Surreal, Offbeat, and Bittersweet
I'm glad I watched this. It’s not a top-tier watch for me, but it’s definitely worth the time. The filming has a surreal quality, often blurring the line between reality, imagination, and virtual reality. There are a few plot holes, but given how distorted reality is throughout the story, they actually fit the narrative rather than take away from it. It's offbeat and intriguing—but I have to say, surprisingly depressing, which isn’t something I often feel with this genre. The ending felt bittersweet, especially once you realize what a "happy ending" truly means for these characters.

The plot started off terribly, and then I started to cry like a baby
Cute ass show until it wasn't, and then back to cute, yay! Just watch it. The first 9 episodes are hard, but it becomes good after that, I swear. I would give it an 8.5 (8.7 bc the first couple of episodes) out of 10. I actually wrote notes for this, so we are going to look at the pros, cons, and then do an episode overview.Okay, so I like the thing with the brother. Fantastic. SO FANTASTIC THAT I STARTED FUCKING CRYING WHEN HE GOT IN THAT CAR ACCIDENT AND WENT HOME, AND HIS BROTHER WAS THERE. For reference, I have only cried to two other Thai dramas before, until we meet again and kinnpsoche. I just think that this show did a great job of showing sibling love and how much you will miss them when they are gone, and I started to cry, just straight up and sob, and my roommates were judging me, but I couldn't stop crying. It just made me think about losing my sister, and I just lost it, holy fuck. So they did that scene fucking GREAT. I don't know what happened to the rest of the show though lmao. After episode 9, the show became absolute fucking cinema. Mark and Ohm have great chemistry, fantastic, even though they have the Force Book effect. That means the longer they are on screen together, the more they look like siblings. Fire sex scenes, because we have such good chemistry. Fantastic. I liked the characters; they were fun, and they were really cute, and I liked that. Going back to the brother thing because I mentioned in my notes a few times. I like how they showed that even the people with the biggest smiles hide the deepest secrets. The fact that his brother died on his birthday, the fact that he was doing all of this to live out the dream his brother wanted just for his mom, actually broke me. That was such good writing, and the fact that Khao played the dead brother made it 100 times better. He just wanted to continue his legacy, and in the process forgot his own dream, which is when Ohm's character comes in and brings the dream back so he can do both. God, that was perfect. This lowkey gives fish upon the sky, so I liked that aspect. The ending lowkey absorbs at the end into a whole bunch of sex, and I am actually okay with it because I did not need to cry more to a show can't sweet tooth dentist bull hooky. I pray they get another show together with a better plot throughout and a holy bunch of eye fucking on g. JESUS CHRIST OHM IS LITERALLY SO SEXY, HIM AND HIS EYES AND HIS BODY. JESUS FUCK I WAS GENIUELY GOING TO TOWN UNDER THE TABLE. JIMMYSEA CAMEO WAS THE BEST THING EVER, AND I LOVED THAT. Also, they were very aware in this show; it was funny. Apart from Ohm's gorgeous everything, his eyebrows ARE SEXY HOLY FUCK. And that is it.
Going into the cons, which is one of the major things in this show is the plot at the start. For the first 8 episodes out of 11, the plot was fucking terrible. I don't know who they have WRITING the sceond half but they needed to write this full thing because that was great, but the first halfway, it was so boring and I was just really confused because he didn't like him and then he did and then turns out it was a set up and then I am like what the fuck are we even doing right now. We also did way too much jumping around with the flashbacks, so that the show became hard to follow during those parts. Oh my god, we did not need all that. Also, my favorite ship, Gug and the girl, got nuked, and it was a sad fucking day. They would have done numbers. Numbers in my heart, that is, but that is fine. Wasted potential with them, I fear. And the second-hand embarrassment this gave me made this hard, such a hard watch, holy fuck, I can't. THEY SHOULD HAVE A TRIGGER WARNING BECAUSE I HAVE HAD 2 ROOT CANALS. Very touchy subject lmao. I am playing, lol. Yeah, just overall, the show is lacking plot at the start. Also, the whole shit about him being left at the dentist, what the fuck are y'all even on about? We could have done something better than that. Random ass love triangle in the middle, irrelevant, and just made the show more boring. And that is all.
Okay, let's see my thoughts on the episodes. "hout out caivity gang bc i have 16 (THEY ARE ALL FILLED AND IT IS BC MY OLD DENTIST WAS ASS) cavities. MARKKKKKKK MY DADDY. OHM is good-looking, too. My wisdom teeth are currently growing in, and I feel that pain lmao. Ohm is such a looker." " TOO REAL TOO REAL. NOT THE ROOT CANAL. Where is my trigger warning? Me and my two root canals are offended. It takes like 2 hours, and it hurts so bad." " I don’t know how they’re gonna drag this out for another 10 episodes, but I’m interested." "It is giving fish upon the sky lmao. But more chaos and less structure lmao." "Solution: get a job? Actually, he has too many jobs nvm. Blame the government on g. They are having a field day with this editing. It's giving less funny and less plot fish upon the sky." "This show is genuinely so embarrassing. I can't. The ending was cute." " I dont know if Ohm came out of the womb with these gorgeous eyebrows or whoever threaded them, whatever, they are so gorgeous and frame his face so nicely." " NO, MY FAVE COUPLE. NO WAY, I'M GONNA CRY. YOU ARE STOMPING MY HEART OUT, RN. Aw, that sucks. Same thing. MAL INTENT FROM THE OTHER HALF OF OUR LOVE TRIANGLE. These ads are cock blocking." "WHY DO WE HAVE SO MUCH CHEMISTRY? I DON'T RECALL. OUCH. MARK WANT THAT COOKIE ALMOST AS MUCH I DOOOO. Can these two handsome men just kiss and be happy? Of course not, why would you think that?" "NO, THEY ARE GETTING ME WITH THIS SOB STORY I FEAR." "He gave up his dream for his brother, who never got to live out his. I am lowkey fighting demons not to cry rn. This got me thinking about my own sister now, and now I'm really sad. Holy fuck, this is making me all types of sad. Chills." "What is with this sad ass music? What are we doing? Pls dont get into a car accident, pls dont, bad idea, pls dont. He's about to get into a car accident. Had me on the edge of my seat, I fear. FUCKKK I KNEW IT. How the day was supposed to happen. Two sons, two car accidents. Thankfully, plot armor will save him. I feel actually gutted rn. I fear I am sobbing rn. Oh my lord. The thought of losing my sister is making me so fucking sad right now, my lord. I haven't cried to a Thai drama since Until We Meet Again, my lord. No way this fuck ass show got me. There's actually no way. Damn, y'all. Back to back 10s bc they just got my ass. The plot started off so bad, and it just got so good, oh my lord. I need a super mega happy ending, pls, I'm begging, I dont wanna cry anymore." "Cute ending to a show that did about 3 180s. This episode was reminiscing. We're having sex, we're talking about sex, and about two Jimmy Sea cameos. Random but felt just right."
Watch for the final 3 episodes. Okay bye!

Best Chinese drama of 2025 (after Love's Ambition and The Coroner's Diary)
OMG I literally finished this drama within three days (29 Dec 25 – 31 Dec 25), and I am completely in love. This drama got me hooked from the very first episode. It feels fresh and different, with a well-written script that clearly shows how much effort the team put into it—seriously, well done.As someone who prefers romantic dramas, this one checked all the boxes for me, especially with such amazing leads. Esther Yu and He Yu were honestly the perfect fit for their roles, ngl. Their chemistry feels natural, and I love how each interaction between them becomes more intense without unnecessary dragging. Every scene feels meaningful and keeps you wanting more.
What really stood out to me is how the drama beautifully shows the growth of both leads, from their youth to becoming mature adults. Their emotional development feels realistic and earned, which made their journey even more touching to watch. Overall, this drama isn’t just romantic—it’s heartfelt, engaging, and unforgettable. Definitely one of my favorites
Ending my 2025 with this drama honestly made my heart so happy.

IT'S SO UNDERRATEDD ?️?
I only found this drama cuz it came up when I was seeing if Hulu had kdrama. IT'S SO GOOD. I just finished it and I'll admit that I cried when his friend died at the end, I really like the story and I think it was interesting to watch, I watched it in about 8 or 9 hours and it took me 2 days. I personally had never heard of Vigilante and now that it's done I'm sad because there aren't many edits for it 😿. I can't wait for season 2 🗣️🔥🔥, and if anyone reading this is wondering if they should watch it, DO IT IT'S GOOD TRUST ME🤑🤑Was this review helpful to you?

The Finale of Genie, Make a Wish Absolutely Broke Me… and Somehow Put Me Back Together Again
If you’re asking me whether Genie, Make a Wish is worth watching, my answer is yes… but also be emotionally prepared. This drama is one of those shows that quietly pulls you in and then refuses to let go, in the best way.At its core, this is a love story, but not the flashy, instant kind. It’s slow, layered, and built on choices, sacrifice, and time. Ka-young and Iblis don’t just fall in love; they grow into it through misunderstandings, shared pain, and moments of genuine care. Watching them together feels intimate, like you’re witnessing something private rather than being told a romance is happening.
What really surprised me was how human this fantasy drama felt. Yes, there are genies, wishes, divine rules, and centuries of history, but the emotions are grounded. Grief, guilt, devotion, jealousy, hope, and forgiveness all take center stage. Ka-young’s quiet strength and Iblis’s gradual softening make their journey incredibly satisfying to watch.
The supporting characters also deserve credit. Pan-geum and Min-ji bring warmth and humor, balancing out the heavier themes, while the antagonists add tension without completely overshadowing the emotional core. Even when the story gets dark, there’s always a thread of sincerity holding it together.
Visually, the drama is beautiful when it needs to be. The desert scenes, the magical spaces, and the quieter domestic moments all feel intentional. The OST deserves a special mention too because it knows exactly when to step in and when to stay out of the way, which made several scenes hit harder than expected.
Is it a light watch? Not really. But it is rewarding. The finale, especially, felt like the drama saying goodbye with care, acknowledging the pain while still choosing hope. By the end, I didn’t feel cheated or exhausted. I felt like I had gone on a journey with these characters and seen them earn their ending.
Overall, Genie, Make a Wish is the kind of drama you recommend to a friend when you want to say, “This one made me feel something.” It’s romantic, thoughtful, and emotionally rich, and it stays with you long after the last episode ends. If you like fantasy romances with heart and meaning, this one is absolutely worth your time.
Romance: 9.5 / 10
The love story between Ka-young and Iblis is the heart of this drama, and it delivers. It’s slow, tragic, tender, and deeply emotional without relying on constant skinship or clichés.
Character Acting: 9 / 10
The cast truly carried this story.
Production: 8.5 / 10
Visually, the drama was gorgeous when it wanted to be.
Storyline: 8.5 / 10
This was an ambitious story with reincarnation, wishes, morality, love, and divine politics all woven together.
OST: 9 / 10
The soundtrack quietly did a lot of emotional heavy lifting.
Overall Vibe: 9 / 10
Melancholic, romantic, and thoughtful.
Final Overall Rating: 9 / 10
Genie, Make a Wish is a beautifully tragic fantasy romance that prioritizes emotional truth over easy happiness. It’s the kind of drama that stays with you, makes you think about love and sacrifice, and leaves you oddly comforted despite the tears.
If you’re the type of viewer who loves pain with purpose, this drama was absolutely worth the ride.

I Am Nobody: The Showdown Between Yin & Yang

A Rich Sci-Fi Sequel and 2025 Favorite
This was also one of my 2025 favorites. I know many people were disappointed by how short it was, but I welcomed the brevity, as it allowed me to fit it into a hectic schedule and still finish it within a reasonable timeframe. I didn’t feel like the show suffered from the reduced length, as it was still rich with intrigue, poignant themes, and compelling backstories, all while exploring original and nuanced sci-fi plots.Although it didn’t provide answers to the questions left unresolved in season 1 and took a different turn by introducing new narratives and characters (with a few original cast members carrying over), it offered stepping stones that will likely lead to the core of the next season. While I don’t think it’s necessary to watch the original to follow this sequel, I recommend watching both.

Quirky, Clever, and Far Deeper Than It First Appears
I can’t praise this drama enough, and I was fortunate not to have to wait long for Season 2 after finishing it. It stands out from others I’ve come across in our community, but its uniqueness isn’t what makes it a great watch. Personally, I had a great time watching this drama for its witty dialogue and quirky humor. I also found the narrative dynamic. For beneath the humor, the story explores darker themes centered around a multi-generational mystery involving hidden identities and foreboding prophecies. I’ve already watched the sequel and I hope there is a Season 3.Was this review helpful to you?
A Love Story That Defies Convention
I absolutely loved this. It is a unique love story that doesn't follow tropes or cliches. The narrative is endearing and captivating, with many scenes choreographed to further your engagement. It offers a great commentary on acceptance, and what defines life and love. It's a short feature I could watch again. Was this review helpful to you?

Go into the light
I just sighed. I fucking hate this show. Don't watch it. Like fuck. Okay, I would give it a 7 (8.1, BUT THIS SHOW DOESN'T DESERVE MY KINDNESS) out of 10, and then I am going to try to be nice and say what I liked, what I didn't (everything, don't watch it), and then an episode overview. Okay!MOS AND BANK YAY YIPPPE YIPPE YAYAAYAYAY. That is fucking it. It started great, I will give the show that. Fucking gnarly ass start, love that. Mos has the sexiest eyes I have ever seen. Their sex scenes were good. I will also give them that. I liked the bodyguard and the annoying fuck, they were fun. I would rewatch just for them. I can't lie to y'all. Whoever did the camera work, you did a great job. Everything else, die.
THEY HAVE A TERRIBLE POWER DYNAMIC. Like borderline pedophilic with the shits, or at least it feels like that. It is lowkey awful and kind of makes the show unbearable. Like, I kind of understand what they were getting at, but at the same time, they did that awfully, and that lowkey grossed me all out. Like Bank's character acts like he is a child, and it makes this show so much worse than it needs to be. This whole show is a fucking ball fest, I can't lie to you. GOD FUCKING AWFUL. The plot fell the fuck off after a few episodes and just became so boring and so fucking confusing, like maybe if we stuck to one plot and not 5, this would have worked, but we didn't do that and tried to do 5 plots at once, and the show became confusing and fucking boring. This show was so fucking embarrassing, oh my god, OH MY GOD. OUR SIDE COUPLES AND CHARACTERS (BESIDES MY GOATS, THE SECRETARY, AND THE ANNOYING FUCK) WERE DOING WAY TOO MUCH. Why are we focusing on them and not the main couple? Geniuely don't fucking piss me off, I swear to god. Also, our main characters, especially Mos's character, were so incredibly shallow and one-dimensional that it pissed me off. I don't know why everything pisses me off, but especially that. Shity ass character writing. We dont know how to write a plot, we dont know how to write characters, what do we know how to do? I WILL ANSWER THAT FOR YOU, FUCKING NOTHING. BITCH. Way too much was happening in this show; it was overwhelming, and none of it made any sense. Also, they rushed the fuck out of the ending. Okay, that is it.
Overview time. "Problematic, but a good start toward the end." "The way he is on his knees in front of him. I am so down bad for him, bro. Legs open and shit. I don't mean that; I do, but I don't." "Lin looks bad as hell in this V-neck. I might just be down bad, though. Why is getting horny over his man doing a peace sign? CAMERA WORK EATS." "I genuinely can't imagine seeing my manager get all flirty with the CEO's secretary; I'm just trying to put that in perspective with my job, and it's so awkward." WE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONNECT OUR PLOTS, SO STOP ADDING MORE. "Why is he calling him Khun dad? Calm down, Jamal. I am obsessed with slow-dancing scenes, it's addicting lowkey. Crazy transition from the dancing, though. This flashing back and forth is a little suspicious. Transitions are great. The camera work is so amazing. Because who is doing this? Lighting and everything. Get it sexy, get it sexy. Sun looking hot as FUCK right now. Looks are serving. That was good." " I am gonna be so honest, that is the ugliest fucking necklace I have ever seen. If my nightmares affected me this much, I don't think I would leave my house ever." "THEY HAVE SOME OF THE BEST CHEMISTRY, BRO. Like big dragon was cheeks, but it was good cheeks. This is just cheeks."
I would say don't watch it, and if you are going to, make sure you do with one hand and your eyes shut. Okay bye!

Junior's sexy ass makes me wet all over
I lowkey loved this, and every couple got better than the last. Okay, so I would give it a 9 (8.83) out of 10. I am going to say what I liked, what I didn't, and then my thoughts during the episodes.THIS WAS SO FUCKING FUNNY I SWEAR TO GOD. OH my god, from the start to the very end I was laughing my ass off, holy fuck. I started for Force and Book, and this was the first show with them as a main couple that wasn't god awful. I loved their dynamic in this so much, and it was so fun. Lowkey a little bit of a power dynamic, but that's fine, I guess. Force's face is so fucking sexy, I swear to god. This was my first time seeing Junior Mark together since the fantastic cherry magic, so that was nice. The setup was different from most shows, with three trillion couples, and I thought that was fun. BACK TO BACK SUNSHINE X GRUMPY COUPLES SIGN ME ALL THE UP I SWEAR TO GOD. I truly loved all the couples, but Junior Mark brought this shit home for me, and I love their fucking dynamic and their chemistry in this; it was fucking phenomenal, I swear to god. This review is all over the place, but that's fine, lmao. This show did something fucking right because the entire time I was having a blast, and I became obsessed with character after character; it was so fucking great. Like, I think it was just overall good character writing, every single character in our main couple was perfectly written in their own regard, and I loved that (besides part of Santa's character and Perth's abusive ass character, which I will get into). I liked how three-dimensional all of the characters were, even the background ones; that was fun. I also like the pace of the show. Like I thought it was going to be a slow burn because it is like 24 episodes, but they paced this nicely, especially with the couples. I like how they did that. I also enjoyed that they didn't completely phase out the other couples when the new ones got introduced. Junior and Perth being brothers. That was so fun and lowkey the only way to connect the two other couples. I loved that so much, and I don't know why. They were just so fun. JUNIORS CHARACTER. He was for sure my favorite, because I liked his backstory of just having issues. Like his mom gave him up to start a new family, and he isn't even close with his brothers because of it, that was fucking fantastic. I truly wish they did more with that because that is so fun. I loved the character development for Force's character. Like, he became such a sweetheart, and I love that so much. I lowkey don't like Perth's character because he's toxic, but PERTH STUCK HIS FOOT INTO THIS ROLE I WILL ADMIT, BECAUSE YOTHA WAS HOT AS FUCK. Junior makes me wet all over. I want to do unspeakable acts to him. Yo, what did Jungkook say?! Okay, I am done.
Arc and Arm's fuck ass power dynamic, jesus christ. I think it especially came from the fact that Force's character was older, but the power dynamic was not fun at all, I can't lie. Santa's character being scared of being locked in a shed was the MOST BULL SHIT THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. FUCK DO NOT PISS ME OFF. WHY ARE WE SCARED OF BEING LOCKED IN A SHED? ARE YOU DUMB, STUPID, OR FUCKING BOTH? They set it up perfectly, with him being scared of the dark, like they could have done something great with that, BUT THEY MADE HIM SCARED OF BEING LOCKED IN A STUPID ASS SHED. Fuck, that made me so mad. Also, there were a few random ass jumps, and that lowkey pissed me off, I can't lie to you. Arc and Arm's dynamic lowkey changed for the worse, and then it went back, but around episode 11, Arm asked Arc if he could go to the bathroom, and that was fucking crazy, like what? Why are we asking him? Just go. Yotha. FUCK THAT BITCH. Apparently, I just hate this couple lmao. HE WAS SO FUCKING TOXIC OH MY LORD IT LOWKEY MADE ME ANGRY. Like fuck. It stopped being hot at one point and just got fucking weird. The cheating thing, fuck that was so irrelevant, as much as I love to see my men kissing, I don't know why they wrote that in. It must have been to piss me off because there is no way. ALSO WE DO NOT NEED SIDE COUPLES WHEN WE ALREADY HAVE THREE MAIN COUPLES, WE JUST DON'T. And that is it.
Overview time. But there are so many episodes, so I lowkey have to calm all the way down lmao. "They put all of the plot and film budget into that intro lol." "Close enough, welcome back, star in my mind. NEVER MIND HE JUST FUCKING FELL. It has a different setup than we are, and I lowkey like it." Crazy how this was the first thing I watched coming into the new year, some things truly never change. "HOLY FUCK I AM SO OBSESSED WITH THEM. The confused sunshine x grumpy anger management. Oh my fucking god, I love them in this. They are eating. Hehe, holy fuck. He with the jacket on is so fucking cute. Fuck I love Thai dramas so much." "Jet looks like a lesbian, I can't. I keep calling him her lesbian-looking boyfriend." "Force is in a constant state of being overwhelmed. He has two emotions: overwhelmed and angry. Also, the phone camera washed him out so fucking bad it was crazy. TAY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? LOOKING SO GOD DAMN FINE ON THIS BEACH." "I love force and book's pair bc they are similar builds. I hate when shows try to mash together skinny as mofos with some jacked person. I dont know why, but I hate that." "They’re both sunshine grumpy but different versions of it. Gun and Youtha are very different from Arc at Arm. Arc is like just a chill guy who’s very honest and very blunt, and he’s popular. he has friends, he just doesn’t care. Yotha is awkward. He’s like socially stunted and very nonchalant and doesn’t like people, which is very different from arcs, indifference, and honesty to people. Yotha does not like people at all. And then guns and arms are similar in some aspects, but very different. Arm is very kind and very talkative, but also very wary of his surroundings and getting into relationships. Gun is pretty innocent and naïve, but he knows his way around stuff. He’s also talkative, and he’s also kind, but I think that they’re pretty different, and I think that the show did that pretty well." "Pissing me off. I am punching him in the face. mean hook, smashing a bottle on his stupid head, farting on his pillow." I HATE YOTHA. "Everybody in this family adopted because what the fuck nobody looks like each other. Your mama cheated on all your dad’s because what the hell." WHY WOULD I WRITE THIS?? "Why does Newton have a gun? Hello? Back again. Klao, on his deathbed, is still making moves." "I just got jumped scared by his fucking abs. Faifa might be one of my favorite characters because he is actually so fucking fun. Arc and Arm are so fucking cute, I can't. Stop, Perth and Santa literally have the same smile lol. 12:20 3/4 (episode 18). same exact smile. That is so cute. Force has the sexiest eyes, oh my god." "These ads are killing this show rn." "I like it when characters have actual problems that aren't just relationships. I also feel so bad for Faifa because it wasn't even his fault that his mom raised him instead, but he's not close with his brothers because of that, and she literally gave him up for her new family. That's so sad. That's why he clings to people like that. Because he just wants to be someone in people's lives and doesn't want to be abandoned again. I love love LOVE shows like this. Nothing really goes wrong, but it's still interesting. Why was Yotha fondling my BOY? 3:35 ep 3/4 (episode 21). I swear if they're about to get deeky. THEY ARE GETTING DEEKY. SINGING KILLS DRAMAS." "The confession scene is so funny. I also understand why bro was in love with TOR BECAUSE THAT'S MY DADDY RIGHT THERE. THE WHOLE CAST OUT ON THIS FUCKING ROOF." " I say that every time because they just keep getting better, and these two didn’t disappoint, and they are officially my favorite couple, followed by Gun and Yotha. I love Arc and arm and their story, but these two definitely stole the show for me. Getting deeky in Yotha's room is fucking insane." "I had a lot of fun with this show, and it’s a damn shame. It’s not 100 episodes. We talked about some important stuff, and it was funny as fuck. And now we are done. Holy shit."
Watch it. It's fun, and I enjoyed it a lot. Okay bye!

The Massacre Remains, the Heroism Is Rewritten
Dead to Rights is an important act of historical denunciation. Its graphic depiction of the Nanjing Massacre confronts an atrocity that remains largely marginalized in Western-dominated historical narratives. In that sense, its brutality is not excess, but correction. The film’s real problem lies not in what it shows, but in whom it erases. To construct a purified national epic, it appropriates well-documented acts of heroism carried out by foreign missionaries and European civilians who risked their lives to protect Chinese civilians, transferring those actions to an ideologically immaculate protagonist. The crime is preserved; the moral credit is reassigned.
This does not deny the massacre—it nationalizes virtue. The result is a curated memory: horror is retained because it serves remembrance, while inconvenient witnesses are removed because they complicate the narrative. Dead to Rights does not falsify history; it re-edits authorship of heroism.
As denunciation, the film is legitimate.
As narrative, it reveals how even truth can be selectively framed.

Comfort Drama ❤️
So if you are wanting something thrilling or some strong plot based drama then this is not for you. This Drama is based on true friendship and cute love stories. Where Tan ( P'Aou ) was the main bridge of two friendship groups and I feel he was the main person who held all the people together. If you are having a bad mood, just run to this drama ... this will surely make you feel better, light weighted.... I loved all the 4 couples and the other supporting cast too but Tan-Fang (P'Aou - P'Boom) were just the heart of the drama [ according to me ] Phum - Pheem ( P'Pond - P'Phuwin ) were really adorable, Q - Toey ( P'Winny and P'Satang ) were also good but after their story started to move forward i felt kinda boring in some parts, Chain - Pun ( P'Marc - P' Poon ) bro Pun took 16 whole episodes to realise that Chain was in love with him 😂.Well although Tan - Fang are one of the main leads but i feel somehow they ( makers ) faild to give them the main lead spot light in the drama. They should get more recognition. After all the struggle these years they are having 2 Dramas as main leads I am so excited for them .... ❤️
Well this is my comfort drama for last 2 years so... Enjoy watching... ✌️

Heartfelt and Hilarious
One of the few dramas with actually laugh out loud comedy done right with amazing acting. At first it was a perfect mix of comedy and then pulling at your heartstrings and bringing all of the emotions. The first half was perfect.
But then it went downhill after that with being so melodramatic it completely took out any lightheartedness and comedy like it had in the beginning. Then it was just depressing and a trudge to get through.

Gentle, Sweet, but Missing Spark
This is only my second C-Drama, and I couldn’t help comparing it to my first, Speed and Love (2025), which had quick pacing, intense emotions, and explicit romantic tension. So when I started Hidden Love, the contrast was immediate. In the beginning (up to around EP 7), I found many scenes quite cringe, partly because I was already visualizing Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu as a couple, and seeing her as a child and him as a teenager felt strange at first. Even though I think the actress playing Sang Zhi feels less immature than some other young leads, the early interactions were overly timid and didn’t draw me in.
As the story progresses, it slowly finds its rhythm. The plot covers different stages of their lives, from Duan Jiaxu as a young adult and Sang Zhi as a teenager to both as adults, which helps ease the initial age gap discomfort. That said, when both characters finally reach adulthood, I still felt the romance lacked the emotional intensity and impactful moments I was hoping for, especially after the slow build‑up.
One highlight for me was Sang Yan, Sang Zhi’s older brother. His playful dynamic with his sister, teasing her but genuinely protective, brought real warmth and humor to the story. His interactions with Duan Jiaxu also add depth and charisma to the overall narrative, and I wish he had appeared more often.
I also really enjoyed the portrayal of the parents, Sang Rong and Li Ping. Their relationship felt healthy and mature, something I don’t often see in dramas. They communicate openly and calmly, showing concern without yelling or drama, which was refreshing and comforting.
Another interesting aspect is how the drama handles Duan Jiaxu’s feelings. He doesn’t suddenly fall for Sang Zhi as a child; instead, the shift in his perception happens later, when they’re both adults, marked by a significant moment around the first snowfall they experience together, which is when he starts acknowledging his deeper emotions for her. That moment helped clarify his emotional transition and made their connection feel more believable.
However, something that bothered me throughout the series was how often the show reiterates that Sang Zhi has “grown up”. It felt repetitive, the audience already sees them as adults by the time the story reaches that point, so the constant reminders became unnecessary.
The ending, with a marriage proposal, felt a bit cliché and slightly rushed. On paper, it makes sense, both are adults, and culturally marriage is a natural step, but narratively it jumped too quickly for me after years of slow, gentle development. I was left thinking that spending more time on their emotional connection as adults before jumping to a proposal would have been more satisfying.
Overall, Hidden Love is a well‑made, wholesome drama with strong chemistry between the leads and meaningful family dynamics. I don’t have major issues with the acting, the performances are solid, but the story wasn’t as captivating for me as the hype suggested. It feels calm and comforting, but sometimes too quiet and contained for viewers looking for deeper emotional engagement.
Final rating: 7.5/10
