A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills' Dream Episode 6

this BL has turned into rage bait for me, i don't think there is one character that i actually like (besides Chang Yang & maybe Han Lu) the blame game at the start was infuriating - it's either everyone to blame or no-one & a "sh*t just happens" situation. cause sorry but (& i think i keep repeating myself) Qing Lang is a grown ass adult that has the right to take a break & live his life the way he sees fit - but NOPE according to his management & everyone surrounding him he doesn't have a right to life his life as he sees fit, the sec he goes off grid they like crazy chasing after him as is someone kidnapped his ass. & everyone shocked sh*t happened?!? enough with this crap - & i think the one i hated the most (ironically more then Shi Yuhao) was the Ganlin b*tch - compare the way to spoke to that makeup artist that was feeding Shi Yuhao info & how she talks to Qing Lang the star of the company & u would wonder who really is the star. & the most infuriating thing is that Qing Lang keeps enabling this treatment. when will he say enough? put his foot down??? **************************************************************************i get that if u want fame u need to give up on sh*t, but for how long can a person live the way Qing Lang is? what's left in his life to live for??? so like i said this has turned into rage bait where i am just livid from scene to scene. don't like anyone & just am waiting for this to end.

Ha ha! The way they used this phrase multiple times in the opening conversation between Ling Xueying and Yi Xiao over how much time the latter was spending with Feng Sui Ge .... and then Lu Ke shows up, says that very phrase and she leaps up to go with him to see Sui Ge .... hilarious! Things turn dark soon after as she walks straight into an obvious trap that reveals Xia Jing Shi's connection with the death camp that brutally trained her as a child. Fortunately she is rescued by ML. Later, Xia Jing Shi and Feng Xi Yang finally get married and it's notable that the Emperor stares intently at Xia Jing Shi during the bowing ceremony. Seems like he sees right through him? Finally, the episode closes with Sui Ge and Yi Xiao exchanging gifts. But why do the subtitles describe the sculpture as a wolf when it looks so much more like a bear? A very fat wolf?

Holy crap, non stop kissing in start of Episode 7. I didn’t even get a chance to breathe just watching them. The chemistry was so intense. I wonder how many hours they spent filming that scene because it looked incredibly natural. Also, did I miss an episode? I remember in the last episode Qing Lang told Chang Yang that he regretted meeting him, so I thought they were going to be apart for a while. Instead, they’re back kissing like nothing happened. Then one of them says, “I bet you missed me.” That escalated so quickly without dragging out the reconciliation, and honestly, I was not expecting it.

still can’t stand the mother. no progress has been made with her & there is no impact of the last episode. it is still the eighth episode but god that means ⅘ of the show is just our main character being absolutely rancid & intolerable. & you can’t root for her to grow because she hasn’t. i love game competition plots but because of all I’ve said about umi & daichi also being a person that just gets draggd around a lot this was a slog to get through. there were less funny moments but they actually were hilarious when they did crack a joke. i can’t continue today this one episode exhausted me enough.

This is largely a guess, but given how bothered Yi Xiao is every time she encounters Mu Rong Yao (ML's childhood friend) I'm guessing it's because he is probably the man behind the mask. He's also one of the few main characters who is tall enough to be the masked guy. I also speculated it might be his father, the general, but the latter isn't tall enough. The show is also going to great lengths to paint him as a harmless dandy, so that is another indicator. He may also actually have an obsession w/ ML - that might explain why he wanted her dead so badly after she shot ML.

While I am very excited for another Omegaverse story this first episode was lackluster. — The characters and world were weirdly introduced. How can Phatsa not know about the Omegaverse? Why doesn‘t everyone know about it? Why are his friends (& Sangnuea) kinda hush-hush about it as if it’s some kind of secret mafia organisation - no one can choose whether they want to be a part of it - and then tell him anyways as if it‘s common sense? Why was the explanation of the Omegaverse split into two conversations on two separate days? (I have an inkling why**) — Generally the dialogues were not flowing at all and quite repetitive (disregarding the not good translation we have atm) it was kinda painful to witness. — What is Phatsa‘s life like? Fighting with bad people on the street and hanging around the café of his buddy? That‘s all we learn about him in this Ep. And that he graduated with honours. But what he studied? 🤷♀️ Since his life‘s purpose now is being bonded to a stranger his personal life probably won‘t be that important anymore. So, why establish it? — My perception is that Nakhun entered the café after the heat incident happened… So, how in the world did Phatsa’s heat pheromones not hit Nakhun with a force as hard as our dearest truck-kun? But the cup he touched for a few seconds carried his scent for days…? sure. — I really missed the scene with them crossing each other on the street which causes an uncontrolled rut. That still could‘ve happened when he entered the café and smells the heat pheromones, so he frantically runs through the streets leading him to Phatsa who‘s fighting off those guys… speaking of that fighting scene: I thought they would reshoot it. While it was fine in the pilot it makes almost no sense to me that Nakhun would stop to stop a fight in the middle of the night (he has 4 bodyguards, why do it himself? ye, they‘re not with him in that scene but when you‘re so used that… and ye he‘s an alpha but still). I doubt he smelled Phatsa from far away & in a moving car… as it is established in this ep. atm he only smells him when he‘s in close proximity. — There were so many scenes that were just silent and/or long but didn‘t add anything to the character or world establishing. Phatsa’s heat was a quite long scene where I thought he would loudly ask some more questions to the universe: „Why do I feel hot? What is happening to me? What’s wrong with me? Where is this suddenly coming from? Could this be because I am an Alpha? I need to go to a doctor.“ but no, we (pretty much) silently struggle in the café so our friends who are very familiar with the omegaverse notice nothing, then we just go home and endure it. — The scene at the bar… „here your welcome drink“ *sits down as if to have a conversation* „anyways I have to go somewhere else, enjoy“. There definitely was a scene cut out. All those (silent) scenes made the episode rather slow while I expected it to be a little quicker. — **I can already feel that they might stuggle with all the characters they‘re trying to handle here (to further „introduce“ Sangnuea they probably split the explanation into two convos). We get an extra brother that was nowhere in the pilot and we haven‘t even met the women of the story. (According to the trailer) we already know all the brothers will get their lovestory. Will the women end up with each other, too? Now That would be interesting especially if they‘re ABO as well. — Production value, the fight scenes and videography were good. Also the visual effects of the pheromones look very good. So there‘s still hope and I believe that it can get better. Fingers crossed 🤞

Yi Xiao finally confronts Xia Jing Shi about his shooting her and clarifies they are now enemies. Later, on the advice of Dr. Ling, in order to make her recovery safer, Sui Ge takes Yi Xiao to a place of refuge (his late mother's villa in the woods) for a peaceful interlude. Their romance starts to move steadily forward from this point.

Barth and Tanrak's first meeting is the most important scene in this episode because it is the start of it all. Don't want to give spoilers for the ones who havent watched it but this series is worth a watch especially for those who have the same questions discussed in the series.

this was too short & even though it was a happy ending, i am freakin devastated & crying my eyes out. the conversation & meeting with Father Arnon broke me, but it was also healing cause in-spite of what he thinks (cause of his religion) he realized that to Tanrak he wasn't just a priest, he was both mother & father & so he offered Tanrak the words of love, forgiveness, support & understanding he needed to live a guilt free, happy life with the person he loved. **************************************was also happy to see them have closure with not only Kongdech but Master Phak, there was something were heartening about that whole encounter. same with seeing the mother free & in red showing that in her freedom she was blossoming. this was a beautifully written, phenomenally acted BL. the fact this is the real life story of Aof makes this a love song to his beloved & to all the people in his life that came along to push his forward, including God. this was beautiful if painful

Barth is fearless, even adults that don't have an income or a way to support themselves wont leave the hell they exist in - cause the unknown is so scary. but Barth not to give up on love is ready to take on the world & is offering Tanrak the assurance that he is there with him in thick & thin. giving him the push he needed not to give up on their love . bitter sweet & heartwarming - but this was a very emotionally charged ep - well most of them r. & even though i think there was a bit of gaslighting on Kongdech's part, he still had the right to have his say & tell Tanrak to his face that he betrayed & abandoned their friendship - which isn't a lie. one last ep to go & idk how the last ep is gonna go... was sure until now that Tanrak wouldn't be able to give up his life long mission to get into heaven via the priesthood. now given the ending of the ep idk - maybe Barth is strong enough to change Tanrak's heart.

Beautiful written! Couldn’t have asked for a better ending for my MekSolar. Both characters have grown so much individually and as a couple.

Sadly, the pacing for this show was just a letdown. The last ep did wrap up the show but the finesse and personality of Lom was just not there. She spent most of the episode moping and Blew was finally written with a bit of character in her home country. They spent 7 episodes building to this last episode but the pacing could have been done better. There was so much hype for The Air and sadly I was disappointed. I still think The Earth and The Water were better than this. We shall see how The Fire is next...
