An interesting plot & heart-warming romance make it worth watching.

📌 Plot : 8.5/10. For me to finish this drama in just a week means that the story was to my liking. The plot in the first 36 episodes: 9/10, but the last 4 episodes: 6/10 at best. However, I enjoyed most parts of the story; it was interesting with the right pacing most of the time. Sure, the story had its slow moments—episodes 17-19—that can't be avoided in a 40-episode drama. Okay, let me talk about the problematic last 4 episodes. The plot starts to become underwhelming in these last revelation episodes, which started from episode 33, but to me, it truly went downhill from episode 37 to the end. With many unnecessary deaths, Bing Zhu suddenly became an annoying evil character, the romance became dull & less enjoyable, and I liked Hong Ye less and less in these episodes—while I understand why he did what he did, it is still a fact that he used Xiao Yao for his selfish reason. Instead of making me more fond and understanding of Hong Ye and Xiao Yao's course of action, it just made me feel annoyed at both of them. The ending, although it is slightly better than the ending of the last drama I watched, TRoDH, is the same annoying type of ending. I hate when the main character pulls a self-sacrifice act, like, can't you think of a better option than that? So uncreative and lame.

📌 Acting & Character : 8.5/10. TUS was my fourth completed drama of Neo Hou. Tbh, I liked his character here more than in LiTC. Fr, the man is looking so divine here. For the whole 36 episodes—I will just forget episodes 37-40 ever existed—, I fell in love with Hong Ye again and again. He was the embodiment of a green flag ML. I liked his calmness, gentleness & attentiveness towards Xiao Yao. I loved the way he treats her, knows when to say sorry, is honest when times need him to be, & is not afraid to show his flaws. In short, I liked everything about him. Meanwhile, this is my first drama of Tan Song Yun; I enjoyed her acting & character here. While Hong Ye loves quietly, she loves loudly. Other supporting characters did well too. I enjoyed watching Xiao Mu and Xiao Ming's synergy with Hong Ye. The actor who played them as two characters in one body was brilliant, really. Aside from Hong Ye, I can't take my eyes off Bing Zhu in the first 20 episodes. Pity, he was an interesting character until he was not. I also enjoyed watching 3 ancient demons with their antics: Teng She, Qiong Qi, and Ao Hen.

📌 Chemistry & Romance : 9/10. To describe the romance here: Sweet, heart-warming, mature, healthy & not spicy. Our couple not just shares joyful feelings; they communicate all their worries as well. Conflicts in their relationship do not get dragged out, as they will be resolved right away. Hence, this drama has almost zero angsty level. One thing that disappoints me was the G-rated kissing scenes. Just touch on the lip, and done lol.

📌 OST, Cinematography,Costume: 9/10. The cinematography & visual was up to par. I loved Hong Ye's costumes the most. Xiao Yao is so pretty in her Azure Dragon looks, with white hair and outfit. The OST was great too. I enjoyed listening to a few of them, newly added to my Spotify playlist.  My favorites: Afraid It's Only A Dream by Neo Hou, From Now On by Tan Song Yun, Cinders by Jing Long, and Mirror by Duan Aojuan.

In conclusion, 8.5 rating I gave for this drama mainly because of its first 36 episodes. I might rate this as high as 9/10, if the last episodes did not happened. Despite the letdown ending, TUS was worth watching for the interesting plot, heart-warming romance, Neo Hou & other things I mentioned.

Funniest drama i have seen

I am not a fan of the usual comedy's, but this is the kind of comedy i really like. I had so much fun watching this drama, it was hilarious! The moodswings of Thee, the over the top things he did, the funny sounds weren't too much and placed just to perfection. The cheesy drama lines were just soo funny!
And how Peach stayed true to himself and wasn't intimidated by all this was just the best!

I liked the story, the son of a mafiaboss that doesn't want anything to do with mafia, and the restrictions to love, just to keep him safe. But as most of the time, love wins in the long run. He is the cutest mafia boss heir ever!

The visuals are stunning, the music very good.
The acting was also great, i love all three couples, they all have great chemistry.
The kisses of PondPuwin aren't the best, but i am not mad at it because their dynamics and chemistry are great.

Definatly a must watch! I am sure i will watch this one again in the future.

More than just a drama

I came across this drama and decided to watch it as I needed a break from all the crime thriller dramas I was watching.
I made me appreciate the little things a little more as it took me through different perspectives of different individuals.
You don't need a medical degree to understand this as it is informative in a fun way so learn many different information about the journey of pregnancy.
The characters you really bond with them as they are pillars of pregnancies that doesn't always go to plans as pregnancy can never be completely planned out.

“Reasons for dropping this”

Dropped it at episode 32, yea the ML is bad for betraying her trust, but I don’t blame him one bit for killing the grandfather and his lawless warriors, and after they went to the ML kingdom the writing went downhill and repetitive đŸ€ź
1. the FL character became irritating for the amount of trouble she cause at every scene she’s in.
2. the ML disgusts me because he was fine with throwing his childhood lover harms way to protect the irresponsible FL.
3. The Master is worse because he’s judging the ML when he caused the same damage
The FL sneak out almost every night to drink it’s quite crazy for a teenage girl, Master casually going into a married woman’s room at night is disturbing, it’s supposed to be a emotional wreck, but after episode 9 I became annoyed by almost all the FL decisions, she Lowkey killed more people killed with her foolishness

Opposite of “All’s well that ends well”

Is it just me, or did everyone fail to understand the last three episodes? Because honestly, what was that?

Let’s start from the beginning.

I started watching this as a time-pass, already knowing that many short Chinese dramas aren’t very well made—abrupt cuts, rushed scenes, random endings, and all that. At least this drama had less of those issues compared to others, so I gave it a chance.

This drama is looked like the spin-off of "What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?", but at least don’t do whatever you want.

The story began like a typical secretary–boss drama. Fine. But then came the confession—completely abrupt. Here he didn’t just hesitate or joke; he firmly said no. Then suddenly, when his brother enters the picture, he starts pursuing her?

I can understand that he was trying to protect her or something—but then why say no in the first place? That part never made sense.

Next, his trauma. At first, I thought he had claustrophobia because of the elevator scene. Fair enough. But then that’s not it? Apparently, riding a Ferris wheel is the trauma?
I mean, fine—anything can be traumatic—but then at least explain it properly. Don’t just drop it and move on like it’s obvious.

Now the main issue:

WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE BREAKUP?

I genuinely did not understand the breakup starting from episode 22.

What I understood was that she said something like:
“I didn’t completely trust you because you have a Plan B. You’re the inheritor of a big company—you can retreat anytime. I don’t have that option.”

Okay—but you already knew all of this. After 21 episodes, now you’re saying you didn’t trust him enough?

Then what was the point of the whole drama?
I’m not a relationship expert, but trust is the first thing in any relationship.

Yes, it’s progressive that he leaves his secretary position, but the situation they created around it is messy and meaningless.

Then comes the sad roaming around. What were they trying to portray here? Emotional growth? Regret? Because it didn’t land.

Then suddenly there’s a time jump—which I didn’t even notice while watching. I only found out from Google (and I’m not even sure that’s correct; maybe it was a subtitle issue). And then—out of nowhere—he proposes?

How did the conflict resolve?
How did she suddenly say yes?
What kind of writing is this?

Just write how the issues were sorted out. Please.

They complicate the situation I mean she is the head of her company and him also a company head or future head which is rival company of her, Fine. Then how the things will play you in future.
But then—ironically—you do resolve that issue at the end, without telling us how.

Just wow.

Look, I’m not saying every drama needs to be deep or extensive. But at least make it well-constructed. Don’t leave massive plot holes and expect the audience to fill them with imagination.

And yes—if anyone genuinely understands why she broke up with him, with a logical explanation, please share. I really want to understand this too.

PS: These are my opinions. Feel free to share yours.

Watch it for yourself and Decide

TBH I have been in a Kdrama slump all last year enjoyed Dyanmite Kiss bec it was a siÄșly fun to watch drama, so Ibwas waiting for this expecting the same but OH Boy what a surprise these 2 main leads match each other in everything and Go Youn Jung again and again shows how good of an actress she can be the snap between her persona and alter ego had me at Wow....it b is a Must watch for me and for many reasons. Ppl that watch dramas fastforwarding this is not for you, you need to pay attention not an ordinary fluffy prince charm and damsel in distress drama.

Highly recommended 👌!

Well excuted example of how too much cream can topple the cherry on the cake

This pretty much two dramas with the first 7 episode being a romantic melo-comedy with a sad ending followed by the final 6 epsiodes being a pychological romantic thriller with a happy ending but it is actually a very good excution so the genre shifting(similar to the many locations they go to) will keep you hooked and not annoy you. The two lead actors are the icing on the cake as they are the reason why why this has a high rewatch value for me espcailly seeing Go Youn-jung act in multiple unique personas. Kim Seon-ho role is simple but keeps us glued and is the glue in the push-pullesque chemistry. However this story did not need the Second leads to have such prominence. Their subplots where'nt just unrcessary but they were elongated and frankly with way too much screen time than what was required, although both the second leads did what's asked acting wise. This is one of the best examples of what happens when a production has way more budget than what it needs. Despite having a 9.5 level story, adding stuff for the second leads in teh screenplay dropped it all the way to 8.0. It is a huge potential wasted cause this could have been a 9.0+ rated kdrama easily, and probably an amazing and unique example of how to excute a genre switching screenplay perfectly.

Again you still get an amazing cake but its got too much cream for the cherry to sit on it. Most people are just going to skip the cream like I did in which case the last few epsiode where only 20-30 minutes long.

When Being a Hero Means Being Human

Cashero offers a refreshing take on the superhero genre by grounding heroism in everyday life. One quote that stayed with me was, “If a superhuman has no superpower, they’re just human,” along with the reflection on how heroes manage fighting evil while keeping a job and a family. This drama answers that thoughtfully. Here, being a hero isn’t about flashy abilities, but about responsibility, sacrifice, and choosing to stand up even when it’s hard.

Lee Jun Ho delivers a compelling performance, balancing vulnerability, quiet strength, and moral conflict with ease. His portrayal gives emotional weight to the story. Lee Chae Min is also a pleasant surprise. After his charming and lighter role in Bon AppĂ©tit, Your Majesty, his performance in Cashero feels more grounded and intense, showing clear growth and range as an actor. The entire cast—both actors and actresses—shines, creating strong chemistry and depth. Cashero ultimately reminds us that heroism is deeply human, and that’s what makes it memorable.

Mean, moody and magnificent

I loved this movie, and most reviews focus on the erotic scenes featuring the smoking hot bar hostess (played by the stunning Mami Fujimura), and on the horrific and difficult to watch train rape scene. However, a less memorable copulatory episode earlier in the movie served the purpose of introducing the unpredictable, aggressive and flawed nature of the Nozawa Shunsuke character (played by the mean, moody and magnificent Ren Osugi). Therefore, it is probably worth a mention in the interests of completeness although the scene pales in comparison to those involving the gorgeous Fujimara.

On leaving the bar on conclusion of the opening sequence, Nozawa is scouting a vehicle for temporary use in the hijack he is about to carry out, and soon chances upon a car parked up in a secluded backstreet location. At this point we are presented with an overly-long and drawn out seduction and lovemaking session involving a sleazy married commuter who has managed to coax a naĂŻve and top-heavy high school girl from the subway train back to his parked car.

“Nice tits” quips this smooth operator with a smirk, as he nonchalantly removes the bra and panties from the submissive girl. By the time Nozawa arrives on the scene, the short-lived romance is being vigorously consummated, and the girl is so overcome with passion that she does not notice the short-tempered Nozawa ominously striding up to the vehicle, pistol in hand. The shocked girl is then confronted with the black-leather clad Nozawa tapping on the window and demanding that she get out immediately. Apparently feeling that the confused girl did not respond fast enough to his command, Nozawa grabs the girl roughly by the hair and brutally pistol-whips her, before brutally dragging her out of the car and depositing the partially-clothed girl on the concrete with about as much care as he would dump a bag of trash.

It is worth noting that our hero treated the romeo who had been exploiting the girl’s naivety much less harshly, with an almost apologetic Nozawa explaining that he would leave the car undamaged and in an easy to find location once he has finished with it. The scene is purposeful as it dropped a hint to the viewer at an early stage not to get too emotionally attached to the male lead, although later we do see a more compassionate side of Nozawa, particularly regarding his doomed relationship with the beautiful Rinko.

I love Feiry! IYKYK. ?

I'm watching his current drama Love Between the Lines, and I had to say something about this drama, The Starry Love, too for it's when I first knew this actor Chen Xing Xu.
This drama is surely worth the watch - his three shards are my favorite characters 😆, especially the innocent Fiery.
He's so cool here, but most of the time he's that head over heels in love with the FL, Ye Tan (Li Landy). I love them both. I love their chemistry here, their scenes together, and the story. They share scenes where both of them act all goofy and played around. Though I had to cry at the end because of course, it's the plot giving you onions.
I also love the development of Chao Feng, the third prince. He appears playful and careless, but is actually cunning and deceitful even tricking Qing Kui, Ye Tan's twin, to believe he's the good guy. But he's actually the one scheming her demise. He shed off his deceitful character upon meeting and falling in love with Qing Kui.

***No Tail to Tell***

Engaging story with a perfect balance of mystery and emotional depth. Calm, well-paced storytelling that feels natural and meaningful. Strong character development without unnecessary drama. Beautiful cinematography and fantasy background music.
Kim Hye-yoon delivers a powerful and emotionally nuanced performance. Her expressions and body language convey complex emotions effortlessly. She brings depth, authenticity, and relatability to her character. Her acting adds strong impact to the story and elevates the overall drama

Overall, Kim Hye-yoon’s exceptional acting is a major highlight and a key reason the drama feels so compelling.

What kind of heart beats a person’s name?Khun Thee’s heart: Lookpeach. Lookpeach. Lookpeaccchhh

Me and Thee is so cheesy and stupid and I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Khun Thee is such a hilarious character. He can be cringey, especially with his "soap opera" lines, but Peach’s gentle and kind nature balances him out perfectly. Every time Khun Thee acts like a mafia boss in his fancy suit (and that one funny strand of hair on his forehead!)—using that deep voice and threatening tone—the background music and dramatic zooms crack me up. I enjoyed seeing how meeting Peach made Thee realize he wasn't living a "normal" life and that there is more to the world than just being rich.

Mok is equally funny; his judgy expressions, his tendency to get fed up with Thee, and his sassy clapbacks are so entertaining to watch.

Peach is a fantastic character; I always love characters who are genuinely kind. Even though he was scared and intimidated by Thee in the beginning, he was still really nice to him.

The episode where Peach took Thee on as his assistant to show him "normal" life was lovely. For the first time, Thee got to experience a regular existence, and it was heartwarming to see how Peach made him happy with the little things and took great care of him. The part where Thee wrote his name on Peach’s arm because everything that’s his has his name marked on it was adorable, as was him adoring the wind chime he got from Peach. I enjoyed the flight ticket tantrum scene, it was over the top and PondPhuwin delivered their lines well.

I’m a huge fan of PondPhuwin, they are so cute as a pair, and I’m glad to see them back in a rom-com series. I love how Pond’s characters are obsessed with Phuwin’s in every universe. Also, what I love about PondPhuwin’s shows is that they don’t necessarily need a lot of kissing or intimate scenes; the chemistry and the spark are always there. I am in awe of how Pond managed to deliver Khun Thee’s lines so shamelessly and endeared at how Phuwin managed not to laugh at Pond. Pond killed it as Khun Thee, but the one who had me kicking my legs and biting my pillow and driving me insane was Phuwin, oh my god, Phuwin! Wtf. When did he get this hot? Damn he’s so fine, we both need to get a grip Khun Thee!!

Est was a total scene-stealer with his hilarious expressions and that cunty wardrobe! the glasses, the vest, the gun holster, the tiny waist! He looked incredible. William was also cute as Rome; he looked so tiny standing next to Est. Their part was so short though. I didn’t really enjoy PerthSanta’s storyline.

Overall, I really, really enjoyed this show, I’ll add this to the list of my comfort shows.

Satisfying Reborn Drama

I watched Lu Lulu drama and found this second collaboration with Liu Ning. I liked their first collaboration but there is no page in MDL.

In her previous life, FL's father was falsely accused of treason by her new husband (SML) and her adopted sister (SFL), and her entire family was executed. FL and the SML died together. Four years later, the ML appeared and promised to help her seek justice.

FL is reborn on the day SML proposes marriage. SML is also reborn, and the proposal turns into a broken engagement. SML asks to marry the SFL. FL's parents disagree, and FL exposes the affair between the SML and SFL letting her parents see the SML's true colors and severing ties with him.

ML is a time traveler who falls in love with the FL at first sight. Initially, he doesn't want to discuss marriage due to his own ambitions, but he gradually wavers as he spends time with her.

The plot flows smoothly and the pacing is fast. Lu Lulu is absolutely gorgeous in ancient costume. Liu Ning is really for ancient drama.

RomCom with a twist and lots of mixed feelings

After waiting for years, CTLBT is finally shown in Netflix as one of their most awaited deamas for 2026. The series is not the typical romcom we expect
there’s more to it than langauage translations

I love all the actors acting. How calm yet passionate Ho Jin is was excellently portrayed by Kim Seon Ho. GYJ was great as Mu Hee/Do Ra Mi and Sota Fukushi has natural comedic timing.

The cinematography were superb. The storyline might be a little more than expected but all in all, it was a great watch that I didn’t need to skip on episodes!

A MASTERPIECE with a UNIQUE plot, Cinematography & Acting is in on next level, Must Watch

You will surely fall in love with the cinematography & this unique plot, so different from other kdramas. Not only romance, but also a little mystery & thriller vibe included. A slow-burning romance with great acting, FL did a great job with her acting. I can feel her emotions deeply in this drama. This drama is more realistic. Not only the FL, but also ML & other actors did a great job. Production is so good & I love the very unique plot. I love how they captured nature to showcase the cinematography. A masterpiece, you never wanna skip 10 seconds in this drama, it's really interesting & enjoyable with a happy ending. I love the music & songs included in this drama. A Must Watch.
