Title You and Everything Else Spoiler
I was honestly loving this drama, but I can already predict what's gonna happen in the next episodes 😭 I love Sang hak, but I don't think Sang Yeon loves him? like the only thing they both relate on are his interests(which became Sang Yeon's interests cause of her brother). I just felt like she started developing an attachment to Sanghak cause he reminded her of her brother, and also, cause she was that depressed. I felt the same way about Eunjung too, but their relationship is honestly wholesome, and it feels more real. I usually love the haunting the narrative trope, but here, everything is just sooo toxic, and not in a good way:(

there is difference between shipping them romantically (yes, that is common and I have no issue with that), but…
yeah, you are right. i didn't know about the queer baiting accusations. i just saw people calling fan shipping deranged, and its just so weird to me cause it's in every fandom 😭

You're saying the plot is queer coded only because two women are the main characters even tho they have boyfriends.…
there is no mention of the boyfriends in the description, and bisexual people do exist lol. I don't think this is queer, but its not weird for a show to have fan shippings(there are a lot of hetero fan ships too) fan shipping exists in every fandom, and people acting like its really the end of world for people to ship two characters is weird, that's what i am saying

why is everyone so enraged in the comment sections lmao. it won't kill anyone if people ship two female mcs in a show(y'all would def ship them if they were male-female)💀 the plot description does sound queer coded, but not everything needs to be romantic. however, people acting like its the end of the world if a show has fan shippings is so weird. every show has ships, even the ones that doesn't really have any romance. y'all are so serious over nothing, the homophobia is def showing

i really tried to like this, but their misunderstandings are so frustrating tbh, and most of it doesn't make any senseT-T Kato Shiho is so gorgeous tho. I was low-key shipping her with Risa. i think age gap dramas are just not my thing

Bong su being a literal child feels so weird, and the ending was so rushed, but I still rated it high cause of the first half. I feel like, sometimes, kdramas ruin their script just to give the audiences a happy ending

I loved Ying Tao! She was a wonderful mix of bubbly yet tough. I know some didn't like Jian Qiao Xi but I felt…
yesss, i feel like people don't really understand how trauma works. like their criticisms are valid, but his character was pretty consistent throughout the series

i just finished it and i loved it lol
people saying that the fl doesn't have a backbone have their reasons, but i didn't view it like that tbh. our generation felt like damsel in distress with switched gender roles basically. People loved this type of story in first frost(i did too), but when a woman is doing all those stuff, suddenly she doesn't have a backbone. The story wasn't anything great tbh, but it was enjoyable. I wouldn't call Jiang Qiao Xi selfish, but rather he was a coward, and the drama shows that. He was honestly so realistic, despite having all those typical genius ml characteristics. I loved the fl sm ngl. Maybe I just like people sacrificing themselves for their love(tho she didn't. she got into an uni, worked hard to save money, and became a teacher)

It’s based on a popular Wattpad “novel” from 2012 but it’s not serious literature (fan-fiction 3rd “book”…
Well I do agree some kdramas and cdramas tend to be very polished, especially romcoms. But in recent years, i feel like it's getting better. I don't really watch Filipino dramas, I only gave this one a try cause I like Rabin, but one of my very very favourite movies of all time is a Filipino movie, so i do agree it can be more realistic in some ways.
