What Lion did felt so unrealistic. He cheated on Kanit, they broke up for only a few weeks, and then he showed up at Kanit's friend's birthday party with an expensive bag before proposing to Kanit. Where is the logic in that? In real life, you don't propose to your ex like nothing happened. You rebuild the relationship first, earn back their trust, and then maybe think about marriage. On top of that, he completely overshadowed his friend's birthday. It was her special day, her moment to celebrate. If he wanted to propose at someone else's event, the least he could have done was ask for permission first. Imagine someone randomly showing up at your birthday just to propose to their ex. The entire focus shifts away from the person the celebration was actually for. Lion's actions just didn't make sense to me.The bright spot was seeing Kanit and Toto become boyfriends. Their relationship is a reminder that money cannot buy happiness. Toto may not have luxury cars or endless wealth, but he never betrayed Kanit's trust and loved him with his whole heart. Sometimes, happiness is found in the simplest gestures. Singing in a restaurant, giving a handmade gift, or placing a flower garland around the person you love can mean far more than any expensive present. At the end of the day, I'd rather be truly happy with the right person than live surrounded by luxury with someone who makes me feel alone. Love is not measured by the price of a gift, but by the sincerity of the heart that gives it.

And we meet even more gluttons! đ It's quite amusing how easily Lifei could get into that "well-guarded" library/archive, and how she can get all the information she needs from her Master just by bribing him with yet another delicious food offering. đ€ With every moment spent there, I question Wuyue Court's superiority more and more. đ€šHu Jiaping being Lifei's senior brother was really something I already expected. He revealed it episodes ago just by looking at that funny picture of him. đBut Qin... well, he looked suspicious to me almost right away. And it was confirmed in this episode that he actually is! So, he chose to keep the information from the scroll he found a secret, most likely to master the demonic technique himself. đ But it's no big surprise, actually, seeing the immense pressure the Master is putting on him due to his lack of capability to reach the fifth level. He doesn't want to give up his status to some younger disciples, so he's becoming hungry for an extra boost. đđ€šI wonder who the man in the black cape was. Have we met the person hiding under it already? đ€Lifei is still trying to push Xiuyuan away, whilst simultaneously worrying about him. Meanwhile, he spends his free time fighting his demonic side... if she doesn't accept him soon, I wonder if the demon will take over and she will have to do some Divine Tree stuff to get the guy back on track? But that's just speculation. Xiuyuan keeps putting himself in harm's way just so Lifei can do and find whatever she wants... what a guy! đ„șâ€ïž

This is one of the best episodes! Featuring: - Xiuyuan confessing his feelings and being slapped! OH NO!- Qin shixiong assaulting our smart Lifei, by xianxia standards anyway. You know, trying to deceive her to dual cultivate, but she didn't buy it! Our smart girl!- Xiuyuan helping Lifei by exchanging pointers! And she was so ready to train under his guidance!- Ji Tongzhou sending help from his faraway Yue state. Have you forgotten about him? Oh he is still present in her life, alright! When Lifei won the duel vs Xiuyuan's shijie, she was holding the artefact from Tongzhou, and Xiuyuan who gave her tips was looking at her gladly from the side. This trio's unbreakable bond is so heartwarming!- Lifei becoming the NUMBER ONE strongest disciple of Wuyue Court (that's official!)- Xiuyuan being almost crippled by his shizun for obsessing over a girl- Everybody discovering Lifei's special pure spirit-attracting physique and her instantly becoming a target of many weirdos, the ominous elder of the Wuyue Court included- Lifei begrudgingly expressing gratitude to Xiuyuan!- The top disciples being sent to fight the demons who broke a seal, next episode is promising some more action!BUT MOST IMPORTANTLYFinally our main leads reconcile!Well, not officially, but at least they are able to cooperate. We not-so-suddenly discover that one of Lifei's biggest gripes with Xiuyuan was that he just can't stop doing everything ALONE. Judging by her words, she kinda understands that he betrayed her trust not so much because he had something to gain at her expense, but because he unilaterally deduced that it was the best course of action for the three of them. She actually wants him to change that one thing! Guys and girls, this is much less complicated than we thought! Come on, little Yuan, you have to change this stupid habit of yours and you will have a chance!

The more I watch this the more I wonder whoâs the manipulator. But I do have to say I donât 100% believe his actor friend when he says heâs just trying to be protective. He was a little bit overprotective & too much into his business.

CHASING LOVE EPISODE 6 REACTION: Grandma needs to be stopped and Song, Iâm boombastically side-eyeing you so hard right now.First of all, thank you to whoever decided to bless us with those numerous Mudmee close-ups this episode! That girl is absolutely charming, and her face card never declines. At least someone in this show consistently delivers joy. Now, letâs get into the mess.(1) The Netflix âMeddling Spreeâ Cinematic Universe. - First we had the momster-in-law in IN LOVE FOREVER, and now weâve got this bitter, "mata-pobre" (severely class-concious) grandmother in CHASING LOVE. Itâs like Netflix sat down and said, âHow can we make the most cartoonishly evil rich old lady possible?â Episode 6, and Iâm still asking: Where is the context?! Why does this woman hiss âNobility is everything!â like her life depends on it? Whatâs her backstory? A jaded, hardened woman like that needs an explanation. Was she scorned by a commoner? Did she grow up in some crumbling aristocratic family clutching at a title like a life raft? Because letâs be real, their family isnât even among the richest in the landâPiangâs last name couldnât even vouch for an unpaid restaurant bill! The irony is screaming, and yet Grandma is out there acting like sheâs guarding the royal bloodline. I need the show to give me something, because right now sheâs just a plot device in a pearl necklace.(2) Song, I am BEGGING you to make it make sense. - What is wrong with Song? Her ex left her, her twin killed herselfâthese are heavy, traumatic things. But what do they have to do with her hurting Piang over and over and over again through direct and indirect rejections? At this point, Iâm about to unsuspend my disbelief that thereâs any real chemistry between them. Honestly, since Episode 1, I donât see what the precociously charming Piang sees in this dry-as-a-board, zero-rizz, emotionally constipated woman, other than the fact that Piang surrendered her V-card to her. Song, if youâve actually started to grow feelings for Piang, then why not slap that class-ist (not homophobic but "matapobric") meddling grandma with the truth? Wouldnât it be delicious to watch Granny freeze mid-hiss when she realizes she probably has to call you âYour Highnessâ? Or are you just enjoying the sick little stick-and-carrot game? Dangling just enough affection and concern to get Piangâs hopes upâmaybe even get her into bed again and againâonly to crush her heart the moment circumstances donât suit you. Piang deserves better than being your emotional yo-yo.(3) Ple and Ploy are the only ones keeping me sane. - Can we take a moment for the one romance arc that actually makes sense? Ple and Ploy are communicating, theyâre cute, thereâs a natural progression. No weird hot-and-cold, no cartoon villain from a telenovela (yet). Every time theyâre on screen I breathe a sigh of relief because it feels like a normal GL couple, not a psychological endurance test.(4) Matmi and Rinâs beginning⊠and abrupt end. - Just as Matmi and Rin were starting, Grandmaâs meddling swooped in and murdered the vibe. What kind of grandmother sends spies after her own granddaughters? Itâs abhorrent, unreasonable behavior, and honestly, my blood pressure spikes every time she appears. Sending spies isnât âprotecting the family nameâ; itâs paranoid villainy. I canât even enjoy the budding sweetness because I know Grannyâs lurking around the corner ready to poison it all. With only two episodes left, Iâm genuinely not sure Iâll have the patience for Episode 8 if Episode 7 continues to not make sense. Chasing Love, youâre testing me. Mudpeeâs charm and the PlePloy arc are doing some heavy lifting, but Song better have a revelation fast or Iâm checking out.

This episode felt very slow as the focus was filming the series within and though our protagonist may have been acting out or channeling his feelings through making the series which I understand is the precept of the whole series but after a strong start I feel distant from the main leads the addition of a third makes it more confusing specially his role was just to show a fu**ing scene. I prefer watching the struggles these two are going through instead.

I understand theyâre here to film a BL series and thatâs how these two actors got together but I feel the show within the show is too long and not building enough foundation for the two main characters. If the series continues with this format I am concerned it will lose its intention.

In Love Forever Episode 3
0 people found this review helpful
All right folks, grab your emotional support plushie because Episode 3 of IN LOVE FOREVER had me spiraling between âAww, family goals!â and âSomeone call the authorities on this woman.â Here are my unhinged thoughts....---(1) The Family We All Deserve - Can we just take a moment to appreciate Neenâs entire family? When they sat down and basically said, âIf you two had genuinely fallen out of love because of mutual problems, weâd support a divorce. But youâre still head-over-heels and only one person is causing all the miseryâso no, divorce is not the solution,â I wanted to stand up and slow clap. FINALLY, a family in a GL that isnât clueless, homophobic, or absent. Instead, theyâre running a full-blown âOperation: No Divorceâ with the parents, the brother, even the grandparents pulling strings like a benevolent mafia. Itâs ridiculously sweet and makes my heart ache, because you can see how much Neen is loved and how hard theyâre fighting to protect a marriage she still desperately wants. Protect this family at all costs.(2) Enter the Momster from the Depths of Hell - And then we cut to Runchâs mother. Deep sigh. Iâm calling it now: this woman will go down in Thai GL history as one of the most venomous, despised characters ever. Sheâs right up there with Rakâs father in US and Ranyaâs mother in SHADOW OF LOVEâthat specific, gut-churning breed of antagonist who weaponizes family ties to destroy the protagonist. But Episode 3 left me screaming: WHY?! Am I asking for too much to get some context? What has Neen ever done to deserve this level of scheming? The momster isnât just being passively disagreeableâsheâs actively arranging for her own daughter to have a mistress. Sheâs trying to plant a third party into a still-breathing marriage. What kind of deep-seated evil or twisted motivation justifies that? Right now sheâs a cartoonishly vile force without a backstory, and I need the show to give me something so this hatred has layers. Otherwise sheâs just a plot device in a scarf, and Iâll still despise her, just a little less satisfyingly.(3) Runch, Honey, Youâre the Freakin' Problem - Runchâs personality is a genetic gift from her quiet, elegant fatherâever-patient, endlessly polite, never assuming the worst in anyone. Itâs beautiful, truly. But at what point does patience cross into complicity? Every episode, Runch does these grand, loving gestures to win Neen back. Sheâs soft, sheâs devoted, sheâs doing everything to show sheâs a loving wife⊠except stopping the diabolical force that keeps hurting her wife. Her motherâs manipulations are a wrecking ball swinging through their marriage, and Runch just stands there saying âplease stopâ with those puppy eyes while Neen gets battered. Until Runch draws a hard lineâuntil she puts her mother in her place or cuts off the toxic access completelyânothing will be resolved. The most frustrating part? She seems completely oblivious that her tolerance is the actual problem. The show is dangling that painful moment of awakening in front of us like a carrot, and Iâm simultaneously dying to see it and terrified sheâll never get there.---Final thought: I genuinely cannot figure out what IN LOVE FOREVER wants to be. A romantic comedy? A satirical drama skewering family obligations? A runaway train you canât look away from, even as it hurtles off the tracks? Right now itâs all three, stitched together with gorgeous cinematography and emotional whiplash. Iâll keep watching, probably while stress-eating, but if that momster doesnât get some consequences soonâand Runch doesnât grow a spineâI might need that divorce theyâre all fighting against just for my own mental health.

Meu coração ficou quentinho praticamente o episĂłdio inteiro, tirando as cenas que a velha aparecia pra me tirar do sĂ©rio. Ver as Runchneen se apaixonando de novo, ou o jeito que elas interagem sem ter o espĂrito obsessor da mĂŁe da Runch atrĂĄs delas pra perturbar Ă© tĂŁo lindo. JĂĄ preciso do prĂłximo.

was when Fu Yi Xiao recognized how shell-shocked Feng Sui Ge was (because of his sister's decision) and instead of leaving, she immediately went after him in concern. This immediate, instinctive care for him right then was a huge sign of their changing relationship. It's also notable that she doesn't seem to care one bit to learn that Xia Jing Shi is going to marry ML's sister. The psycho may be obsessed with her but she doesn't seem to care about him at all. You'd think it would penetrate her amnesia a bit if she did. I feel bad for the princess Xi Yang, though.

Wow, I feel so sorry for ChaeHa. He has to live with the belief that his father is a murderer, endured abuse from his uncle, gets bullied by everyone at work, and on top of all that, his boss TaeSeon seems determined to make his life even more miserable.Despite everything, he keeps moving forward. Heâs incredibly strong, and all I want to do is give him a hug. Please, TaeSeon, be the light at the end of ChaeHaâs dark tunnel.
