Why on earth are his coaches talking about retirement?? If he can no longer compete in pairs skating, surely he…
For sure they are two separate disciplines but in reality there are athletes who have moved between them. It's just weird to me that the coaches' immediate reaction is that he should retire! If he's won all those gold medals he's obvs a talent who should at least try singles, instead of retiring from the sport altogether.
I want to watch this when it gets subbed but I also don't want to watch this because I have lingering resentment against FL for her role in Danger Zone ^____^
I am sooo confused about this giant freakin plot hole (spoiler below)
Why on earth are his coaches talking about retirement?? If he can no longer compete in pairs skating, surely he can transition into singles skating? In real life, athletes have gone between the two, some skaters even competed in both pairs and singles. It. Does. Not. Make. Sense.
Despite its flaws, still an enjoyable season, with a satisfying ending. Great acting, quality cinematography and characters that you root for, as well as those that you despise. All those qualities made up for the plot holes and inconsistencies. The talented young actor playing Ren Fei stole the show, one to keep an eye on in the future for sure. If there is a third season, I would definitely watch.
Outstanding. Highly recommended. Excellent cinematography and acting all around (not just the mains, the supports were also great). Supremely binge-worthy, despite some obvious plot holes. Can't believe I lucked out and found this gem of a series when it was all completed. Would have been agony to wait between episodes. Season 2 here I come!
Highly underrated. I'm giving it a 8.75 / 10 Had never heard of this drama at all, but I somehow stumbled upon it. Super binge-worthy.
Would love for there to be a season 2, but that will probably never happen. Honestly, give me a standalone season just on Eugene & I'd be more than happy too!
They sure know how to spot a popular Korean show and remake it. Btw I figured out a way to watch Heart Signal 4 w English subs, I left the steps on the HS4 page recently. Hope it helps.
The amount of times she gets caught in the rain...they should have called this drama Damp Girl (It's Raining...Again!).
I skipped all the scenes w her younger bro & her friend because yawn generic noona romance yawn. ML is gorgeous but also a tad creepy. Super lazy scriptwriting...FL & ML bump into each other out of nowhere multiple times just to move plot forward. FL is bland bland but honestly she is less irritating than other FLs in recent modern Cdramas I've watched.
Best season of Heart Signal, because of true friendship, a single couple in particular and commentators who were…
Full thoughts w spoilers:
The Simon & Melody CP were just *swoon*. Was rooting for them all the way through. They truly made the season, imo! The cherry on top was seeing them when the cast reunited in the finale.
I have no clue why Mai Sui wasn't shown any interest. Not only is she stunning, but she seems so kind. The rest of the guys in there weren't good enough for her, especially not Chen Ye Xiong, so I really hope she finds someone who will appreciate her outside the show
Cheng Zi was my least favourite member. That whole little girl pouty face she made often annoyed me. Hopefully she learns to be more open and honest with what she wants instead of hiding away and expecting people to have telepathy to understand her feelings.
Xiao Kong was actually pretty mature despite being the youngest one there. Good for her that she followed her heart and expressed herself bravely. Not sure that Ma Zi Jia is the right one for her, but good luck to them I guess.
Best season of Heart Signal, because of true friendship, a single couple in particular and commentators who were actually engrossed with what was happening. Plus the finale episode was squeeeeee!
Only 8 episodes in, but hoping it gets better. This had a lot of potential but I feel let down so far. Crown Princ(ess) hasn't really done anything worthy of admiration so far (she hasn't used her brains to counter-scheme against those trying to hurt her, hasn't come up with policies to help the people, isn't being a badass warrior etc) So it makes literally no sense for Jung Ji Woon to fall in love with the male version of her at all.
The fact that she looks relatively believable as Crown Prince compared to other dramas, and the excellent child actors at the start gave me super high hopes for this one!
On the plus side, so many good looking people that my eyes are blessed :)
