A quite homophobic series
PLOT: Complicated friendship-love relationships within a group of LGBT friends. Top (rich, attractive, and a playboy prone to one-night stands) is in love with Mew (prideful and virgin). Ray (rich, lonely, lost, and Mew's best friend) is also secretly in love with Mew.Ray occasionally sleeps with Sand, a musician at the bar everyone frequents. Boston (with whom Top had a one-night stand) refuses to let this relationship end there, and although he sleeps with Nick from time to time, he schemes and relentlessly pursues Top.
All the characters in this series are gray (even Mew), but Boston is twisted, even perverse (Black Flag). And I don't sympathize with Nick, who is masochistic for desperately clinging to someone so toxic.
Similarly, Boeing is a total Red Flag, more insidious, and therefore more dangerous.
+++ Excellent production and talented actors, without a doubt.
+++ Excellent OSTs
### This series portrays all gay/bi men as unstable, unreasonable, manipulative, even toxic. The image it presents is actually quite homophobic ๐·°(৹˃̵﹏˂̵৹)°·๐
The only healthy couple is the one between the girls!!
=> I'm rather disappointed by this series, although I like the actors. I feel sorry for them having to invest themselves in such a sick storyline.

+++ Excellents OSTs
### Cette série décrit tous les gays / bi comme des personnes instables, déraisonnables, manipulatrices, voire toxiques. L'image donnée est en fait assez homophobe ๐·°(৹˃̵﹏˂̵৹)°·๐
Le seul couple sain est celui des filles !!
=> Je suis plutôt déçue par cette série, bien que j'aime les acteurs. Je les plains d'avoir à s'investir dans une histoire aussi "malsaine".

the story touch my heart
Light Shop is a deeply atmospheric and emotional drama that tells the story of people who are trapped between life and death. From the beginning, the drama creates a mysterious and eerie mood that immediately draws viewers in. The concept of a quiet shop that connects souls who are unable to move on feels symbolic and meaningful, making the story both haunting and thought-provoking. Each character carries unresolved regrets, pain, or unanswered questions from their past, which is why they remain stuck in this in-between space. The drama slowly reveals their stories, allowing viewers to understand their fears, hopes, and lingering attachments. Some moments are unsettling, while others are surprisingly warm and comforting, showing that even in darkness, there is still light and compassion. What makes Light Shop truly powerful is its emotional depth. It is not just about death, but about life, choices, and the importance of closure. The performances feel sincere, and the storytelling is quiet yet impactful, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own lives and relationships. Overall, Light Shop is a meaningful and memorable drama that beautifully explores the fragile boundary between life and death, leaving a lasting emotional impression on its audience. Was this review helpful to you?
little sad but gold
See You in My 19th Life is a touching and unique drama that tells the story of a woman who cannot forget her past lives and carries all of her memories into her current life. This concept immediately sets the drama apart, as it blends romance, fantasy, and emotional healing into one beautiful story. The female lead’s ability to remember every life she has lived becomes both a gift and a burden, shaping her personality, decisions, and relationships in a deeply emotional way. The drama explores themes of love that transcends time, destiny, and reincarnation. Watching the main character reunite with people connected to her past lives is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Her calm maturity, contrasted with the emotional scars she carries, makes her character very compelling. The romance develops slowly but meaningfully, supported by strong chemistry and sincere performances from the cast. Overall, See You in My 19th Life is a drama filled with warmth, sadness, and hope. It reminds viewers that memories, even painful ones, shape who we are and that healing takes time. With its beautiful storytelling, emotional depth, and thoughtful message, this drama leaves a lasting impression and stays with you long after the final episode. Was this review helpful to you?

Didn't Match My Expectations!!
Somewhere down the line, I wondered about what I was watching!!While you are watching this show, the lines between morality and ethical practices blur. Ryeo Un looks simply exhausted and utterly lost playing a serial killer, on the verge of redemption. The way his character goes about executing things, makes you wonder if he is righting the wrongs or continuing them for his own agenda. Frankly, this role doesn’t suit him. I don’t understand why he chose to play this character, but it is obvious that the casting directors were off their mark. This train wreck demands intervention and is carried forward by the remaining two main leads, who somehow sustain the drama. Lee Woo Gyeom is a medical school dropout caught experimenting on people. His victim count demands legal retribution but his carefully woven story of developing a miracle cure demands silence. The court itself is left in a dilemma, whether to punish him or let him continue with his experiments. This show toes the lines between morality & legality, while questioning medical ethics.

Plot was common but leads are decent.
I watched this drama on last year of January so i have big impression of this drama even though i didn't know the FL names but i preferred this version even the lead were unknown names (I still try to search their name until now)The "green tea" adopted daughter and the heartless so-called family members can be ignored; the sooner you get rid of them, the better. ML is handsome and protective of his wife, and FL is beautiful and strong, achieving success through self-reliance and turning her life around
It's worth learning from this drama and recommended if you don't mind violence and verbal sparring

It was rare to see Elder Romance on short drama
I watched this on Dramabox back then and it was rare to have elder romance drama since most of people was quite uncomfortable with this theme (I have watched countless drama with same theme on J Drama and there is nothing wrong to get elder romance, I quite like J-Drama Second Chance to Last Love for one example). It was actually decent for short drama level and the plot was generic rich man with poor woman together for fake marriage. But the kissing scene was quite safe and the couple has chemistry which is quite better to look. It feels this drama was like test water for this genre.
Only recommended if you can tolerate elder romance.

Love in the Laundromat
Don't be swayed by the rating I gave. This was for the technical aspects and script limitations. The contrived kiss at the end. BUT it did leave me smiling and in a better mood. Light, different meeting spot - bonus and for two actors that didn't visually have much chemistry, it was okay enough to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Illogical plot and scriptwriter loves bad guys.
I watching this drama because of Song Yujia compared to her previous drama, this drama was quite letdown in term of plot. I don't mind with soul swapping theme but the problem of this drama lies with the character logic. The chemistry between Xong Yujia and Ling Xuan was really good but the plot and character hold the problem.ML character has major plot holes. He's clearly had a long-standing crush on the FL, yet he treats her coldly after marriage. He was initially moved by her kindness, but he easily believes the slanderous accusations leveled against her by his wicked mother-in-law and others. How the scriptwriter comes with idea ML betrays FL father to protect FL family?
FL also has questionable part. Before marriage, she had absolutely no feelings for the ML. It was an arranged marriage, and she suffered for several years. How could she possibly fall in love with him in the end? There is no backstory about FL was infuriated with ML and suddenly she in love with ML.
Female villain caused so much trouble, only to be kicked out of the mansion in the end? And FL even had to give her money out of blue? FL mother-in-law didn't get any punishment either. This screenwriter really loves villains! The plot is also full of holes. FLs father is just a minister, not a prince, not a general, not even a prime minister. Why emperor want to kill FL father? I guess the screenwriter couldn't come up with a plausible reason.
Only watchable for hardcore fans.

Love how they bring misogyny with cooking drama
I am missing watching J-Drama and the first thing i checked Was Kaho is going to be the Female Lead with Takeuchi Ryoma. As expected, the scriptwriter was neat and genius how they portrayed the misogyny society from Cooking drama. The last drama i watched is Mondai Ga Aru Restaurant but this is much better than that drama since it contains Higashide (he cannot act, sorry)It was too realistic from every POV while the add the, and that's where Takeuchi Ryoma and Kaho truly excels. Kaho is one of rare Japanese actress that using feeling method to her acting (some of Japanese actress used method acting) and their chemisty was too amazing. The couple explore their inner problem with cooking method and the dialogue was witty.
It was light yet thoughtful drama

It’s just OK..
This movie was just OK. I enjoyed the beginning, the dialogue and interest between the MC’s seemed earnest. But halfway through we lose the plot completely. We get absolutely zero backstory on the main characters besides a couple lines that leave us even more curious. There were so many backstories they could’ve explored but didn’t, so the characters were left shallow and one dimensional. Honestly idk what to say, I didn’t enjoy this movie. Also that bit at the end where they’re dressed as Native Americans riding off into the sunset was weird to me, I get the point they were trying to make, but I didn’t like that scene. Anyway, on a positive note, the cinematography was beautiful and the acting was good. But plot was just all over the place, and the pacing was bad.Was this review helpful to you?
So heartwrenching & beautiful
I've never written a review before, but I just can't help but praise this amazing drama because everything about it was just perfect for me. It rarely happens that a drama is able to hook me from the first episode, but this was definitely the case and somehow it kept getting better. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions, I cried, laughed, suffered and swooned almost every episode. The main couple touched my heart, they genuinely have one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever watched. If you're unsure about picking this drama up, just go for it!Was this review helpful to you?

Comical genius
When a friend of mine showed me this drama and told me it was one of the best she's seen, I had major doubts but decided it was worth a shot.I did not know what I was in for. I expected it to be some half-assed, low-budget short drama with most of the worst clichés dramaworld has to offer us but BOY WAS I WRONG!!!
I laughed so hard I almost coughed up my lungs while watching the first episode. The insanity of it all made the illogical become logical and everything happened on such a fast-paced setting it had me turned upside down and giggling underneath my desk.
Everything I thought this drama would be went right out the door. There hasn't been an episode where I didn't cry from laughter or couldn't catch my breath because of it.
Let me remind you now that this drama is not listed as a comical drama. It's not even trying to be funny but it's hilarious. Most of it seems like the writers were on drugs while coming up with certain plotlines. We went from a high-scale chase with futuristic elements to a forests with a mystical fog that lets our main characters visit each other's dreamworlds, to a wild-west with cowboys. We went from a weird octopus creature to a freaking DRAGON that supposedly hidden within a busy city.
None of it actually made sense but it worked perfectly into the humor of it all.
The drama tells the story of a world far away where the Affinity Virus wreaks havoc on the humans. If you're affected by the A virus, you'll have to find a partner with the B virus in order to survive. Someone with a B virus infection can be emotionless and psychotic and can go beserker mode unless they find someone with the A virus who is able to calm them down. As long as they have each other, they can live as if non-infected.
Our female lead, Nongyu, is infected with the A virus (a so-called Yin) and stands witness to the arrest of a murderer who is infected by the B virus (a so-called Ren) and went psycho on his parents, killing them in the process. Years later she comes face-to-face with him again and finds out he's been waiting for her. He wants her to become his partner and will stop at nothing to make sure that happens.
Do I recommend this drama? Hell yes! It was such fun to watch and it did bring out some notes of seriousness amongst the insanity of its plotlines. It's low budget but still very well made. The actors tried their best with the script and brought out some of the best acting eventhough most of it made me cry from laughter. It is, like my friend said, one of the best I've seen (if you consider it a comical drama and don't take it too seriously).
