I can say that it's one of the best bl storyline I've ever watched.
At first I was really confuse how their story will end up but the last part just gave me chills, The story is very simple yet so good, the story touched my heart and the acting is really good. The flow of the story was good though I didn't like some. I really love how the relationship of the two develop. I thought the story will focus on the present but I didn't notice that it took almost an hour watching their story, They gave us an open ending so it's normal for us to ask a continuation of their story, I badly need that. I dont know why the ratings is low but Imma give this series a 10/10, It didn't waste my time. I hope there's a continuation for this. Was this review helpful to you?

Like the first move, a precious and underated jewel
I didn't write a review about the first movie because as soon as I finished I immediately started the second one haha.Well, let's go to the main point.
About the movie:
The plot is simple, funny, very light and and made me laugh a lot. Of course they had those super exaggerating parts with extra blood and all but within the movie environment were like expected.
The ML did such amazing work in his acting, his poker face was hilarious, really overwhelmed.
The action and the performance of the fights were very well done in my point of view .
I won't prolong, so if you like or need to spend some quality time, without much complex triangles and all that cliche stuff I recommend this (and the first movie first of course haha) to you.
I hope that I could convince you and of course that you like/enjoy the movie as I did.

Great vibes and story, but needs more
I felt like the allegory here was really captivating and I actually loved the entire vibe of the movie — I know there have been complaints about the CGI and VFX but I had no issue with it; it actually fit in with the vibe of the movie really well.I really liked the theme of betrayal as well, but for some reason, I felt like it didn't really have the same impact that it tried to have. I kind of have mixed feelings about the dual timeline style — I did like how things were revealed later on, but the way it also played out also seemed to dull some of the power of the reveals.
I don't love the plot itself and how social/political decisions were partly romance-driven; it always seems to cheapen plot developments to me.

The bonds of brotherhood
The Faceless Boss: The Untold Story is oriented around the bond of brotherhood and warm family hierarchy relationship. The movie in no boring and slow moving, shows the gentler and kinder gangster families and how the gang members are taking care of each other while serving time in the penitentiary. It is very touching movie but it is filmed in mostly gloomy scenography to accentuate the distressing gangster life. The gangster members are trying to encourage high school students to stay away from troubles and discourage youngsters from becoming members of a gangster. The dewy-eyed actor Chun Jung Myung acts so well as a dignified junior Boss Gwon Sang Gon, and multifaceted dashing actor Jin Yi Han is his loyal Consigliere Goo Chul Ho. The Faceless Boss: The Untold Story and entertaining movie to watch for the whole family. Was this review helpful to you?
Family and Brotherhood
The Faceless Boss is a family and brotherhood noir gangster movie that is different from all the violent and bloody gangster movies. The movie is slow moving and focusing on organized syndicate brotherhood inside/outside the prison and family relationship. It is very touching movie but it is filmed in dark cinematography, probably to deepen the depressing outlook of a gangster life. The actor Chun Jung Myung plays so well as a dignified young Boss Gwon Sang Gon is a son of a construction company. His father wants him to stay in his business and forgo his affiliation with organized crime syndicate. However, Sang Gon is sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for a homicide committed by one of his "brothers". After ten years, he takes over his father business but continues with his organized crime activities. Charming actor Jin Yi Han portrays as Sang Gon's Loyal Consigliere Goo Chul Ho that would do anything to protect his "Hyeong-nim" Sang Gon. Actress Lee Shi Ah is worth mentioning, she is so perfect portraying a lawyer Jung Min Jung, Sang Gon's wife. The story is captivating and soul searching. At the end of the day, I would say the movie is made in documentary style for the purposes of education and entertainment, Last but not least, the movie would make us ponder about the meaning of living a life. Was this review helpful to you?
Honestly not bad but not great!
I was so excited when I finally found out that there is a movie with just our cinnamon buns Wen Ning and Sizhui and dropped everything then and there and rushed in order to watch the movie and honestly it's not bad though not as great as I hoped it would be.My only problem with this is Wen Ning feels OOC and asking Sizhui to not call him Shushu broke my heart. Come one it's cute when A Yuan calls him Shushu and I get that Wen Ning needs be strong here and he is strong and knowledgeable and he needs to look after Sizhui too and being a main character means he can't be the adorable side character he was but I just wish they didn't change him so much that he doesn't feel like Wen Ning anymore.
The Best Part of the movie for me is "everytime Sizhui used his Guqin". I just had a huge smile on my face, proud to see him so much stronger than he was in Untamed, bet his dads are proud of him especially Lan Zhan being all like "That's my boy!"
The Story is predictable and the acting is fine, the fights look good. All in all a fun watch and would recommend fans to at least watch it once, won't watch it again though.
Also the last lines of banter between the Sizhui and his Ning shushu were cute.

GOKAI CHANGE!.... GOOOOKAIGER!
Honestly, I was not going to give this movie a low rating even if it was pretty bad. Nostalgia is just too big of a factor and I can't be unbiased in this situation. However, what surprised me was how good this movie was. I LOVED it.The plot was great. I won't get into details to not spoil but it truly utilized the characters and their personalities great. (Possibly) Being set in the VS movie-verse of Toei, we even get some world-building to let you know that the seasons after Gokaiger also took place in these worlds outside of the ranger keys. We also acknowledge the time they returned in Zyouhger.
Ohh the music was such a beautiful sound to my ears. When I heard that "Tun dunt dura-rararant" I got chills.
And if you can't tell, I'm just gushing about this movie. So of course I'll rewatch this. Probably as soon as a finish this review.

Night Flight
wonderful moving film about gay love repressed in an oppressive society reflected in its schools 〜thoughtful and provocative with much darkness about how and why people behave to each other so cruelly especially to those considered "different" and the struggle to accept yourself being gay in this environment。the action is filmed against a background of arid broken gloomy urban landscapes well reflecting the cruelty and alienation in the fight for survival among the persecutors as much as those they persecute. there are only brief interludes of happiness or beauty along the way such as Yong Joo's and Gi Woong's trip to the coast。the title of the film Night Flight comes from an abandoned gay club (closed down because of prejudice it was too near to schools!) where Yong Joo and the only other student from a different school in the area secretly meet。 it is a dark film with much violence bitterness hatred but out of the darkness almost miraculously come fragile glimmerings of light, love and hope💛💛Was this review helpful to you?
This review is from someone who watched the anime and read the manga 5 years ago--
Cast/Acting:There are some awkward moments, the acting isn't perfect, but I guess it's a pass since the last scenes got better and given that it's adapted from shoujo manga, the pacing is reeaal slooow that it makes it awkward
Story:
So, I did like the manga/anime a lot back then. Tho if I really think about it now, the plot is 1 big loophole. And there's just a few things that are totally out of place. Pointing them out would be spoiling the plot. Either way, the story was presented quite nicely in the movie and my rating is based on the few plot twists that are questionable. So like, is it ok to rate the movie this bad because I didn't like the questionable plot twists? Well, I think so, yeah, since the movie is loyal and didn't deviate much from the original. And tbh, I kind of wished it's not about character trauma and more on character development (it's all the questionable plot twist's fault)
Overall:
The OST is nice. Kento is handsome. The other cast did great. Tao Tsuchiya is ok. The acting can be improved. The story can be blamed on the original manga plot.
Is it worth watching?
If you like drama and slow-paced shoujo, it's not a waste of time. You might question the plot tho, if you haven't the slightest idea of the story (like I did just now after being brought a blast from the past that the younger me didn't see/realize).
Watch it if you're a fan of the genre (and Kento).

This has been one of the best movies I have ever watched.
I feel as though I'm biased with my review on this, given that if anything resonates with me or makes me an absolute mess emotionally, I tend to view the media very generously. However, I stand by my thought that this is truly one of the best films I have ever seen. I am someone who has never fallen in love before and with that, never fallen out of love but this film depicted a story of two people so realistically and genuinely that it wonderfully added to its impact. The film took me through a journey that was so wonderfully written and carefully woven together that I felt every scene mattered and I became so invested in the characters as they grew together. It starts off really easy, I felt that the characters' path together were flowing as easily as water, and I felt the way they were falling in love, I felt how secure and comfortable they were around each other, I felt how much both of them put into their relationship and their bond, and then I felt when it started to fade away too. It's just so good, and so raw and I loved how it was presented in the film. Although so much time passed from the beginning to the end of the film, it was seamless and so natural.
I loved all the hints that were left to show that their relationship was slowly changing and that they were also growing as people, like for example the shoes; when they wore similar pairs, to when they later wear completely different ones.
I am a big fan of the actors in this film, and they absolutely delivered with their acting. The way they presented the characters was just so well done, I just have no words to describe them.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film. I cried a lot, even before THE scene because I could just feel where things were heading. The way this film ends left me content. This isn't a film depicting a bad breakup, but one of two people who readily accepted that they were just not meant to be. I loved that so much. I think I will never truly shut up about this movie. It's left an impression on me.

Difficult, often ignored subject
This is probably the first movie with an intersex protagonist, even though intersexuality occurs in tens of millions people around the world. These people often undergo invasive surgeries without their consent and are deprived of any control over their bodies. How is it possible that we don't hear about this problem more often? Beats me. Hopefully, with movies like this one, the situation of intersex people will gradually improve. Was this review helpful to you?

Friendship is love too
This movie shows beautifully that human emotions are complex and the question "do I love this person" might not be a "yes - no" question at all. This is not a typical love triangle, where two people love the same person and the viewers wonder "who will win?" In here, all three protagonists have some sort of positive feeling for one another, and their quest is to understand those feelings, which is not as easy as might be expected. Is it infatuation? Is it love? Is it just friendship? Why "just" - maybe friendship is actually as big as love - or bigger? Was this review helpful to you?
Story: I watched because I'm attached to the anime and the characters. Oryo being in it is just a bonus (and somehow I see myself watching more Yamazaki Kento movies). But since it's a gag LA adaptation of a gag anime, we shouldn't expect much and things aren't supposed to make sense. Also apparently it's the same director as the Gintama movies, and somehow you can notice the likeness in scenes and pacing. For me though it would be better if there were less moments about Hairo--just my biasedness talking here--and the pacing were kind of dull at times. I did find Oryo moments funny though.
Overall: It's OK, I don't find myself re-watching it at all. Once you've seen the joke one time, that's it. Though I don't think I've wasted my time watching it, it's a great eye-candy movie, so thank you for the great casting.
