Earthmix vibes

Episode 7 kali ini menurutku merupakan isi dari cerita utama yang pertama, episode kali ini benar-benar berfokus pada heng dan mo, walaupun beberapa filler muncul di episode kali ini ; namun filler yang ditampilkan tetap terorientasi pada heng. Dari segi romansa, menurutku biasa saja ya sebab earth dan mix memang sudah sering muncul dalam series-series sebelumnya, selain itu dari segi dialog mudah difahami dan tidak bertele-tele, ceritanya juga sangat mudah dicerna dan diikuti. Dari segi warna, sangat saturated ya menurutku dibandingkan episode-episode sebelumnya yang didominasi matte color. Episode kali ini hampir kehilangan vibes pak bos, walaupun beberapa scene menampilkan dirinya. Dari segi cerita mungkin heng dan mo terlalu cepat (menurutku pribadi) padahal sebenarnya ceritanya masih bisa diexpand satu episode lagi sebelum masuk ke episode ini, walaupun begitu kemunculan dan keputusan series ini juga bijaksana karena untuk memperpendek jumlah episode. Saya tidak sabar menonton episode selanjutnya besok.

My heart saw through everything before my eyes did

Tan Jian Ci and Li Landi come together in a beautiful fusion of acting that is pure magic. They are well matched and believable. This episode has them clearing the air about their misunderstandings and how well they mesh as colleagues. When SCC’s presentation was liked but not convincing to all the board members, TQ backs her up with specific data and statistics that supports her position and they agree to give her 3 days to get a specific client for the campaign. We are also enlightened about SCC’s insecurities about her looks when her cousin completely misunderstands her encounter with TQ and assumes it’s because she was rejected. Even loving families tend to label their children by physical appearance, athletic and/or academic abilities etc. and as pretty as she truly is, it is always less than in comparison to her sister. TQ is all about mending fences and has arranged a meeting with the granddaughter of the client they hope to get. She turns out to be an old school friend of SCC and their girl talk and actions completely bemuse TQ. He just watches and collects more data for that huge brain of his. He sits quietly by and only interjects when they want to know what specific bribe would entice the grandmother to participate. The search is on for the photo that will hopefully win her over. When he is leaving, the granddaughter offers him her high school love note which he politely refuses. He made sure SCC saw him reject it and that he meant business liking her. They are clearing up their misunderstandings step by step and it is very well done. The two are hidden in the back book-stacks pouring through decades old yearbooks trying to find the elusive photo and SCC shares a walnut with him. His sincere direct question and explanation of the cafeteria misunderstanding and her equally direct response as to her actual intent give them both food for thought. He finally accepts her gift understanding the spirit of the offering and let her know he dared to like her 😂 And fortune is on their side because he has found the photo.

Petition For Season 2 :(

Episode 16 is such a magical journey between Seul-gi and Je-yi. I would say that this drama is a lot better than other dramas that focus on skinship and intimacy. But with these two, Hyeri and Subin, there's no need for that kind of thing. Their chemistry is off the charts, and it's fire. The journey of these two shows that love is not about how we show affection to people, but about how we care and selflessly make an effort to protect that person. It's like, 'I could die for you, all of my life, just to keep you safe from my father.' I'm still hoping for another season of this K-drama because this is the best drama ever.

What in the character assassination is this?

The writer-director took it upon himself to dumb down multiple characters, kill all character growth, and fundamentally change kep plot points just to extend his run time. This is how you fuck up an adaptation of a romance written by a woman. All this director seems to want to focus on are the traumatic elements. The SA...the SA that never existed in the source material so that she can meet the intern. No. No. No. "Her room looked rather emtpy" no shit Sherlock. This is "but what do we do now" levels of taking away a woman's intelligence to further a plot point for a male character. Wen YiFan GOES TO Sang Yan in YiHe. SHE DOES NOT GO INTO FUCKING HIDDING SCARYING THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF HIM. Sang Yan does not find out from other people what the fuck is happening with his girlfriend. She goes to HIM & SHE tells him her story. I get want to show a visual of him discovering what she went through over the years, but there were better ways to show the audience this information without undoing all character development & placing everyone back at square fucking one.

to me the really bad guy is Park Jin, i really dislike this f*cker - it's like he sufferers from a split-personality. with Kim Do Ju he is a totally different person, then who is with Jang Uk & as i have pointed out, that he keeps telling Kim Do Ju that he is ready to hurt anyone, when push comes to shove. but as she has never seen him, when he is alone with Jang Uk, she can't really understand what he is talking about or that, that he can be that ruthless. so i am starting to really dislike when he acts all cutesy with her, as if he's an innocent lamb that can't hurt a fly. i NEED her to see his true face! *************************************cause as i knew - the only reason he accepted Jang Uk as a disciple wasn't to teach him, but to leash him - so he couldn't run free & grow to full potential. the fact he is also hoping Jang Uk's father comes back to break him/rein him in is even more infuriating. cause Jang Uk is thinking he has finally received the approval & will be receiving the training that will help him achieve his goals. poor trusting soul. *********************************************************************************************************************************************this was a really fun ep & i laughed a lot. but sadly there a lot of character's here in for heartache - especially the mains. i also pity the crown prince that is gonna be manipulated by the queen & the rat. he's a good guy that is gonna get poisoned cause of their scheming ...********************************************************************************************************************************************also i really wish Seo Yul (the goody two shoes) hadn't intervened & saved So Yi. sorry not sorry i can't stand her & i wish she disappeared as she appeared. the fact she now gonna get used to manipulate the Jin matriarch is neither here nor there. i just don't like her.
