This is my first ever C-Drama and, honestly? it set the bar really high for whatever might come next.I think the story is great, with the growth of both Changyu and Xie Zheng flawlessly combining with the court affairs and multiple battles. The setpieces are incredible, with great action and superb prop design. Everything, from the flow of the capes to the look of the armor is amazing, especially when the stellar soundtrack is blessing your ears.
I would give it a 9/10, but the last two episodes do drag it down a bit for me: the main antagonist for most of the story, Qi Min, is defeated rather quickly and the spotlight he had is given to Zheng's uncle Wei Yan, the evolution of his story being in my opinion a bit cliche. Basically Wei Yan is somewhat excused of what he's done, framing him as a victim of the previous emperor. Honestly, the last two episodes pretty much shift the blame to the previous Emperor himself, making everyone seem like a lesser evil that originated from his deeds.
While I did not enjoy the ending, the story overall is amazing and the drama is great.

Love Gap the series
I never knew anything about thai GLs. One day i saw youtube video and watched the series. The OST was a fun and i like it so much.Sam and Mon are different characters who fall in love and i felt as though it happens in real life. It may feel cringe , but we do cringey stuff in real life that too in first love. So even when ppl criticize that , i feel its real and appeals to me. They liking each other and not understanding it was fun to see. The friends were a good support to Sam. This story had solid back story of Sam and why she is very cold to others and is a weird person. At first we will be wondering if we should like Khun Sam, but we see her life and understand her and she is a softie at heart and such a sweetheart for her lover. She does many mistakes but apologizes and changes herself for Mon. I like her character arc.
So happy that i watched it.
The rewatch quality of this series is so high. Because of this i saw many GLs. But still come back to watch Gap the series. It has romance, comedy, sadness, love for family , friendship , character arc and above everything happy ending for GLs.
I will always adore this series. Gives me happiness everytime i watch it.

Sick and tired of toxic BL men
Most chinese productions have a particular pitch- exaggerated melodrama. Not always bad, but mostly unrealistic. This also follows the same path.It started out sweet and fluffy, lulling me into a false sense of security and then bam! SA. The main character can be bad, but there should be acknowledgement of it in the narrative, otherwise you are just excusing that behaviour.
I can't say anything about the technical aspects, because I dropped it. The production quality looked decent in the initial episodes.
Watch at your own discretion.

Picked me up from the grave
One of the few dramas in a long time that I binged in just 18 hours. I loved every second of it and was hooked from one episode to the next.I've been in a Kdrama slump for the past few months, and this genuinely felt like it picked me up from the grave ðŸ˜
Lee Jun Young absolutely carried this role. I enjoyed every single one of his scenes, and this drama just reminded me again what a great actor he is.
It had everything - comedy, thrill, emotion, and just the right amount of cuteness. The villains will have you by the neck because you'll be desperately waiting for their downfall 😠I kept thinking, how much lower can these twins go just to sit on the throne? The way they kept scheming against each other, despite being family, honestly gave me Game of Thrones vibes. Absolutely ruthless.
Also... I hated Chairman Na and his daughter with a passion 💀
On the brighter side, I absolutely adored Hwang Jun Hyeon, Kang Bang Geul, Manager Park Bong Gi <333 literally the BEST team ever. And of course MD Lee Sang Jae (the pookiest bestie 🥹), Kang Yong Ho, and Jun Hyeon's grandma. They had my whole heart.
Definitely worth your time and 100/100 will pick you up from the drama slump (if you're in one). 9.5 because the ending didn't really make sense to me and felt a bit unnecessary, but yeh... it was all for the fun.

It's just all over the place
It feels off for some reason, like super awkward in most scenes. I can't pinpoint exactly what, screenplay/direction/editing, something is not working. There are issues with the plot, hopefully it will be fixed in coming episodes. The acting is bad, partially probably due to bad direction as well. They have chemistry, but the NC scenes so far felt very uncomfortable. I was looking forward to a series that included all aspects of omegaverse, but I don't know if this will be enjoyable.

A Perfect Blend of Darkness and Mystery — Mr. Kill!
Mr. Kill kicks off with a gripping and well-structured plot. As someone who absolutely loves murder mysteries, this drama feels like a complete blessing. Even after just the first episode, it’s clear that the storyline is intense, layered, and already delivering—it truly ate. When it comes to acting, there was never any doubt—and once again, they did not disappoint. Dew’s character is the most intriguing part. He isn’t just one person; he embodies four distinct sides:
1. The version he presents to the world.
2. K-Cupid.
3. Mr. Kill—the hidden identity no one knows about (though I personally feel he might not actually be Mr. Kill; it could be someone else, possibly a fan imitating the role from the manga using the same method).
4. His true self—the one he has to face every single day, which is deeply admirable.
The dark, mysterious atmosphere is absolutely top-tier and adds so much depth to the story. Overall, this is the kind of series that doesn’t just entertain—you don’t get tired of it. Instead, it slowly pulls you in until you find yourself completely hooked and genuinely loving it.

reminds you of High School!
it takes you back to when being a kid or a high schooler of doing whatever you wanted to do and have fun, relationships were part of everything but being friends was the best part of growing up! how many of us went threw this kind of puppy love amongst each other? we had secret crushes and no one ever knew hahaha! when oranges fall, when oranges fall, when oranges fall, when oranges fall, when oranges fall, when oranges fall! hopefully they make a second season or follow up clips to keep us guessing as to who really fell in love with each other, who would ever dream of being in love with your best friend let alone your class mate? over its fictional but the story line is crazy real with today’s society and the title When Oranges Fall what’s the true meaning? Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting story
This was a good drama, i really enjoyed watching it. The story is interesting. And yes it has some flaws, but they are minor. The fighting scenes were done very well. The visuals are great and the music is good!
All the actors did a great job, the ones that stood out for me were Foei and Tai.
And off course the mains, i love how effortless their chemistry is. Their kisses are good and so was the NC Scene. They even added a bit of humor into that scene, i loved that!
I really recommend watching this drama.

frickin goated show i love it sm
def one of the best modern cdramas i've watched! perhaps one of my top 10 dramas of all time. the romance is just sooooo good and the angst?!?! ugh i frickin love bao shangen and zhou keyu mannnn they're both so fine and ugh i want both of them frzhou wan and lu xixiao's chemistry is through the roof! its so insane. the tension?!?! ugh too good. the acting was just phenomenal
there's def some plot holes and ?? moments, and the ending like you don't really see much of characters from previously but they wrapped it up pretty well. i wish there were more episodes with zw and lxx!!
i think the storyline was well written. the story hate is mainly because of like why zhou wan did certain things but you gotta keep in mind that this girl went through so many traumatic events all before the age of 18. like she never got to experience being a kid because she had to grow up so fast. and ofc there will be times where she does something and you're like ?? but keep in mind this girl is 18. like come onnnnn give her a break TT
also the ost is just perfection *chefs kiss* not a single flop they're all bangers
yea not a single bad thing to say... its just that good
p.s. zhou wan's outfits throughout the whole show?!?! she looked sooo good. her stylist needs a big fat kiss fr
note: 2nd (10 years later / adult) arc starts ep 20

Good concepts/character with poor execution
Pros:- The leads are refreshingly unconventional for a historical drama. The female lead struggles with mental health issues, while the male lead lives with a disability. Watching them confront challenges that most people could never fully understand made them compelling characters.
- The plot twist involving the monkeys and Linshan Mountain was genuinely surprising and well executed.
- The first half of the drama is excellent. The female lead methodically puts her revenge plans into motion, and her eccentric personality and unusual habits make her stand out from typical heroines. The retelling of the beginning from different perspectives was good.
Cons:
- The breakup and divorce arc near the end was baffling and made the male lead come across as petty and hypocritical. After the female lead healed his legs, restored happiness to his family, and cleared the injustice surrounding his clan, he decides to divorce her over a mistake committed by her mother. The reasoning simply doesn't hold up. First, he was also responsible for the military mistake that caused those cities to fall, so he has little moral high ground. Second, he insists he doesn't want her to stay out of pity, only to turn around and pity her himself after learning the truth. Finally, after everything she sacrificed and accomplished for him, casting her aside so quickly felt completely undeserved and made it difficult to sympathize with him.
- I know white-haired male leads are a popular trope, but the look just didn't suit him.
- Too many side characters contributed little to the story while taking up valuable screen time. Characters like the dowager concubine, FL's naive sister, the assassin who never won a fight, and the evil marquis's son added very narrative value and left so much unresolved.
Overall:
An average drama with a strong and promising first half that ultimately squandered its potential through a frustrating final act.

could’ve been amazing but meh in the end
Short one for now bc my brain is just not present. For the people who came here for the mains Max and Nat, there was definitely a lot of fan Service in this one. The plot itself was interesting yk premise wise, and I do quite like when there is some sort of fantasy element in the stories that I watch. However, it felt like this one was just kinda meh In the execution of the actual plot, but there is also not a lot the actors can do if the plot was just a mess in general. I feel like they did a wonderful job with what they were given. So I will say, It was painful to get through with the whole plot lines and all of that but the fan Service made it worth it.
I will be rating it on chemistry lovely great fantastic fabulous they have a tendency to be real comfortable with each other 10/10 no complaints there.
Acting 9/10 there were things that annoyed me but their acting especially is amazing.
story/plot 6/10. It was a watch it was definitely a watch but man it could have been so much more than it was.

Must watch this before season 4! Highly recommend for Zhou Keyu fans.
If you’re a Zhou Keyu fan or are curious about his personality and want to learn more about him, you absolutely have to watch We Are the Champions, especially watch in order from Seasons 1-3 before Season 4. I highly recommend at least watching the parts featuring Keyu’s teams, because seeing the full journey makes his growth arc so much more meaningful.Season 3 is especially important because it shows the beginning of the team’s journey and how their chemistry, trust, and communication are built from the ground up. It’s not a story about a perfect team from the start—it’s about struggles, setbacks, learning from mistakes, and slowly becoming stronger together. You get to see Keyu not only as a talented player, but also as someone learning what it means to take responsibility, lead, and grow alongside his teammates.
What makes this show so addictive is that it’s not just about winning games. It’s about the people behind the game: the friendships, the teamwork, the coaching, the difficult moments, and the breakthroughs that make every victory feel earned. Watching Seasons 1-3 gives you the full context to appreciate the growth, development, and emotional journey that follows.
So before jumping into Season 4, I highly recommend going back and watching the journey first—you’ll understand the players, the teams, and the story so much more deeply. Seasons 1-2 were entertaining and got me fully hooked on the show and Zhou Keyu's arc but seasons 3-4 were the best, most Epic and thrilling seasons!

A slow burn that shines because of the characters
i’m kinda conflicted about Still Shining because i genuinely enjoyed it, but i also don’t think it’s as flawless as some people make it out to be.what i liked most was the atmosphere. it has this quiet, comforting vibe that makes you want to keep watching even when not much is happening. the emotional moments usually land because the drama takes its time with the characters instead of rushing everything.
the acting was probably the strongest part for me. even when the story slowed down, the cast made the relationships feel believable. i found myself caring about the characters more than i expected, and that’s what kept me invested.
that said… the pacing is definitely going to divide people. there were episodes where it felt like the story barely moved forward, and a few plotlines could’ve been trimmed without losing anything important. some emotional scenes also felt a bit repetitive, like the drama kept making the same point instead of trusting the audience to get it.
the romance (if you’re watching for that) is more about emotional growth than constant butterflies, which i appreciated. it’s subtle, sometimes frustrating, but it feels earned by the end.
the cinematography and soundtrack deserve a mention too. they’re not flashy, but they fit the tone perfectly and really add to the overall feeling of the drama.
overall, i don’t think this is a drama for people looking for nonstop twists or fast-paced storytelling. it’s slower, more character-driven, and asks for a little patience. if that’s your thing, there’s a lot to appreciate here. if it isn’t, i can totally understand why it wouldn’t click.
for me, it’s not perfect, but it’s one of those dramas that sticks with you because of how sincere it feels rather than because it does anything groundbreaking.

"Good enough to finish, not enough to remember."
Doctor on the Edge is a decent medical drama that remains watchable from start to finish. The performances are solid, and the medical setting adds enough interest to keep the story moving.
While it has a few engaging moments, it never reaches the emotional or dramatic heights needed to stand out.
The pacing is steady, but the overall experience feels fairly average.
It's an okay one-time watch if you're looking for a light medical drama.
