Growing pains

I loved the book swap challenge between Dr Gu and YuYu. Lin is struggling because she feels unappreciated where she is and she is not sure about leaving all behind for Beijing. Wu and YuYu argue over Wu going solo. YuYu recognizes that his apprentice needs more experience and this is brought to light when YuYu is criticized harshly over Wu’s design. His girlfriend is annoyed with him pouting over games and she finally shows him the comments and tells him Lin is also leaving. They have some serious words but do eventually make up. I love that he asks Dr Gu’s opinion in what to wear for the interview. To be honest, I thought he was going to get grilled over Wu’s design and criticism of it. I loved that he went back to Wu’s interview video and remembered why he hired him in the first place. The respect and support he offered Wu in the interview made me tear up. He phrased it so fatherly and correctly. Wu admiring his penmanship with sign.😂🤣 It was interesting to see English garden take over the office.🤣😂 YuYu is taking it in stride. Dr Gu has become the heart and advisor of the group. She wisely counsels them all as they need it. Lin’s bday party struck a chord with the group and as usual YuYu had to be the dissident note. He has an interesting gift to wish her longevity. It is funny how he corners Dr Yu at the bookstore when she left office early. She gave him very sound advice for dealing with Lin. Whether or not she chooses to go, he should talk to her and let her know how he feels. They should stay together as partners or part as friends with no heart knot between them. He remembers when they first became partners and what that meant to him as he reaches for the phone to call her. This episode presented the heart of the group. It is sweet and sentimental and messy and sorrowful as life brings change in understanding and/or location. I like that this drama does this. It shows us their slice of life circumstances and all emotions are embraced and shown. This is not a comedy but their life circumstances including humor. I really appreciate how the writer and actors evolved this story. It is funny and heartfelt and relatable. I am glad there are still two episodes left because I find myself reluctant to let this group go. I have found every episode to be a solid 8.5 or better for me. I hope more watch this gem because it really is just that good. 😄

Why Red Flag Leads Make Chinese BL So Addictive

For me, green flag leads are honestly boring. PlutoCharon is a perfect example. It is airing right now and both leads are green flag, and once you watch it you will know exactly what I mean. The story feels safe, predictable and nothing really pulls you in.Red flag, dark and manipulative leads are what make Chinese BL so addictive and unforgettable. The tension, the angst, the emotional chaos and the way these characters hurt and heal each other is what draws viewers in every single time. It keeps the plot exciting, the chemistry intense and the emotional payoff so much stronger.And of course these characters are fictional and have nothing to do with real life relationships. That is why we enjoy them so much, because they give us drama without consequences.

I am obsessed

They’ve grown up so much but on God jinn is still that motherfucking kid who got punched on the basketball court for having a crush on him like I think that he should move on and get over this but he hasn’t gone over the guy and now this guy finally likes you when you’re gonna punch him in the face make it make any sense no but I like understand, but like it’s kind of annoying. I’ve think that he needs to calm down and hear this guy out and like y’all can work through this because I feel like if he was messing with you, he wouldn’t go as far as to kiss you and he did you punched him in the face, but like I understand both sides completely. I think by him being able to tell the future he’s messing with things he shouldn’t be messing with because he’s changing the route of how they fall in love. The outcomes are gonna be different so I think two things jinn needs to calm his ass down and just like think about stuff and Jerome needs to realize that you can’t mess with the future and expect everything to be the same because the main thing on why they were dating is that he never found the journal because he hid it really well and all this, but he went through and looked at that journal and I think he shouldn’t have and maybe then right now his reaction to the kiss would’ve been better but then again I’m five minutes in and I need to stop analyzing this so much.left field ass lustful eyes from sea dude. Whoa where did this chemistry come from like they have chemistry but oh my God he has like so much lust in his eyes. It’s kind of scary.  trying not to fall asleep so he doesn’t have these crazy nightmares about you dude. he does like him. Y’all are so darn cute. There’s levels of this shit oh my God this is a really good episode and I can’t wait for next week. I’m so pumped. 9.5/10 okay bye!

shoulda ended in episode 38

tbh yetan's death would've been a lot more poignant if we hadn't already seen it happen literally 40 times with the start of each episode. because of that, it's clear from the beginning that yetan is going to sacrifice herself to close guixu. and this narcissistic turd of a heavenly emperor NEVER should've gotten to redeem himself, especially considering they made suzhi randomly become evil. the emperor spent the whole series crapping on his kids and now suddenly he cares about them and sees the error of his ways? nonsense. both of these character reversals are neither believable, nor necessary. ultimately, i think this is a good series, but these last few episodes leave a lot to be desired

this is so damn good, i was laughing my ass…

this is so damn good, i was laughing my ass off as perusal cause of Fan's craziness & then we got that serious PTSD moment & the backstory. that was heart breaking & so freakin sad. but this so good, i am so impressed by how good this BL is & with each ep it's just getting better. i haven't read the novel & am sure after this BL's finish's, i will check it out (cause saw people complaining how this fall short of the novel) so i can't wait. as personally i think both actors (well all actors) r delivering regardless of their experience or lack there of in acting - they brought their A-game IMO. ****************************************pity Zhen fell for Fan's lies but if he doesn't then no BL. & he deserves letting go of a sure thing for a mirage.. Fan played him, but he allowed himself to get played - so i don't feel sorry for him. & i hope Yu doesn't take him back if he comes begging.
