Simple but effective

The first episode is pretty straightforward, but it works. It sets everything up clearly without trying to do too much. The dialogue feels natural from the start.

Three Stars

I wish people would communicate more. I really don't understand why there were no phones calls or text to each other and I ain't buying calls/texts not getting thru. On the plane for sure but after that, no way. I loved that TaeSoek said that I believe what I see and what I know about you when Hadam was accusing him. I mean she had a point but he's spot on in that assessment.

Five Stars

Pretty sad and intense episode. Tragically, believable, given all the factors leading to this point in the story. Even Ren Tian Zhen's stupid stunt at the end was consistent with his "do stupid impulsive thing without thinking of the consequences" behavior that has plagued his character all along. And sure enough it results in bad consequences for Sun Tou Tou after she exerts her body to the limit to save him. This was the most 'eventful' episode of the series in quite a long while but the only unbelievable part was that the bungee platform was left unlocked but unattended. That part requires the viewers to blink and forgive the show a bit. Otherwise, there are some great debates in this episode about parenting a child with issues. The show doesn't just look at the extreme case of Meng Meng's awful parents, but also questions the Ren family dynamic as well.

Lots of 'small things' happen in this…

Lots of 'small things' happen in this episode to move different plot threads forward. It now becomes pretty obvious to the audience that Ren Tian Zhen has a thing for Sun Tou Tou. He's hiding it of course and the other characters still think he is inclined toward Meng Meng though it's clear to the audience finally that he really does see her as a patient /. little sister. Chen Ying's story takes another nice step forward in the form of reconciliation with her ex-in-laws and also casually drops the 'best friend' status that Zhu Xia has become for her. Throughout this episode, Sun Tou Tou's character is mischievously charming and adorable in almost every scene. Then, to STT's & Professor Ren's dismay, the stupid 300 yr-old tile is found and they have to deal with it. Once again, Sun Tou Tou shows how practical-minded she can be in dealing with that. And finally, to close out the very last moment of the episode, STT really comes out strong with her practical wisdom of how the world works when she basically tosses Meng Meng's legal status as an adult in her father's face.

they are repeating season Ⅱ’s mistakes

this episode took me three hours to watch IT WAS RIDICULOUS IN THE FIRST SEASON TO HAVE AN HONORS STUDENT KICK PUPPIES IT’s RIDICULOUS THIS SEASON TO HAVE HONORS STUDENTS BE MASKED GANG MEMBERS . . . wsith that being said i was really into icchi’s character but i don’t think he really got to go anywhere. we kind’ve just skim the surface of him feeling fallen but don’t get to know why he fell 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ fascinated by the framing of ogata & kazama. ogata is currently placed closer to odagiri ryu & sawada shin but like we are skipping him once again & focusing on a supporting friend & then we are going back to kazama next episode ????which is what I’ll do on the matter of the aoshiba kids not being arrested because ido imagine this will come back same way kudo did 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ kind’ve unsatisfied with this episode to be honest. icchi kind’ve just came & went like oh okay that’s how this episode will resolve.

more of those shoes bytheway

i also liked this episdoe what can i say . thewy’re off on a great sztart to be honest i really like kazama ren so far. ogata hasn’t had his spotlight yet but i think both leaders have exceptional set+ups for some really interesting characters. I’m reserving the faith though this show doesn’t have THAT great of a track record to put my hopes up. i really hope they do something interesting with kazama ren’ds past of being bullied.

Three Stars

The ML in this ep reminded me of Park Bo Gum. Not that I think they look alike but his facial features and mannerism really had a Bo Gum vibe. Anyway, I think the story is starting to drag and they almost let him tell Ha Ran the truth but she's too drunk and falls asleep. SIGH!!! I hate that Ha Dam's friend stirring up shit about her relationship and I hate that she's starting to believe it.

Five Stars

I really love this episode. I love how Han Jimin make Lee Seo-Jin works his ass off. It’s a refreshing change of scenes cause he usually pushes Kwang-Kyu to drive, run errands, etc. I also like the little moments between Kwang-Kyu and one of the writers when they saw Jimin drinking water of how pretty she is. The writer console Kwang-Kyu by saying he’s pretty too. From what I see, I think Seo-Jin just enjoys teasing Jimin. 🤣🤣

That Tension Though

There’s this constant feeling that something is about to happen, and it really stands out here. The scenes between Arisa and Lalin feel more loaded now. Curious to see how far they take this.

Okay, Now I’m Invested

Yeah, this episode did it for me. You can feel things shifting, especially with Arisa. The situation isn’t as simple anymore, and that makes it way more interesting to follow.

It’s Getting Interesting

This is where I started paying more attention. The interactions feel less surface-level now, and there’s a bit more weight behind what’s happening. It’s building nicely.
