100% agree, It seems that, this is the message the writer wants to have for this drama.I'm gonna copy what I said…
Min Woo's redemption arc feels wrong in so many ways to me. It feels unfair to WYW who actually had to go through so many troubles and her life would have been ruined if she didn't get lucky. It also makes Suyeon a less likable character to me with the fact she knows he was an a**hole to WYW and still liking him. Honestly I would have liked it more if they focused more on WYW and her struggles with her private and professional life instead of wasting that much time on Suyeon x Min Woo
MDL is a place where people share their thoughts about shows and movies. Obivously there is going to be a difference…
So far I've seen people giving their opinions in a nice manner. Also they are still giving this drama benefit of the doubt and disliking a character's development isn't wrong:/ People do have reasonable causes to dislike EAW and there are reasonable causes to love it too. I do love this drama despite disliking what they did to Min Woo and the 13,14 eps. I just feel really upset with the fact that giving Min Woo the redemption arc without him facing real consequences:/
The way YGR gets attached to anyone who shows him a bit of kindness is so heartwarming and kinda relatable in a way. I personally wouldn't like characters like him. But in just 2 eps, his character has become one of my favourite. Hopefully the writers don't mess upT-T
What's with this bashing on mydramalist? This show is still -and will remain- amazing, worth to be rewatched many…
MDL is a place where people share their thoughts about shows and movies. Obivously there is going to be a difference in everyone's opinion. Also the fact you think its great and amazing is just your opinion and someone expressing their dislikes towards something is just their opinion. Its nothing serious. Just people sharing their opinion:/ And most of the comments are giving constructive criticisms.
From the looks of it, it seems like they have forgotten everything Min Woo has done. Honestly, I don't understand how Suyeon started to like Min woo despite knowing everything he has done. Its just way too sudden. There was no build up for them. Min woo suddenly started to act like a decent human being and didn't even do the bare minimum. And Suyeon started to like him? Its just lazy and bad writing in my opinion. Also even if the writer wanted to redeem Min Woo, he should have atleast faced some consequences of his actions. What he did wasn't just some silly office pranks but it could ruin Young Woo's whole life. I do like ambitious and cunning characters. But he was a piece of shit with inferiority complex. Grown ups don't act like that. He was just being immature and mad about the fact that someone who he thinks is supposed to be "beneath" him is thousand times better than him. So why is the writer suddenly pretending that he did those things to survive? Also please no MW×SY T-T
I hope they redeem Min woo in the last few eps or make him end up with Su yeon. Su yeon deserves much more than him. It made me cringe when he pretended to be the pitiful guy. I know Suyeon is privilleged. But the way he pointed her privilleges out sounded a bit disrespectful to me. i understand his situation may not be that good. But I don't think its that bad either. He is an Attorney working at Korea's 2nd best law firm and he seems capable too. He would earn more money and get jobs at other firms without even doing all the sh***y things he did to Young woo. So whats the reason for being a trash except that he has inferiority complex and can't seem to accept the fact that someone with disablities can be deserving of their position?
it's like mouse + defendant + flower of evil = big mousemouse: a hidden mastermind not revealed till the later…
Haven't watch Defendent. But I thought the same. I was expecting Jung bareum to be the serial killer. But still it was surprising. Kinda expecting the same from Big mouse. But that theory doesn't make much sense seeing how much he is suffering:/ unless he actually lost his memory in the car accident and has no idea he is big mouse like Mouse
Even though it is realistic, disabled people facing discrimination, being bullied and receiving any sort of unkind…
I agree. I personally think that empathy and understanding should be given to those who give others the same. While I do understand OP's intentions and kinda agree with some of OP's opinions, I think it is someone's fault if they are being discriminating against people or bullying someone. I wished LJH's parents to be supportive like your parents. But it doesn't seem like my wish would be fulfilled
Even though it is realistic, disabled people facing discrimination, being bullied and receiving any sort of unkind…
I hate people who are blinded with their prejudice. so if i end up becoming like them then it would be pure hypocrisy. Someone with some kind of disablity is not abnormal. they just have a harder time to "fit in" with the majority. I don't know what I will do or end up becoming like. But if you ask me now, I wouldn't meddle in my child's life and make them hate me by being mean to the person they love. Since LJH's parents are yet to be seen, it is not clear whether they would be someone I would want to understand. It depends on how they are expressing their concerns. Honestly I would love to see LJH's family accepting WYW without any discriminations and their scenes to be heartwarming because this drama does it so well and I would be surprised if someone like LJH had the classical evil chaebol family. Even though that may not be the most realistic thing, but its 21st century. Atleast we can enjoy some progress in fiction
People should not blame LJH family, if they are saying something harsh towards WYW. Because that is a reality,…
Even though it is realistic, disabled people facing discrimination, being bullied and receiving any sort of unkind treatment is wrong. and if someone does such an act, they should not be expecting anyone to understand them or empathise with their situation. Even though I understand where you are coming from, I don't feel any need to put myself in a bully's shoes. I personally don't even have a disablity but I am super introverted and awkward. And the times I've heard mean things and been bullied for that is a lot. And i know if I ever dated someone with a disablity, my mom would definitely not like that. but still it would be wrong and i would not want to put myself in anyone's shoes who discriminates against someone I like.
Ep 12 left me feeling empty yet it was so heartwarming. honestly, i wish Woo Young Woo would leave Hanbada even though that would mean Kwon Min woo getting what he wants. Also him trying to blackmail Tae Sumi so that he can get a job there was dumb to me. It would definitely be the cause of hid "downfall" which i wish would happen. I wish WYW can become an attorney who will not just defend their client and win cases but make a positive diference in the world. If I ever end up being in a romantic relationship, I would wish to be like Lee Jun Ho. However, I can see discriminations against WYW affecting her mentality and how it would cause problems in their relationship. also the poem Attorney Ryu recited was really good. I am looking forward to see WYW become "a coal".
Did they forget Joon and Joo Ah kissed? In ep 8 Joo Ah is says that she doesn't have any reason to be mad because…
thanks but Joo Ah's word still doesn't make any sense to me:/ as far as i remember, she remembers their kiss. Doesn't that kiss gives her a reason to be mad about Joon having a gf?:/
I am just finished ep 8. And I have a question. Please answer. It's super confusing:'( I wrote it in the reply…
Did they forget Joon and Joo Ah kissed? In ep 8 Joo Ah is says that she doesn't have any reason to be mad because she isn't Joon's gf or someone he is flirting with. But Joon basically kissed her when they were drunk and Min ho saw that too. So, it can't be Joo Ah's imagination. Is Dear M gaslighting us? Or did I miss something?:/

lol sameeven though i love romcoms and romance, this year had a bunch of cringeworthy dramas:')
i know. but a good romance can be done without those cringeworthy scenes. they usually just ruin a drama. but it could also be done well, like in 25-21 and even the business proposal. TBP didn't have much of a plot and it made its cringeworthy scenes most memorable for me:/ but i understand what you are saying. can't imagine a romcom without cringeoworthy scenes:/
