silly, impropable and deliously sublime at times

I am a fan of Pond and Phuwin. But wasn't prepared for Pond going out on a limb like this! He is delightful and handles the over the top comedy quite well. They just click no matter what the material (and this is pretty darn good, with some minor glitches) and there is an ease now between them and the camera. I didn't know I needed a fairy tale like this, but it sure made the world a less darker place.
Yes, side characters are given short shrift, especially when they are using BL actors of such calibre. The Mafia thing is a red herring and nothing really bad ever happens...even the Mafia father is....well no need to spoil that plot line.
So enjoy the sweet ride and binge on a weekend. I did as the snow was swirling outside my window but it was warm and happy in my home. Think its time to go back and rewatch NEVER LET ME GO, again!

"Knowing oneself", there to be with you

‘When I Fly Towards You’ presents us with a fairly simple premise of young love. However, the way the story unfolds is refreshing and sweet. At times, I found myself sighing and smiling fondly at the scenes. First, I must say that Su Zai Zai is not a typical young woman blinded by one-sided love. She falls in love at first sight, yes, that's a fact, but she values herself and her beliefs, confronts what seems inappropriate, and puts her efforts in the right direction, studying and working harder and harder.
The protagonist, Zhang Lu Rang, is surrounded by a difficult life, being oppressed by his family, sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously. It is interesting to follow his openness and sincerity as he grows up, not only with the support of ZaiZai, but also with other friends he has made along the way.
This brings us to the supporting roles, the three friends, Gu Ran, Jiang Jia and Guan Fang, each with their own drama to deal with. It was good to see how their friendship grew stronger as adversity arose. I won't go too deeply into this topic, to avoid spoilers, but I felt that I wasn't just watching a love story, it was a record of youth, beautiful, bittersweet, happy and free, as everyone should have the opportunity to experience at least once in their lives.
Mind you, I'm not young. I went through secondary school and university a long time ago. However, I was taken back to that time when life seemed simpler and full of opportunities. And it was, of course. I felt a warm sensation, and as the story progressed, I often found myself in similar situations. Having fun with friends, worrying about getting into college, starting my professional life, balancing relationships, seeking support, and doing my best.
This drama is for those who are nostalgic and desperately need hope and sweetness in their lives.
I hope it finds its way to you when the time comes.

Loved how every character had an arc to explore

It was enjoyable to watch. The storyline was set beautifully with each characters having their own arches. The story treated one of the biggest but under used concept in stories, consent and for that reason, Between Us deserves it's own flowers.

Plot was simple but well founded. The background story of Team really wrecked me. It was really build well and Team's character reflected his past well. Win's character, in the rarity of on screen shows, was a huge green flag. The idea of slowly falling in love was shown perfectly. I wish we could have gotten some more time to explore the side couples. They all had such unique characteristics. The romantic scenes of main couple was really heart fluttering and certain moments still lingers in my memories.

The cinematography was modest. The direction on few places felt a little slow but the casual talks or going out to eat, these things were done so naturally. The swimming scenes were fantastically captured.

The entire cast did amazing. It's rare to have the entire cast having their own charismatic style but each of them truly shined throughout the show. Great acting.

One of the BL classics from Wabi Sabi. Definitely worth watching.

After watched this drama for second time, I gave it highest rank. Why? Iknow short c dramas wants to to get high rank. There are such jawels among them. Thoughtful development of themes

Delving into the results of the use and abuse of power yields many plot twists and interesting characters. Particularly in relation to the ways power can be wielded by women as well as against them, this drama follows a wide variety of characters driven to different life choices and paths as well as where these choices may ultimately lead.

Interesting with good acting, beautiful visuals.

Only one very small item, Gulnezer Bextiyar is a beautiful woman, but her face remains nearly motionless throughout. Is a flawlessly smooth forehead really worth having paralyzed eyebrows? I would prefer to see a full range of expression, but then that is just my opinion.

For chengyi, fake rating.

Cheng Yi is my all-time favorite Chinese actor. For me, he’s the best when it comes to acting—whether it’s emotional scenes, romance, or fight sequences, he usually excels at everything. However, I didn’t like how he portrayed his character, Xiao Shui, in this drama. It felt like he was playing Li Chengzhou instead, and overall, this was his weakest performance so far.
The plot was extremely boring and full of plot holes. The sad moments felt forced and piled on one after another, the twists were illogical, and the ending was absurd.
Honestly, I don’t know how I managed to finish all 40 episodes—I did it only for him.
The script was very poorly written, and the problems didn’t stop there. The directing, camerawork, and color grading were also weak. The supporting cast did the drama no favors either, except for Xu Zhenxuan, who was excellent and one of the main reasons I kept watching. Everyone else was forgettable. It felt like the production relied entirely on Cheng Yi’s name, assuming the drama would succeed without any real effort.
This was supposed to be an S+ drama, but it looked and felt low-budget, not recommend, don't waste your time
