Great first episode

This episode was great. At the start, the love scene felt a bit artificial, but as the episode progressed, I really connected with the characters and their emotions. Both of the main leads, LingOrm, did a great job with their performances; their acting was superb, with the exception of that initial love scene. P’Runch’s mother also did a decent job portraying her character. Overall, I would give this episode a 9/10, losing a point only because it started with that artificial love scene.P’Runch – LingLing KwongN’Neen – Orm Kornnaphat

This just escalates

The phone conversation Haixia had with Mo Yungao made me think of what was said some episodes ago—that he's him and he's not. I think it is related to the madness that takes over—meaning they both have it, so that's why they are alike, but Haixia has Hailou as an anchor to help him keep his sanity, and that's where he's not like Mo Yungao. And this perfectly fits with the advice the Great Buddha gave to Hailou—to ignore all the terrible things his brother has done, thus letting the good in him still survive. 🥹🤔I think it's foreshadowing the arc their brotherly bond will give us. 🫣✨Hailou, always being the troublemaker and the least responsible of all three, now is the only one who can hold them all together—search for his brother and help calm his madness, and look for that someone to cure Haiqi's illness.😔 A huge responsibility on him to be the saviour of his family, so if they both still die after all his attempts to save them, it will be devastating not only for him, but for me as a viewer as well. 💔🥺Haiqi barely holds together, yet she's strong and doesn't want to make it any harder for Hailou, so she wouldn't let anyone, especially him, see her pain, so she cries quietly only when alone. 😢 Oh, our poor trio! 😭❤️

Didn't expect this plot twist

Oh, what a father Marquis Muyang is! I wouldn't wish such a father even on my enemy... 😒The situation with his sons was actually a great plot twist! 😲 I thought the Marquis preferred Qin Cang over Tianyang, but no... He actually just "tamed" him to use as his "bloodhound", and the bait was always fatherly love and public recognition as his son. At least now Qin Cang will know better, because I am quite sure he survived. The Prefecture's guards probably got medical attention in time to save him so they can interrogate him later. ☝️🤨Tianyang turning out to be a genuine brother was a nice twist too, and it just proves the theory (not mine) that he might be pretending to have that awful personality. I hope he and Qin Cang actually can develop a nice relationship later. 😌The reveal of who Qin Cang's mother is felt like a cover story to hide his real birth origins. Maybe it wasn't something for the Consort Dowager's ears to hear, so they used this version? Maybe he actually has some relation to the royal family? 🤔It gets clearer and clearer that Mingxi might be developing some deeper feelings for A'Li. Not sure if it's love, but adoration for sure. I wonder how that will turn out later... 😟I was really relieved A'Li and A'Yao's relationship wasn't ruined with those letters. They solved that quickly and even deepened their adorable marriage and bond. 😌🥰🤗Highlight of this episode:Xiuyao: "Where did you go?"A'Li: "I... went to fight."Xiuyao: "Where? Why?"A'Li: "A brothel." 😂🤣

Toto Really Flew Across the World Just to Apologize

I cannot with this show.Who buys a plane ticket, goes through immigration, checks in for a flight, and flies all the way there just to apologize to his flight attendant crush... only to realize he has no money for a return ticket afterward?Toto is an absolute disaster, and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible.I completely lost it when Toto dropped to his knees begging Kanit for forgiveness. The scene was already chaotic enough, but then a random passenger walked by and looked absolutely horrified, clearly thinking Toto was doing something very different down there. I laughed so hard I had to pause the episode. This series somehow balances romance, secondhand embarrassment, and pure comedy perfectly. Every episode leaves me smiling, laughing, and immediately wanting to watch the next one.It is ridiculous, addictive, and impossible not to love. I am having the best time watching this chaos unfold.

A Love Written in Sacrifice and Sorrow

After the heartbreaking ending of our first historical BL, *Kill to Love*, my heart would not stop pounding. I was nervous through every moment of the final episode, as if I already knew the pain that was waiting for me but could not look away. The farewell kiss shattered me. Pei Yan Zhi chose sacrifice over his own happiness, giving up the future he longed for so that the Fifth Prince could live on, carry his dreams forward, and find peace. It was an act of love so pure that it felt almost unbearable to witness.Yet the cruelest wound came afterward. When the Fifth Prince finally learned the truth, he would have traded everything for the man he loved. The throne, the kingdom, the destiny that had been placed upon his shoulders meant nothing compared to a single chance to remain by Pei Yan Zhi's side. He did not want a crown. He wanted him.The finale was everything I hoped for and everything I feared. Beautiful and devastating in equal measure. Every glance, every promise, every sacrifice lingered like a ghost long after the screen faded to black. The love they shared was not loud or simple. It was the kind of love that endures suffering, chooses sacrifice, and survives even when fate is merciless. It was tender enough to heal a wounded heart and tragic enough to break it all over again. As Chinese BL stories continue to bloom in 2026, releasing week after week, we are incredibly fortunate to witness such beautiful tales. But after *Kill to Love*, I find myself yearning for another historical romance capable of leaving the same ache in my chest.I am still in tears. Some stories end, yet their sorrow remains behind like falling petals carried by the wind. Pei Yan Zhi and the Fifth Prince may have been separated by fate, but their love feels eternal, written somewhere beyond kingdoms, beyond power, beyond life itself. And perhaps that is why it hurts so much. The story is over, but my heart has not yet learned how to say goodbye.

Running into the ex and running away from the suitor

Qian Fei was given her orders for the meeting. To talk as little as possible and to listen and learn. She would have been fine with that but to see Ms Liao and her ex walk in the room was a bit overwhelming for her. He was as shocked as she was. Unfortunately a colleague told her to toast Mr Wang. YiFei to,d her she didn’t have to, but she was determined to get it all over with. She not only toasted him but Ms Liao. Ms Fang was very unhappy and YiFei tried to bail her out by presenting tea toasts since still working. Qian Fei would not listen and downed three glasses. She then started off the meeting questioning why their accounts didn’t match up and did Mr Wang have an answer. Here Yi Fei again tries to bail her out and said it was all to be discussed at the meeting after the meal anyways. Ms Fang further points it to his company and that Qian Fei was working for him. In another scene gamer friend is waiting for the receptionist to get off work so he can eat with her. He is so extra and not in a good way. He doesn’t have mean intent at all but his actions come across as aggressive and stalker ish. He has waited half the day and now that it’s almost time for him to get noticed and share food, a security guard shows his pic to her and says she can exit the back door instead of he bothered her…so she did and should have. I can’t sympathize with him when he acts the way he does and can’t say lack of experience excuses him. Qian Fei is loudly yelled at by Ms Fang and rescued by Yi Fei. She did not start her OCD cleaning thing til she was meeting with them after a chat with a colleague. Maybe this is her de stresser for things that makes her ill at ease. Yi Fei is not as smooth as he fancies himself but did get the girl anyways lol So no Qian Fei is his assistant at work and he is her ‘master’ at home. 🤣😂 He took great joy with reminding her. 🤣 When cornered about knowing her ex would be there he challenged her if she would have worked so hard to get on Ms Fang’s team had she known. He told her work should matter more because it never disappointed. 🤣 Her ex and Ms Liao were cozy and they shared words personally and professionally. She has to accept that the fond memories of him with her would be traits he would now give others. She is not as over him as she says, but maybe this push will steel her up with dealing with him at the office. Qian Fei’s friends treat her to a meal and her friend uses the same argument YiFei did. She can take it better from this source and she finally gets to hear about their engagement. Yi Fei finds dinner in the fridge and he even checks with her if she’s eaten. He gleefully heats it up while she’s out with friends. Qian Fei mentioned to her friend that his company accounts are being viewed and she noted they did not look good. She also encouraged him that if they were kept by the hotel anyways, that meant they were valued. Qian Fei deserves a good day, but her temper has her on bad footing now with everybody but YiFei. He won’t mind this situation nearly as much as she will. I’m glad this encounter is over with and story can move along rather than the drama.

Calm before storm

The Marquis is telling his son to leave til things quiet down. He even starts the same way he did for Qin how he had everything planned for him. His son challenges him with the question if he would be killed if ever in the way. He has every right to challenge his father. Maybe now he will grow up to be less of a wretch. 😝 The Marquis orders him to go home but 50/50 son will comply. When she gets back from the shop Xiu Yao admits he looked at the letter box and peeked inside. She surprises him by bringing the box over and letting him see all but the bottom two letters. They were all music compositions she thought he would enjoy being away from the school. Ye Li and Xiu Yao are very cute being playful. This was exactly what Su Zuidi needed to see. They ‘accidentally’ run into Ms Wen and guest. The timing seems rather planned by the guest.😝 she was sure they would be more like strangers and got confirmation that Ms Wen’s opinion was more accurate. Her slow sad talk to Ms Wen was so fake and annoying.😡 Her bringing up Xiu Yao’s mother and special preparations for dessert were a bit much. I like that Xiu Yao offered his wife first bite. There was no way she would eat it, but the attention was given to the right woman at the table and the other two noted it. 😝Usually calls from work are aggravating, but the Prince was more than happy to be called away to report to the office.😂 Ye Li shrewdly let her unwanted guest know where her family members were located so she would no longer be lonely. Or, if serving the princess she should do that well. She knows the gig is up with the wife and leaves. Her carriage is blocked so she chooses to walk back. She runs into the same drunkard that knocked her down earlier and repays that slight with a dagger in the belly. Ye Li gives Fei Bai some first aid and asks if he’s found master Zhu. He tells her he’s returned to the academy and she seems happy and satisfied at that response. I hope soon we get to see what he saw at Lishan school and his opinion of events. Ye Li has her next plan in the works. She checks on the time and date of a solar eclipse and wants her uncle to get the consort out of the palace. She has it timed so she is available to assist the consort from her carriage. Feng the spy meets with his penpal and he uses that double sided coin with her. Too bad he is completely unaware he has won her over in spite of himself. 🤣 She continues her male disguise and he is unhappy she hasn’t fessed up to being a girl. Xiu Yao is called to check up on him and listens to his lament for a reasonable time. When he is chided about not giving advice, Xiu Yao responds that if he liked her to let her know early as he walked out the door. 🤣 When he gets home he finds Ye Li asleep and carries her to bed and the episode ends. Dragons, rain and edict news coming up. I hope the enemy Ye Li is referring to is not her spouse as this preview implies. 🧐😬

A Double Episode of Love, Loyalty, and Legendary Cluelessness

How ironic that in one family, the older brother is completely oblivious, while in the other, the younger brother is the one who cannot see what is right in front of him.Singha has had Ben by his side for years. A loyal bodyguard, a constant shadow, a man who has quietly loved him for more than a decade. Yet Singha remains utterly clueless, never realizing that Ben's devotion runs far deeper than duty. Then there is Suea, who has spent more than six years loving Nao. And somehow, Nao is just as hopelessly unaware. The funny part is that everyone else can see it. North, clumsy as he is, took one look across a soccer field and immediately understood Suea's feelings. Nao's own twin brother knows. Practically the entire world seems to know except Nao himself. So we end up with this amusing parallel: in the mafia family, the older brother is the oblivious one, while in the other family, the younger brother is equally blind to the truth. Two different stories reflecting each other in the most chaotic way. What a wild double episode. The only part that feels a little hard to believe is how quickly someone who has always considered himself straight suddenly starts trying to navigate feelings for his best friend after a confession. For years, girls were the ones he noticed, the ones he thought were cute. Then his best friend confesses, and now he is genuinely considering dating him. It is a dramatic shift, though feelings and self-discovery can sometimes be far more complicated than people expect.Still, that is part of what makes the story entertaining. Between Singha being oblivious to Ben's decade-long love and Nao somehow missing six years of Suea's devotion, this felt like a double episode built entirely on beautiful, ridiculous cluelessness. And honestly, it was a lot of fun seeing North in this double episode. Even amid all the confusion, misunderstandings, and unspoken feelings, he brought an extra layer of charm and humor that made the whole thing even more enjoyable.

Macabre Symphony

I think Bai Yu can be turned against the Mo faction. Her interaction with disguised Hailou was quite funny. 🤭 At least their mission was successful! 😏And Haixia dealt with the Mo men beautifully with their own medicine. It looked like he actually has embraced his dark side and savours the sound of the agony around him like a delightful symphony.... 😲 Oh, Shrimpie!

A Love Worth Waiting For

After nine long episodes, the wait finally is over with a kiss that felt both tender and electric. When Xu Yuan softly whispered, “Let me do it, you’re injured,” it was a moment filled with quiet devotion. But Zhan Wang, despite the pain, could no longer deny his heart, pulling his lover close as every longing they had held back finally found its voice. The morning after was just as beautiful. Wrapped in each other’s embrace, their gentle cuddles spoke of comfort, safety, and a love that needed no words. The second couple was equally wonderful. With him no longer working at the school and both of them now adults, their love could finally stand in the light. Sharing a fearless kiss in front of the school felt like a quiet declaration that love deserves to be seen, a beautiful reminder that the bravest hearts are the ones that choose love without fear.
