just watch whatever has interesting plot. The last DMD series I watched was Cutie Pie. It was pretty bad ngl, but I didn't think it was because of the company, rather I just didn't enjoy the plot very much.

I agree. I think his acting is good overall, but there is something lacking. But that's just the thing, not everyone starts out already as pros and it's the openness to improve and grow that makes someone a good actor. Namping irl is very attractive and cute, he's well spoken and smart. Hoping for more good opportunities for him in the future.

Old Karaket and Dang's past resolution was predictable but it was still nice to see. Klin was becoming old Karaket, evil and manipulative, but when she nearly drowned again and Phuttan saved her and apologized for what happened, she finally realized how awful she has become and finally changes herself. And thus starts their new friendship. At one point this was the only interesting thing about the later episodes.

Anyway, my mouth is itching to dis Rid 🦟

Rid has zero backbone and at some point I'm wondering why Puttan is entertaining this fool. He said some bs about letting destiny decide his fate with Puttan and then he let her get taken all the way to the royal palace to be the King's concubine and she ended up being the one to tell the King herself she's not interested and that she already has a lover. The King then goes off on Rid for not even muttering a damn thing up until that point, that he wouldn't have wanted Phuttan if he knew Rid and her were lovers. Rid is beyond worthy of Puttan's time. What exactly did he even contribute to the relationship aside from empty words and promises.

Unlike Dech who reached out and stood firm on his feelings for Karaket (Ketsurang) and unwilling to let her go, Rid sat and watched his lover nearly become someone else's and had himself a pity party. Like DO SOMETHING for God's sakes! Phuttan risked her life confessing to the King, what are YOU willing to risk Rid???!

Everytime Phuttan asks him about their relationship and his arranged marriage status, he just goes on about not being able to do anything about it, but still promises and insists he loves her. Sure I believe he loves her, he loves her so much he would marry someone else and let her be a concubine 🙄. Rid really was too passive and I ended up wanting Phuttan to go back to the future. Not worth the risk to stay with a man who won't stand with you!

Anyway, that's that.

Finally finished this. I guess it was okay? Definitely not comparable to s1. I can confidently say just watch s1 and maybe the movie, and probably skip this show. Sure it adds background or whatever as to why and how the souls could possibly travel back in time and meet etc, but that background itself is very contrived I don't think it even matters in the grand scheme or is even worth it to sit through 26 episodes. Let's just say s1 pretty much covers the minimum to enjoy the show and s2 is just supplement you could do without.

The good thing is at least the acting is still on point. I love Bella's acting and I love Phuttan. She's very independent and strong headed. She is a better version of old Karaket. And she is relatable, to me at least. I personally wouldn't let others walk all over me too and you bet my hands are flying the moment you want to mess around with me.

Rid feels more like a support character than a main character. He's just very passive and exists to stand there. I'll go more into detail under spoilers.

S2 there's a lot of drag everywhere and conversations go on longer than they should. One of the most commonly used dialogue exchange this show likes to use is the example below.

Person 1: "I have this important thing to say."
Person 2: "Yes, what do you have to say?"
Person 1: "What I wanted to say was this."
Person 2: "This? This what?"
Person 1: "This thing is that..."
Person 2: "Yes, go on..."
Person 1: "I wanted to say that.."
Person 2: "Please say it, I want to hear."
Person 1: "It is very important, I want you to hear it."
Person 2: "Well, of course I am listening."

They would go on like this trying to get to the point. I skipped quite a bit because dialogue exchanges weren't really getting anywhere. And half of those exchanges were them trying to decipher modern terms not used in the old times. It got very repetitive and unnecessary. I would skip immediately knowing they were gonna pull another one of those lol.

Overall, I went into this with low expectations and those low expectations just barely met. I completed this just to say finally, I completed the Love Destiny journey! I'll probably rewatch s1 sometime again in the future lol. I love s1 a lot.

i hope she can redeem herself. i really did like her character in the beginning, wouldn't want to hate her character in the end.

edit; oh shit i forgot there's only 12 episodes. i thought it was gonna be longer so she has time to change, but with just 12 eps, i doubt she will redeem herself now. surprise me, but girl, if i wanna strangle kamfa whenever i see him, then now you're next.

To me, Pin has officially joined team Kamfa in this episode. Before this I was still on the fence about her character. I do feel bad for her, I do see her pov and how hurt she can be, but that was because Saenkaew really did keep his feelings vague and never verbally expressed his feelings toward her. Her insistence on loving him can then be seen as her not knowing and he can take part blame. But now that he has told her and she does know, and she still insists on keeping him on a chain, she then becomes the sole problem.

i know the grams has no clue about what's been going on with saenkaew, sasin, and pin, but lady, she's blind af, telling her grandson he's gonna be the happiest during his wedding, then saenkaew just starts crying immediately. that should be a sign that your grandson is NOT happy.

im on beginning of ep19 and am i supposed to feel bad for this bitch Klin? every time she cries the sad song comes on like im supposed to care about her? my god. i know her backstory is Dang who drowned but i really dont see how im supposed to sympathize with this Karaket 2.0. like this bitch was a victim in her past life, but she sure as hell is not one in this life. if she was mean ONLY to Puttarn but still nice to everyone else, then I could sympathize with her, because then i can see she is still kindhearted but just that her deep resentment lays on the person who harmed her, but now she's just another evil Karaket, misbehaving and throwing stupid tantrums at any and everyone. she is no different than old Karaket and I don't feel bad for her at all!

maybe nobody brought it up because the kids who went there to camp and not disrespect the land and cultures went back home just fine. just cuz some were outright rude and got their comeuppance doesn't mean it's khem's fault. stay within your lane in unknown land and you would've been fine.

Translation issue. So far he's only called him Phi, I think. But translation made it into Peem. Edit: and even if he did call him P'Peem, they'd probably still just use Peem, as I've noticed that official Thai-Eng translations such as honorifics isn't really easy or common to do.

Khem does use honorifics. He calls Master 'phi' but it got translated to Peem, because Peem is the nickname for Pharan. Note that Khem itself is the nickname for Khem's full name, Khemjira. Same as Jet for Jettana. And Charn for Charnwit.

I've rewatched season 1 countless times because I genuinely enjoyed the development between the characters relationship. Although I don't believe s1 was perfect, but it was an honest story telling with heart. However s2 just feels like riding the backs of the success of s1. I've just started this season and everything feels off. Like they're copying s1 and this season has zero identity. The constant jokes is also a lot worse compared to s1. S1 comedy feels timely and still adds humor, but this season is just slap stick.

Pope plays 3 characters while Bella plays 2 (3? If you count original Karaket ghost appearing). I just think that's too many of the same faces for one show. Their family dinner is just a bunch of angle shots because pope is 2 of the other characters 💀. They really should have hired new actors/actresses with similar facial builds for the new ML & FL (this will also support the youthful part of the difference in generation. looking exactly like your dad without a mustache is not exactly the best characterization.) I'll continue watching just because I wanna know the reason 'why' this is happening but I really have no hope this will be good. Maybe i'll be surprised but low expectations for sure.

Definitely, they still have their own karma to pay, but point is, Rampheung shouldn't be the one enforcing it by becoming an evil spirit attached to a curse. By doing so, she will only add more negative bad karma onto herself.

although i do believe rampheung is justified, i think she is only justified for the generation of people who actually did her wrong. all other reincarnations have no memory nor carry the same thought processes. she is condemning innocent people to a fate they had no actual involvement in. im not sure how the series is gonna go about it but just based on thai belief system, rampheung now will probably serve a worse time than the first wife, the husband, and khem and the mom. maybe she doesn't mind as long as she gets them all, but in the long run, she will suffer more than them all.
