Go Go Gojira!
Go Go Gojira! As fast and as far away as you can from this ridiculous cut and paste movie! All Monsters Attack is actually about a young boy who is bullied at school and daydreams very vividly about Monster Island and his "friend" Minilla/Minya, quite possibly my least favorite character in the Godzillaverse and definitely the creepiest looking.
Robbers are on the loose and no one bothers to lock their doors, even when a child is by himself at night because the parents are working. What's the worst that can happen? Yeah, doesn't matter that it was 1969. These robbers are slightly more tame and inept than those in Home Alone, but it was still disturbing.
The little boy takes what he learns from Minilla/Minya from his daydreams to deal with the robbers and later the bullies. Unfortunately, the ending scene undoes all the anti-bullying rhetoric.
The monsters are all in the little boy's imagination and are just cut and pasted from previous movies. Hondo took a bunch of scenes like Godzilla batting a boulder around with Ebirah (the giant lobster) and added the little boy watching. Most of the chopped up scenes were from Son of Godzilla, Ebirah of the Deep, and a little from Destroy All Monsters. There was one new monster, Gabara, in short scenes to show that Minilla needed to stand up to the bully, just as the young boy needed to stand up to his bullies and the robbers. It pains me that this director from Godzilla 1954 had to stoop so low for either commercialism or to cheaply appeal to the little boy crowd. Rumored to have been scheduled to be the last Godzilla movie it made enough money that they would continue to milk that cow for a few more years targeting the younger audience before rebooting the big guy in 1984 leading into the Hesei era.
If you have children around the age of 8 and they are extremely sheltered, they might enjoy this movie. For adults, probably just for completionists.

I have had my share of movies starring the famous couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. This movie was not bad at all,but very much lovely and fun actually. We follow the rebellious main character Jackie who against her will gets taken to a village to volunteer on a medical mission in Tarlac. To her dismay, a place without any electricity and internet connection. But her cynical point of view slowly changes when she gets to know the bright and golden-hearted Kiko who also lives a unfortunate life but chooses to love instead of giving in to anger all the time. From teasing and bickering with each other, they fall completely in love. I love how Kathryn portrayed the troubled Jackie.Such a strong character, but very much vulnerable. It is so easy to be so much consumed by pain that you eventually do crazy stuff just to numb it out.You end up being so selfish and self-absorbed that you forget all the life and people around you.Kiko was right to point that out to her,and showed her an example of the poor life families have around the village. Kathryn could see the life Kiko lived. His own mother can`t even make herself to take care of him and his younger siblings, leaving all the responsibility on his shoulders while she parties away and gambles with her boyfriends. He has a rich father with his own family who never treats him more like a employer than a son.Kiko never asks from anything in return, but he does not want to cut ties with them because he considers them his family and he loves them no matter what even if they don`t appreciate him.My heart cried out for Kiko, his golden heart just made me swoon!I love the early scene where Jackie seduces him just to steal the keys from him and he tells her he is a virgin, lol!

OLD BUT GOLD
●This might be the oldest movie that I am watching via MDL recommendation.I always get to watch the clips of this movie so I took a keen interest to watch the full movie and the purpose of making it. It is not made to inspire students to do cheating but to tell that cheating is an ART, Cheating is a beauty.
●The title itself is ingenious showcasing the beauty of Cheating. The story is simple but the scripting is excellent. comedy is everywhere and the actors and their actions make it 10x times better. in spite of being an old movie, it keeps up a good pace and keeps on the nostalgia of cheating. the comedy is extremely lighthearted and truly hilarious. It was jaw-dropping, and I couldn’t control my laughter at times.
●Considering that it was made in 1996, its had incredible amount of modern devices which we didn’t hear or saw in those time not in real life or on TV. Japan truly had boomed in the electronics and gadgets world. the number of gadgets used tells that they worked hard to achieve those in the 90's era.
●This movie goes into my stress reliever list of all times.
●My friend told me once “you are not a cheater until you are caught, it is a skill which only a few people have.”
●I am planning to rewatch this movie with my friends for movie night soon, although they don't like watching subtitles, I convinced them somehow that there aren't many dialogues and only cheating in the classroom.
●THE CREATIVITY AND SKILLS USED THROUGHOUT HISTORY ARE ART ITSELF.

Realistic story
I discovered this in the trending list on Netflix and just watched this movie. This 2006 Taiwanese movie gives me "Your Name Engraved Herein" vibe. The three main casts portrayed their characters very well. I first saw Ray Chang in the "We Best Love" but he was much better here. This film is not the kind of lovely dovey film but it reflects how love in reality is complicated and mess up our lives when people are in love with someone whom they can't openly confess their love for some reasons. The story is good. Music supports the film and hits the emotions. One thing, they left the ending open. I wish they could make the ending a little bit longer. Was this review helpful to you?
A MUST WATCH
One of a kind, the storyline and actors portayed their role very well.As usual Korean BL never fail to disappointment me.
I have watched it many times and still love the chemistry of the two leads. I crave to see more of them in the movie, but then it only took for 19 minutes. T(crying)T
I’ve seen a lot of Korean BL and so far this is far behind of those. Honest opinion, I just love how the story begun and ended. The twist at end the story will scream you like… OMG!!! They both like and fell in love to each other and I’m in the middle of the night and looks like a crazy human. Ahaha
Anyways, I hope to see more of this kind of series.
I would totally say, that this is a masterpiece and super duper highly recommended.
P.S.
The guy is soo freakin’ hot… LOL.

Not all love stories are about romance.
Some stories are told to such perfection that the small details of good and bad fade away and all that exists is the story that you have lost yourself into. You will become a part of it, holding your breath with the characters in moments of tension, screaming in joy when they are happy, and bawling your eyes out when they are heartbroken. You feel their hidden emotions when their love for a beloved soars but instead of telling them "I love you", they only say "It's alright". But you understand. The story doesn’t need to be complicated or extremely clever or universally monumental for it to be sublime. In these cases, the story surpasses the confines of its format and becomes a moment of pure catharsis.Upcoming Summer is one of those beautiful moments when everything in the story just clicks perfectly together to tell a simple story about love, heartbreak, denial, friendship, and the power to brave the hard curves in life and come to terms with what you will rather not deal with.
You might like this movie if you like:
1. Coming-of-age stories
2. Stories about music
3. Stories about friendship
4. Unrequited love
5. Family disfunction
6. Subtle but definitely there, queer representation**
7. If you liked the movie, The Half of it, there is a high chance you will like this too.
Summary: Chen Chen bombs her college entrance exam after a spontaneous night-swim the day before the exam. When pushed to reveal the reason, she claims it was because her boyfriend broke up with her. She names Zheng Yuxing, a classmate who all but skipped the exam, as her beau. This puts both of them under extreme scrutiny at school, much to Zheng Yu Xing’s amusement and Chen Chen's mortification. Slowly, however, the two become friends, and ultimately help each other face the hardships they have been avoiding in their respective personal lives.
Plot: The plot was amazing. I don’t even care if the details were not great or anything. The movie has perfect structure. It sets out to answer some questions: about the truth of what happened the night before the exam, about Chen Chen’s mother, Zheng Yu Xing’s past relationship, and how Chen Chen is going to come to terms with all that before entering the next phase of her life. Every single moment in the story has a purpose. There’s perfect harmony in how each scene leads to the next, how the decisions of each character work in tandem with the other, and they all culminate in a perfect climax where everything is revealed. They manage to create such an enjoyable and emotionally charged experience. I loved it!
Acting: It was also great! Naturally, the actors were all perfect in their roles. I knew some from previous works but not Zhang Zi Feng who knocked it out of the park with her raw depiction of Chen Chen in her moment of crisis. Wu Lei was great but I’ve come to expect that from him. I don’t think he’ll ever grow up in my eyes, though! To me, Wu Lei is going to be “the forever teenage boy”! That said, despite this being his third project I’m watching this year, he was completely lost in the character to the point that I only saw Zheng Yu Xing and not the actor. They both have great chemistry and they really sell the emotional moments. Hao Lei who plays Chen Chen’s mother was also amazing in her role. Everyone else was good.
Music and Production: This movie is about music. So naturally, the music was great. Leitmotif was used beautifully and it just stabs at your heart. I’m not a huge fan of electric music but I still think the choices were appropriate for the movie and enhanced the watching experience. The production was also wonderful. The cinematography was gorgeous. The framings were lovely. The play with light! Oh, the play with light! I wanted to eat the lights!!!! The sets perfectly established the mood and introduced important facts about the characters…perfect!
Rewatch value: Hells yeah! Watch me cry over this movie, over and over and over again!
Overall: To be fair, I didn’t wait too long to watch this but the anticipation was there and I am so happy that it was worth it. Although I’m not a huge Wu Lei fan per se, I’ve come to anticipate his projects and almost always end up watching the works he’s in because they’re always really interesting with good productions and storytelling. This movie is no exception. I just really loved this movie. It’s a little sad, it’s a little cute, and it definitely taps into a raw, authentic emotional source that will stay with you long after you finish watching it. Highly recommended.

Plot but make it spoiler: Yes, there definitely is a small (read HUGE) subplot that heavily signals a lgbtqa narrative. There’s even a little shot that shows couples of different genders being all cute together. So they knew what they were doing. What I want to credit the movie for is how they manage to show and hint at DJ XYZ’s orientation and Ming’s gender without really saying anything. It’s a bit regressive to gush over queer subtext, I know that. But coming from cultures/countries that are nowhere near as open about this stuff as, for example, The United States, it’s a big deal to see any movie that manages to tell profound stories about these matters and characters despite the stigma and the rules and whatnot. I always appreciate the ways a good writer gets creative so they can stay true to their vision and not give into conventional and sterile storytelling. Double Kudos!

Better than Gluttony
First watch gluttony that is pretty bad with its 70 porno vibe, but if you move on to watching wrath after it it actually makes more sense and reminds us that some men suck... the world is not as lovely as it should be and some times people do bad things to survive...No one here is actually lovable... and it is still not close to being any good lesbian representation. But for those who enjoy seeing men being d**** that use women to their advantage, go right ahead. you might just enjoy it.

A short film can be good this one is not...
This veeeeery short film, has potential to be good, but honestly the very short dialog sounds like it was taken out of a 1970s porno, or what I think a 1970 porno would sound like from how it has been referenced to in movies... it feels cheep, 0 chemistry, o emotion just raw lets get down to business.I am not saying lesbians should not feel lust, I´m all for lust and attraction but this shot film just seems to show girl on girl action and not much more.
But hey it is only 4 minutes so you may judge for yourself, all potential nudity is also covered up, for those who are worried about that.

Sweet and real... with a touch of sadness
Dealing with life is not always easy, the choices we make the lies we tells others and ourselves to try to hold on or protect people probably work out better in real life than movies... However this movie did have a new take on lies spinning out of hand with a beautiful story of friendship, moving on and I dare say love with a hell load of pain done well!I loved how this movie took a slightly different approach to puppy love than many high school dramas and even though I know nothing about electronic music, they almost got me sold on it after watching some of the scenes in this movie.
All in all this may not be a feel good movie, and it does leave some questions unanswered but it is beautifully made, touching and will make you feel for these slightly lost soles.
Bonus, it is available on Netflix where I live (rare for c-movies) and a powerful scene marked spoiler.

Had potential to make a statement, but didn't have the guts to do it
The acting and music is great. And it does hit you with a lot of emotions. However, I was unable to sympathize with the FL after the threat she made and carried out. I couldn't see her in a positive light after that and that affected the rest of my experience with the movie constantly trying to get me to like her and feel for her and framing her as a good and sympathetic person. I just couldn't.The actually in love couple (the two ML's) could have ended up easily and happily together if she had just done the right thing. And the ending we did get didn't satisfy or clarify anything. It's clear who Jon Wae was actually in love with. He said and constantly showed who he loved and valued more. See all the dates where he immediately went running to Dong Hwa afterward, etc, etc, etc.
I felt like this movie chickened out of the two ML's being together because of the year this was made in. I have no proof of this, I just suspect it. They couldn't actually have them clarified to be together, just the two of them, in the end because South Korean audiences wouldn't have been able to handle that. So, over half-way through the movie they made it a three-way relationship, but not really. And at the end they suggested that maybe all three were together in the end or just single and friends. This way things can be passed off as Jon Wae still having been in love with Ho Jeong (FL) the entire time and Dong Hwa (ML) was just an "experiment" that he wasn't serious about.
This wasn't like 3 Will Be Free which was a legitimate polyamorous relationship with a Bi ML at the center of it. Nowhere near its level. Not at all.
Basically, the movie should have ended about halfway through.

"Godzilla -- I was hoping I would never hear that name again"
The Return of Godzilla wanted to be a direct sequel to the original Godzilla from 1954. It was a stepping stone to the more modern Hesei era. Darker in tone, with endless political discussions it failed at being a bad good movie or a good bad movie and fell into the abyss of mediocrity. The threat of WWIII loomed over the beginning of the movie when a Russian sub was destroyed by an awakened Godzilla. Thinking it was the Americans everyone was on standby for world annihilation. Fortunately, the Japanese, who had been hiding the fact they knew Godzilla was stirring around once again came clean with the rest of the world and disaster, at least for the moment, was averted.
Serious does not have to be a synonym for boring. I wish that had been the case with this movie. Political discussion, urgent diplomacy, and the threat of nuclear disaster could be enormously thrilling if written and acted well. Again, not the case. With all the time spent on the humans it would have been nice if the main characters had been developed. Again, not the case.
By the time the big guy showed up stomping on the city I was almost on his side if it would stop the self-important discussions. This Godzilla still had the awkward look from the 70's era which was fine when there was an element of humor and it was aimed at kids. This Godzilla was supposed to be the world destroyer though and he wasn't very menacing looking even with the new razor-like teeth.
The action scenes lacked energy as well. I found myself wondering how many people went AWOL when they were assigned tank or helicopter duty in the useless task of shooting conventional and even laser weapons at Big G. There were a few call back scenes from the original Godzilla, but that seemed cheap as the original Godzilla actually had some depth to it.
The only version I had to watch was a badly dubbed version which didn't have much bearing on my rating. I'm used to dubs with Godzilla and kung fu movies. In this one the Russians sounded like they were from Scotland, the Americans all sounded like they were from the state of Texas and the Japanese accents ranged from British, Texan, and from Boston (city in the state of Massachusetts).
The trick to finally drive Godzilla away was fairly bizarre given the serious nature of the movie and quite frankly by the end I think he was just as anxious to leave that mess as I was to finish the movie.

Sweet Innocent Youthful Love
Loved the sweet realistic approach of this movie. It's not the typical happily ever after, yet it is a still a happy ending. So much laughing and crying for this movie. I hope others can appreciate the different beautiful stories. The director seems to go with the ambiguous approach to the ml's ex gf. honestly, she's not that important in the story anyways. yes the ml said he loved his ex but at that age, does anyone really know what love is? he said he wish he could like cc too but does he know that he has already fallen for her? that is what youth is. so many things we didn't know that we thought we knew, that we don't realize until the future but as long as we accept that there are things we cant change and move onto the future, that is all that matters. Was this review helpful to you?
WHAT A GEM
I just finished watching this movie and OMG THIS IS BLEW MY MINDS AWAY.-INTENSE, MYSTERIOUS, BLOODY.
THIS WILL DEFINITELY KEEP YOU AT THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!!!!
KIM DAMI and WOO-SHIK micro expressions are on point, brilliant. The way they portrayed the character is flawlessly beautiful, that I was in awe for some certain moment because how precisely on point their micro expressions are. I wonder how did they acted these crazy, psychopath scenes. KIM DAMI DUALITY REALLY BLEWS MY MIND! But we can’t just leave behind WOO-SHIK PSYCHOPATH ACTING, he look crazy from the beginning.
The other characters too, need appreciations. They’re just great!! I love everyone’s acting.
The story, tbh at first I was confused. Whether to consider this has some supernatural element or not, BUT NO. It’s all the brain works, because they’re all trained, they were subject.
The little hints here and there about Ja-Yoon won’t get notice if we’re nt really paying attention to the movie. Though, at some moment I think they should’ve cut it bit more short for some scenes but all good.
OH AND THE CINEMATOGRAPHY, THE COLOUR THEME OF THIS MOVIE, LOVED IT.
I REALLY WISH KIM DAMI AND WOOSHIK WOULD BE BACK FOR THE PART 2, and new characters too. Because I saw the news, both actors aren’t coming back for part 2, or was it another actress as the main lead instead of kim dami? But I hope they’ll bringing wooshik back too though.

Being remembered by that one person ….the most realistic and simple wish complicated by fate !!
Not some out of the world shit here ….but just something I’d consider worth my timeStory :- Baek Sung Hyun and Han Ji Ah who have been friends since childhood and end up drifting apart, walking out of each other’s lives for good after sharing a sweet young love. But does it end there …(it’s dramaland ...so ofc they’re bound to meet again …!!)
Recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, Seung Hyun is now a man struggling to hold onto the memories he holds most dear. As the memories of his time with Ji Ah begin to fade, fate steps in, in the most unexpected way. Bringing Seung Hyun and Ji Ah together once more, the two have a chance to rekindle their long-lost love. But the time they have together is short....Living with a terminal illness, Ji Ah knows her time with Seung Hyun is limited but the knowledge only serves to make their time together that much sweeter. Cherishing every moment, the two are determined to make the time they have together unforgettable.
As I already said it’s not something very fresh that you have never come across or some out of the world stuff ...it just presents reality in the most beautiful and heartbreaking way ….you know what’ll happen but you’ll still wish for a miracle …
Will your wish be granted …??
why don’t you check for yourself ...
Acting:...decent ...I could see some scope for improvement ...but then it wasn’t bad so I think that it’s okay and you’ll be fine if you are not the type to nitpick on every trivial thing.
The pacing is almost perfect if you ask me, sometimes even a slow pace feels apt ...cuz it actually depends on what you are watching …
...all in all it’s just a beautiful movie ...which reminds us that everyday is precious and every memory is special.
… memories, even if forgotten, once existed ...your heart will never forget the emotion ...even if your brain doesn’t remember the reason …
So cherish what you have ...and make the most out of the given time …for you never know what awaits !!

Out of curiosity i had watch this movie due to Netflix’s suggestion - without knowing that this film will be my fave sad romantic movie ever..Jing Boran and Zhou Douyou amazingly portrayed their characters Jian Qing and Xiao Xiao perfectly..even the soundtrack was also amazing and adds up to the buckets of teard i’ve cried especially when Xiao Xiao read the letter made by Jian Qing for her before he passed away. Imlost for words on how good this movie is…Will watch this some time again and would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to know the real meaning of LOVE.
