Does anybody know what rating the untamed is at? Like is it a hit in China or...? I hope it’s #1 it deserves…
It is #1 amongst dramas that are currently airing so far. On Douban, it went from 4.8/10 (first week) to 6.7/10 in a span of 4 weeks, which is pretty good since dramas of this genre rarely are well received by critics and reviewers.

So far what I've seen of the drama, the changes aren't major yet (ones that greatly impact the story of the flaw…
My biggest issue is that they are not making WWX as the founder of the demonic path/cultivation, which is the most integral part of his character. I can even go as far as to say that him not being the founder makes him not WWX anymore. I don’t know what they are planning to do with his character if the demonic path already exists and he’s not the one who creates it.

Despite the ridiculous changes, Xiao Zhan is the main reason I’m watching this. He’s so brilliant. The more eps I watch, the more I think he shines and embodies Wei Wuxian.

I’m really close to dropping this series. First they nerf WWX in favour of Xue Yang, now they have the audacity…
At this point, we just have to treat this as a fanfic or a very loose adaptation at least.
