Predictable and contrived.

Unfortunately, the writers of this series have leaned hard into the same predictable and contrived plot devices of so many asian romance-dramas and the 'lovers who fail to talk to each other' has led predictably into a totally unnecessary conflict and falling out. So this will allow them to drag us through more episodes of misunderstandings as they struggle to live life without each other only to eventually come back together. And of course they are decorating that weak plot trope with other annoying hack tropes like the 3rd-wheel romantic wannabe who is really an obsessed stalker.So much about this show is very enjoyable. The actors are top-notch and the production levels are fantastic. But the basic plot so far is very, very disappointing and not creative at all. It feels the basic story was thrown together by ChatGPT from prompts from a 12 year old. Why is it so difficult to have the characters behave like thinking adults and still write an engaging plot?

This was a good episode overall. But the thing that is dragging on this whole storyline is that the writers have failed to give us a reason to empathize with Ming Yicontinuing to lie about her identity to Ji Bo Zai. There is no apparent reason for her to continue to do so and it is hurting both of them that she is. It could be accepted if the story presented a compelling reason for why she continues to lie. But it doesn't. So it has become annoying and feels contrived. As if she is only doing so to drag the plot gimmick out. This is a pretty big flaw in this otherwise very entertaining drama, and the flaw is getting bigger as it proceeds. If they don't either explain it or conclude it, it could make the entire series unwatchable as the audience looses empathy with the heroine.

Love and Rivalry Collide in Head 2 Head

Great start to another university BL. The first episode was light, fun, and entertaining from start to finish.It’s such a joy to see KeenSea from OnlyBoo and MuTeLuv back together, and once again their chemistry absolutely lights up the screen. Watching them bicker and challenge each other was pure fun. The story follows J and Jinn, long-time rivals who can’t be in the same space without throwing insults or glares. But when a racing accident leaves J under Jinn’s care, their constant head-to-head tension begins to shift into something deeper.The next-door neighbour enemies-to-lovers setup instantly reminds me of Bad Buddy, and I can already tell this series will deliver that same mix of humour, rivalry, and warmth. I can’t wait to see how two people who claim to hate each other end up falling in love. My Mondays until the end of the year are guaranteed to be full of laughter and sparks. The title Head 2 Head couldn’t be more fitting, because J and Jinn are bound to clash until love wins.

this has been ridiculous from the start so idk why i am looking for common sense now - but still how the frack did a teen that was just in the same grade as Mob's younger brother, flash/ fast-forward into the future - while everyone in this universe r still in the same place?!? this crazy - but as we one ep from the end, i just want/hope/pray someone can "capture" Mob & he finally wouldn't be able to evade being in a relationship. "the end"! ************************************************************************this is cute & has it's funny moments, but even i admit (& i love the main character's crazy antic's) that this is getting kinda old. so another season of this.... would not be welcome (!) by me & have a feeling that this time, i aint the odd one out.

Okay wait Keng and the guy who plays the younger version of him lowkey look similar, i didnt think they did but holy fuck i didnt even notice my lord. Why is everybody dying in grusome fucking ways? I AINT EVEN NOTICE UNTILL THE BRACES, HELPPPPP, MY LORD. But like normally they dont but the switches I couldn't even tell. Also how does this flashback connect to the previous episode, ngl, waiting for that. I am incredibly embrassed why are we crying in front of him? And we are right back where we started. Cant even look him in the eye, shame, shame. ITS THEM AS LESBIANSSSSSS. The quality is going down just a bit but its okay. Wait why didnt it work?? Okay so this lady gets revenge on mistreated women.
