Not Bad But Not Good Either
i just finished this movie and it's is a little confusing with all that time skip you kinda had to manually fit the past n the present stories together, to understand the movie n the different faces from their younger selves made it a a little challenging to tell who's who,(and i say manually cuz it felt as if the timeskips were forced into the scenes and it didn't come naturally) unlike most of the comments here on mdl i didn't really find it enjoyable but it was okay~ but nothing more that just an okay movie, i had to watch this on 2xspeeed cuz i it didn't intrigue me enough, the plot was meh and not well executed. I feel like all of the problems could have just been resolved if they sat down and had a proper talk (this is mainly why i gave it a low rating cuz it dint really make much sense here), also lots of people mentioned about the plot twist at the end and i really had high expectations for the end but after watching it i don't think you can call that a plot twist it was super weak and kinda predictableoverall its an okay movie but i don't rec watching it unless ure just bored and seen about every other movie out there

5 stars for getting butterflies flying in my stomach, also with its great production value.
The story was kinda weird, I could say that the relationship between Erika (Fumi Nikaido) and Kyouya (Kento Yamazaki) was toxic but delivered lightly, typical shoujo genre. What makes me bond with Erika and Kyouya is because they are often together even though it is quite annoying because Kyouya thinks Erika is just his dog. Meanwhile, Erika hopes for more, this is shown by her very sweet attention and treatment to Kyouya and makes me fall in love with Fumi Nikkaido myself. Fumi-san was just so kawaiii and make my heart doki-doki.What makes me thinking to give this film 5-star is what I've type above "the production value", usually when I watch japanese manga live action high school romance it's either gonna be bland and flat or exaggerating everything, but this Okami Shojo is right in the middle, balanced.
I love all the settings: the school, Ayumi's house, Kyouya's apartment, Kobe, even just the street. The environment doesn't feel dull, has a great scenery, life inside it was not quiet or weird, just like what it is should be in real life.
The cinematography was top notch, they make useful of all the settings, take a lot of great shot from it, like my favorite one when Erika talk to Kyouya about dating in free time later after school trip, while they're sitting between the pillars in front of the door of a building and DOP taking shot of Erika and Kyouya from inside the building when the door opened and at that moment I realized that this film production team is no joke, it's simple but picturesque.
After that I remember the one take shot at beginning when Erika with her friend, Ayumi, tailing Kyouya to get the pictures of him and then the girls's runaway, I watch it again and it feels so satisfying. Also I realize how great the camera movement throughout the film, truly looks like a real pro. I take a note of the cinematographer name, his name is Yasushi Hanamura, well done.
Next is the sound, they put a perfect song or music for every scene, not just using orchestral sound but a lot of english fun song that I find it rare in japanese film. All the emotion of the characters, whether it's sad or happy it can radiate more with the help of music.
Then the actors, they played all the characters very well, especially Fumi Nakaido and Kento Yamazaki, as one of the thing that makes this film works.
Overall, a very good film imo. I have a lot to say in my mind but hard to put it in to words, so that's it. Thank you.

Broadly, this film tells the story of Momo Adachi's love story which is full of conflict, pain and betrayal. That's what I want it to focus in, I don't know if this film is a manga adaptation or not, if so, it is too much, because it seems that there are actually a lot of conflicts but trying to be included in a film whose duration is not much. Sacrificing the development of the story & character here that looks not optimal, tends to be superficial, so it can't produce any attachment and emotion to me.
It should be make into series with improvements in some parts of the story.

Do you want to see what death is like? - Ai Enma
It reminds me a little of Hellraiser, if the Cenobites are summoned if someone manages to solve the puzzle, then the Cenobites will appear, granting sadomasochistic pleasures, shows a great practical effect and take the ones who summoned them to hell.In this film, there's Ai Enma, the Hell Girl, a mysterious woman who can send someone who you have a grudge against to Hell in exchange for forfeiting your own soul to Hell once you die. But unfortunately the way she taking people to hell is not very satisfying, makes me say "Just like that?".
The other things in this film not making me interested, it's just a procession bringing people to hell that I can say just "okay".
I love you Koji Shiraishi-san, but I'm really not satisfied with your work on this one.

This film actually pretty good from the technicality for sure, how it's uses Teke-Teke POV when it chasing someone was pretty good, but it design not creepy as I expected, kinda disappointed.
Glad that they're not forcing to get a longer duration, 70 minutes in more than enough.

With that great opening in mind then few more kills involving mirrors, obviously I started expecting another some supernatural things related to mirrors, but what I get is detective mystery thing. It's not bad but it's like I'm being kept away from a crystal clear diamond that I could get. I'm disappointed.
For the ending, I don't really understand how it came out like that, made me confused with the concept of the mirror world.
Overall, enjoyable, the technicality impressed me but also at some point kinda dissapointing.

You could say the film shows the daily life of office employees, from their difficulties, joy and fatigue at work; but what I like is when the characters are gossiping about other people or just discussing something, which the characters bring naturally and make it feel funny, I feel like I am part of their conversation.
This film is only about conversations between characters but it's not boring in my opinion and that's good.
There's a weird twist in the end but somehow explain why the main character is a woman but has a man body,

waste of time
Movie starts with a FL in basement room hitting the head of ML with a wine bottle. And suddenly it transcends back in the past and then more 4 years back in past. It became really chaotic and unless you observe deeply you wont the story. Well there was nothing good about the story. Its poorly written, ML keeps the FL in a basement room so that she couldn’t meet with his brother, who loves her. The brother is a drug addict but the two brothers love each other which actually doesnt show in their faces or actions. Its all just in dialogues, so it doesnt make any impact to the story.
ML is a trash, he create troubles and his brother is punished. Then ML hides FL so that she cant meet his brother. And also he feels responsible towards his brother. if someone else was in his place they would have prioritize his brother health and security.
The acting sucks, don’t want to elaborate. What is it if you have a charming and handsome face, it doesnt work all the time, you need to have skills to make someone emotional. Oh yeah this movie is slap/kiss obsessive relationship so it actually makes me angry not emotional.
the production quality sucks. ML brother is in the same outfit throughout the movie. also the leads outfit are repetitive throughout and its confusing that, weather its the present or the backstory from 4 years back.
don’t waste time.

I loved absolutely everything about it.
Usually when it comes to spinoffs, I somewhat panic in thinking they'll somehow ruin the original storyline or ruin the characters for me in some way but props to the writer/directors and everyone else. This is what all spin offs should be like! Like a tree, you have the main story going big and strong, but then you have branches that offer to the main story and I admit there was some information in this movie that I don't remember seeing in the show which kinda left me like O_O
I mean if it was there, I must have blinked and missed it, but that is besides the point.
I loved seeing Wen Ning and Sizhui together! This is what I needed in my life! I loved the storyline and how they stayed with the original story but made it their own, if that makes sense? I love stories that are like this.
All of the characters were amazing and well played, in my eyes, no one else could have done better.
That plot twist threw me though, lol usually I'd like to think I'm pretty good at guessing what was going to happen or who the bad guy is but I don't know if it was because I was just so excited or if the movie just really blew me away that when the plot twist hit, I got whiplash. XD
You know I had to give this a 10/10. If I could give it more, I would!!

A must watch
I watched the drama(prequel) about how they met when they were 17 in fujisawa and thru this found live. A few years pass and they are graduating college when nagisa breaks Shun hearts and tells him theirs no future. Nagisa get married as told and has a daughter. Shun disappears and is happy in the countryside until nagisa shows up with his 6yo daughter sora and tells Shun he's sorry and misses him. Shun at first doesn't except him as he was hurt really bad, but nagisa tries to reconnect with him and asks his wife for a divorce and takes sora with him. Then slowly trouble begins as his wife shows up trying to take there dtr by force and in court as she fights for custody, they show that sora wants to stay with her dad and Shun. While growing up sora didn't feel any different of not having a mom, but that that people couldn't understand they love the saw way. All these countries need to open up there eyes and see we are all different but are also all human. This drama/movie gives a beautiful story about acceptence, forgiveness and how society can slowly adjust. A must seeWas this review helpful to you?

Interesting~
So at first I wasn't going to watch it because it seems that almost everyone didn't like it. But I still wanted to give it a try, and wow... I don't get the negative comments about it..?Some people said it contained too much sex scenes and well, it's rated 18+ so you should've known it before starting, I guess. Also, some said the storyline is not clear or illogical. I think it was so clear and I understood everything, except the last part, which they left it like that on purpose. But isn't it easy to think that Night was just in Wine's imagination, and Wine probably committed suicide in the prison?
The acting was so good, especially Wine (Fluke). He portrayed the character so well. Some people are saying his character wasn't good and he didn't actually like Night, but I think it's obvious that he is mentally not ok. Also, he wanted to get blood for Night, and that's why he acted like he still loved the other two guys.
I don't think it deserves the hate it gets, people are just too critical and see what they want to see...

Though it is a mystery thriller movie, it is hard to keep attention. I even didn’t find it so suspenseful.

Not big fun
I'm not big fun of this movie. I think charakters are without special personality, but in the same time story was cute. It was a little bit boring at the beginning, but after half it starts be interesting. I mean maybe I didn't understand the main male character at the first moment, but still... I'm not fun of this acting. Main female character was a little bit annoying. She has a difficult live, i understand it, but I have no idea why sh was acting like this. I'm giving 5 stars because I like this ending, views and supporting characters. And honestly I don't get it, falling in love with man who is mean and undecided. In he first time I didn't see that he is in love with her. Maybe a little bit. This movie was just fine, I think I'll forget about i really quick.

Too long and boring
There is nothing so special about this movie. The movie is bit boring but I must say, It comes with an unique concept.SERIOUSLY! Who ever think of presenting fake animals in a zoo?Though I found the movie boring and too long at the first, the middle part is full of fun elements.Espeically , their practising part and presenting themselves as real animals is really funnyy.Besides, comedy scenes I didn’t find anything interesting.Again the ending seems rushed.
The artists did a amazing job, can't blame them for story. Moreover, they did the costume part, which are really heavy. So,all credit goes to them for presenting a worst story with a better view.
So,better not to watch.

A Fun, Touching, and Beautiful Exploration of Life, Family, and Love
This beautiful movie takes a fun premise and expands it into something so much greater. Embedded in a plot full of hilarious situations and slapstick dialogue is a touching tale of a life long-lived, a family well-built, and difficulties hard-overcome. Without much more than a few brief flashes to the past and the incredibly emotional and soulful singing of our protagonist, a tragic but full life shines through the incredible acting of the lead actor, culminating in a story to relive her youth once more how she always dreamed it, all of it perfectly encapsulated in the final song "One More Time." Every plot line, character, and dream is perfectly set up without the viewer's notice, only to come back later on in the movie and hit you in the gut with emotions: sometimes overwhelming joy, and sometimes painfully beautiful tragedy. At it's most basic, the movie delivers what the premise suggests: a fun comedy of an old grandmother in a young woman's body. The premise is well explored and delivers every moment you'd want from it. But on a deeper level, the movie finds great meaning and purpose in the transformation. Throughout the beginning, the protagonist's talents at singing when she was young is often reiterated, along with the occasional mention of her long forgotten dream of being a singer. When she suddenly regains her youth, not only is it meaningful on a physical and story level, it is meaningful to the protagonist herself, as she is given a chance to finally fulfill her dream after always doing what's best for her family.
Family is an incredibly important theme throughout the movie. Be it conflict or accord, arguments or appreciations, everyone is deeply connected in an important and visible way. This is beautifully portrayed in well-written and well-delivered dialogue. No conflict is accidental, no tension goes unexplored, and the deeper you delve into the family's true relationships, the more love you find woven into it. Amongst the love is tragedy: things taken from those who deserved so much better, sacrifices made in service of loved-ones. The bond between parent and child is so strong and striking it brought tears to my eyes. These moments are earned, buried beneath the everyday commotion until extraordinary circumstances unearth them, and that makes them all the more powerful.
Love, romantic love, is also deeply explored in the movie. Nothing is quite so simple as to have a "main lead" and second lead" or even a "villain," because every character's relationship and personality is so much more nuanced. An supposed enemy might, under different light, appear to be an intimate friend, and relationship decades old may hover directly on the border of love and unbreakable friendship. What is true love? What is just physical attraction? How do you know which is which? Perhaps these questions are unanswerable but we can still weave through them, finding their intricacies and changing with the situation. It's unlike any other romance you might encounter.
At the core of this movie- and what makes it so profoundly impactful- is soul. Feeling. Interactions are built on years of history, relationships on decades of connection. The acting perfectly displays the soul of each character, their past and their present shining through their words. Most incredible in the main lead's actor, who is perfectly convincing in the mannerisms of her actions and words, and who manages to layer every song she performs with so much emotion it stops you in your tracks. Every song that's performed carries great emotion and meaning, layered with the past and the personality of every character (but especially the main lead). I cannot express how perfectly the music in this movie accompanies, elevates, and reinforces the themes and stories and- most importantly- the soul. And it only gets better with every re-watch.
This is a movie with incredible depth where you least expect it. And by that I mean everywhere. Just as my rating suggests, it's a perfect story with perfect acting, perfect music, and perfect soul. The deeper you go, the more feeling and emotion you find, and for that it will always hold a place in my heart. I highly recommend this movie (which is now one of my all-time favorite movies), and implore you to watch it immediately.
