OMG i haven't been this infuriated in a while - every time Kim Jung Hyun opens his mouth i wanna bash his head in. the gaslighting - the way he has broken Jung Woo is making me see red, the way he verbally abuses him is driving me crazy & the fact Jung Woo is turned into this meek, self doubting subhuman is distressing to watch. i feel so so so bad & sad for Jung Woo. he believed Jung Hyun was the only one he could rely on & Jung Hyun took that trust & has turned Jung Woo into an empty shell of a human. every time Jung Woo asked for his opinion it was like an arrow to the heart. Jung Woo is so pathetic it's hurting my soul, to watch him almost grovel & every time Jung Hyun feels Jung Woo might get out of line he threatens to end things with him & as he has turned himself into Jung Woo's north star, he knows that Jung Woo will feel like he is lost at sea without an anchor. so i need him to get far away from Jung Hyun ASAP & lets hope the little i saw from the preview means that it's gonna happen sooner rather then later. ******************************************************************************************cause if i understood right, Jung Hyun hasn't just broken Jung Woo for sh*ts & giggle's, but he has turned Jung Woo into his ghost writer - like WTF!!! omg !!! that's why he lost it when Tae Young suggested they co write a book. cause he knows then his lie will come to light, as i doubt he can still write - guess being an evil MOFO gave him writers block.******************************if i aint wrong Tae Young said that Jung Woo's book saved him not just make his surrender - ironic as he is the catalyst that is gonna save Jung Woo from himself & Jung Hyun. or so i hope!

Five Stars

Finally, at least a few of the villains of this series are starting to get their overdue punishment. And if nothing else, at least finally Lige is fully revealed for the psychopathic evil piece of crap that he has been all along. It's a little frustrating just how reluctant both BWS and ZQ are to believe how evil Lige is. Lige, to his credit, admits that he has "always been like this" - which is true. He has been a murderous psychopath since he first appeared in the show, willing to sacrifice thousands of lives for his obsessions.Frustrating how stupid Chief Meng was with so many issues that led to a lot of disastrous results. He should never have pre-announced that he was going to destroy the Tower. He should have destroyed it first and announced it second. And he should not have tied his incarceration of his daughter to his own life. That was just stupid and sure enough now she's out causing trouble. These and several other decisions by him and previous leaders of the Dream clan have caused so much harm to so many.

wish i could say i loved this - this started…

wish i could say i loved this - this started off strong, but fell flat. given Minato's personality & hang-up's i guess unless he did a 180 by the end, showing some growth i wouldn't really be that happy.... & he didn't change - if anything in this ep he told Shizuma that he "fell" for him cause of how he talked about his ex gf (that cheated on him). to anyone it would sound like he "fell" cause Shizuma was so unlike his mother, to me it came off as Shizuma is someone who would be easy to "handle".****************************************************************************************************************************************at the end when Minato says "...if u cheat i will kill & eat u..." i believe that. while Shizuma's threat had no teeth, as he has already proved he will grovel, plead & apologize - trying to understand & forgive Minato whether it's justified or not, even before he tried to open his mouth, he is forgiven. so i aint happy with this end, as to me Minato lucked out but Shizuma has gotten the raw end of the deal. *******************************************************************************************************the bummer is that this has been the case with quite a few J-BL's recently, they start off great but slowly they like a balloon slowly getting deflated & a "sex" scene & a few tepid kisses can't revive this corpse.

Accidents

XiGuang is rushed to the hospital and fortunately isn’t too badly injured. She wakes up to find Lin in her room. They have a conversation where he is still trying to get her to remember his first accident. They both are hurt at what they see as meanness and lack of courtesy in treatment. He has promised to stop with his bias while she is still trying to figure out why he has it. There was a flashback to Lin in hospital and his friend giving him lame excuses about why the girl didn’t show up with him. This still weighs heavily on him even after all this time. It is shown his vision and hand is impaired to the point that being a surgeon is no longer possible. The severity of his changed condition makes him very hurt that the girl he was going to see never made any effort at all to check up on him…not even through his friend. That isn’t matching in his head with the girl he is with so he’s very conflicted and angry when his efforts to jar her memory fall flat. When her friends come to visit they have a thermos container with some tasty healthy food made by his domestic helper. Her friends let her know she threw up on him and that he had taken care of hospital arrangements to include a private room. She is both embarrassed and overwhelmed at the events. They are busy clarifying that the gal with him was only a colleague. They are dying to be matchmakers with her and the boss. 😂 she gives him a very short thank you text which he responds to hoping she will say more. Things are so awkward when he visits but they are cute🥰His buddy is holding a meeting in her room to get his prior cases noted by her. This is a huge Nono on so many levels but it is letting her see him as a doctor rather than her boss. After getting all her meals with him or from him since in hospital her friend suggests that he likes her. She can’t fathom that.😂Her friend trying to see her cry😂🤣 There is a poignant moment when he’s trying to help her progress in the game and his hand can’t keep up.😭 and episode ends with her noticing.

sh*t - from where to start. i said i didn't like Jung Hyun & my dislike has just increased. i knew the dude was shady. it was touch & go at the start what with him trying to help Jung Woo publish his book with a new publisher. but the more this ep progressed the more it seemed like Jung Woo is like a bird in a cage & Jung Hyun has put him in that gilded cage, his words while on the surface might seem supportive r really restrictive & demoralizing. they r meant to clip Jung Woo's wings, never allowing him to venture too far, never allowing him to spread his wings. & he has broken Jung Woo to such a degree, that it felt like his every move he reports to Jung Hyun, asking his advise as to how & what he should do. & if for a sec he mentions wanting to spread his wings - Jung Hyun verbally punishes him. his abandoning him, saying he wouldn't drive him back was a reminder to Jung Woo that he was all alone & only Jung Hyun existed & if he too abandoned him, Jung Woo would be all alone. watching this diabolical gaslighting made my skin crawl - ******************************************************************************************Jung Woo wants to write & he wants to grab onto the life line Tae Young is offering - but he is too insecure & terrified it will amount to nothing cause Jung Hyun has helped squash his self-worth & fighting spirit. this so freakin sad. so he will reject Tae Young - even though he really doesn't want too.************************************************************************************* aish i wasn't prepared for this BL to be this "heavy" i get Jung Woo impotency, but i want him to get his fighting spirit back for himself & also for Tae Young - kinda had it watching Jung Hyun walk around dictating sh*t like he some king. i can't wait for the moment Jung Woo cuts the umbilical cord & tells Jung Hyun to f*ck off - ok he wont say that. but one can dream ugh

interesting 1st ep - reading the description one would assume Kim Jung Hyun is a good guy, i don't like him & i have a bad feeling that he has something to do with Jung Woo getting black listed, or he has something to do with trying to keep him from going back to writing... he gives me a bad vibe - the fact he is interested in Jung Woo is obvious. what i didn't get, r they a couple? or is Jung Woo close to Jung Hyun cause he's the only senior/person among the writers group, that is supporting him?!? either way Jung Hyun turning Tae Young down in Jung Woo's stead pissed me off - even if they were a couple or Jung Woo was his child, that wouldn't be ok. Jung Woo has the right to know & decide on his own. like WTF. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Tae Young on the other hand, the more i saw of him (unlike Jung Hyun) the more i liked him. i love that he is always smiling, he's such a sweet & bubbly character. am sure he isn't leading an easy life, yet he choses to smile & project positivity. i don't even know Jung Woo's personality, but if he's the MC (which i wonder, as to me the one that shone in this ep was Tae Young) then he should end up with a good-guy, like Tae Young.

Reminiscing

Xu seems a lot more personable when talking to his male colleague. He even smiles.😝 He is starting to see issues with the account he was just working on but his company man colleague is encouraging him to brush it off. Their conversation is interrupted by a call and Xu heads for restaurant XiGuang wasted the day in to meet Rong. She brought mom snacks along so he knew he better show up. He is back to being his aloof and blunt self with her. He won’t gossip about their classmate and he told her point blank he was only interested in getting his career going in right direction and everything else was a far second for interest. I did smirk that XiGuang got all the cake that Rong wanted. I did roll my eyes at her mental soliloquy before finally getting in cab. Reading comments there was one with my feelings exactly and another on how she had to unlearn the picture in her head. I am trying to get rid of my bias with her infatuation, but there really seems no reason or point for it. In the cab she even admits that, but is that just til next time there is an opportunity? At least she has supportive colleagues and they are willing to accompany her delulu or no. XiGuang is a lot luckier with roommates this time around. They aren’t bashing her for being rich girl or expecting stuff because she is. The budding friendship of these three is like the three musketeers. They will get through it all together.😁 Lin had a doctor visit and while his hand is healing nicely, it is not likely it will regain the strength needed to be a surgeon. He’s talking with a prior colleague and gets injured rescuing a little old lady. When management comes in and says he will be out for the month, XiGuang thinks her prayers for his absence caused his injury. Out of guilt she offers to be the liaison from work that keeps him updated on everything. When she arrives at his home and asks the maid how he is, she thinks she has mighty powerful wishes.😂🤣Lin is surprised she is the one visiting and I think mentally evaluating her non visits from his serious accident. She is fun with the fruit as she’s hungry and debating what to leave so she doesn’t look like a pig with the snacks.😂 She now finds herself with a card key to his home and getting documents daily to chat with him about. She isn’t happy about it, but she’s stuck with him now.😂☺️ The entire department is trying to be helpful with urgent documents for her to take to him.😂 When he asks why she is guilty he is thinking from first accident and she’s thinking she cursed him at temple. When he asks about a forgotten memory she has no clue what he’s talking about and he is disheartened with that. He tells her to leave the keycard and she won’t need to come back anymore. She sees somebody (Mo?) getting hauled off in a black car on her way back to office. She is trying to figure out what Lin is talking about but she gets even bigger news as the girls have a celebratory dinner that Mo has been arrested and no longer with the company. When Lin returns to the office she is no longer the fall guy for extra work and it’s throwing her off. At the next meeting an entire new procurement department was introduced and they are going over future plans. Xu did a site evaluation locally on his own and added the info to his report. His boss is now talking transferring him to investment banking. He is finally acknowledging he needed to change earlier when talking to his brother.😝 XiGuang is heading to her friend’s dorm to do laundry and her friend is locked out. Lin an and a colleague are chatting when they notice her climbing across the balcony. The shriek from colleague distracts XiGuang who falls through a tree. Lin rushes to save her before she hits the ground. And episode ends.
