gurl what!!! the way i was wondering during the beginning of the episode where exactly this one and the next one will take us!!! i'm glad for the joseon era callback. i was afraid that it would be tied up once seori realized who she really was because why else would she have any reason to go back or think of the joseon era and then the writer hits us with this!! diabolical but i obviously don't hate it.this episode was a lot better than ep 12 in terms of pacing and things happening and our couple getting both sweet and somber moments. i am a little confused at how easily they wrapped up mo tae-hee's purpose. i mean it's not like she ever had real feelings for him which was obvious from how she saw him as a status symbol/means to an end, so getting even more profit from a simple partnership with him vs having to marry a guy who doesn't even like you... it makes sense but i think we could have done a little more there.the aunts getting dust made me laugh like. i am glad that segye didn't give them the time of the day because in terms of usefulness they have absolutely zero to offer him. which goes back to segye's mindset that he only thinks of people in terms of allies or enemies. mo tae hee might have pissed him off earlier but she's useful and resourceful. his aunts just have shoddy business ability AND scandals.i liked the juxtaposition between segye's grandfather and seori's grandmother. they both care for their grandchildren, and they both went in such different ways to express that affection. segye's grandfather being pissed off that segye refuses to come to heel and then takes out his anger in ways that even he and mun-do acknowledge were messed up vs seori's grandmother who took seori in and raised her with all the love and care in the world. AND did the same to danshim presumably while danshim was in seori's body. speaking of danshim, i wonder if the hint of the past that hte shaman saw means that danshim will go back and live a life she likes aka being a peddler? that is i'm sure danshim will come up at some point, though hopefully not a major part of the finale. anyway im seated and excited to see how this ends. my god.

At the beginning of the episode Xiu Yao and He Li have sweet couple time. After a nap she makes him bbq. He says sweet husband words and lets her know others may consider Ms Su beautiful, but that for him, no other woman existed that could outshine her. š„° I think he passed her exam.š Empress dowager and consort chat about XianKun. The consort tells her how much she believes in her master and her. There is something just a bit off with her look and immediately handing off the gift without really looking at it. She then has a chat with her son who is annoyed with reading worthless stories based in superstition. His mother teaches him with examples that superstition can be used to oneās advantage if spun correctly. Xiu Yao tells Ye Li he has to leave the capital for 4-5 days because Jin Chang is actually alive and he is gathering evidence. They learned an old Marquisā confidante that was supposedly executed is actually nearby and handling weapon smuggling so Xiu Yao and others head out to capture him while they wait for Qin to become conscious. Ye Li proved to her uncle and consort that their master was a fake with the disappearing dragon trick. She pointed out celestial events from his time and repeated them. Her uncle wanted to know her purpose and it was that sheād promised general Wen and her mother she would clear the Ding name. She is not wavering from that objective. There is a prison scene where the consort is told to get the edict and hide it without the Empress dowager ever knowing she had it. That it implicated the Empress dowager, Marquis and Ding family. She was to keep it safe because one day it could save her. because there will be a day it saves her life iFeng the spy is happy because his girl will meet him in seven days. She had been married and she doubted his interest if he knew her past. Once that was cleared up Feng was singing in the rain happy to claim the woman he loved. Wait til he finds out she is the visiting princess. š Ms Su enters a shop where they speak in code and she enters a secret room to meet with Han Mingyue. They are plotting to cause trouble between Cangbai and Dachu so the peace talks will fail. He is jealous of her past sweetheart Prince but she says heās her enemy. The Empress dowager is reading and handed a book of hibiscus poems. When the words on a leaf are read she wants it shut. and when another was passing her the poems about hibiscus, she demanded it to be shut. The consort chats with the Empress dowager and the reminisce about less happy days when the Empress mistreated them. XianKun rescued her and introduced her to Empress dowager and assured the consort that if she stayed by her side, her life would be happy and blessed. She asked about Empress Dowagerās childhood name and it is Furong. (Hibiscus) She leans in the Empress dowager and what should be a touching scene doesnāt feel like it. The Empress dowager told her to leave the past in the past and that the way things are now is the present and future. In the preview they have set up the princess and Ye Li. It is so obvious the dagger is placed in Ye Liās hand.šš”

Just saying, your man would never put this much effort and time into you, by the way. I WANT NEW BADDDDD. I am low-key so obsessed with this show, I cannot even lie. Mond, this is not even your man. Why are we so angry? IM HOLLERIN. He is doing this for the love of the game right now. I think the crazy part about this is that he is not even friends with the guy who got cheated on. He is just doing this for the love of the game. Because why? New is trying so hard not to laugh lmao. The guy in the back of the theater passed out has me dead. COMMENT ON THE NOSE JOB WAS CRAZYYY. Aweeee he had a crush on him in high school, and now hes a hoe. Sing it, babbyyyy. How is the restaurant letting them get away with this? Lmaoo. He got caught, and he is still lying to you, bro. They are having too much fun with this. Just lost both your hoes in the span of like four minutes. If he cheated to get with you, he is going to cheat on you again. Why are we about to kill ourselves when we are men? Wait jk thats gnarly. ļæ¼fuckkkk. I KNOW SOMEONE WHO WOULD NEVER TREAT YOU LIKE THAT BY THE WAY. OKAY BYE!ļæ¼

I thought Deng Yi would live. At one point where his and A'Zhao's eyes met, I thought they had been in cahoots all this time and he was there just to infiltrate and betray Xiao Xun... But I guess not? So there goes the secret with the "ghost" boy..... šš¤·āāļøOne moment when he asked for that token I thought Yanfang was about to try and kiss Zhao... maybe I misread the scene, but the words "Don't you dare, Yanfang!" still came out of my mouth, lol. š And kudos to A'Yu for the bravery to stand tall against all those grown men. š„¹And I knew, I knew A'Jiu would come and save A'Zhao at the very last second before capture. It's the last episode next, after all... That reunion was needed like bread to a starving man. š¤ā¤ļø

Lom's entire life was taken away in this series. She doesn't seem to be in love; she seems like a widow crying over a lost love.

Chasing Love Episode 4 delivers one of the series' biggest reveals yet and offers some genuinely sweet moments between Song and Piang. But while the story is finally moving toward its strongest material, uneven pacing and emotional moments that end too soon continue to hold the romance back. We break down the royal reveal, the adaptation changes, why Song's emotional journey still feels incomplete, and what the series needs to do to stick the landing in its second half. Prince Ding's search for the blue-eyed assassin leads him to the Ye Mansion, where he saves Ye Li from herself. It looks like she has perfected the art of compartmentalizing. She even keeps certain hurtful things from herself. I truly don't know what Prince Ding thinks of his wife's strange behavior?

CHASING LOVE EPISODE 4 feels like a hodgepodge of GAP (the meddling grandma arc), ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS (the FWB development), LOVE BEYOND DREAMS (the "tabletop love" feels)⦠and somehow, inexplicably, itās all working. I sat down expecting a SongPiang-focused emotional check-in and ended up with a whole three-ring circus of romantic chaos, and honestly? Iām strapped in and applauding. What makes this episode genuinely interesting is that it finally stretches its legs beyond the SongPiang narrative. Donāt get me wrong, I adore watching Piangās quiet, stubborn devotion crash against Songās walls like a very polite yet raucous rich-kid wave, but giving the other pairings room to breathe turns this into a proper ensemble piece. The PloyPle angle is sprouting right before our eyes ā that specific blend of bickering familiarity and unspoken āI would absolutely pine for you if you stopped arguing with me for five secondsā energy. And the MudmeeRin plot twist? I didnāt see it landing that way, and now Iām squinting at every shared glance, rewinding scenes, and whispering āoh, so THATāS why you flinched.ā The showās stitching multiple types of love together ā grudging, secret, tender, and fierce ā and it finally feels like a full, messy, beautiful tapestry instead of a single thread. That said, I need to address the lab coat in the room. Songās competition for Numero Uno researcher acts like an arrogant rockstar, not a serious scientist! This man struts into the 126 Food Corp facility like heās headlining a stadium tour, tossing his hair and delivering research findings with the smirk of someone who thinks a microscope is an accessory. Sir, you develop food products, not chart-topping albums. I wouldnāt eat anything his team developed if you paid me in limited-edition merchandise. Haha haha haha haha ā the laugh is genuine, but so is the second-hand embarrassment. The audacity is so thick it could be a new flavor prototype, and Iād spit it out immediately. Every time he opens his mouth, I mentally file a complaint with HR. Song, please destroy him with cold, hard data and a gentle, devastating smile. Thatās the real rockstar move. And yet, beneath all the mishmash and the cheeky scientist-roasting, thereās something deeply warm simmering in this episode. Itās the way Mudmee and Rinās tentative, snarky dance reminds me that love sometimes hides in the spaces where you least expect to be seen. Itās the PloyPle twist cracking open a door I didnāt even know was locked, making my heart ache for a story that was hiding in plain sight. Itās Piang, still holding that tabletop like a relic, still fighting a grandma who thinks she knows best, and Song standing there with her heart in her hands, patient as the sunrise. Iām getting sentimental because, under all the borrowed tropes, Chasing Love is starting to feel like it actually understands that love isnāt just the chase ā itās the stumbling, the cross-referencing, and the accidental discoveries along the way.So yes, Episode 4 is a little bit of everything, and maybe it shouldnāt work, but it does. Itās cheeky without losing its warmth, messy without losing its heart. Iām fully invested now, not just in who ends up together, but in how each version of love learns to stand up and say its own name out loud. And if that arrogant rockstar researcher gets a tray of beakers dropped near his designer loafers next week, I wonāt complain. Just saying.

I can see clearly what caused the rift between Ye Li and her father's family. We get snippets of the truth but I can't wait for all of it. She was so young when she dealt with the evils her family did, then she was confined in the mountains -- perfecting her revenge.

One surprising thing this episode was Ms Liaoās opinion of account discrepancy being brought to light at project meeting. She was all for improprieties being taken care of before she took over company. She had a very different outlook than her dad and a surprisingly good opinion of Qian Feiās capabilities. She has read the room far more correctly than her bf because he bought into the rumor her dad shared and believes Qian Fei would be that petty professionally. Her abrupt exposure of his work faults does make his case to go there, but they had dated for years and had wedding plans. His only grief with her was her never ending acts of kindness. He should recognize bs when he hears it where sheās concerned.š I am not sure if her colleague tried to set her up when sending her to find three harder to get meds. He hollered at her because he knew they were expecting it. It is kinda funny that Ms Fang knew where the sushi came from and jumped to her own conclusions about Qian Fei. Iām disappointed in her character because I didnāt think she was so shallow a mentor/boss. š I think YiFei got a kick out of her enjoyment and laughed internally when her mouth is overstuffed with food denying hunger.š¤£š It is fun watching them bargain over chores. He gets out of the dishes to be the driver. Ms Fang is also noting that. Her bias has to be because of the photo, but if sheās not checking up on everybody, she should keep her nose out of Qian Feiās business. She was the only one for both reports that had anything valid to say.šš I might have to call gamer guy the failure to launch son.š¤£šHe gets woke up by security guard with chocolate smears on his face and told no longer welcome in the building without an appointment. Even his mom has heard about his banishment from a relative on cleaning staff. He already has a solution by volunteering to check fire safety in their building. Fortunately for Qian Feiās friend, heās not on her floor. He looked so crestfallen as he watched her take inspection group while he had to continue up. He needs to stop listening to YiFei because heās getting all the wrong advice. Qian Fein found in her studies that YiFei worked out some data that was used as a model for teaching. She is surprised and he gained some cool points for that. Which he immediately tossed away with his taunt to her pretending to be adding data. š I think Mr Liao has the right estimation of her daughterās new bf. He is putting on the pretense of providing opportunities and pointed out how well Qian Fei took advantage of. Since he doesnāt know her, he spread the rumor she used any means necessary to show up somebody rather than due diligence from hard work. I think if he realized all the debt Wang left Qian Fei, he would have bought him a one way ticket to anywhere else on the planet to be gone. šYi Fei needs to give Qian Fei a real job and not this crap that makes Ms Fang keep judging her. ššYi Fei was having to do some damage control to get his company back into better graces. Here is rich boy attitude serves him well.

I liked this episode. As a mature person, it showed intimacy in everyday life. The quiet moments. Not every day is full of intense passion. Sometimes connection is simple and this episode showed that. Young viewers may not like it but it is essential to any relationship and to character development. I love these two men and this series. And this quiet episode was beautiful.

In Love Forever Episode 1

My thoughts on the first five minutes of IN LOVE FOREVER⦠I still ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø Linglingās face. The way the light hits her, itās like the cinematographer also has a crush, and honestly, valid. Ormās character, I hope she stays strong and doesnāt cry so much (like she did in TSOU and OY)⦠but knowing these two and the way they weaponize every single tear, Iām already stocking up on tissues. Lingās mother in TSOU was the gorgeous Um Apasiri Nitibhon; whoever was in that photograph in OY was beautiful too; her momster in ILF is something else! She didnāt just enter the scene, she oozed in like a slime-clad poison, leaving a trail of fiery fury and icy disappointment. Iām obsessed. Terrified. Deeply entertained. But let me gather myself because Iāve now devoured the whole episode, and my heart is doing that wobbly, slightly over-steeped tea feeling ā warm but dangerously close to bitter if things go wrong.Episode 1 is promising, and the central conflict has me chewing on my own fist. We have Runch, a woman whose love for her wife is so pure it practically glows, yet her entire soul is tangled in barbed wire made of filial piety. That mother is an emotional maximum-security prison, and Runch keeps visiting voluntarily, bringing flowers. Itās not just āmum isnāt supportiveā; itās a full-blown, generational manipulation banquet where love is served in control-sized portions and Runch has been conditioned to ask for seconds. The āmomsterā vase drop was perfect because it shows she isn't s a cartoon villain ā sheās the kind of mother who can shatter her daughter with a single, arched eyebrow; then make Runch thank her for the pain. I want to hug Runch and also gently shake her, whispering, āBabygirl, your duty does not require your destruction.āThen we have Neen, the nepo baby wife from the open-minded family ā and can I just say, how refreshing it is to see a family that treats their daughterās marriage as a joy and not a scandal? Neenās parents probably have a framed wedding photo next to the Buddha shelf, offering incense for the coupleās everlasting happiness. Sheās been raised with love that expands, not love that contracts into obligation. Watching her beam at Runch, so ready to build a life while unknowingly competing with a phantom mother-in-law who keeps moving the goalposts, makes me both swoon and preemptively ache. The cheeky part of me adores that Neenās sunshine energy is so powerful, itās practically a supernova facing a black hole of mother-in-law doom. But the sentimental part sees her wide-eyed, hopeful smiles, and thinks, āOh, sweet girl, youāre in a boxing ring with a velvet glove and you donāt even know youāre bleeding.āThe push and pull is so painfully real. Filial piety isnāt just obligation; for Runch, itās identity. Saying ānoā to that mother feels like cutting off her own roots, even if those roots are wrapped around her throat. And honest love with Neen is the oxygen she never knew she needed. When theyāre together, Runchās face softens into something that says, āThis is the real me, the one youāve watered into blooming.ā Iām rooting so hard for that version of her to grab the steering wheel and never let go.If Runch and Neen do get divorced, Iād be so sad. Not just a little sad, but ālying on the floor staring at the ceiling while the OST plays on loopā sad. Iām not exaggerating ā the thought of Neen packing her things while Runch stands frozen in the doorway, her motherās voice still echoing in her bones, would genuinely wreck me. This show has already planted a tiny seed of dread beneath the romance, because the title is In Love Forever, and we all know that forever in drama is bought with struggle and sometimes a devastating separation before the final sunrise. I need the writers to know I am emotionally fragile and will accept nothing less than true love winning. Let the monster be tamed or at least forced into a timeout corner. Let Runch choose herself, which means choosing Neen, and let their marriage be a stubborn, beautiful rebellion that says, āLove is not a debt you owe your parents.āSo yeah, after episode 1, Iām in. Cheekily I say: bring on the mother-daughter drama, because I love to suffer in gorgeous lighting. Warmheartedly I whisper: please, let these two hold on. The world is hard enough without Runch and Neen losing each other to a woman who weaponizes guilt like a samurai sword. True love, the kind that respects you, frees you, and makes you laugh even when youāre scared ā that should win. Iām lighting a candle, offering a snack to the drama gods, and sitting here ready to scream, cry, and cheer for all eleven episodes. Letās go, In Love Forever. Make it worth my tons of tears.

I just love how wholesome A'Li and A'Yao's relationship is. He wanted to feed her and held her hand while they were sitting there with Zuidie. And that's a statement and reassurance from him... It's quite rare to see such a main couple in a historical drama, I think. Usually, there's something that is making them break up or argue a lot. This is a very nice difference. āØš„°But Zuidie killing that drunkard so coldly just because he pushed her? That girl might have mental problems, I think. š¬As it looks, the Marquis maybe actually cared about Qin Cang on some level, but well... he showed that care in a very wrong way. And now there is no turning back... sorry, man! āļøš¤·āāļøšAnd Feibai returned finally! The expression on his face when he looked at Ye Li... I wonder what he learned up there on the mountaināare they really dead? I suppose so. But maybe he learned something more. š¤Øš„ŗ And Mingxi being jealous of Feibai? Ehh... š¤Highlight: Xiuyao's aide thinking Feng Zhiyao was into men... šš¤£
