Feels like watching common Idol Drama
I watched this after Wang Nan and Chen Minghao version. Although i quite like Zeng Hui-Han Yutong as actor and CP, but compare to previous drama i mentioned, I feel like watching idol dramas since Tinghuadao loves to minimize melodramatic effect to appeal general public. If you follow the CP drama, you will know their recent drama was generic; male chases female with strong FL and flirty ML, nothing innovative comes with this CP.FL's character is a significant improvement; she's much stronger and less prone to abuse. Her ability to fight back and save herself in dangerous situations is much better than in the previous version. However, this change also reduces the dramatic tension making this drama lack of depth. Virginity parts were removed which is good choice.
Zhao Tingyi's acting is really good, with strong explosive power and rich emotional expression. I hope he can collaborate with Han Yutong in proper romance drama (I know the drama starts both of them but i think his character was questionable one on there).
Overall, the cast is strong, and the costumes, makeup, and filters are all good. It fails to make me amazed because the script is mediocre lack of emotion depth.
Only for hardcore fans.

This story rewards patience and attention
This series is for viewers who are willing to slow down, pay attention, and actually think. It doesn’t spoon-feed its story, and that’s exactly why it works for me.The comedic elements are very intentional. They’re not there just because Ramil is a “goofy vampire,” and Punn’s seemingly unbothered attitude isn’t indifference, it has purpose. In fact, Punn is a character you’re not meant to fully understand at the beginning. The confusion is part of the experience.
What may initially feel like plot holes gradually make sense as the story progresses. If you stay with the series, you’ll realize that many details are carefully planted, and the twists and turns are genuinely rewarding. This is a story that reveals itself in layers.
The relationship at the center of the series is complex and deeply intertwined. Their connection feels like going in circles, almost fated, and it becomes clearer over time how each choice, memory, and moment matters. The story wouldn’t be what it is without that journey.
To be fair, my main issue with the series lies in the editing. Some action scenes, especially knowing how much effort the actors put into them, didn’t translate as well onscreen as they could have. A few editing choices weakened moments that otherwise had strong potential.
Is this series perfect? Of course not. I’ve never watched a perfectly flawless series. But this one resonated with me deeply. Its themes, characters, and narrative ambition made it something special. And perfect for me.

Drama that actually dares to entertain...
How Dare You, also known as This Is Ridiculous, is one of those dramas that knows it is a little over the top and just runs with it. And honestly, that is part of its charm. It does not pretend to be deep political philosophy. It is here to entertain, poke fun, and serve romance with a side of sass. The story kicks off with a strong female lead who does not sit quietly in a corner waiting to be rescued. She talks back. She questions. She dares. The male lead is not your typical cold stone statue either. He has layers. At first, you might think, here we go again, arrogant man meets bold woman. But slowly the dynamic shifts. There is banter, tension, and actual growth. That is what makes it fun to watch. The romance builds through clashes, misunderstandings, and those classic moments where pride almost ruins everything.
The cast does a solid job. The leads carry the drama well, especially in emotional scenes. They manage to balance comedy and sincerity without making it feel forced. Supporting characters add color instead of just filling space. Some are dramatic, some are chaotic, and some are surprisingly wise. It never feels empty around the main couple.
Production wise, it looks polished. The sets are well designed, especially the palace and noble house scenes. Nothing looks cheap or rushed. The cinematography is clean, and the lighting in romantic scenes gives that soft glow without turning everyone into a candle. It feels high quality but not flashy for the sake of it.
Now let us talk about the costumes. The wardrobe team clearly understood the assignment. The female lead’s outfits are elegant but practical, fitting her personality. The embroidery and fabric choices give that classic historical drama feel without going overboard. The male lead’s robes are structured and sharp, matching his status and character growth. You can tell effort went into making each look meaningful, not random.
The OST quietly does its job. It is not the type where you instantly add every song to your playlist, but it fits the mood. The background music lifts emotional scenes and softens romantic moments. When tension rises, the music follows. It supports the story rather than overpowering it.
As for relationships, this drama actually shows something refreshing. Yes, there are break ups, misunderstandings, and moments where you want to shout at the screen. But when they come back together, it is through communication and personal change, not just dramatic declarations. That is what makes it feel healthier than many other dramas. Love here is not just obsession. It is learning to respect and stand beside each other.
The ending ties things up in a satisfying way. It does not drag endlessly, and it does not leave you confused. It gives closure, growth, and a sense that the characters earned their happiness. Not perfect. There are a few loopholes and convenient plot turns, but nothing that ruins the ride.
Overall, How Dare You is witty, dramatic, and surprisingly heartfelt. It knows when to laugh at itself and when to get serious. It is not flawless, but it is done right. For me, this is an excellent drama.

Liked the emotional approach in this drama
Actually i watched this last year because of Wang Nan. I quite familiar with Li Sheng Nan face since most of her old drama i watched on dramabox and i liked her acting but her script are basically damsel in distress FL. Both leads are delivers their character into a life. I know this version wont be people favorite but i personally hold this drama even it was not perfect but based from emotion depth this version wins. This version finally captures the essence: ML's deep, restrained affection over many years, finally reaching the moment he can openly and forcefully possess FL. The emotional entanglements are depicted more delicately, and the character of the SML is more compelling.
SML's actions and words are also more logical in this version. He didn't relay FL's brother's message about "taking care" of the FL; it was the her brother's own decision. He didn't directly kidnap the FL; he rescued her from the kidnappers and then imprisoned her—but this still caused harm and remains unforgivable act for sure.
In the end, SML admitted that SML had previously kept the FL like a caged bird, loving her and not wanting her to escape his control. Initially, SML did indeed treat FL as a substitute for his ideal woman, only slowly realizing his love after she left.
Recommended if you want to see more emotional driven drama.

What I liked about it:
The storyline was good, unique and interesting, with many twists and turns. The first 2 episodes got me hooked to watch more instantly! You have to watch each episode carefully to discover more, so it was not boring at all.
Pacing was ok too. Every episode was dedicated to unveil each past history / person Sarah Kim ever got involved or in touch with.
Acting and the casting of actors was magnificent. Shin Hye-sun was able to deliver all emotions that were needed for this show. She just proved how versatile and great of an actor she was! She was a very convincing main character villain, to the point that it was what drove the mystery of the whole drama. I wanted to know if her character was ever sincere or not.
We have some handsome actors too! Lee Jun-Hyuk, Shin Hyun-Seung, and Kim Jae-Won!
A lot of quotable quotes that would make you think and reflect.
What I didn't like about it:
Pacing was ok at the start but last two episodes felt rushed. Ending could have been better. Justice was served but was it really??
There were a lot of plot holes left too, there was no closure for some of the people Sarah Kim got involved with, and also for the detective. Honestly, the police department was useless till the end, so what was the point of them being there?
Is the show even meaningful or just 8 episodes of superficial nonsense?
Anyway, it was a good short watch, a new plot for a k-drama. The show overall, was a light mystery, not too gory or dark. If you're into fashion, high society, rich people drama like The Penthouse, Sky Castle, Return, this one could be for you.

I'm sorry
Great premise, poor execution. If you are here for the message, this episode is great and teaches a valuable lesson about relationships. But if you want a good drama, it doesn’t have a very good flow. The premise is that a couple in a marriage crisis searches for a missing wolf from a zoo, but they are so incompetent in the search and capture of the wolf that I don’t see the point of the whole search—unless it was simply a way for them to have some alone time and learn how to say sorry.I respect this short drama for giving married couples a nice reminder of their love and for offering a solution instead of a breakup. I also like the idea of treating wild animals as an allegory for how we treat other people. So, the two valuable lessons I got from the wolf here are that humans are indeed sometimes wolves to each other, and that approaching a partner can be as dangerous and challenging as approaching and taming a wolf.
We have good actors here, but their acting was a bit exaggerated. They behave like little brats instead of mature grown-ups. Luckily, they suit each other ;)

High Expectations, Low Execution. IM DISAPPOINTED.
When I first read the plot of Dare you to Death, I genuinely thought it had the potential to become one of the best BL dramas out there. The crime storyline was strong, the concept was intense, and the chemistry between Joong and Dunk off-screen is undeniable. So naturally, my expectations were high...And that’s exactly why I feel disappointed.
Let me be clear: the acting wasn’t the problem. The cast did well. The OST was good. The visuals were beautiful. The twist near the end was actually interesting. But the execution of the story didn’t match the potential of the script.
From episode one, there were too many coincidences. Things happened too conveniently, and some important details weren’t fully explained. If you watch it casually, it’s entertaining. But if you try to really analyse the plot, some parts just don’t make much sense.
The biggest issue for me was the relationship development.
Kamin and Jade had potential. We saw parts of Kamin’s past — why he’s cold, what shaped him — but Jade’s background felt underdeveloped. We’re told things about him, like how he’s never liked anyone before, but we’re not really shown it. That emotional build-up was missing. Because of that, their relationship felt rushed instead of deeply earned.
And this is where I feel the directing and production let the drama down.
Off camera, Joong and Dunk clearly have strong chemistry. You can see it in interviews and behind-the-scenes content. But in the drama itself, that chemistry didn’t translate consistently on screen. It felt like something was holding it back. The emotional tension could have been stronger if scenes were directed differently.
Even the production choices were confusing at times. For example, the fire scene in the last episode didn’t feel realistic. It looked fake, and instead of feeling tense, it unintentionally felt awkward. That moment should have been intense and emotional, but it didn’t land properly.
There were also unresolved details. The house burns down — but What fully happened to the doctor? Some events are implied rather than shown, which makes the ending feel incomplete.
Overall, I did enjoy watching it. It wasn’t terrible. But it didn’t reach the level I expected after reading the plot. The story itself is strong. The crime aspect is interesting. The twist was good. But the pacing, missing details, rushed relationship, and inconsistent execution made it feel like something important was missing.
I honestly believe it would have worked better with more episodes, stronger direction, and deeper emotional development.
It had the potential to be unforgettable.
But for me, it just didn’t fully deliver.

Interesting premise but Predictable: Good-looking leads + good chemistry
Subjective Gut Rating: 7.75“Koifure: Situationship Is Just Right” is the perfect title, because everything in this drama is just right…as in average. The premise is interesting though - two individuals who want to enjoy everything positive about dating without falling in love and no physical intimacy.
“Koifure” is a very predictable and light watch. Because the drama is only 7 short episodes (20-25 minutes each), it was unable to really spend a lot of time within each stage of the relationship. They meet quickly, develop feelings quickly, fall in love quickly, and become a couple quickly. If the drama is longer, it can spend more time on the getting-to-know each other stage, a little more push-and-pull and even some angst once koifure has ended, before eventually getting together. The ‘traumatic experience’ didn’t really seem traumatic enough to cause both leads to be scared of falling in love, especially for FL.
Having said all that, I have a pretty good time watching this, as I treat this as a comfort watch and not looking for something extraordinary. Hiaguchi Kouhei and Kawazu Asuka make a beautiful couple and their chemistry is good. Higuchi Kouhei is just as handsome as ever. I actually like him here as a handsome nice guy, more than the manga-like cold, toxic male lead in “My Personal Weatherman”. He has big expressive eyes, especially when looking lovingly at FL. There are some emotional scenes that he did very well. Kawazu Asuka’s character is the typical manga shojo female lead. She’s kind, friendly and cute. But luckily, she can still express her feelings and communicate honestly. I was worried she’s another naive pushover.
The supporting cast is small but very likable and good-looking. The acting is not overly dramatic or cringey. Suitors of the leads are nice and not annoyingly clingy or frustrating. The bartender and his specialty cocktails are hilarious.
I would recommend “Koifure” if you are looking for something predictable and easy to watch with an adorable couple. However, if you want to be surprised, this drama is not going to satisfy you. I am rounding this up to an 8.0 because of the handsome Higuchi Kouhei and his smize 🙂

Definitely worth watching
Since I’ve only watched the first episode I’ll base my review on that aloneThe show definitely had me smiling the whole time 😭 the interactions were adorable and felt so natural. I’m already invested in how their bonds will develop. Also, shoutout to their handsome producer thriving in his element.

Annoying FL ruined the Drama
The writers really ruined this series. I don't know what they wanted to portray or what kind of story flow they were going for. The plot just revolves around the second lead having a romantic storyline with the female lead. They should’ve focused more on woojoo – he’s the main character after all. That’s why the title is 'our universe'. The storyline should have been how both the young uncle and aunt manage this sudden parenthood, all the struggle, how both balance their work and home. The only one who is balancing both is the uncle, taking Woo-Joo to his workplace, faced issues because of that, sometimes sacrificing his opportunity for WooJoo, he even has character development, and developed chemistry with Woo Joo. Meanwhile the aunt is just having her own office romance drama( which has no connection with Woojoo)🤦♀️Really not loving this. Everyone is watching this drama for the baby not for the annoying FL.

I loved it!
I haven't written a review in ages, but I have to for this series. I loved it. It was one of the best I've watched in years, and I've watched a lot. I think it's very underrated. The title is "Fight for Love," and that's exactly what happens to all the protagonists. Everyone fights for love in their own way. Both the main characters and the supporting characters were very endearing and had their own stories. A series always captivates me if I can both laugh and cry, and this one definitely delivered. The actors played their roles exceptionally well, especially in their emotional expression. To anyone who's unsure whether to watch it, I recommend just giving it a try.Was this review helpful to you?

Classic K-Romcom Art
Her Private Life follows Sung Duk-mi, who live a double life, a professional and talented art curator at work, and a dedicated fansite master in her private time. She eventually meets her new director, Ryan Gold, who discovers her secret. It’s a classic romcom and full of clichés, yet it still makes my heart flutter. The series does a great job exploring the world of art curators and their daily work, as well as the vibrant and sometimes obsessive life of fangirling. This was pretty new for me to watch.
The story moves at a fast pace, which keeps it from ever feeling boring. That said, I started to dislike the plot in the last third of the series. It falls into the usual cliché trope of a childhood connection where the characters were unintentionally linked in the past but this one felt too stretched and over-the-top for my liking.
The chemistry between the leads is adorable and spot-on. Park Min-young plays her usual professional office role and she executes it perfectly. I loved her character and her stylish vibe. Kim Jae-wook also shines with some really enjoyable comedic moments.
Overall, it’s a solid, feel-good romcom that’s definitely worth watching.

a lot packed in (a bit too) short movie
Taiwan delivers one of its great works. The plot could be quite ordinary, but the film's brevity is perhaps its strength. In a few key moments, a few glimpses of light on these instants, we see how the two main characters' paths cross and their lives become inexorably intertwined, bringing light to each other.
The casting and acting are truly at the service of the film, and it's easy to understand why 48 minutes seems too short.
...will we be lucky enough to see the series produced?

Melody of secrets — Music to the ears of a thriller x romance lover
I usually don't write reviews, but this one is SO underrated and has so much unnecessary hate that I HAD to write oneU got it right, this is indeed music to a thriller series lover's ears. I say this because there were so many plot twists after plot twists, and they all made sense. When you sit down and watch it once it's done airing, it's gonna make a lot more sense, and you'll GENUINELY love it.
Sure, maybe the series isn't for everyone, mostly because of the plot twists and all, and I've seen a lot of people say that they couldn't comprehend the plot, and sure, I will say that there were some confusing parts, but they were usually making sense over the next few episodes, SO UR DOUBTS WILL BE CLEARED.
I've also seen comments that say the director shouldn't have played an important role, but I personally think he ate his role and I think all the actors did a fine job, be it the main actors, Force and Book, the support actors Jan, Junior (ESPECIALLY JUNIOR), Boun, Ployphach, Botpleng's mom (she did SOO good to), Botpleng's grandma and Jamie. The guest roles also did really well (whom we will not name for the sake of not ruining the plot)
Everyone did SO well, and I definitely recommend this series. PLEASEEE don't sleep on this series. Give it a chance.
That being said, every drama DOES have its bad sides. I will admit that the first two episodes felt a little dragged and somewhat vague. It wasn't holding that THRILLING aspect yk, but the more the characters didn't trust each other, and the more the plot started revealing, the story got WAY way better. Most of the plot twists were so uncalled for, and it wasn't that easy to figure out what was next, so you'd be shocked every single plot twist (hopefully 🤞)
THANK YOU FOR READINGG, please give it a try 🫶

Perfect balance
A gentle, melancholic rhythm portrays the contradictions and prejudices that bind the three characters. It shows how the expectations of adults, and then of society, lead them to walk a tightrope between love, friendship, silence, and the desire to break free from these constraints. The balance between the three characters is perfect, and the film is perfectly in tune with its time and its changes.
A must-see!
