Goddess Bless You from Death Episode 11

so given the Santi House head needing medical attention, am101% sure he is Thup's bio father (hope i aint wrong, like i was with Mek lol) but he & his son r really something - given how many people they have sacrificed just to prolong their own. even though understandable it's still very despicable. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but this ep was something else with the frustration levels i felt watching - the one thing u know from watching scary movies, is that u don't split-up!!! there is power in numbers!!! but here everyone was hell bent on going their own way - like come on... hella frustrating. i was sure the way things were progressing that in this ep everyone would be in danger & it would end on a cliffhanger... still wondering how they knew about Singha's sister. or was that cause she is dead so dead know the 411 about other dead people. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************btw King's is just a annoying MOFO, found it hilarious how hypocritical he is - he treats King like dirt & that's ok. but just cause King isn't ready to listen & fall in line he is shocked to his core - f*ckin bad joke. but Why the f*ck didn't King tell that moron that fathered him, that there were new victims that have gone missing??? wouldn't that help sway him??? of course given what a shitty cop he is, he could say it's a copycat. so u never know with cops like him. **************************************************also given the fact that as Bom got his victims ready, his skin condition got better means that he already murder them? or just the fact that he has them ready is enough to placate the ghosts??? so many questions ugh

Love between Lines Episode 17

Episode 17 hits heavy from the start. After discovering her husband is having an affair, the best friend feels almost frozen in time — like her body is moving but her mind hasn’t caught up yet. The ML’s best friend contacts the FL because something feels off, and through the window he’s watching her mechanically grinding coffee before closing the shop early. It’s clear he harbours feelings for her, and he can sense when something is wrong. And just when it feels like she can’t take any more, a pipe bursts and the coffee shop floods. The ML’s best friend comes rushing in, making sure she and the shop are okay. It’s practical rescue mode, but also emotional rescue in its own way. They end up having a heartfelt conversation about missing the signs, and she draws a painful parallel between the burst pipe and her husband’s cheating — both are disasters that were quietly building until they finally exploded. The FL has her own tearful moment, witnessed by the ML, where she admits she hurts for her best friend… but what scares her most is that her best friend isn’t even crying properly. She’s not dramatic, she’s not loud — she just feels empty. Void. And honestly, that’s sometimes the most heartbreaking stage. After an unsettling night, the FL rushes to a meeting, is one step away from eating the floor, and the Rival Lead (RL) saves her at the last second. That leads to them arriving at the elevator together… and the ML goes green with envy all over again. This time he can’t hold it in — he openly berates the RL. Their bickering should be funny, but there’s a sharp edge to it now, like something deeper is brewing under the rivalry. We also see the RL’s father watching the meeting closely through cameras, and it’s impossible not to notice how calculated it feels. He’s paying too much attention, like he’s tracking every move. It’s giving “I’m hiding something,” and possibly something deadly — something connected to the ML’s father.Between the hidden surveillance and the resurfacing family tensions, it feels like the past isn’t just haunting them — it’s actively watching, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Can This Love Be Translated? Episode 1

This episode standalone would make a pretty great movie. Picturesque location but the two leads are tormented by their past love. They don't belong to the place but they both have their sad stories belonging the place - her secret and his, becoming their secret. Painful secret that they both understand each other very well. We learn Hojin is our lead with impeccable language skills, and seems to be quite a pedantic himself (asking to refill Korean pamphlets for tourists and correcting his clients goofups) and also seems to be very kind and caring. Muhee on the other hand seems like the complete opposite with a chaotic energy but it is revealed she only was there seeking answers and wanted some kind of closure. Set out to set things right she learns things that her story wasn't what she thought it was but only to be rescued by Hojin and save her from further drowning in her sorrow.Keeping this review spoiler free, this opening episode has beautiful cinematography, character study and is truly a romantic comedy at heart.Refreshing, fast and quite rich first episode knocks it out of the park. If you have liked 'Before/After Sunset', 'The Holiday' and even the latest 'Heated Rivalry' the storytelling makes you feel nice and warm.

Love between Lines Episode 16

Episode 16 is messy in the best (and worst) way, because it’s all about distance and the lies people think they can hide. The ML starts creating space from the FL, beginning with moving out before the lease even ends. The FL assumes it’s because she tried to kiss him and he blocked her, and he leaves her hanging until his best friend turns up to help move his things. What I loved is that the FL is no longer a pushover. She draws a line. Calmly, respectfully, but firmly. She returns the early termination rent money and gives him the same emotional distance he’s been serving her — basically matching his energy, and honestly… good for her.We then switch to the best friend and husband’s storyline, and the cheating suspicion is no longer just “a feeling.” He comes home late, his behaviour is off, and things don’t add up. She checks his phone, and we learn he’s been meeting his junior for a while. On the surface it’s framed as networking — she can help him land a project (and she does) — but it also feels like it feeds his ego. A younger woman chasing him, shared IT interests, attention… it’s giving insecurity dressed up as ambition. The junior clearly knows he’s married, and that doesn’t stop her from swooping in for a kiss — a kiss the best friend actually witnesses. My stomach dropped for her. She’s strong, but she shouldn’t have to be strong like this.Meanwhile, office gossip claims the Rival Lead (RL) has a thing for the FL. The FL calls it out perfectly: he’s using her to take digs at the ML. But… there are moments where it looks like genuine interest slips through, which makes the dynamic even more uncomfortable. They come to an agreement since they have to work closely on the project — he won’t use her as a tool in his infighting with the ML.And while all of this is happening, the ML is starting to go green with envy. He wanted distance… but watching her exist in someone else’s orbit is clearly bothering him. This episode feels like the point where “distance” stops being a tactic and becomes a test — because the ML can’t keep pushing the FL away and still expect her to stay untouched by everything around her.

I think this episode is one of my favorites so far, man pavel's acting is top tier. I've read the novel and even tho i know what was going to happen i still felt anxious while watching, usually im not a fan of changes from the original source but in this case they really change some things for the better. I love how pooh portrays thup, thup was my favorite while reading and pooh made me love thup even more. kinda sad thats only 2 episodes left. I can really see how ambitious this project was and how they suceed in exceed the expactations, im really glad that pooh and pavel had this opportunity to portray such complex and interesting characters in a very good drama.

i wish a bf like Alt would find me, how can anyone be this perfect?!??? the guy is a green flagship - the understanding & caring, Ian lucked out. he has to done absolutely nothing - no emotional heavy lifting for him. he just needs to exist Alt will take care of everything. this was very sweet & fluffy - but also very unrealistic. sweet & short.

Literally took "in my darkness you were my light" to life. I love the ending! I am sad just sad to see the aftermath of her best friend and her cheating husband. Why did the director do us so wrong by misleading us to thinking it wasn't an affair to begin with. I was so happy for his character!!

This episode gave more insight on the relationship between Yan Feng Shan and Wang Pu as well as the relationship (or lack of it) between the deposed emperor and his older brother. Perhaps this was the very first time the injured emperor (older brother) is able to the other side of his younger brother's personality and character (though at this juncture he does no know the real identity of the person tending to him).

Yu doesn’t get to play hovering bf/boss when he gave her a whole new interpretation of kiss off. 😝 He did get his way but I appreciate most Xiu’s adult and professional behavior with both of these ‘brothers’. She refuses to be intimidated by either of them, but presents herself grounded and professional whether on the job or off. Pei rescues her from falling and the elevator change was noticeable. In front first time, around her back second. It is a deliberate dig at Yu but also shows his change of estimation of her as a person. I am annoyed they have delayed or left for interpretation Wang’s kiss reaction that Zhao saw. This is my only complaint of this drama. They cut off scenes we want to see . 😝 I just want to give Zhao a big hug.🤗 She is so lost and almost catatonic in grinding coffee. Gong has diverted the tension of Xiu and Yu’s trip back by getting Zhao the support she needs. As expected Xiu is all in comforting her friend. There is no happy business news Zhao wants to hear. I am annoyed her husband has made no efforts to personally check up on her after his long absences. Even if not in an affair as that scene suggests, he is completely obtuse to his wife’s feelings and true desire to be a partner with him. He is painfully clueless and Zhao is feeling it 100 fold as the pipe breaks in her cafe. Gong again has provided invaluable help getting the water cleaned up and getting professionals lined up to assist her. She has a candid conversation with Yu about being more honest with Xiu. I hope he will take it to heart. I love that even in the midst of her deepest sorrow, she takes the time to look after her friend. Their sisterhood is truly remarkable.❤️ Mr congenial is a very talkative third wheel at the park.🤣😂 The picturesque walk Yu had planned with her got drowned out by his and Xiu’s photo session for future project. 😂🤣 The dark corridor was quite different experiences for Xiu and Yu. He sees the light at the end of the tunnel is her. She appreciates it, but she sees it most as photo opportunity for inspiration. We see how Yu’s father haunts him and he has most likely told no one of their game or how it impacted him. He needs a hug too which Xiu would gladly provide if he could be honest with her. Xiu adds her own pondering wanting to know how long it takes to truly know a person. Yu’s thoughts of her brings a true smile to his face. Xiu has been the only one to break through for that true smile to show. Zhao has agreed to meet hubby and it’s going to get real. Waiting to see how she handles things. This was a heavy hitter in reflecting on getting beat up emotionally by persons you most care about. The big question it leaves is what does elder Pei not want his son or Yu to discover? Where else has he taken shortcuts?

Why didn't she remove her veil when entering the city? Was it not to let the enemies know that she has returned? Because they know she is ML's weakness. Why didn't the soldiers just kill before removing her veil? Can they not see that her body shape and clothing resemble a woman's? Initially, I felt annoyed but the more I thought about it, I can understand that soldiers obey/carry out orders without questioning - hesitation can mean destruction! And besides, the target was supposed to be the notorious and dangerous enemy. Wang Pu discovering the travel pass for Yan Feng Shan was sent out and thereafter manipulating things. Great acting by ML, I can feel his pain, grief and despair.

Wow, I loved this episode. This is what a great general should be - not succumbing to the beauty trap, patiently planning and thinking ahead. And when the right moment comes, seize it. I did see someone in the comment section asking how can he ride a horse when he's crippled? I don't know, maybe his hips and thighs are not affected? Maybe he only has problems below the knees? I don't know and don't feel that's an issue. I only know the actor was amazing trying to hunt down Wang Pu.

I truly want Zhi Yu to find the truth he’s been searching for, but the way he ran from Xiu on the rooftop was heartbreaking. Saying he would move out, having Huai Cong pack his things, and leaving like that felt unnecessarily cruel. Believing he doesn’t deserve happiness until his father’s case is resolved might make sense to him, but it didn’t suit him at all. Thankfully, Xiu is someone who stands by her choices — just as she didn’t give up on becoming a designer for better pay, she won’t give up on love either.Returning the white dress Zhi Yu bought for her was the perfect response. If he chose to hurt her, it was only fair that he felt some of that pain too. Refunding the remaining rent and saying she dislikes unfinished business showed her dignity and strength. This episode also showed Pei Zhen deliberately trying to provoke Zhi Yu — buying Xiu chocolates and choosing her for coordination — but Xiu saw through it and drew a clear boundary. Their conversation in the car was unexpectedly sincere, and one line especially stayed with me: “To me, being kind isn’t decorating lies carefully, but telling the truth with gentleness.” After hearing this, Pei Zhen admitted that he had misjudged her. It was then Xiu who calmly suggested that they properly get to know each other, extending her hand and proposing that they work together with less pretence and more sincerity going forward. Seeing him on-site, taking safety seriously and caring about the work, made him more understandable and even respectable. His rivalry with Zhi Yu seems rooted in his need for his father’s approval — he believes in his father, but wouldn’t cover up a mistake if he saw one.As for Guang Ming, this episode clarified why he has been troubling me all along. I don’t believe he has any romantic interest in Chi Xin; she doesn’t truly attract him. The real issue is that she holds important materials for his project, and in his desperation to complete it and earn more money, he makes compromises he normally wouldn’t. Adding her on WeChat and taking her out to dinner as a form of “repayment” already crossed a line. It was Chi Xin who kissed him, clearly misreading the situation, and although Guang Ming pushed her away, his wife had already seen everything. He may be able to justify his actions to himself, but the result doesn’t change — he was doing things in secret, and his wife witnessed it. I can’t excuse him for that, and I truly hope Xiao Rou doesn’t forgive him and that he’s forced to face the consequences of his choices.
