It's not good to hate something before you try it

Subaru tries extra hard to make Madoka fall for him, this time making a tomato-red-bean paste dish for her. After some reluctance, she tries it, and likes it. "It's not good to hate something before you try it," Madoka exclaims. These words inspire Subaru. Cupid, along with the help of Gramps, is slowly directing the two to become a couple, but still at the ready to cut either one short before it's the appropriate time. The scene where Subaru overhears Madoka defending him against fellow company workers bad-mouthing him is an early turning point in the series. Madoka's passion with which she speaks up for his reputation is a powerful love-arrow shot into Subaru's heart. He thinks to himself, "I'm getting mad." But Tendo doesn't really mean "mad" as in he's getting angry at Hanakura. His heart is actually telling him that's he's falling madly in love. Similarly, Madoka doesn't yet realize what her defense of this rich kid is doing to her ice-covered heart.

This is what I call a romantic comedy!

Great start to a drama. Everything is top notch. From the story, to the actors, to the production-level, and all things in-between. I notice that even the in-drama orchestra music is befitting of a memorable, big drama. The tension between the two main leads, their total opposite personalities, is the big draw. Nagase Ren is perfect for the role of a handsome, narcissictic, rich playboy. And Yamashita Mizuki is equally well-suited in her role as a beautiful, unselfish, serious company employee. Here is the gist of it: can these two people, as different as night and day, ever fall in love with each other? Subaru strikes out in grand fashion in his first attempt to make Madoka fall for him. But you just know he'll be up for another at-bat soon, with his personality and self-determination. Madoka, on the other hand, is like an elegant ice sculpture with a romantic heart in its middle, waiting to be uncovered. It's going to take some time to thaw out that ice carving though, because it's pretty big.

i don't get the father, what is he offering his son - what kinda life?!? is a lawless life better then what Ji Hwan has achieved all on his own. he might not be as rich as his father, but he doesn't look destitute. he for sure doesn't have to worry that the law gonna break-down his door at any given moment. *********************************************************************************his father is acting like his wayward son went wild & now it's time for him to grow-up & get back into the fold, mature so he can take over the family business (a normal respectable family business). ( ˘︹˘ ) ***************************************************living the harsh life that he has, one would think he would want a better life for his only son. i don't get his mind set. **********************************************************************************************************************************************also the whole plot at the start was infuriating. Dong Hui wasn't drunk & didn't abduct that dude's sister. it was an accident & he paid for that cause he was the one driving. it was bad luck & he for sure wasn't at fault, so all the kneeling & apologizing was ridiculous - totally unwarranted for. the brother got anger issues, he can go get his head checked & get the appropriate medication. u can't keep punishing someone that has already been dealt with, by the law. that's why the freakin law exist! like it or not.

Let just say I’ll be charitable by giving it a 4, because at least I’m no longer irritable with this series, I just don’t care any more, and so I’ll drop it here. At this point, the story was in the past, there isn’t much chemistry still between the two leads when you should see some, especially with the change in dynamic. The FL is young, at best 30yo (her sister seems to be 20ish, n they got saved by a young Prince, who also look around 30 at best), but she acts like shes been at this for 100+ years, her sassy was also not fiery enough. I’m just not convinced, and the clip I saw off their future interaction also show very weak chemistry. I’ll drop it here, this is just not for me!

the "drama"... plz but wonder if Yang Hui was the one that gave that dude the info as to where he can find Dong Hui. plus after his pushing Eun Ha, Ji Hwan actions even if he wasn't a ex-mobster would be justified. *********************************************************************************************************************************************also Eun Ha getting angry at Ji Hwan cause he doesn't tell her everything. dude u started dating just a few days ago - maybe a week, does this mean u should have to divulge ur whole life story? normally it would take a while being together it will come out. has she told him her whole life story? until now we have yet to hear about where her mother disappeared too. *******************************************************************************************************************************************personally the side stories (now Dong Hui & Il Yeong's love-plot) is a bit meeh to me. there is so much going on with the mains, that i wanna focus on them. same with Ye Na, she keeps popping-up like a bad penny every few eps & it's just cringe to watch. like how many times must a guy say Not interested. until u finally get the message?!?
