After knowing Ramphueng's story, I struggled with which side to take, but it has always leaned slightly toward…
But the thing is, what would Khem apologize for? For being born as the reincarnation of the little girl who lied? Khem is the same soul, but he is also his own person in the current timeline and he never actually harmed Rampheung himself. He has no reason to apologize to someone who terrorized him simply because he was born.
Two of the best series this year just ended this week (this and Love in the Moonlight). Now I am feeling void…
Love in the moonlight gave me stress, khemjira was my medicine. I don't tend to watch shows simply because of actors unless i enjoy their chemistry, so because i did enjoy both stories chemistry, i am looking forward to more shows from these actors.
Pearl and Peak insinuated we'll see them together for a while longer (basically fixed pair) so I'm hopeful we'll see them again in another BL.
i liked the translated version better....i don't understand this tendency to impose the feminine gender in bls....they…
I agree. If the original dialogue was that of the translations, it would have been so much better. International fans have a different viewing experience to native watchers since translations tend to mask or take short cuts to what the original dialogues say.
Really pisses me off that I pay for iqiyi, but they want even more money to watch episodes 2 and up. It's the…
I thought iqiyi only has free tier (some shows eps are free but watch with ads) and then 2 vip options, standard and premium (for non-free shows eps, like Khemjira ep2+). If you're paying for vip standard, you should have access to the show?
I still don't get what everyone sees in this. I fast fowarded the finale episode minus a couple of scenes like…
And you don't have to get it, that's the beauty of having ✨personal preferences✨
You will never see what others see in this, because you can only see what you choose to see in this. There have been multiple comments explaining what they see in this show, have you read them? If you have and still don't understand, then that is case in point.
Rampheung doesn't scare me. I can watch her terrorize people all day. But a horny Pharan? That's scary 🫣 I purposely filled my day with errands so I can pace myself watching this episode, and finally, I'm at THE scene and I am scared. I don't know where to look 😭
not Pharan sinning in front of Monk Pinyo, Khem's dad's salad! Imagine coming to see your dear son who survived his 21st birthday, only to witness the Shaman getting all handsy and up in your son's face, sweet talking about something 😭
I also felt like that. Khemjira is turning 21 and Pharan is 28, so calling phi is more accurate. But subtitles…
Yeah phi/nong is hard to translate in english because english doesnt really have those kinds of honorifics when addressing someone. Plus the main confusion with phi/nong is people think they're actually related as blood siblings, rather than it being just a honorific, which is why they dont translate it. Ive seen similar issues with mandarin translations in Wuxia/xinxia shows when they use Dàgē/Xiongdì to address each other in the same clans and i always see people ask "are they actually brothers?" lol
i feel like for those who dont understand why kamfa is just suddenly accepting the relationship. if you review everything from beginning to end, kamfa has always insisted he did what he did to "protect" his son from the scrutiny of society. his methods were dirty and downright unforgivable, but his intentions were that of love. he never actually hated Saenkaew. he just feared for his son's ability to survive in such a cruel world, which ironically, by "protecting" him in such a way, he's also contributing to the cruel society. also not to mention his sense of loyalty to reputation and money and linage clouding his vision on what is right and wrong.
when it all came crumbling down and with the help of grams, and loss of his son, he finally opened his eyes to the fact that no matter what, his "protection" is not needed and that Saenkaew can be happy even without his "protection", it's that much easier to him to simply let go and accept the relationship, as long as he gets his son back. it's an easy ending for Kamfa despite what he put them all through, but that outcome is obviously what is best for everyone too.
As for Pin, I've never hated Pin as a character, I was just annoyed and frustrated with her actions, but I was always hopeful she will wake up, and she did, so I am happy for her.
No idea what was said as I'm still waiting for the subs, but grandma has always been fond of Sasin since day one,…
that too and that she just loves her grandson.
summary translations. Saenkaew apologizes to grams and says he promises he wont see Sasin again (cuz he's afraid she will hate him). but grams was like, why make that promise? if you love him, why wouldn't you want to continue seeing him? she asks him if he had kept it all to himself this whole time in pain unable to have support, why didn't he tell her anything sooner so that she could help him out. saenkaew then asks if grams hates him for being gay. she says no, that he's a good kid, he sacrificed so much, why would she hate him? she says don't be afraid, she will be on his side.
PIN SHE CAME THROUGH 😭😭 gotta thank Sanya for being her wake up call 👏👏👏i believe his confession about loving her, but she is not wrong for not returning his feelings, therefore Saenkaew is not wrong either for not returning her feelings really made her realize she has gone too far trying to force a relationship. then add the dad trying to blackmail with the photos, she finally woke up.
just started ep 11. saenkaew you are awful at negotiating 😭😭 life or death situation here brother, you were gonna kill yourself anyway if it went south so you got nothing to lose, and you negotiate life to go back and marry Pin and listen to everything Kamfa says??!? everything y'all did just to go back to square one? you wasted this precious opportunity 😭 should have negotiated for a little bit more freedom idk
