The crazy @ss stunts that Jackie Chen does, he is fearless, & does not stray from danger, and crazy!

**This was SUPPOSED to be Jackie Chen's last Movie, and he was supposed to retire... Hahaha... L-I-A-R!!!***

(I usually write with the 1st letter of all my words in capital letters, I have wrote like that practically my whole life, but I had one person, one person complaint that it was hard to read, as if they were a school teacher grading me, or as if I'm getting paid to write a review. Anyways since this is my next review, I'm going to trying and write this review this way!!!)

1st I want to say I use to Really Like, and respect Jackie Chen ALOT, because of his acting, and all the crazy insane stunts he does. I really ended up liking him, because he sang a song, and in it a verse he sing is this is not my world, this is not your world, this is our world. I don't know if he wrote the song, but it was a really nice song, and I liked it alot!!! Especially because of the meaning.
But about a year ago I found something out about him that I am very Disappointed in him about, it's about his Daughter... Reserch, and look it up, maybe you'll find the Story. Anyways all I have to say is no matter what, she is still his Daughter. I'm shocked An Actor, more like a comedian could be the way he is to his Daughter.

WE SAW THIS MOVIE ABOUT 14 YEARS AGO in 2012, so I might not have the greatest memorie of the movie anymore...

Now about the movie... Ha ha ha all I remember is my mom saying she wanted to go watch a Chinese movie the day we saw it, I wasn't really wanting to watch it, and she couldn't tell me what it was about, she didn't even tell me Jackie was in it. All I remember is she wanted to see it so badly, I forgot I had to work that day.

Anyways when we got to the movie thearter I saw a sign, and I saw Jackie in it, I told my Mom, and she said that's the Movie I want to see, I told her how come you didn't tell me Jackie was in it... She said she forgot, I told her I almost didn't want to come, because I didn't know who was in it or what it was about.

The movie itself was action packed, and the stunts were just Insanely crazy!!! It's about recovering the heads of the 12 Chinese Zodiacs. In the Movie they were Chinas most prise treasures, not sure in real life how true that is, because they looked like they were all made of bronze. Not even copper... I do have to say the stautes head of each one was really cool, and neat. The heads themselves were bigger, twice as big as a human head, maybe even 3 times bigger. Being bronze, I can imagine, they were quit heaving to carry or lug around.

Jackie was some type of undercover spy or like a person for hire I guess, and his job is to recover all 12 of the Chinese Zodiacs heads. It's not easy getting all 12. I remember the very last Chinese Zodiac head being the hardest to get back, I believe it was the Rat Zodiac head, but I could be wrong. I remember thinking to myself oops, and there goes Jackie character, he's going bye bye. The ending, and the last Zodiac Head he had to get was probably the most craziest thing I have ever seen anyone to ever do in a Movie or Drama. Let me just start by say this if this wasn't a Movie, but was real life, there's no way in h*ll Jackie would have servived or lived. NO WAY!!! NO HOW!!! All I can say is even though the ending stunts was awesome, I was terrified, and really scared for Jackie!!! And Seriously all I remember is the beginning, and the ending... You'll have to watch to find out what happens at the end.

All I can say is the stunts that Jackie Does are Insanely crazy... So about I mentioned the ending, I know going backwards. The very beginning was crazy too, and it just starts into this scene, there is no slow start!!! You see someone laying down on something that kind of looks like a bomountain, at a high rate of speed trying to keep up with a van q, mind you there way up in the mountains on a zip zapping road. While laying down in this bob slieghd thing this person is able to monouver it left, and right or around curve. Not only that... Changing in to one wheel skates while still going down the mountian, and catching up to the van, holding on to it.

Sorry, I really don't remember anything else... It's actually really funny I only remember the beginning, and the ending. That how good the stunts were in the beginning, and the end.
Oh, and by the way the end credits song is sung by Jackie Himself... He thanked all him fans for all there support though out the years at the end, it was a pretty heart gelt message to everyone, and sound like he was going to retire, but I guess not.

The question of the day, would I watch this again??? H*LL YEAH!!! Just for the stunts, and action packed Movie.

good for the cooking scenes but it is a bit slow

At the start I laughed a lot with their scenes, but after some episodes it stopped being funny at all. The slow pace and the ML made me drop it.
The cooking plotline is attractive and made me want to try the recipes. However the ML was not to my liking. Most of the characters are annoying...

Since this drama is pretty recent, the scenery, the production, the costumes and make up are sublime.
Some of the side dramatic plotlines are interesting and well done. The time travel accuracy was okay

Very interesting and good

It took me alot of effort to start this series, especially the first 5 series. This is because I couldn't tolerate the Female Lead's - Wang Yu Wen - acting for the first 5 episodes where she literally (please in my PERSONAL OPINION) is a royal bit** and a pain in the ass. Do not misunderstand me, I love her shows but this one, for the first 5 episodes especially, was tremendously hard to go by. After the 5th episode, I gradually grew to finally like the female lead character again and managed to finish watching this series successfully.

Overall, the show is very interesting, keeps you on edge, exciting and funny. It also shows how 5 students from different backgrounds, wealth etc managed to become bosom friends in their 4 years in school. It is also amazing how they trust each other and care for each other. It is definitely a good watch, not a very long series (only 24 episodes long) and if you want action and some mystery, this series has it too! I would say that this series has a good balance of seriousness and comedians - especially the part where a female enters an all male school. It is a good watch - for first timers - but rewatch would depend if you like the series in the end. For me, although I love the series, I can't do a rewatch unless I skip the first few episodes. =)

The songs paired to this series is very beautifully paired and nice. If you are a fan of chinese music, something worth searching for.

Hard watch ngl

okay so first off, I've seen worse. I'm thinking the actors tried to portray the best outta the shitty plot. The acting wasnt great at all nor necessarily terrible... I'd say okayish. As my personal opinion, definitely don't recommend. It's all scattered, having unnecessary scenes, and overall felt very rushed—which ofc an episode lasted about 10mins. And not to mention it felt like those highschool budgeted film projects..and almost worst. I think overall it could've been portrayed better and maybe like that it wouldn't be such a hassle to finish (I barely could even if it was 10 mins each ep.) So, in a nutshell it was disastrous.

When I started this, I thought this would be some fun fantasy transmigration drama.

The beginning was a bit unpolished and jolty. What kept me going was the refreshingly modern closeness between the leads despite not being a couple yet. The way they outsmarted the palace people every time to keep each other company even at night, was a satisfactory watch. There was this immediate trust foundation from the very first meeting between them - probably because they were "of the same kind". And even though some things changed later on, they kept supporting each other. All their interactions were one of the driving forces of the story.

At first the plot seemed chaotic and with no purpose, the common thread only became apparent later on when the story progressed. Only then the real excitement started. At some point the drama's atmosphere changed alot when certain secrets came to light (at least for the viewer). It added more depth and darkness to the story and also made the characters more palpable and reasonable. That was the moment I started to be fully invested in the story, was shocked and moved by the ML's past and even created a soft spot for him in my heart. The outstanding performance of the male lead which defined an interesting and complex character, played a big part in that.

Although the lead actor was incredible in what he was doing, the rest of the cast should be mentioned as well. No matter how small the role or how little they had to say, each and every actor/actress played their part exceptionally well. None of them felt like amateurs. I cried as much for the side cast as I did for the main couple.

Another personal thing I enjoyed a lot were some smaller details that included some medical knowledge. Without telling too much, it was interesting to see how people treated certain things in the past and how they counterattacked while I was connecting the parts and compared them to modern times.

The final episodes had something of a roundabout closure. Things that appeared in the beginning and which were almost forgotten, fullfilled their actual purpose at the end. That created a moment of cognition and felt nice for a change.

Emotional and moving songs, emphasizing the moment, beautiful costumes of the leads and well done kisses were other things to support the overall mood.

Conclusion:
You'll definitely get more than what the poster and summary give away. Highly recommended to those who enjoy well written complex characters, magnificent acting and a well thought out story that rather lives by its people's stories than by some "over the top" plot twists. The story - except for the supernatural transmigration part - felt pleasantly normal.

Better than the Special!

I loved this movie even more than the first, and it’s because I saw a side of Shiro San from beginning to end that was vulnerable and expressive of his love to an extent that I hadn’t seen in the episodes or the first movie. It’s like his heart was cracked open- from the Kyoto trip with Kenji to staying at home for New Years to be with Kenji and standing up to his parents, saying that their withdrawal of their welcome of Kenji was “unbelievably cruel..” and then his “investigation” of what was going on with Kenji when he went to the hospital etc. to get his thinning hair situation checked out, and Shiro’s fearful assumption that Kenji was dying, and thus his pouring out of feelings in those last scenes, I was genuinely impressed. It’s very rewarding when the stoic man who doesn’t hold hands, kiss, or hug is blooming with emotion. Not to mention, his look in the sunglasses at the end, Kenji said out loud what I was thinking from the beginning: that Shiro San looks like Tom Cruise (except better).

Innocent Love full of respect and harmony

The story itself is refreshing with adorable ML and FL. ML is a perfect husband character with wonderful traits of a man and FL is self-preserved, self-respect, kind, patient and extremely hard working with personal goals and dreams. Both give the drama a heartfelt harmony and peace. I love the directing, beautiful scenery, humble costumes, and the selection of ML and FL. The only negative parts are the 2nd ML and FL. They are so out of place in this drama. It's as if the director wants to create something exciting (sexually charged) portions just to attract certain viewers looking for steamy parts. I just skipped all their parts without even affecting the story. It baffles me when some viewers are in love with the 2nd ML and FL. To me they are so irrelevant like a separate drama cut and paste into this drama. Overall, I really enjoy watching it.

Your Arrival Coincides with the Spring Time (2025) is a nice romance miniseries with Yu Long (as Bo Yun Qi) and Yang Mie Mie/Yulin (as Tu You You) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a goof job bringing their characters to life and the romance, although it a slow burn one, is nice to see it developed. The ending couple did well in their interactions but the female lead was insecure for most of the drama and the antagonists had too much screen time and nonsense going on. Overall, the drama is good since the leading couple performed their characters very well and the end was lovely! Enjoy it!
In the meantime, this drama can be found in YouTube under the caption: “Her Fiancé Dumped Her for Best Friend…He Never Knew the Cold CEO Had Already Crowned Her His Queen!” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX0oMNGf9xs&t=181s)

Two Things I Don’t Understand

So I just have two major complaints about this show.

1. How does a BB gun make a real gunshot sound? The guy shot his gun into the air, which was what got everyone’s attention, but the gun turned out to be a toy gun? I must have missed what happened there because that made absolutely no sense.

2. So the guy is driving with his pregnant wife, and these crazy kids are riding motorcycles recklessly in front of them and shooting fireworks back at them. Um, why does he not stop his car? Instead he keeps driving behind them, tailgating them to be exact, and crashes. Whose fault is that? Stop your damn car!!

I really didn’t pay too much attention otherwise. There ma have been other major holes I didn’t catch, thankfully.

I See The Intention But... Such A Wasted Opportunity

I've never tried writing a review before but I'm watching BL's for over three years now and I wanted to try writing it. So please bear it with me.

Dare You To Death was one of the tough ones to watch it. Writing in this series is... well to put it kindly: childish, sloppy, unprofessional. I understand the intention when they produced this series. But, my god the story just kept getting worse and worse each episode. Irrational behaviours of police officers, stupid decisions of the victims, jarring tonal shifts from romance to "mysterious" murder scenes... The list goes on and on. Firstly, writer/s clearly did not know how law enforcement bureaus work because the errors that have been made during solving the cases is just stupid. Knowing the potential victims but not providing them protection, not asking for a full autopsy report for the first deceased, or even not interrogate the suspects/victims fully in a police station is wild. And these things I mentioned here is just a glimpse. Anyways, there is so much to talk about the script of this series; but if I get in to that, it'd be full on spoilers so I'll cut it short here. It's just full of many illogical things that doesn't even cover up other story plots and left us with a whole bunch of mess.

The acting very surprised me. In my opinion, we saw the potential of Dunk's acting in Heart Killers. He was really good in that series. But unfortunately, Joong kept getting the same roles over and over again which is a very boring caracter type for me, we couldn't see his acting range. But in this series, I believe he really outdone himself. both Joong and Dunk. They both play different characters from their previous works which is refreshing. And seeing Joong in a character that can actually show emotions was really nice. Their acting really carried this series.

If I really have to say something about the music, its just boring. GMM has stock music/sounds to play in certain scenes. And they used those musics so much that using it here too is just feels lazy at this point. Also, the production quality was a mess either. Especially for a series that's been produced for Netflix. The audio issues were jaw-dropping. The editing that caused tonal shifts were horrific. At one point, It felt as if the production team didn't like certain people who were involved in this series so they tried everything in their power to ruin this show. And clearly they succeeded.

It's such a shame that these good actors were wasted in such a sloppy series. The only reason I gave this show a high overall rating is the acting in this series.

As I said in the beginning, this is my first attempt to write a review. I know probably not many people will see this review but if there are things you want to discuss or just talk about the series, let me know so that we can discuss it.

let's be honest it's a cliché classic you'll actually love

✨ THE GOOD (YES, I’M A HYPOCRITE):
it’s a full-on cliché childhood ties, soft glances, seasonal metaphors, emotional confessions in the breeze.
and both you and i know what? i ate it up.
the chemistry works. The cozy vibes work. The emotional beats, when they hit, hit just enough.

🙄 THE “WHY ARE WE STILL HERE?” PACKAGE:
this sh*t stalls. a lot.
like fu*k… you already have enough material. MOVE.
some scenes exist purely to stretch runtime meaningless pauses, extended staring contests, slow walks into fuc*ing nowhere.

🤦 THE “YOU’RE A CLASSIC FOR A REASON” ENERGY:
it’s predictable. Extremely.
you’ll guess half the plot by episode three.
but it’s that familiar, comfort-food predictable , the kind you don’t mind revisiting.

💔 THE “STOP WASTING MY TIME” DEPARTMENT:
the story has enough emotional fuel already (i do not say digged enough into it).
it didn’t need the extra padding.
trim the filler and this would’ve been tighter and way more satisfying tbh.

🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
an as always cliché romance that works because it knows the formula , but overstays its welcome sometimes.

✔ Watch if: You love classic romantic tropes and soft seasonal vibes.
❌ Skip if: You need originality, momentum, or zero stalling.

🌸 Best paired with: Blanket, tea, and accepting that yes , you’re enjoying a cliché, and that’s okay.

Waste of time

This is my first review on here, so I'm sorry if it's all over the place.

I watched this drama despite the poor rating because I like watching shows about time travel. Said time travel was pretty much the only thing I liked about it.

First off, the camera work was all over the place, giving us angles we didn't need, and the slow-motion shots (which I don't like in a good drama) were WAY too long.

The only thing I have to say about the actors and make-up is that Marc's eyes are bloodshot throughout pretty much the whole series, and it was very distracting.

The pacing of this show was okay at first, but by episode 7, I was watching it on 1.5 & sometimes 2x speed to get through it because I was interested to see how they would end it.

Soda's character is a silmball. He was already an asshole for hitting on someone else's boyfriend, but then he encouraged Bamee to treat Kiao like shit, and fired Kiao so he wouldn't be around Bamee.

The series could have also just been 10 episodes. We didn't need the drama of Bamee getting amnesia. In fact, the way he was acting during that time is something that would have driven me back to the past if I were Kiao.

Now to the biggest problem. WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT ENDING!? How was anyone working on this project okay with it? Did no alarm bells go off, or flags go up when they read the script? Why? It could have ended in several better and less creepy ways. Kiao could have just never returned to the past and lived his life the best he could. Everyone could have forgotten about each other, and they all live happily ever after in their separate lives. If Kiao needed to remember because it was a lesson than he could have moved on romantically to someone else! Why did we have to end this with a 40+ Kiao kissing Bamee who is under half his age!? You can't tell me that anyone is going to be happy about their relationship when they find out. Also, Kiao is so much older that there's a major power imbalance in the relationship, and unless something happens, Bamee is going to live a long time after Kiao dies. I just don't understand what they were thinking. Were they thinking?

Overall, this series was a waste of my time and left me feeling disappointed. CREEPY ending with no satisfaction.

quirky, and mostly charmin, but it feels like it borrowed half its energy from a Pinterest board.

✨ THE GOOD (THE SWEET SPOTS):
light, breezy, and positive , exactly what the title promises.
the leads have very good chemistry , their moments genuinely feel warm and fun.
some scenes actually made me smile like an idiot, not just shrug and watch.
it’s the kind of show that feels cozy even when it makes weird choices

🙄 THE “COULD YOU NOT?” PACKAGE:
the pacing sometimes moves with the urgency of a goddamn nap.
plot progression feels politely sh*t , like this drama is sipping tea and very unconcerned about being edited.
some character beats are predictable enough you start finishing their damn lines.

🤦 THE “WHY DOES THIS EXIST?” ENERGY:
it leans heavily into other shows similarities to the point where it almost forgets to make things interesting.
great vibes, super weak conflict , or at the very least no true coast to what happends
you watch cute interactions and yes stollen from other shows (busness proposal scenes)… then you’re in another filler scene about how wholesome everything is mostly (i guess the title shall never be forgotten).

💞 THE “IT’S NICE BUT SAFE” DEPARTMENT:
nothing offensive , althought they tried.
nothing shocking, even when it shout some contrevertial stuff ama say
just gentle, mostly comfy tbh, which is fine. but sometimes fine feels like vanilla ice cream with only one scoop.

🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
a soft, cozy rom-com that delivers pleasant vibes… even if it doesn’t give you anything memorable.

✔ Watch if: You want easy feelings, sunshine energy, and low mid drama.
❌ Skip if: You need stakes, tension, or characters with consistent conflict.

🍵 Best paired with: Tea, comfy socks, and zero expectations for intensity ,this one is calm at all coast, cute, and doesn’t sprint.

Welp that was a mess

Dare you to death has an interesting premise - JoongDunk as police officers try to solve a case that somehow is revolving around the game truth or dare. Over the years we have seen especially Thai BLs getting more complex stories and this was really exciting to me.

And then I started watching.

First of all, how the hell is Jade (Joong) still allowed to be involved in a case where his BROTHER is a prime suspect is beyond anything I can understand. No, Kamin telling him to step down does NOT count because obviously, no one else is actually kicking him out. At that point I knew, I can't expect much from the police work.

But holy cow, that was the worst police work I ever had to witness. If the drama would handle the police work poorly but then deliver 100 % JoongDunk love story perfection, I could excuse it. But their love story is weirdly paced and doesn't fit the whole big picture. If they would flirt and kiss A LITTLE less maybe not everyone would have to die. Also, not them trying to talk someone out of killing someone UNSUCCESSFULLY and then keep trying that the next time I'm so MAAAAD IT DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST 3 TIMES WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Why the hell did they let Champ live is beyond any comprehension, might as well just kill him too.

The script could have been much better.

Dunk's acting improved, but there is still a lot he can work on. I'm willing to look past that if not for some truly upsetting kiss scenes. Especially ep 10 kisses made me tear my hair. Why did the director allow Dunk to leave his eyes open like that? Why does he look like he doesn't really wanna be kissed by his BOYFRIEND? There are moments and situations in which having eyes opened during a kiss scene can be hot. This was not one of them.

I also can't understand why the director told Joong to act down in that lil blooper at the end of ep 10. I'm getting a headache.

The music is good tho, I really like 'Dare you to love'.

Rewatch value is the lowest I can give because I never wanna see this mess again, even though JoongDunk were cute in it. If it comes with the price of my sanity I'd rather wait for a new project of theirs.
