Five Stars

Ah the first thing that came to mind, maybe that episode with Choi Hwa-Jeong where they got that tarot reading that the show will improve after her appearance. I think it did because this episode was a hit as well. This episode they took care of YuJin from IVE. They really took care of her well especially Seo-Jin, he even bothered with the hand gestures and he seems to be proud of her. I didn’t know that Kwang Kyu could cook. It’s so nice of them to cook her a home cooked meal. I wonder how long this streak of hits episode will go on.

Five Stars

I enjoyed this episode too. It kind of breaks the format of the show, where it usually shows the secretaries driving the guest from location to location. Also this episode involves kids so, I got to see Seo-Jin’s obviously sweeter side. Even though it took a majority of the episode, it didn’t feel tiring at all to watch. And the dinner scene where the moms was singing their hearts out it was funny. And this is the first time Seo-Jin sings and he is good man. Maybe this episode involves children but I’m not sure if this is the effect from the previous guest effect.

i head+canon ren’s sister to be trans

okay this episode took a down+ward turn unfortunately. i will admit it is a bit different to have ren personally feel like his sister actively doesn’t want him when my natural inclination ,along with how these types of episodes always goes is that ren would feel like a burden his sister suffers from ,which i am being a little pedantic about because these are borderline the same thing but i think him personally feeling like she doesn’t love him isn’t explored & instead kind’ve cheapens their relationship of being one where they both make sacrifices & put their love for the other over how the other actually feels 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i also don’t like hearing yamaguchi chastize the men for hitting a woman but I’ll ignore it because i don’t know the language nuance that might’ve been lost. i have a problem with yamaguvhi not being able to piece things together herself. she’s too old & has been through this cycle too many times to have her grand+father read between the lines for her. it also goes to show she isn’t actually meeting the boys & trying to understand them 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ which is why i also hate sawatari being reset every season & being continuously antagonistic to these kids it’s really annoying how they don’t ever really grow. i am fascinated with akagi though. i can see the complaint about the female antagonists having a softer side compared to the male antagonists but that doesn’t really mean amything to me because akagi is presenting herself to actually have substance & be multi+dimmensional & can really challenge yamaguchi. this was a fun episode though

Ugh this show....dragging too much and I shouldn't…

Ugh this show....dragging too much and I shouldn't complain yet here we are. I just wish Korean writers would stop with all this unnecessary compounded trauma. Stop with all the misunderstandings b/c people don't communicate. His father does not deserve forgiveness, and I hate that Haran asked him to try. NO!

Red

Zhang Linghe really looks incredible in red, it suits him perfectly. Seeing him like that just reminds me of Eternal Faith, which now feels more like Eternal Wait. Maybe in another lifetime, we’ll finally get to see Zhang Linghe as Hua Cheng (sorry for bringing another drama here)

what a stressful episode!

After having the whole series explained to me, we're almost at the end now, and I see that 7 against 1 can't win, even though they're gods and masters. My opossum is gone. This episode is stressing me out.

Emotional overlap begins

The interesting part now is how the lines are starting to blur. The revenge angle is still there, but scenes between Arisa and Lalin don’t feel purely strategic anymore. There’s a sense that emotions are starting to interfere with what was supposed to be a clean plan.

Cracks in control

Arisa’s control starts to feel less clean here. Even though she’s still moving forward with her plan, there are moments where her reactions don’t fully match her intentions. That contrast makes the dynamic with Lalin more tense.

Strategy starts showing

This episode makes it clearer that Arisa is not acting emotionally when it comes to Lalin. Everything she does feels like part of a bigger plan. What makes it interesting is that Lalin doesn’t feel like just a target, her reactions already complicate things more than expected.

Setup with tension already built in

The story doesn’t waste time explaining too much and instead throws you into Arisa’s mindset quickly. You can already sense she’s here for revenge, even when she’s calm on the outside. Her first connection with Lalin immediately feels like a setup for something complicated later on.
