First time watching this ever

I didn’t really hop on the Mario Maurer craze back in the day so this is my first time watching this movie. To be honest, it wasn’t all that and I mean this in the nicest way possible. Plot-wise it’s nothing new, even in 2010. I’m especially not on board the trope where they made this naturally fair-skinned actress tan so they can say/imply she’s ugly THEN when she suddenly loses the brown paint after “puberty”, they made all the boys fall for her. Kind of off-putting. Then again, I do have to cut them some slack since this movie was 10 years ago.

Acting-wise, Mario Maurer wasn’t impressive but he wasn’t bad either. I feel like he did the best he could with this poorly-written character. Baifern, however, did phenomenal especially at 18 years old. She was able to show off different kinds of emotions and gestures throughout the film. I have to say though, the teacher/adviser was HILARIOUS.

I feel like this movie was most people’s first Thai movie so sentimentality largely affected their ratings. If I first watched this back when I was younger, this movie would probably hold a special place in my heart so I completely understand where people are coming from. Hell, I probably would rewatch this when I just want a movie that isn’t complicated and so complex. And, I mean, who doesn’t like a light, slow-burn romance?!

Close knit

I really enjoyed this film it reveals a lot about life that's what I love most about it, it shows the real world in just two hours.

you would feel connected to the film. you feel the emotions of the actors you feel the story it's really a beautiful story I really love that the author and the director shows us true feeling and the truth about lgbtq Plus it showed the hard part of being a transgender that this people need babies but can have them naturally and theat the Society keeps judging them

But at the end even if you're transgender you can still have a family love and be solved with the same woman love that real women have doesn't matter who we are love always conquers love always finds its way deep within also I like that this film shows that if we are pressed or suppressed our children and not show them that we care about the way they feel and not support them that things happen but if you support them and walk with them show them your love don't make everything normal in-between your terms but let the normal be within each person and let us live life to the fullest with our own not what the next person's normal

The premise of this "Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald" reminded me a bit of the American movie "Noises Off" (1992), with Michael Caine and Cristopher Reeve. And indeed both are adapted from a play, and both portray the crazily funny misadventures of a troupe. Whereas that one was written from the point of view of a director, though, this one is actually done from that of a writer. And as anyone who's ever tried writing professionally will be able to confirm, it is surely based on the many frustrations and troubles writers have to go through (unbeknownst to the vast public, the final version of a script has often little to do with its first draft; some of the changes have sound reasons - like budget restrictions, for example! - but it might often happen that retouches are actually caused by frivulous motivations - a long list of which is funnily depicted here! ^__^)
Just like that other movie, though, this one as well suffers from some silliness and some exaggerations...so the script is very good but not perfect.
The cast is great, and refreshingly so imho due to the absence of high-school-aged idols, LOL (particular mentions for the always great Toda Keiko and Nishimura Masahiko!)

Stupid Movie But Nice Cinamatopgrahy

I mean, I suppose people who don't care for a strong plot and things that make sense would like it. It just seems like a movie for the villain. They have all the power and the protagonist is struggling to breathe. You can make this a metaphor for shit but I don't buy it. We also have another case of DUMBASS COPS. Convenient moments in the plot that gives power to the villain such as the Dad arriving right at the moment the protagonist rejects the villain's instructions to tell her how she gets caught.

The whole timeline and time travel made no sense. Our protagonist is stupid as FUCK. And our villain is able to overpower three men but stood no chance against one mother who was strong and determined because of her love for her child. She was stabbed multiple times yet the villain didn't get one vital point on her???

Then we have the real stupidity. Our protagonist GETS NO MEMORY of past events as they have changed only the scars and consequence which makes no sense. If she had the memories she could at the very least have a fair chance to outwit the villain. BUT NO, the villain is OP.

What is even worse is that ALL the protagonist had to do WAS SHUT HER FUCKING MOUTH UP once she knew this bitch murdered two people and not tell her she got caught. LIKE WHY? You have proof she KILLED TWO PEOPLE. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN TRY TO CONFRONT HER. Like WHO THE FUCK TELL A KNOWN MURDER THAT THEY WILL GET CAUGHT KNOWING THEY CAN CHANGE THE PAST.

Perfect movie if you decide not to use your brain for two hours.

The Call has a lot of pros, not gonna lie. The acting is amazing, especially from Jeon Jong Seo. Her character is truly the best part of the whole production. You end up loving and hating her at the same time. Jong Seo's portrayal of the initial vulnerability that moves into the direction of desperation and then madness is an intriguing ride.

Park Shin Hye is good. As good as in any other production she was in the past few years, as she is playing exactly the same character. Kind of strong and driven to survive, but not really. Sometimes making smart choices, but that are built on a chain of dumbness. There isn't anything fresh or interesting about her.

The other characters are barely there, only serving the purpose of moving the plot forward or being an external motivation for the two main characters.

The visuals - truly stunning. That's the part of the production that shows a lot of work and planning. The moments when two worlds are colliding and affecting each other was done in an exciting and beautiful way.

So what is the problem?
I'm fairly certain that Lee Chung Hyun did not have a storyboard for this project and he could not decide what exactly are the rules of the time. He presents a linear concept of time (compared to "alternative universes"), when past events affect future events. One reality, but two different points in time. But the way the movie presented the concept was as if the two timelines were parallel and progressing the same way.

Currently happening event in the past affects the currently happening event in the present, but we don't see how the past plays and affects the present in between these events, as if the time between these two events does not exist. The past is the past. Seo Yeon should have access to all the information about the events that happened, not just the ones currently happening in the parallel timeline. Not to mention the fact Seo Yeon had no memories of the past events that affected her. Why?

All events in the movie happened in the linear way, except for the ending. Which was also not explained. The plot twist just opened the door to so many plot holes. If you could call the past at any given time on that timeline, why didn't Seo Yeon use it to her advantage?

The more I think about the way the plot was structured and the time connection explained, the more I get annoyed. It truly looks as if no time was put into making sure the events follow any line of logic. On the surface, it's the basic "action-reaction" deal. But when you start asking questions, you see that time travel/connection plot lines cannot follow this simple logic, because that's what makes them illogical. As time is not that simple...

Anyway, I can see why people enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining for most parts even though quite predictable. If you won't try to understand the logic behind the events or the rules of the time aspects, you will like it. So, the piece of advice: put your brain on the shelf before starting it.

The cat is one of the most painful horror movie I've watched as I watch the movie a week ago..I remember that I watch this movie before in Tagalog dubbed I really love this movie I gives you shocking and scary experience the did their best specially park min young and the ghost kid I love the flow of the story on how the kid ended in that situation.. I feel the sadness and the pain I also cry a river thinking how the kid suffered and her guardian didn't notice that she was there and also the last part that park min young sees the past of that child.. I really love this ❤️

Such a nice movie!

I was worry about that it won't be my taste..but I was wrong. I’m satisfied now, finally I found a movie what I like..with zombies. (anyway I don't like movies where are zombies, but this one is worth it to watch).
🎬 The story was just like any ordinary, average zombie-movie, but this movie had this little pinch of romance, and also some lesson how to work with someone, and felllowship(?). l something metaphorical about the COVID-19 going on nowadays. And also I have seen some metaphorical references to COVID-19 going on today.
The zombies here were much more scarier than in other movies, just because this movie want to show us how dangerous some virus, even it's not looks like dangerous.
But of couse what I loved about this movie is the happy ending! Who hates happy endings, am I right? ;) Plus points for that! But I hope the movie creator give us some more type or movies OR they produce a sequel! aw
🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻 Anyway the cast was also great! The main cast was perfect, and also their acting skills was..omg! I loved every minute and every second.
The support role was also fine, without objection, impeccable. PERFECT!
⭐️ Overall, a 9/10, very thrilling and super fun to watch, even tho I don't like zombies, I fall for this one uwu!

Brace Yourself

I'm not sure what I expected from this movie but I truly feel I enjoyed it more than expected. You don't have to be an EXO fan to enjoy this masterpiece. The storyline is something I haven't seen before so that was refreshing in itself. Of course the acting was on point. I don't have the relationship with my brother that I'd like, so the story in general hit me personally. I had moments of anger but luckily I laughed more than anything. I can proudly say I didn't shed a tear but have no shame in admitting I came close SEVERAL times. The vulgar language didn't bother me at all but it's definitely something to remind yourself is going to be frequent af. Considering I don't go out of my way to cry , my re-watch value is low but as an EXO fan I couldn't go on without watching and it's oh so worth every bit of it!

Story: It's not unique and I have seen similar body swapping movie like freaking Friday (English movie from 2003) but still it was told nicely with well balance of comedy and drama, I was engaged throughout the movie. My only problem is the way that it was told, I feel it would work better as a drama than a movie because of the pacing you can feel they are rushing due to some parts of the story are told through as a montage. The story would work much better as drama also because the characters were not developed that well to make me connect, comparing to freaky friday movie which is a story of mother and daughter living each other lives after swapping bodies and throughout the movie they developed more and more understanding towards each other that movie I feel more connected and related to the characters whereas this story about two guys that has no relation to one another, just two strangers on the street.

Acting: the acting is excellent in the way both lead actors portraying each others' characters.

Overall a fun casual movie to watch to relax and have a good laugh.

Well, the magic of the movie is in the plot twists, so once you know what will happen it kinda loses a bit of its entertaining value, but I'm not one to rewatch any movies at all so maybe I'm not suitable to give my opinion at this. I'm giving 7 out of 10 because this movie is almost perfect and I really can't give a score below 7 for this masterpiece, but in reality I'm not watching this again.

Watch the movie yourselves, you'll not regret it I promise. The plot is so well done that you'll be shivered and entertained from start to finish.

you will NOT regret watching this movie even for 100 times!

I highly recommend this movie not just because of the good acting or/and story line. The connection between actors is something natural which I really liked cause it feels like you're watching two guys healing their relationship and facing their fears. it's like you're going through the problems and solving those problems with them.
I also believe the director did a great job. not a single scene is boring and the story is so rich and eventful that you want to re-watch it once it's finished.
I'm looking forward for another bl movie as good and happy as it is ;)

When tolerance runs out what then?

I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. The plotline is a little insane and fanciful but it entertained me. When you've been with your partner for 10 years, is the love the same or have you just grown accustomed to eachother? When the tolerance runs dry what happens then? You long for something new. When left alone to your own literal devices, you crave companionship.

That is what ultimately happens with Xiao Feng and Hao Wen, the tolerance for eachother wears out; Xiao Feng gets annoyed by Hao Wen's piano playing and Hao Wen gets annoyed by Xiao Feng's presence cause he can't seem to find the inspiration for his music anymore and it leads them to seek understanding and love from an app that gives them a companion that seems all too real to be true. Can an artificial heart fill the void of human love though?

I personally enjoyed the acting in this movie and loved the chemistry between the actors. Not much to say on that except I felt every emotion and never felt stale.

The music was beautiful ( mainly the songs composed by Hao Wen) but didn't leave much of an impression.

The visual fx were great.

I wouldn't mind watching it again out of pure enjoyment or when I have nothing else to watch.

Fast paced thriller with mild brain twisters

I kept this movie in planned to watch list long back after impressed by the trailer.finally watched it.This film has smart time traveling elements to it.There was no ambiguity in understanding two timelines and the concept was brilliantly executed within 90 to 100 mins.

It was not difficult for me guess the muderer.But still it was intresting to watch till completion.Both male leads are already my favorite.
Heroin also a familiar face from "Chicago typewriter " drama.Surprisingly that drama also had part period film/Part present scenes/Rebirth concepts like this film. All actors did their job best.

It was not boring anywhere I havnt affected/touched when main charcter dies.it may be because there is not deep scenes to show the main pairs love due to time constraint of the film.But within 1 and half hours showing 2 parallel stories and with different period of time is a great job.
Climax also gave me satisfied feel. So its really a worth film to spend ur 1 and half hour time. One time watch for sure

LOADS OF PLOT TWISTS

So overall this is a great movie, although I don’t understand the ending (probably my fault for not understanding)

Pros: fast paced so even though it is a 2 hour movie I never got bored because something new is always happening. And i love their acting!!!

Cons: i feel like they need to explain more about the mother (the shaman) she is not the main character but I feel like she is crucial enough to the movie that she deserves more explanation.

And this is just my personal opinion but i wish they would also explain more about what actually happened in the past originally. They did explain it but it would be interesting to see what happened without just giving clips and bits of the past
