Remarkable acting
I would recommend this if you like summer romance stories, Emily Henry romance books, and non-toxic love triangles. This definitely is a peaceful and calm comfort romance. What I liked: the female lead was admirable, but at the same time relatable; the relationship between the brothers was very touching; realistic storyline with no unrealistic drama; representation of dedication and passion for cooking.
What I disliked: the tempo of the story was a bit uneven, and lots of development happened in the last two episodes; sometimes I was irritated by the low EQ of every character in the show.
The best part of this story wasn't romance but rather the satisfaction when all complicated feelings between all the characters are sorted out. I think the acting was very good in this show, especially for a short J-drama.

A blueprint of romantic K-dramas
This is one of those dramas that will forever feel nostalgic. Without this drama, I think the K-drama industry wouldn't be as it is currently, with heart-fluttering moments, dramatic twists and extra comical characters. Putting this legacy reputation aside, I think this drama is definitely interesting plot-wise. It keeps you on your toes more than multiple others. But at the same time, if it isn't your first time watching a drama like this and you know all the cheesy tropes, then it can get repetitive and tiring really fast. ML and FL have a toxic push-and-pull relationship. It started to bother me more towards the end because I had hoped they would grow out of it eventually, but they didn't. Both leads are also extremely childish throughout the whole series. The cast was chosen very wisely, I think no one lacked in that regard. Was this review helpful to you?

I disliked the ML character
OK I was saving this drama in my shelf since i didn't have mood to watch Miqi at that time and I watched this last week. The actual drama was below average to my liking and yeah the voice was being dubbed has not making this drama better. Wang Haozhen still delivers his acting but Miqi is quite weak on terms of acting too bad i quite like her looks. Considering Miqi she never do real kiss (there is only one but yeah she always do tricks on kissing scene).
The blood-drawing trope is so uncool! Treating it as a way to repay a debt of gratitude is even more uncool. I forced myself since i am quite lenient person. Fortunately FL was smart by using pig blood. ML was quite bad person and didn't deserve FL at all.
Only recommended to hardcore fans.

Ultimate guilty pleasure watch
I would recommend if you like heart-fluttering slow-burn rom-coms, klutzy female leads and cold male leads. Being a fan of the sunshine/grumpy trope, I can say with 95% certainty that this is the best textbook example of the trope. What I liked: the chemistry between the two leads; character development of the male lead; the comedic acting of supporting characters; actors making unrealistic characters (something which had bothered me in the manga and anime) more human.
What I disliked: the female lead being an extremely unrealistic pushover sometimes, instead of being it a normal amount.
This is definitely at the top of my guilty pleasure rewatch list. I have read the manga and seen the anime as well, and this drama outdid them while still sticking very closely to the original storyline.

Dare i say better than Theory of Love lol!!!! I said what i said!!
This is such an action packed series. I was having a lengthy review before the page got reloaded and erased all my shit. Wtf!!! So yeah. The twists and turns of this series is impeccable.White entering as Black to the group, Yok finding UNAR in the midst of setting Tawi's property afire. Everything. Dan being UNAR who was revealed to be an unwilling murdered of Sean's father. The action scenes were so engaging. 10x better than Theory of Love. This has been a great watch!! This is a great pick for people whos bored of overused, simple or boring plot/tone of BL Series. It really shone through each of character's development. I fucking love this so much.
One thing for me:
Im bored with str8t couple lol. Gram and Namo. Not feeling it.
I also find First and Gawin's pairing to be a bit mehhh. FirstKhao through and through. Although i gotta commend Gawin for being able to convey emotion effortlessly especially during the nude painting scene. This series speaks out vigilantism getting out of hand and the oppressive reign of powerful people at the top. I also find it confusing when it's presumed that Gram might have had feelings for Black way back then. I ws disappointed it didnt take that route. I love how serious this series is. It really shows u the reflection of people being oppressed and resorting to being rebellious groups to overthrow moguls in the country. We got some romance here and there. From the way i see it, its like 70% action, 30% romance. But thats not to say it's a boring or shitty series. It's really great. The casting and the acting were on point. Damn, Gun really have that duality in him. He can be soft. He can be tough.
Overall the series became OffGun's magnum opus to date. Let's see in their next series. It's certainly not a fave but sure as hell, an honorable mention 👏👏👏

Cheesy drama without a great story development
I would recommend if you like cute and heart-fluttering rom-coms; cheesy dramas but dislike extensive dramatic plot twists. It is a guilty pleasure watch for sure. What I liked: Takeru Satoh's charm, the wholesome vibe of the show.
What I disliked: lack of character development for everyone; weird progression tempo of the story.
You would have to be a fan of rom-coms to enjoy it, and even then, you aren't most likely satisfied with the show. I felt like 10 episodes were too few for the show to progress normally and give this really aching slow-burn feel. The ending was rushed and packed with unnecessary content, and I enjoyed the middle episodes a lot more. I read the manga this show was based on after and the adaptation of the script is quite bad. Manga had multiple layers of character development (even though it was also quite short) and the leads were actually believable as real human beings. Would rewatch it only for Takeru Satoh, who played his part well (at least how well the script allowed him to).

I love the ambiguous tension between the lead.
I watched this last year and i quite like Feng Ming Chao-Meng Na version (The best version of the adaptation). so i give this version try.The plot is actually so-so, the supporting characters' constant bickering is annoying, and FL doesn't suffer any losses. Yang Han and Meng Lu are are good-looking and very pleasing to the eye. But Meng Lu chemistry with Yang Han isn't strong. Honestly, in Yang Han's several dramas, I haven't felt much chemistry with any of the main characters. There aren't many sweet moments, but they're quite sweet. The kisses was decent even it was not sensual. This drama offers ambiguous tension that i enjoy.
Stills decent drama to watch.

Great idea, mid execution
I felt like the development of the story wasted the potential this show and its actors had. The beginning was very promising in my opinion. I loved the whole architecture companies rivalling part of the series. I also felt the main leads had good chemistry. Loved the supporting male character (ML's coworker with glasses). Ending was just messy, I had low-key anticipated this aswell because of the whole famous-dad-who-doesn't-show-up-until-the-end thing. I felt ML and FL were quite realistically written. Supporting love rivals were a bit too exaggerated in my opinion and the show made them too dislikeable. Was this review helpful to you?
It’s been a long time since I had a top-tier K-drama.
Just 10/10 overall for me.I don’t know why the ratings are like this, but Can This Love Be Translated is on the same level as QOT and LR.
People likely thought it would be a full-on comedy because of the genre, but Queen of Tears wasn't purely comedy either.
What makes this drama special is how it handles communication. It’s not just about language barriers, but emotional ones. The characters don’t just struggle to express love—they struggle to understand it, which makes every misunderstanding, hesitation, and confession feel meaningful instead of frustrating.
The chemistry between the leads is subtle but powerful. Their moments together feel natural, like two people slowly learning each other’s rhythms rather than being forced into romance. The silences, the small looks, and the awkward pauses say more than long dialogues ever could.
Visually, the drama is soft and intimate. The cinematography and soundtrack match the tone perfectly—quiet, warm, and slightly melancholic, making every scene feel like a memory.
Even though the ratings might not be explosive, this drama is on the same emotional level as Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner. It’s the kind of story that stays with you after the episode ends, making you think about love, timing, and the things we fail to say.

totally inspiring
i watched this while going through a peek of a depressive episode, i have to admit that it really impacted me. i cried, i laughed, i reflected, i felt identified.... it may sound ridiculous, but it gave me hope. i'm so afraid of life, but to know that it actually gets better, it makes me feel motivated to keep trying :')Was this review helpful to you?

Plot was decent but i need to rewatch to remember again.
I watched this last year and actually the plot was quite decent but this drama was so forgettable. The plot is about FL was being in love with ML for 7 years while ML always giving her empty promises. When ML abandoning FL at their engagement party for his white moonlight FL is totally leaving ML without any doubt and when she leave ML her bad mouth bad omen power here is functional for many times.
Song Yujia nailed the resilient FL and I really stunned by Wei Ruochen acting as scumbag. Charon acting in this drama was so weak and the chemistry between him and Song Yujia almost non-exist in entire drama.
And the maid was quite refreshing character.
Recommended to watch.

Great acting but confusing ending
The thing I enjoyed most about the drama was the separate character development for the main characters and the most important supporting characters. The main couple's chemistry was very sweet and down-to-earth, definitely refreshing if you want a change from the high school/first perfect love trope. ML is very charming here, a cool and smart lead who shows some realistic warmth from time to time. FL is actually super sweet while being mature at the same time.Ending left me a bit confused. Not even in the sense of plot but rather how the whole thing played out in the last episodes and the vibe of it all. It reminded me of a 10-episode J-drama - slow-burn progression overall but lots of plot dumping at the end. For me personally, it didn't ruin the story as a whole, but at the same time it didn't give me the feeling of ultimate satisfying ending either.

Interminable storyline.
I am only giving this 8, because, although Babe worked so hard to really be a traditional Thai dancer - and he pulled it off! - this whole show could have been finished in 9 to 10 episodes.Interminable is a good name for it, as it was dreadfully slow....I played it at 1:25 for a lot of the time.
However, I *did* love the story, the NC scenes (artfully executed), and the settings. And, it was a happy ending!

Strong Start, Messy Finish
I initially intended to give this show a solid 9 out of 10 because I genuinely enjoyed it. However, as the series progressed, certain plot developments felt unnecessary and poorly executed. In particular, the sudden introduction of her having a brother seemed random and rushed. It was difficult to believe that an entire family could go years without mentioning or acknowledging a child, even considering the explanation that she had forgotten. The idea that no one in the family reflected on their son or held any form of memorial for his death felt unrealistic, and that storyline ultimately took me out of the experience. After episode twelve, it began to feel as though new plot points were being added simply to fill time and create an ending, rather than to naturally develop the story. That said, there were aspects of the show that I truly appreciated. I loved that the main couple did not break up despite the male lead dealing with trauma related to his mother. In many K-dramas, relationships fall apart when characters face emotional stress or traumatic events, so it was refreshing to see him find comfort and support in her instead. That choice added emotional depth to their relationship and was one of my favorite parts of the series.
