The Rebel Princess Episode 36

OH, I have not finished the episode, but the way my jaw dropped at the beginning of this episode. There is nothing better than a character who is both noble and flawed. And my little crush on General Song has now played against me in the best possible way. Now I am drawn into the feeling of betrayal and shame. This series is just damn good- despite the fact that it gives me deep anxiety because I hate meddling rumour bitches and liars.

One thing I love about this episode that I'm not sure is mentioned enough is the way that the 'villain' of the story, the Grand Tutor, is allowed to have win. I feel that that is very rare in stories where the villain is still wrong and is shown to have still done horrible things but is also right in some ways and allowed to have victory. I feel that most stories would have him be unable to achieve anything and stories typically would never allow the heroes to even HELP the villain achieve their goals. It is so interesting how this story allows characters to be gray, while also not completely absolving them of their sins. Many stories nowadays when they create morally gray villains have to make them completely sympathetic to the audience rather than still having them be awful and manipulative people while also sometimes being right. I love that this story had the gall to make a morally gray character who actually was both right and wrong, depending on the situation.

where to start - am kinda over Phatsa & the pity party he keeps throwing himself, it's like he is so bored in that house he keeps searching for reasons to get butthurt & it's kinda tedious the amount of handholding both Nakhun & his mother gotta do with this moron & if that wasn't enough, the water-works r a major turn-off. ironically all the bottom's r attention whores (sorry not sorry) what is Ongsa's deal?!? but i kinda don't get what went on between him & Nakhin in the 1st place. from the little we got, i assumed Ongsa was so distraught about Phatsa getting bitten or going into heat, that the only way to calm him was for Nakhin to b*tch-slap him &(?) f*ck him ?!??? & he enjoyed it so much, that now he is declaring his undying love - while his father is planning to wed him to the "True Omega" - kinda hilarious if u ask me ,all the plans men make... **********************************btw how come Papa Devathitirat doesn't know the True Omega's identity until now, while the guys that tried to kidnap Phatsa, knew a few min's after his results popped-up on the hospital comp - weird. ********************************************************oh almost forgot about Sangnuea legging it the sec he saw Naphitch outside the café, here i thought he targeted him at the club cause he knew who he was & was planning to get bitten by a "Devathitirat" - i.e money, someone of status, that even if there wouldn't be love between them, he could live in luxury. guess there was more to whatever went on between them (as am sure the girl who approached Naphitch 1st & spilt the drink on him was intentional). now the big question is why, what were they planning?!??? & why Sangnuea running now. ***********************************************************************************side note: i really liked Amintra in this ep, loved her interaction with Nakhin & liked her even more cause of how antagonistic she was towards Phatsa (yes i don't like him much).

Cant hold myself back, I need a place to rant anyway and im already here so.. 😌Yep I was waiting for this, as cute or even cuter by the roles reversal a Silly Goose Chu Kong😝 × Cunning Fox Xiangyun🥰 OMG where has this dynamics been all my life. Xiangyun and her antics are as adorbs as always, Chu Kong being as free and relaxed like Lu Changkong is actually such a treat and them paired together is perfection, no notes here🧑🍳💋✨. Guess what, even 30.000 years back Xiuming obsession is still one sided why is this guy so annoying bruh, At this point he's just bugging Xiangyun. No one needed his irrelevant ass in every timeline🤦 NOT A SINGLE SOUL.

I’ve enjoyed the series so far but this episode bothered me due to just a few things: the period series using a modern hospital setting was so obvious they couldn’t even mask it or use an older building. They have been good so far and this is a challenge for period series. And I question the Director how he guided Pond to act like he has Turret’ Syndrome, maybe because I’ve seen him mostly is a calm role but he’s outside of his comfort zone in my personal opinion. There are amazing character actors who can definitely play this role much more convincingly instead of being irritating.

A huge improvement seen in this episode. I just hope finale stick the landing or else this show will easily fly under the radar as an underwhelming show.

Very much building the main, secondary, and third couples in this episode, i thought i would find it slow but i'm here for it! This one really made me wish i could speak Thai, as there were a few scenes that felt a bit stilted but i think it was subtitle spacing rather then the production or acting.I'm obsessed with this show, all in for Nakhun and Phatsa, but i actually like the interactions between Phatsa and Napitch as well, its a really interesting dynamic being built.A lot around being an outsider or feeling like an outsider in this episode as well which adds some depth to the characters. Just loving everything in this show, but the next episode preview has me wishing for next Tuesday. I don't think i've ever been excited for a Tuesday before, i'd almost be tempted to book it off work if it weren't for the fact the show is out 5pm my time so i'd just spend all day waiting for 5pm anyway, i can do that at work! :DPlease watch this show!

This episodes is full of emotions for me. There are some scenes where i am giggling and then i traumatise. I am not prepared for the cliffhanger. Now i can't wait for the next episode and 7 days is always too far.

A female minister lead with Wu Jin Yan in the main role seems like a dream come true, no less because the female lead in the book seems quite serious and reserved. The drama has already changed her personality into more mischievous. Only time will tell if that works here or not. While the introduction to these characters is intriguing enough, the directing and production seem quite rough and unfinished. The fight scene cuts jump strangely and a character will stand differently after every cut even though it's supposed to show the same moment, simply with the perspective changed. I hope this becomes less of an issue simply due to the story focusing on the court rather than the battlefield. The actors are clearly trying but if somebody told me each character were from another drama, I would believe them. I hope the editing gets progressively better.

So glad to see some of my old favorites. Love how the rivalry is set up between the two mls. It moved at a good pace and the acting seemed natural.

There were a couple of tiny glitches, but for the most part this was the first episode where Shi Yan behaved for the whole episode like an actual human instead of a sullen petty robot. It was refreshing to have Shi Yan and Shu Yi move in a forward direction with both their personal and professional relationship with (at least for this episode) no more stupid contrived misunderstanding tropes. Hopefully this is a turning point going forward?

One of the very rare dramas where the romance scene between secondary characters also steal your heart. Love the pairings ,the dynamic that the main ML's friend/colleague and the main FL's friend shares settles all the warm/cold thirst-trap, angsty, desire... of course our important couple Woo Su-bin and Ju I-jae steals the show but these two come pretty close too. And with the relationship between the famous actress and background actor it is very sweet too with how the female took the initiative... . This show has truly some of the most cutesy, loveable matches.
