Does anyone still think putting spoiler alerts on their posts is important to keep details from those who have…
why are people in the comment section if they haven't watched the episodes? it is within expectation that people will talk about the episodes and talk about content in the show. why do people who have not watched something think it is on others to shield them from spoiling themselves? nobody will know if you have watched something or not, everyone just assumes an episode that was released days ago already reached the majority. if you're in the minority who haven't watched it, what makes you think the majority should shield you from spoiling yourself? people, where is the self-awareness.
This is my first experience with actress Hong Suzu so I try to keep an open mind about her but ngl, the constant negative feedback on her got to me slightly and I built a somewhat bad impression of her. But I saw some of the interviews and Hong Suzu is actually really cute. I think she just has a case of RBF. When she's not talking or just sitting there, she looks very unaproachable and intense. But the moment she starts talking and joking around with the cast, she's very cute.
In the Press Conference for the show they talked about how U Hui and her father are supposed to be expressionless, cold, and stern. So she was definitely directed to act a certain way. So far I think the expressionlessness works for her character. Hopefully by the end of the show, her character is shown to have more bright and happy moments. I am rooting for U Hui and Yi Un's happy ending.
I just realized that once they soul switch (and if they don't swap back sometimes like Secret Garden) ep 4 might be the last time we see TaeOh act as Yi Gang and Sejeong act as Dal I 😂 as much as I would like to see them act each other's opposites, hopefully they swap back and forth often. I like Sejeong as Dal I ☺️
As we've seen since the beginning, even as a lowbirth commoner peddler, she still has integrity.
Integrity does. Her moral standing is she only receives what she deserves. She pays back debt she is owed. Her integrity works that way.
All the gifts she only took the silver because that is how much she believes she is owed by him. And when he attempted to gift her a smaller set later, (she was under impression he did so because she resembled his dead wife and he was role playing) so once again, morally she cannot accept gifts that belittle and look down on her.
god Yi Un and U Hui's love story is so tragic. As much as U Hui's actions are dark like her fathers, her intentions fall within saving and putting her man back in power (a dream he had that she still holds onto). I'm kind of rooting for them to have a happy end too, even though U Hui is kind of a gray character right now.
as for Yi Gang and Dal I, their love story is just beginning. I love how he yearns. Aside from her having the same face, I do think it's her personality that matters most. If a random woman had her face and acted completely different with different mindsets, I don't think he would have fallen for her again. He has attempted to part ways with Dal I many times but is strung back because the personality is exactly as the woman he fell for.
Now that they will soul switch in the next ep, I assume Dal I Yi Gang will have to sort out the political conflicts together and she will now learn about what happened to the dead Crown Princess and maybe connect the dots.
Damn, what U Hui did was cold af. I'm wondering if ultimately she could be the downfall for her dad. If he slightly turns his attention toward Yi Un in a bad way, she's not taking his bs laying down that's for sure.
Why does the 2nd fl have no expression? even when she is sad
The actress is infamous for pulling these "no expression" acting scenes. People roasted her acting in The Impossible Heir, which was her first main lead role. I'm no hater though, as I've never seen that drama and seeing her here will be my first ever experience with her. Keeping my opinions open for now, maybe she has improved and will be better in the upcoming episodes?
Because it's a BL and BL fans tend to have tunnel vision. This story is very much a Pin story as it is a Saenkaew…
Yes I'm a lakorn watcher 👐. I knew immediately this BL was lakorn and not the typical BL series. After seeing a lot of commenters not understand the multiple POVs and complexity of conflicts, I don't think tunnel vision BL watchers are ready for lakorns, the difference in story telling may be too much 😅
What I will say is, take comments/ratings with a pinch of salt. I've watched so many dramas with low ratinigs…
Yepp. I rarely watch a show based on how popular it is. It's always whether the plot interests me or not. Some popular shows are worth it, some aren't. It depends on what you personally like. And the only way to determine that is by actually watching it and being the judge for yourself, not letting what other's say sway you.
I don’t think disliking the FL makes someone a hater. She’s clearly not written as a positive character, so…
For the most part, true. I don't really like her either. And I'm gonna enjoy every bit of it.
I think that's the difference though. The distinct between liking how unlikable she is vs just disliking her. Former opinion shows you're enjoying the overall show plus her unlikable character. Latter opinion shows her unlikable character is souring your mood about the overall show. The tone of the comments is usually noticable who's enjoying the show vs who's not because she's unlikable, and that's mainly most of the arguments I've seen, is why are you complaining about a bad character who's supposed to be bad?
oooh so after ML almost dies too, that's how they'll get to the soul exchange, maybe? anyway, i enjoyed the first 2 episodes so far. I love Sejeong, I started this for her. I've never seen shows with TaeOh but am quite impressed with his performance so far. I felt his sadness thoroughly.
what she did to that Mr choi that coffee owner shop is bad
That user askme is in this comment section too? Dont bother talking to that person. They're very ignorant, cant comprehend basic conversational exchanges, and will intentionally misinterpret things and then pull some nonsense out their butthole as counter argument. They seem to hate watch a lot of shows just to complain about the most basic things that can easily be solved by going to watch shows they DO enjoy (which at this point I dont think they enjoy anything and are just being insufferable on purpose). I already blocked them and cant see any of their comments but when you did the @ in your comment i thought i'd chime in. Just my outsider's two cents tho 👐
May I ask in the Manhwa why did she want to destroy Junseo and he also wanted to destroy her ?
I think even during these episodes you can see he disagrees with what she did to her Dad. This is the beginning of his criticism against her and her methods. It reaches a point where she plans to take a third life and that was his breaking point. He ends up exposing her to media using all her X, as you saw in the beginning there was some kind of interview. After she fell from grace, she blamed him for ruining her life, and he becomes her last big victim, thinking if she has to suffer, so will he.
