the life of Korean adults who work like crazy and relieve stress through drinking.
Yes, it's that simple, but also sometimes simplicity is what makes us happy. This show is bursting with true friendships and their own hardships. But how do we sail this stormy sea called life? Of course with someone who's on our team and who you can rely on. That's all, that's life and that is this show. Easy watch but will be memorable. Was this review helpful to you?
A Fangirl’s dream come through
This drama started off with the impression that it was about to audaciousy explore the toxic idol worship, the intrusiveness, the hyperbolic building up of an artist and vicious tearing down when they don’t act as expected, as well as the lack of individuality of the artists and exploitative nature of the industry. Unfortunately apart from the acting which was okay?this just ended up falling extremely short of expectation. Was this review helpful to you?
1 Litre of Tears appreciation post
Wow, just wow what an experience.I’ve been into Japanese media for a long time but I’m only now getting into Dramas/live action, this is my third, I watched you are the apple of my eye like 8 years ago and it was good and I watched Drawing Closer last week and it was amazing.
I’m honestly blown away by good this was, practically perfect, the acting was sooo on point, I honestly can’t imagine watching this with a different cast (which I know isn’t really true but some actors bring their roles to life in such a way it feels true), the soundtrack was phenomenal, “Kanayuki” makes me cry every time and probably will for a long time, “only human” was so fitting and beautiful, “sangatsu kokonoka” also breaks my heart, especially the live version from THAT scene, the directing was great and the overall tone I thought was perfect.
Something I love is that they didn’t shy away in sharing this experience, sure, they likely held back a little and added some stuff to make it watchable, this is a drama after all and if it was his depressing for 99% of the run time that would be tough, but i think they still did such an amazing job of conveying what she went through and her genuine experiences, i can relate to Aya in some of her feelings and thoughts, she really resonated with me, so the fact this is a true story just makes it all the more heartbreaking, the pictures at the end of episodes, quotes such as “but… what I really wanted them to say was “Aya please don’t go” “ these are things that broke my heart and will stick with me forever.
There were soooo many memorable scenes, her goodbye speech and send off from school was amazing but I think my very favourite scene was Ako getting angry and defending her on her behalf, I tear up just thinking about it.
I’d love some recommendations based on this show! something that you think is better or more sad.
Honestly this was a once in a life time media experience, even tho I’m still so new to dramas, I reallyyyy don’t think this will ever be topped for me, it’s probably the saddest thing I’ve ever watched (and I watch so much sad stuff) I was honestly crying for 11 episodes straight, 1 litre was an understatement. I never thought a jdrama would become my all time favourite piece of media but here are…
Rest in peace Aya. Thank you for sharing your experience, 38 years later and your life is still having an impact on people and helping them.

A good remake of the Original
It's really, really rare to find a remake holding up to the original. But yet here I found one.Compare it? I can say both of them are good. But, I'm sure some will disagree with me. That's fine too.
Everyone has different taste and preferences.
However to any new viewer interested to try it, I should say, try it.
Don't be scared.
If you don't try, you might regret it.
After all, only after you try it you know by yourselves whether this is good or not.
TMI/ There's many scenes that make me shed my tears like how the original did. TT--TT

For me it was just CHILDISH
I was initially hyped to start watching "Your Sky" due to its good and high ratings. However, I was very negatively surprised in the end, as I found it childish, cringe, and awkward at times.I decided to watch the special episode with the hope it would be better than the series, but unfortunately, it was NOT; it was even worse.
Additionally, the dance at the end was personally very terrible and very cringe for me. (I hope that wasnt a huuuggee spoiler)

# fan imagined Happy ending
lets say, lets have an imagination, that in the sky net, they are together for sometime, then the blue swallow misses them so much that she begs to her husband to find a way to get her friend out with her lover Dragon where they can be safe and to seek justice for them. The Blue bird's husband, the Lord has gained power and Authority and being in charge as an immortal, petitions to the heavens emperor to set the record straight, and sums up the schemes of the Immortal of Fate, the master of the Yin soul Liu Ying bears witness to the schemes and puts out his testimonial along with other disciples who also give their Testimony and they give the evidence of his trying to take over three worlds and scheming intentions. The Heavens regard that the Dragon has averted a great disaster on the three worlds and by killing the evil intended immortal of fate, the Dragon has done a great service to heaven, earth and all the worlds, therefore the Heavens order to bestow upon him the glory of a High Kingdom and restore his position, power and grant him additional power for his cultivation for 10000 years to grant him the immortality and the power to resurrect even the dead with the condition that the one he resurrects can only be the one he loves the most, and to free him from the captivity of the net. With this divine Order, the Bird Demond and her husband Lord return home, the record is set straight, that it was not Dragon kings fault for the loss of Goddess Newa stone and the accouchements are made all across of the innocence and sacrifice of the Dragon, and considering that his love for his beloved is true, the heavens also give to him his Yin soul to live peacefully forever. The Lord thinks of it as his repayment of his debt to the Dragon since he had cast the deadly spell upon him and done him damage even though when he was controlled by the wicked immortal. He thinks it is his fault he did not figure out sooner, or that he could not stop the evil immortal of fate even though with his powers. Hence, overjoyed by the Heaven's verdict and considering it as Gods WILL they both return home with the Heavenly Divine Tablet, and the Lord starts working on the sky net to free them and give them a proper form. After an entire night's labour, the two souls are released from the sky net and placed into a protective golden tent for safety and recouperation. Liu Ying is a soul without a body, but she had left her hair with the Dragon King at the time they were almost to be married, so with the help of her hair, her body and memories can be restored through a special artifact and with the special power that the Dragon had received to resurrect the dead. Hence, first the Dragon is let out, and restored with great power and rejuvenation and the cultivation of additional 10000 years and all that promised by the Heaven, he became even more powerful, once he is out, the Lord apologizes to him, and he understands and thanks him infact for going through all this trouble for his sake and for trapping them both in the net to be together. The Lord reveals the secret of his ability to resurrect and his powers, and about the hair. Liu Ying with her sprit body is protected in the Golden Tent. Then both the Lord and the Dragon go to his chambers to find the hair he had received from Liu Ying. He retrieves her hair and both head to the Lords Place where they use the artifact and the spell is recited, due to the power vested in him, he is able to bring back Liu Ying to her former self. Overjoyed, the Dragon and Liu Ying kiss, the other couple the Lord and the Bird are also overjoyed and the Bird cries, hugs her fried, all of them are hugging. The Blue Bird now an immortal, and also having cultivated the powers, transports all of them to the dragon pool. Here she tells Liu Ying that it is time to wear the red Wedding dress that was so grandly prepared by him for her. She dresses her up in the dress using her powers with all preparation; the Lord dresses up the Dragon in one snap of his fingers. The Immortal of Rites is present along with a few other GODs. All offer gifts. The Ceremony begins with the immortal of rites reciting his prayer and invoking GOD's blessing. A golden Hallow appears and fire-fly rain happens, it is taken as a blessing and the bonds of marriage are tied with a knot divine and wine of glass exchanged. The couple kiss. The guests cheer. The Lord arranges a feast and the couple are greeted. Later, in the night, the couple consummate their marriage and the Dragon king takes a promise from Liu Ying to cultivate herself into an immortal with the help of the Blue Bird and himself who will be her master for the same. After 100 years Liu Ying attains the status of a Goddess through her cultivation and with her advanced superior power she is able to seal the cracks in the barrier due to which no demon can escape and she becomes a Guardian alongside her husband. They are living happily sometimes in Heaven, sometime on Earth roaming about and some time in their home at the Dragon Pool. The Dragon also is often absorbed in cultivation. Dragon King is able to gain even more status and power due his cultivation. The Lord and Dragon help each other in fighting the evil spirts. The Blue Bird is pregnant with the Lord and is soon to give Birth. This time Liu Ying personally takes care for her and keeps her company. After a year or so, the Blue Bird gives birth to a beautiful daughter. All are very overjoyed. The Dragon misses being a father and shares this word with his friend the Lord. The Lord urges his wife to talk to Liu Ying. Later while Liu Ying is playing with the child, the mother Bird takes up this topic. At that time, Liu Ying also states that she is expecting and be ready to welcome a Prince within the next year but to keep it a secret from the Dragon as she wants to surprise him. Both giggle, but the Lord hears this news accidentally, and secretly tells the Dragon King. The Dragon King is overjoyed but does not reveal he knows to Liu Ying to keep her secret. He treats her very specially and is more sentimental with her these days, and she gets a bit suspicious. Then it is revealed that he knows and the couple laugh. Later in the next years it is seen that the Dragon Kings son is 500 years old and Liu Ying is holding another recently born Prince in her hand. The Dragon Kings first born and the Lords first born are happily playing in the Gardens, the Valley of Flowers, Liu Ying and the Bird watch them as they play. The blue Bird reveals that next year her daughter will get a new brother! and so Liu Ying is overjoyed. She immediately starts preparing gifts for the unborn baby. Both families happily meet each other and have dinner and get-together often. The Dragon King and the Lord often meet each other for wine and discuss important matters of work and also general domestic matters and feelings they carry at different points in time. The families are living and managing their lives happily and Liu Ying says in one afternoon to her friend Bird, "who knows, perhaps your first born daughter and the Crown Prince may like each other when they grow up and she may be my crown princess, we may become in - laws! Thus , there is a Happy ending and forever a happy scene for the all of them. Was this review helpful to you?
Looped Lives
This was clever and I loved it. When I saw that Sammon was the screenwriter I knew I'd like it and I really liked it!Bible's acting has improved so much. His character (Great) was flawed and he was able to convey that so well. His reaction to his 'gift' was the same as anyone's would be: what's going on? The concept - of seeing the future- has been explored before, but this was different and not just because it's BL. The clever little twists and turns in this meant that sometimes I was uncertain about whether we were in real time or future time.
I've never seen Jes (Tyme) before and was impressed by his acting and character's introverted behaviour, which hid a backbone of steel.
The biggest surprise for me was Bas. I've seen him in other shows and his character has been very different each time. This was a mature, selfish, ambitious character with lots of secrets. They were great secrets!
What I liked: good portrayal of complex, flawed characters; how the story unfolded, but I had to pay attention to everything.
What I didn't like: it was confusing at times, but it meant I had to really think about what I was watching. Not a complaint, but an observation.
The ending was interesting - was it reality or part of the 4 minute future?

really fun
This show was so fun to watch, I binge-watched the original one and now this so to say "second" season in 3 days? or so and I enjoyed EVERY single second of it. I'd rewatch it so many times, but this one will live with me for a very long time. Also I kind of liked that it was very much centered around characters who had some kind of abilities and their fights not only "aaa i need to save my human lover" type beat. Also could we get a possible so to say third season? Because the ending was kind of open? What I mean by that is that there was the original mountain god who came back alive and seemed to have beef with Yeon. So maybe? I'd be very happy if they did:)

Love, Fame, and a Murder Charge!
💡 Story & ThemesThe series centers on Maeng Se-na (Choi Soo-young) — a top criminal defense lawyer who secretly worships idol Do Ra-ik (Kim Jae-young). When he suddenly becomes a murder suspect, she switches from fan to defender, uncovering gritty truths about the idol world along the way. The show digs into parasocial relationships, media manipulation, idol pressure, and the dark side of fandom culture, often without easy answers.
It is a dark, emotionally layered take on K-drama idol narratives — blending legal thriller, mystery, romance, and industry commentary in a way that feels fresh and provocative rather than glossy and escapist. It’s not your typical idol romance; instead, it peels back the shine to show what fame, fandom, and obsession can really cost both stars and their supporters.
🎭 Performances & Characters
I think Choi Soo-young delivers a strong, nuanced lead performance, bringing real emotional depth to Se-na’s conflicted mix of professionalism and obsession.
I’ve also been really impressed by Kim Jae-young’s portrayal of Do Ra-ik — he captures the exhaustion of fame, anxiety, and emotional restraint in a way that feels grounded and believable.
For me, the supporting cast (the prosecutors, investigators, and band members) adds extra layers of intrigue and hidden agendas, making each episode feel tense and unpredictable.
🔍 Mystery & Pacing
I find that the mystery and courtroom strategy keep the plot engaging, with twists that make me rethink earlier assumptions. The pacing is generally tight, though at times I feel certain episodes slow down or focus too much on procedural detail instead of pushing the characters forward. [I personally feel they didn’t need to drag Ra Ik’s case for so many episodes. They could’ve wrapped it up around episodes 8 or 9, and then used episodes 10, 11, and 12 to show the downfall of Byeong Gyun’s father and how Se Na brought justice to her own father]
❤️ Romance & Chemistry
I find the romantic tension between Se-na and Do Ra-ik more uncomfortable and layered than fluffy, which feels intentional given the story’s theme of fantasy colliding with reality. The chemistry comes across as subtle and slow-burn to me, though at times I wish it were explored more deeply.
📌 Final Verdict
Idol I stands out as a thoughtful, gripping drama that uses the idol genre to explore deeper issues — obsession, public image, truth, and identity — without sugarcoating. It’s recommended if you enjoy legal thrillers, character-driven mysteries, and nuanced portrayals of fame and fandom.

As an ARMY myself — someone who truly loves and idolizes BTS and knows how much Jungkook has suffered recently because of sasaengs and stalkers, and how Taehyung and other members have been threatened by obsessive fans who think they own them — I really appreciated how this drama portrayed all of that.

So much to enjoy in the dramedy
SPOILERS!!!!!I'll start by saying that I think you have to leave your expectations as the door. This isn't Shakespeare. The plot sometimes has holes so big you could drive a bus through them. But, even with that, I really enjoyed this one, for numerous reasons:
1) Seo Kang Jun - I find him very attractive, and not in a "pretty" way, if that makes sense. His intermittent smiles were wonderful. The last scene in the last episode - gold! When he gets emotional, it's very well restrained and not over the top. My heart broke when he found his father.
Also, I love how they included his father and that he had conversations with him. That was a chapter for him that wasn't closed yet.
2) Jin Ki Joo - She is fascinating to me. She has a different look about her and I find her beautiful. She always portrays characters that you want to be friends with. I wish they would have delved deeper into a back story for her.
3) The comedy was comedy-ing! There were so many laugh out loud moments, and I was impressed by Seo Kang Jun's comedic timing.
4) At the beginning, I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to stick with it because of the bullying (of students AND teachers), but I LOVED how he developed friendships with the other students. When he went to say goodbye to the students and was leaving the building, the paper airplanes made me cry.
5) The ML and FL were cute together, but the romance was definitely secondary. I loved watching them together.
6) Happy ending, though a five-year time jump seemed excessive.
7) Finally, Kim Shin Rok. Wow!! Watching her progress from a run-of-the-mill baddie to seriously unhinged was so compelling to watch. Does she always play a villain? I'm going to have to check out her filmography.

REALLY strong start but didn’t keep Momentum!
so I’m sad to say I am a little disappointed with how the show ended up turning out to be. I feel there were great bones to the storyline and I feel like the time wasn’t used well to flesh out these parts.something the show brought that we never see again is Peach’s trauma with his father that is something we start to see but not again.
the proposed danger that Thee is in but there is never any real threat.
I also fear the worst offense was how they utilized their side characters, perthsanta storyline could have been so perfect if they left it at episode 8 broken up but to continue into ep 9 with Aran doing a complete unprompted switch to save Tawan after the fight was odd considering there was no apology or change of actions to show Aran that tawan was better or changed so it felt thrown in there to just give them an ending and GMMTV needs to let characters break up and not be end game it’s okay I’m sure most ppl would of appreciated the realism of moving on from a toxic relationship. they could of had tawan try to make amends with peach and thee on his own once he lost everything and peach could have then forgiven him and tell thee to chill which leads to a possible make up with Aran but they just gave it to tawan without any work.
Mok and Rome feel like it could be a spin off maybe but also if that’s the end of the story we see it also was a under utilization of characters that could of brought a lot to the plot.
I think part of why the story lost momentum was that there weren’t any growth steps like yes that one director who had a issue with peach was a good step but that was resolved in one episode and after that we don’t really see any other issues of note for the couple so it goes a bit downhill considering we don’t get much mafia things actually happening.
still love Pond Phuwin but I can’t say this is a favorite from them but visually this is the best they have ever looked aging like fine wine whole cast is visuals! I think if there was a deeper care to writing a well fleshed out story for them it could have been a 10 but it’s good for laughs

More Touching Than Funny
This series started out in the traditional sense of most Thai BLs. Initially, I almost thought it was a spoof on Thai BLs because it seemed like the characters were more like parodies than representatives of real people. However, as I got into this series, I found it to be intriguing and fascinating, maybe unintentionally? While most perhaps found this series humorous with tongue-in-cheek situations, as it is billed as a ‘comedy’. However, I found it utterly sad and melancholic. It represents one of the dolefulest stories I have watched in a very long time. Admittedly, I cried more than laughed through most of this telling. Honestly, this series could have been an early contender for Top Ten for 2026 honors, but as usual it took the low road to simply making it cute rather than completing the story behind the story. ALL four of the protagonists are astonishingly sad characters whose lives have not been destined by their actions but by the antics of others. This was not a comedy but a serious study of very sad, stunted young men who miraculously found love with each couple, meriting all the happiness that a fairytale ending should give them. They deserve one. Their lives have not been necessarily easy ones. More importantly, they seemingly understand that but are willing to give back to society tenfold more than society gave them. Was this review helpful to you?

With little spoilers
Here I am, this drama is really amazing, full of war , revulsion and loyalty to their faith even the party is doing corruption. Head of the Central bank ,Shen tunan is following his 3 rules and believes he can change the country even when he knew he is surrounded bye evils corrupt people and till then end not accepting to be a communist party. Well he is right in his pov on the other hand Wei roulai is mentee of Shen tunan and trust on each other and following the same mindset of the country. Their bond and trust on each other and reading each other’s mind , next move etc. I like how they are still silently giving help to each other when wei roulai join red army . Jizhan character is pretty nice but her ending was so simple and unexpected. The cop is the worst person ever man just want to kill Shen Tunan without any reason .anyway I like the ending both roulai and tunan meet each other at the end ready to work together with same faith .All characters play their part amazingly.!! 10/10.*Well as I said Currently start watching this drama because I am missing Yibo also when drama was ongoing I don't have time to watch. so suddenly 2 day's before scrolling wang yibo's mdl list and catch this drama again.. and its very investing ,interesting drama with fast doing story and I am getting binge watched for next episode curiosity 😁.I am liking shen tunan and wei rou lai characters.
usually I don't want to watch this type of political dramas because you really have to focus on details / subtitles etc ..but I think this one is easily understanding drama for me , like
* being a hero * I can make it only 12 episodes that was heavily invested and slow story drama.. so I can't able you finish till because after work tiredness it was difficult to focus on details and you can't miss the point etc .. so comparing to being a hero this one is more fantastic.

One of the best bl mini series I've ever watched
I really really loved this drama. All 3 couples were soo damn adorable ❤️.This is the 1st time ever ive watched a series where there's power struggle between siblings but they love each other and none of them want power but just their share 😆😆. Also i loved the bonding between the brothers and with their partners too. It's a really entertaining light watch that will keep u hooked. Watch it. It's really good😌
Minus 0.5 cz they kept switching between Taiwanese and korean and everyone could understand even people who were not part of the family 😆
