Yeori seems to lack discernment and that can't be good for a shaman. How can she be crossing paths with these vile human beings and not once has she paused to look at them twice. From the blind shaman to the evil queen, but it was when she started talking about how kind and amazing the king's grandfather is that I knew she was a lost cause. There are so many context clues around her but she refuses to learn.

It was obvious a while ago that Kang Chul didn't kill her grandmother but instead just played the role of a bystander. Him losing his powers is one of my least favourite tropes in these kinds of dramas cos then what is the point of him being a deity? Looking forward to the 2nd half of the show. Hopefully, all villains will be exposed soon and we can have some proper showdowns.

I really hope they explain it cos how's a whole water dragon getting his ass kicked by a mere water spirit IN water? I need the writers to give us a reason for his apparent weakness and uselessness when it counts.

Now why did he stab it THROUGH the talisman? We all saw the gaps in the net that the blade could've gone through! Also, I was surprised Yeo Ri didn't support with a chant or something, but maybe the net was supposed to be enough.

I'm also getting a little annoyed with the "must bring Yoon Gap back" plot cos maybe just let the man ascend in peace FFS. But since they've set up the self-sacrifice plot line now, I guess we'll see if Kang Chul deletes himself to save her and then Gap can return to the body. Tbh, Gap seemed boring AF before he was possessed so I don't miss him at all lol.

Also, that old queen needs to fall into a well and never see sunlight again. All she does is plot and scheme to harm others, but she's shocked when her own waste of space of a son dies? That's just karma, ma'am.

Every 3 to 5 business days someone's trying to kill Seo Dong Jun and I just find that so funny.

At the end of the day, what Huh Il Do knew and when he knew it doesn't matter, cos he willfully murdered his so-called best friend, the woman he was involved with, and a child who was BEGGING to be saved. He's a monster and he deserves to rot in hell.

YEN is still white noise to me whenever she's on screen. I know the doctor's dad had to find out about Dong Jun somehow, but once again, why couldn't this have been written without making the doctor look like a completely unprofessional idiot? She closed the laptop because her father walked into the room, and then just handed it to him to use without shutting the video of DJ down???? Then proceeds to tell him EVERYTHING DJ said and went through without DJ's consent??? Ridiculous.

I enjoyed this up until the last episode. Daon acted like the worst kind of damsel in distress. Getting free and then dropping the knife, going to the door and jiggling the handle when he knows that house and how to get out, saying "hyung stop it" over and over to a crazy person who stabbed himself in front of him to make a point... Like defend yourself, PLEASE.

Also, how far away was that convenient cabin? It seemed remote enough to be completely private, and yet close enough to reach in what seemed like a manner of minutes. It felt like all the characters were obviously on the same set and just waiting for their cue to walk into the scene. Don't even get me started on the random old lady who popped up to give Daon time to get loose, only for him to hand Jaemin a knife instead.

Overall, I enjoyed the drama, but Daon was a disappointment in the end. I needed him to actually do something other than be rescued, but I guess at least he made his big presentation or whatever.

I think we all saw the white truck coming. I'm glad the memory loss nonsense is done and now we can get into the revenge plot. I do think it's kind of funny how they've unlocked even his childhood trauma and hidden memories now. Curious that he was in the car accident with YEN (even though I dislike the "they knew each other as kids" plot in general) and I'd like to know more.

I skipped most scenes with YEN and I didn't feel like I missed anything important ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Lol. I'm talking about fictional characters and you're making it personal. That's funny, but it won't change the fact that this character has been presented poorly from the start. Doing something as stupid as dropping the secret burner phone her lover gave her on the bed in front of her husband, and then pouting when she saw it with her mother later? What part of that is thrilling? Lol.

She cares about him, but she's still an idiot. Two things can be true at the same time. She's also very selfish cos when her grandfather said she could have Dongju if she gave up her shares, she didn't even consider it. ATP I'm begging them for a reason to like her beyond the fact that DJ is in love with her.

YEN is actually ruining this show for me. What do you mean you chose shares over the man you love but you want to keep the man regardless? What do you mean by tossing around the SECRET PHONE your bf gave you in plain view of everyone???? I don't like stupid characters and that's a level of stupidity I cannot abide. It would be a different thing if they said her husband searched for the phone, but for her to just casually leave it lying around????

I want to root for this show but anytime YEN shows up, I get so annoyed. They actually went out of their way to show us that she wasn't threatened or deceived or cajoled into that marriage and that's a fatal flaw for me. I don't need the love story and I wish they'd kill it.

Finally, I despise an amnesia plot. I can allow for some brief traumatic memory loss, but I don't care for anything else. I want to see how they make it less odious but I'm not really expecting much.

The people who showed up at her house are so funny to me, cos I would've asked them to show me when I told them to invest in the company. You made a choice based off of hearsay and now it's Ji Yun's fault? I would've read them all for filth.

Byeol remains my MVP. She steals every scene and I adore her.

Why wouldn't they just tell the boy who his mother-in-law is so he doesn't keep collecting poison from her? Lol. I don't see the reason for that lie when everyone in the village knows who she is and what their history is. It's the stupidest thing to keep hidden and there's no real reason for it because he loves his wife and he will forgive her anything.

I actually just want Tae Young to be selfish for once and just be happy for a little while with the man she loves, but I know she won't. I wish she'd take a break from all that responsibility and just have a fresh honeymoon and proper newlywed life like she would have if not for her tragic circumstances. But since we still have 7 episodes to go, there will be much more heartbreak in store for her and us.

Why didn't they just run him over at the end of ep 11? Why get out of the car and indulge a crazy killer? That irked me.

I'm 16 episodes in and I don't get why Wen Xiao is always crying on the floor in every critical moment. If I took a shot for every time she weepingly calls "Xiao Zhuo" while staring helplessly at other people fighting, I'd be unalived so fast.

I just think it's funny that Hyeri is the one in therapy.

I just remembered how everyone let the royal family execute the Ye family for no reason and didn't bother to clear their name. That entire royal family should've been wiped out imo.

I liked this but I feel like the whole reason Dongjun and Dingzhi ended up fighting each other was so contrived. Also, I'm not going to overlook the fact that the war could've been avoided if Langya hadn't given the throne to his useless brother. He knew Wenjun didn't want to marry that toad since he was one of those who forced her to, so he should've put an end to his brother's ties to her as quickly as possible. Instead he allowed it to fester and let his brother have even more power. Don't even get me started on the idiocy of Yue Yao's sister. Dingzhi was always going to have a tragic end but tying it to the defence of such a useless human being made it even more annoying. I also think the fact that no one notable died along the way was quite ridiculous.

Finally, I didn't enjoy Yue Yao just turning into a meek housewife as soon as she and Dongjun got together. Or Wenjun always being a damsel in need of saving (I wish she'd just killed the prince herself but then there wouldn't be a stupid reason for Ye Dingzhi to die a stupid death).

I'm not pleased with the way the story went but it all looked really good and my favorite character turned out to be Li Changsheng/Nangong Chunshui cos he was so overpowered that nothing else mattered. I wanted to know what he wrote in the letter to the grand eunuch cos he kept saying read it carefully lol.

Her one experience of him was him forcing Han Ting to drink even though he said he was allergic to alcohol, and the only reason Han Ting did that was cos that dude was trying to force Ji Xing to drink. Why would she ever think he was someone she could do business with? Also, Li Li said in the previous scene that they had offers from many companies. Ji Xing simply chose that company to hurt Han Ting.

Yeah, she said she didn't want anything serious and she was very clear about why, but he kept insisting that she could rely on him and that he was serious about her. He was the one who kept pushing to change the terms of their relationship. He made promises he couldn't keep cos he told her he wanted something serious but what he really wanted was something purely on his terms. If he'd left it at casual hookups, she wouldn't be upset with him.

However, I do agree that the wedding talk at the wedding was just too much but it allowed her to discover that he didn't have any plans to ever get married or have other kids.
