i was looking forward for Arthit & Daotok's romance & this kinda was meeh... 1st off Arthit an utter douche & until now he wasn't like this, yeah he was the bad-boy of the group, but he was easy going & fun even if he liked to tease his buddies about the guys they were crushing on. here he is just mean & unlikeable - while Daotok's not just an introvert he comes off fragile & even if he knew how to handle Arthit. idk i don't really feel them together they not just opposites attract they extremes, more like oil & water that just don't mix. ***************************************************************************************************also i get that from the start of this season we knew that Daotok is able to communicate with ghosts, but suddenly Arthit got this ability when there wasn't even a mention of this in season 1?? hope the next ep gets better cause this was a let down -

I am confused now.

I am very confused after this episode! On one hand, we have the clear villain Lai Luozhi, but on the other—what if he is just a pawn in someone else's game? What did that "Hoe" mark on his chest actually mean?I feel like they resolved the Musician case too quickly; it felt a bit too easy. And then the Empress Dowager suddenly falls ill and hands all that power to Lai Luozhi? Her illness definitely doesn't feel natural. I thought she might be weakening from grief, but now I’m not so sure.So many people seem suspicious now, especially Lai Luozhi’s sister and Princess Runming. I’m hoping the next episode gives us answers about Lai Luozhi’s mother.I have to confess: even though Lai Luozhi is the villain, I felt compassion for him in this episode. All evil deeds aside, his loneliness is palpable. Dealing with that kind of isolation can warp a person's character, and it seems he’s filling that void with an insatiable greed for power. Kudos to Mao Zi Jun—he is playing this conflicted villain brilliantly!

Too many SL scenes with FL

Why did the writers create so many stories about SML and FL? Were they (the writers) instructed by the production company or was it their own desire?

Five Stars

What a way to start the episode, like wow this was cinematic peak.i freakin love this series, everything is so well depicted here, like even before the nc actually happen we can stil see that Qian isn't fully open to love him and he still has questions, but the way Yuan answers to any doubt that he may have, these men are made for each other. And Xiao Bao is funny af this girl deserves the world haha. i would have love to see a love story between the gang chief and the doctor (a man can dream...)But anyway the mixed feelings of Qian are so well depicted, Chris is such a good actor (the whole cast actually), he delivers great emotions.I really love this series like truly and this episode semented all type of emotions brillantly

Lai Luozhi - The Phantom of the Opera (or of the Palace in this matter)?

I cannot unsee Lai Luozhi as the Phantom of the Opera anymore! At first, he tried to befriend Chui Chui while hiding behind a mask. Then he revealed his true face—scaring her at first, but eventually gaining her acceptance as a secret friend. But once he realized she had fallen for someone else, his obsession kicked in. Now he has kidnapped her to hide her from the world in his "dungeon." He better not hurt our Chui Chui!To be fair, I suspect Lai Luozhi only made those moves against Yan Xing because Chui Chui rejected him. I know he has ambitious ulterior motives, but I don't think he would have acted this recklessly if Chui Chui had reacted differently to his confession.I truly hope the Empress Dowager isn't listening to him blindly. I hope she still doubts his words and is only acting along to understand why he is suddenly accusing people she respects. This episode was so intense! 😱

Yan Xing truly shined in this episode!

Yan Xing truly shined in this episode!Firstly, I have to praise her for the sword dance. It was such a smart move to force Lai Luoyan to reveal her martial arts skills in front of the members of the royal family. Secondly, her steady poise with the Empress Dowager was impressive; however, I couldn't tell if the royal lady was giving Yan Xing a friendly advice or a subtle warning at the end of their conversation. Thirdly, Yan Xing really held her ground with Zhang Xingwei. I felt so proud when I realized she actually did tell Shen Du she was going to her parents' house so they could deal with that man together.Zhang Xingwei seemed genuinely afraid of something—probably because he’s involved in this conspiracy somehow. But now, after all the cheerful and sweet moments we had in this episode, I am truly worried. I’m quite sure that Lai Luozhi won’t be happy about Chui Chui’s wedding!

Finally rid of gambling boyfriend

This episode shows that Noa’s bf has no shame. He begs Rin’s friend for cash for Noa’s mom’s surgery and gets dividend from some pyramid scheme. Then he shamelessly spends the money without paying his friend first and expected Noa to bail him out. He was not even man enough to just apologize.😝 She is well rid of him. I was annoyed she even bothered to shed tears for him. I am glad that her money was not accepted for debt payment and that he took his stuff and left. She needs to get lock changed so he can’t run to her to hide from his loan shark ‘friends’. Rin and Taiga spend entirely too much time on their phones 😂 Both are making progress in relationship and looking at realistic future options with work. I was sad that Taiga’s mentor wasn’t planning on having Taiga run the restaurant for him, but he did realize that Taiga could make a better future for himself if he was nudged along to consider other options. She is trying out a competition at work and he is looking into becoming a dietitian. They each are taking steps of better understanding each other and she was introduced to Japanese New Year customs. For Noa, this might be the first money she’s received in awhile that she will get to spend as she chooses. I want Rin’s friend to step in and start dating her. I have more hope for these two than main couple.

The chemistry at the end had me gagged

Honestly, a lot more was revealed than I thought would be. The nurse somehow knew damn near everything about seol-ah which I found funny after the doctor said he can't reveal patient information. Like, he's clearly revealing it to somebody. Also, the security at the auction building is ass. What do you mean you need a keycard to use the elevator and someone walks in and doesn't find it suspicious that he hasn't put in the floor he's going on yet, and him just casually hopping over the gate after the one security guard leaves for whatever reason. My take on Seol-ah is that she is clearly a very sensitive person based on how she reacted to Woo-Seok telling her her fiancé might have been cheating and her bestie suspecting her. I just think she's very good at hiding her emotions. I'm also wondering about her throwing up in the bathroom. It was after the lady gave her some fish and was looking at her all weird while she ate it, so i suspect she either didn't like it or thought something was wrong with it. My first thought was an eating disorder, ngl bcs Seol-Ah looks so skinny but that could just be the actress's personal problems. I also wonder why Yun-ji had Seol-ah's entire schedule written out and what that Unit 702 thing could mean. I just feel like we know a lot but clearly not enough, since there's 10 episodes left and I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of twists.
