As a long-time viewer of His Man, I feel the need to share my disappointment with the current season. A show I once admired for its honesty now feels very different in tone and structure.
The elimination rule changes the essence of the show. A dating show should focus on emotional growth and genuine connection, not pressure and fear of being sent home. The elimination ruined the atmosphere and relationship between Jae-ho and Hyeog-jun. It was clear that they still loved each other, but they didn't get a chance.
This season feels rushed and tense instead of natural and honest. I don't know if I'll have the energy to finish it!
If you're planning a fifth season, I sincerely hope you reconsider the format. Many viewers are disappointed, and I'm afraid that continuing in this direction may cause even more fans to stop watching the show.

A Horror BL that's actually scary

This BL truly is amazing. I want to keep this spoiler light so I won't go to in-depth but I really want to commend the series for its balance of the romance and horror plot.

I've seen an other review say that they felt like the sweet romance between Thup and Singha didn't work because it doesnt suit the overall tone of the show and I have to heavily disagree. I loved the more or less cookie cutter romance between the two because they were a nice refresher after some of the more unpleasant images of corpses and ghosts. So the romance part was really well executed expecially because there was with the small exception of King no unnecessary drama in their relationship with no real misunderstandings. King's villain arc in their relationship could've easily become overbearing and annoying but they've concluded that part of the story rather quickly.

The Horror Plot was really good tho with one or two minor flaws but still it managed to be actually scary and made sense (for the most part). The ghosts were scary, the real killer/culprit was good if kind of predictable and the music and cinematography added to the overall eerie atmosphere that the supernatural aspect of the show was going for. There was however one thing i found slightly stupid (if i didn't misunderstand that part of the show). How tf did the police not check the spot were the seven bodies were found the first time again? Like all of the victims for the second ritual were just chilling there for a few days and no-one thought hey let's maybe check the last crime scene!?!?!?!?! Yeah idk about that part but I'll forgive it since characters in horror stories typically aren't the brightest.

Definetely 10/10 tho would recommend 100%

Carrying the casket

Touching and meaningful. In the Love Track series, the main plot is love with the addition of certain original elements, but in this episode, the romantic relationship of the main character is actually an addition to the real story — saying goodbye to a dear person who has passed away. The whole story unfolds during the funeral ceremony, so this drama is also educational in showing how Korean funerals are held. I have actually been to one funeral in a Korean church, and I helped carry the casket from the church to the car, so this particular drama was very meaningful to me.

The final images of this drama are also very touching, in a good way. We all have to say goodbye to someone we loved (or rather, not loved, but still love, because death cannot kill love), but we say that goodbye with respect for the life that was lived and with hope for the life that is still to come. There was no priest at this funeral, but there is hope, and I recommend watching this if you have the chance.

Starts out bad, but it does get better ...

I went into this series hoping for a good foxtail story. My all time favorite drama is Tale Of The Nine Tailed with Lee Dong Wook, so I was a little disappointed after the first two episodes. The character Eun Ho was not likable at all, putting a major damper on the story line.
However, if you give the series a chance, it does improve as you get into the third and forth episodes. The story becomes a bit more in depth and the main protagonists finally begin to jell together. Lomon gives a good performance, adding a good chemistry with Hye Yoon ... but like I said, you need to give it time for this to happen. By episode 5 the series had me, and it was extremely enjoyable from that point on.
The only major negative I have, is what I hate in any of these dramas ... when you get to the final episode and you see "Three years later, Five years later, Nine years later" It never seems to click with me. So much time has passed, yet everyone looks the same, everyone has the same feel like it was an hour earlier instead of a decade later. That said, it was a good ending. Could it have been better? Yes, absolutely, but overall, it was enjoyable.

A Heartfelt Fantasy About Choices, Consequences, Love And True Self.

How should I put this, this series is one of its kind. On paper it looked like a cliche story but in delivery it stands complete on its own, This story need attention and time not quick jumps- and that's what makes it special.

Lets start: 
The story follows Eunho, a 900-year-old gumiho, who refuses to become human and stays true to her choice until the very end. At its heart, the series is about living life on your own terms, owning your choices, and facing the consequences — no regrets.

The plot is structurally-written. There are no loose ends, and unnecessary plots, every character gets a satisfying conclusion. Every scene connects seamlessly, so the audience isn’t left questioning “what just happened?” It’s neatly packed. The direction is good too, though there are a few sudden cuts here and there — noticeable, but not enough to ruin the experience.

Acting & Chemistry:

Kim Hye Yoon as Eunho is an absolute delight. Portraying a 900-year-old gumiho, she adopts an older, more structured tone and speech — and she nails it. Her comic timing has always been strong, and it lands perfectly here as well. Her sly, foxy attitude and bratty charm are a joy to watch, and that heartbreaking outburst in ep 11 and that beautiful, strong silent emotional delivery in ep 12, IYKYK are just Chef’s kiss 💯😍.

Lomon shines as Kang Siyeol, taking on a sensitive and delicate character for the first time. He delivers a nuanced and convincing performance, showing real promise as a young actor.🫶

Even though this isn’t your typical romance drama, the chemistry between the leads feels like a perfectly layered cake — consistently engaging without ever feeling forced. With each episode, you keep wanting more of “them.” The rest of the cast also delivers strong performances, and the OST complements the mood beautifully, even if it isn’t particularly groundbreaking.

Verdict:
If you enjoy reflective, emotional fantasy with light romance and comedy, I completely recommend this but if you’re chasing high-stakes, steamy romance, out of the box oscar level story telling look elsewhere.

But this is something I personally wanted to address.

I came across a Reddit comment claiming Eunho didn’t learn anything by the end because she chose to remain a gumiho — I strongly disagree.

Some people missed the core point of this series. In episode 12, Eunho recalls her unnie’s words and admits that living life her own way, owning her choices, is exactly how life should be. That’s the real narration — not just for her, but for all of us watching.

This drama is about making your own choices and facing the consequences. Every character — Eunho, Siyeol, Woo Seok, Lee Yoon, Jang Do Cheol, and Gumho — navigates their own decisions and outcomes.

Eunho chooses both kang Si yeol (her love) and her life as a gumiho at the end, and Kang Siyeol chooses Eunho too. Both of them know the consequences of their choices, yet they make them anyway — because they’re trying to stay true to themselves and to each other. They love themselves and each other in every form and shape, leaving the rest to life to play out as it will.

By the end, it’s clear what Eunho learned — and what we, as the audience, can take away too:
If you don’t stay true to your core identity, no amount of convincing yourself you’re happy will truly work. But if you choose to be true to yourself first, and then love others from that place, the relationships will bloom. True love starts from within.

My favourite show of 2025

What a wonderful drama. It was not perfect, but in a way it also was.
This was an incredibly heartwarming show full of quirky, silly, loveable characters, it made me laugh so much, but it also made me sad and angry and tear up. It is overall not a particularly realistic story, but it deals with very real topics, and the way in which the more serious aspects were addressed and highlighted in this otherwise often hilarious drama, without undermining or ridiculing the issues it talked about, deeply moved me.

This is a beautiful story about found family, about people who might not always fit in, but can still find their place in this world, about equality and dreams and being happy, it is comforting and made me smile, but also serves as a reminder to keep fighting and demanding the same rights for everyone.

There are a few minor details that could have been written a little bit differently to make me like this show even more, and some topics are explored in more detail than others when I would have appreciated them getting the same attention, but overall I still loved this show and its characters so much and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
Just don't binge-watch it, this one needs to be savoured and I am glad I watched it weekly and not all at once.

This turned out to be my favourite show of 2025 and may even become one of my all-time favourites when I revisit it in the future. Which I surely will, this is definitely going to stay a comfort watch of mine.

The plot is dark and intense.

Trigger Season 1 2025

I had heard this series name many times, so finally I watched it between 7 and 10 February 2026. Yes, it is a good series. The very first scene was enough to make me continue the whole show. You may have seen that scene on reels. A young man enters a college classroom, takes out a gun from his bag, and shoots the teacher and students.

This is an Action, Crime, Psychological Thriller series. It is based on a “what if” idea. What would happen if guns suddenly started getting delivered to every home in a country that was previously gun free?

Story: The plot is dark and intense. It is not just about action and gunfights. It shows how even an ordinary person can become violent when pushed into desperation.

Acting: Kim Nam-gil plays a calm police officer very well. Kim Young-kwang’s mysterious character feels unhinged and chilling.

My Opinion: If you liked tense shows like My Name or Squid Game, then this is a must watch. The pacing feels slow in some parts, but the social message is deep. I give it 8 out of 10.

Love in the Clouds: Where Hidden Identities Lead to Genuine Hearts

Their interaction is filled with delicate romantic tension, conveyed through lingering gazes, small gestures, and light dialogue that build a deep emotional connection. Ji Bozai delivers a stunning performance as an intelligent and calm figure; behind his composure lies a meticulously planned strategy to avenge the teacher who once saved his life. Despite a dark past that makes it difficult for him to trust others, Ming Yi’s presence slowly melts his defenses, leading him to choose to protect and forgive her even after being lied to repeatedly.

On the other hand, Lu Yuxiao demonstrates an incredible acting range through her character's transition from a cold goddess of war to a seductive and cunning dancer. Ming Yi is depicted as a selfless protagonist; she is able to distinguish between personal matters and the greater good, even sincerely helping Ji Bozai protect the Jixing Abyss from various threats. Their relationship, which initially began with a mission to find an antidote and a fake marriage to protect her identity, gradually transforms into genuine love after facing various life and death obstacles together.

Technically, the drama is a feast for the eyes with its elegant cinematography and dreamy visuals. The use of CGI to build the xianxia world appears seamless and not over the top, creating a stunning yet grounded aesthetic. The detailed, luxurious, and aesthetic costumes, combined with an emotional soundtrack, successfully heighten the atmosphere in every romantic scene and battle. The combination of these elements ensures high and consistent production quality throughout the story.

Although it tackles heavy themes of revenge and power struggles, the narrative of Love in the Clouds remains light and entertaining thanks to well placed humorous scenes. While the final episodes feel slightly rushed toward the resolution, the solid acting performances from the cast compensate for this flaw. With a satisfying happy ending, this drama is a must-watch for fans of the costume genre even for those who previously found xianxia too magical or unrealistic as it perfectly balances action and emotion.

It's shockingly a good drama this 2026!

Okay—hear me out. Watch this drama.
I honestly wondered why it isn’t as popular as the other drama currently airing, because, in my opinion, this one is actually a little better.
At first, I didn’t plan to watch it. I still couldn’t move on from When Destiny Brings the Demon, the previous drama of Arthur Chen, and I also wasn’t a fan of the female lead.
But to my surprise, after just one episode, I ended up staying awake until dawn binge-watching all the available episodes. It’s that good—you can’t help but crave the next one.
The acting, the plot, the chemistry, the roles they portray, the plot twists, the setting, the mood—everything simply works. The acting feels natural, the chemistry is convincing, and the plot twists are timed just right so you end up smiling before an episode ends (or cry when you have to 😅).
This is easily one of the best feel-good dramas out there. I especially love how the cast brings the story to life.

Story: 6/10 – Fun concept with a modern gumiho twist, but uneven pacing and a rushed ending.

Acting: 6.5/10 – Some charm from the leads, but chemistry and emotional depth are inconsistent.

Music: 7/10 – Pleasant OST that fits the fantasy-romance vibe.

Rewatch value: 5.5/10 – Cute moments exist, but plot holes and uneven storytelling make it less rewatchable.

Overall: 7.5/10 – Entertaining for casual fantasy-rom-com fans, but not standout or highly memorable.

Was Expecting Someone Better But Was Disappointed!!

The tale of the nine-tailed fox, albeit with a twist!!

There are too many shows portraying the infamous “Gumiho” or the famed nine-tailed foxes. They are mystical, magical and intriguing. The show draw inspiration from these verifiable sources, to project a nine-tailed fox with twisted tendencies. That is at least new, because I have never seen a more money-minded gumiho in Korean shows before. Our main lead, Eun Ho loves to bend fate and control humans, at the cost of a lame payment. Her so-called deals allow her to lead a luxurious life while she strives hard to shy away from humanity. Everything is well until she switched dates between two men and Heaven punishes her by stripping her powers and turning her into a measly human being. Both main leads have their own flaws; the male lead is arrogant & narcissistic, while the female lead is money minded and greedy. The plot focuses on their arc of redemption!
