Am i the only one thinking keng will leave namping after khemjira & scheduled fan meets? As he already told,…
I mean they're still friends but it's important to remember they are also coworkers. Whether they continue as a pair or go solo, is up to their own choice for personal growth. Although I will add based on interviews (and it does seem genuine) that Keng and Namping support each other a lot, whether together as Kengnamping, or as individuals, so in the future if they do happen to split up, it will definitely be because both feel it is best for each other.
If y’all had to choose between Khemjira and love in the moonlight
Love in the moonlight. Imo it balances the romance development with the plot, rather than develop them individually and try to tie them together. What I mean is how LITM as they're meeting and falling in love, the plot is also moving forward, such as the problems with family and marriage deal, and the sexuality issue. There's so much more going on than just falling in love. Although Khemjira does explore the culture and other problems related to spirits, I think Khemjira tends to have the issue with that balance of developing the relationship with the plot. Like in the earlier episodes where Ramphueng basically disappears (takes the back seat) and was mainly about teasing Khem about his feelings for Pharan. It was cute but it felt like we lost the plot for a while there. I still remember many people wondering where Rampheung went? lol. I do enjoy Khemjira's quality more though, the cinematography is breathtaking. I've had the urge to draw some scenes and this usually only happens when I really really really like the shots.
I think in the end it depends on what you're looking for in a show. Both shows have qualities that fit better for different preferences. LITM has it's own flaws, but it fits better for my preference compared to Khemjira.
Finally finished this. I guess it was okay? Definitely not comparable to s1. I can confidently say just watch…
I was telling my sister about this season and she mentioned something very eye opening for me. Initially I had thought that Phuttan was essentially dating her nephew, since according to plot, Karaket (Ketsurang) and her are basically sisters. In original Karaket's time, Ketsurang died, while in Ketsurang's time, Karaket died, and they met in the realm of the dead to swap places. Original Karaket then gets "reborn" 25 years later by possessing Phuttan, and then ends up traveling back in time to date Karaket (Ketsurang)'s child, Rid. So, essentially Aunt and nephew, right?
But the thing my sister mentioned is Karaket (Ketsurang) is still old Karaket's body. Sure the soul is now Ketsurang, but the original body is still Karaket's. So my sister pointed out technically old Karaket/Phuttan is dating her physical son. My mind was blown. I thought the Aunt/nephew dynamic was already insane enough, now she hits me with mother/son dynamic.
I read a lot of negative comments about Saenkaew’s father and about Pin, and while I fully understand the public’s…
now this is how critical viewing works! instead of blindly and passively consuming the content, you stop to look at your own biases and analyze the content for its meaning/message. too many people lack this skill these days, it's unfortunate. i definitely agree. Nok, Kamfa's actor, said during an interview that he hopes people go easy on his character, because his character acts on his own version of "love" too. at that time I couldn't possibly understand because all i knew was he wanted to marry his gay son off. but as the show progressed, i can definitely see what he means. i don't like him more/dislike him less knowing this, BUT i do understand the character motivations and pity him too.
btw at 35:15 where it translates Jet calling Ram a witch and she replies she's not a witch, what Jet actually calls Ram is "E'Pa (rude way to address Aunt)", to which Ram replies "Aunt? I'm no relative to someone like you." To which Jet replies "i'm not counting you as relative, im cursing at you"
got to the part where they were at the race track. and pardon? they're gonna "run from rampheung" by driving very fast? so let me get this straight. they're gonna escape from a ghost, a ghost who can morph in and out of places wherever she pleases.... by driving very fast?? lol
I tried rewatching this again recently and it didn't age well. I thought it was decent a few years back but with a more seasoned palette, rewatching this again I realized I don't understand Muey at all. That's not a good sign if the whole point of the story is to root for the couple.
But as I'm watching, instead of rooting for them, I'm wondering how can you love such a guy so deeply? Scratching my head. He's rude, uninterested, and constantly talking down to her. The kind of love and desire she has for him leaves me very confused. Because there's nothing to like about him, aside for his looks? Their dynamic just didn't work. How many times has she shed tears because he's rejected her. I wanted to try and give this a chance again but I skipped through so much I eventually lost interest altogether.
they let Nim get away with way too much, that is why she had the audacity to keep going. should have let her jump off that bridge when they had the chance!
