comece a ver o qto antes

Why ?

Story : not new storyline. Story could have been much improved by fewer eps of stretching. This is a story of character development, maturing and life lessons that limped to the finish line. Even with the delay strategy was done completed however it had potential to be powerful.
Cast: ML & FL had the correct chemistry. The rest of cast played their roles appropriately.
Music: okay
Overall: ML carried this drama with believable development. I skipped several eps due to stagnation. Got to finish line with the final eps nosediving into blerg.

As sweet as a peach

This was a sweet story. What do you do when you are 27 and never had a boyfriend and then all of a sudden get confessed to by 3 men... Cute cofusion all around...

The visuals and music were beautiful.
The actors did a great job and the final couple did have good chemistry and kisses.

I also liked te little epilogues after some episodes.

I do recommend watching this cute drama.

A delightful mix of homage, humor, and love.

This drama just made me into writing my first ever review on MDL that’s how much I loved this drama. A story filled with laughter and grief for family, friendship, and love. The emotional intensity between the genie and gayoung is utterly captivating. The plot is compact and impactful. The acting is incredible, SUZY and Kim Woobin never fail to impress me and has just won my heart once again. The ending is truly the best one, one of the most beautiful and satisfying one. I have watched hundreds of dramas but had never seen an ending like this before! BRAVO! it’s truly the kdrama of the year for me!

Antisocial personality disorder, often seen as terrifying, played a key role and became a major source of angst in the drama. A psychopath, who had been ostracized wherever she went. Her ultimate wish, born from her unfulfilled humanity, is to feel humanity and her resolve to die for her beloved’s freedom. An evil genie, who never acknowledged the equal value of all lives, unilaterally regains his past memories and realized his own arrogance created the fatal cycle of his past and present lives, his pain intensified a hundredfold and finally bowing to love, trading immortality to honor his beloved as righteous, has deeply moved me.

Low budget and low intrigue

12 episodes at approximately 20 minutes each and it was still boring. It wasn’t traumatic, horrific or disturbing but just a bit dull.. the story is about the male lead who is an immortal and got separated from the FL back in the day in tragic circumstances. He finds her again in this idyllic island and they rekindle their love and she slowly regained her memories from her past life throughout the show.. he has some curse put on him that doesn’t allow him to touch or kiss or have any intimate contact with the female lead but they decide to get married overcome a couple of difficulties and live happily ever after. The end.

The Prince and His Suitors

"Yoo Do Ha!" Gyeon would shout his name as if he owned him. His person. His love that he has patiently waited to hold for the past 10 years. He protected. He supported. He encouraged. In doing all of this he created a bubble surrounding Do Ha who didn't recognize his feelings until he was forced to. Other participants wanted to be his person also. Ha Ram, who tried to be seen and Yeon Sang, who waited from afar. From the onset, it's pretty obvious who would win. Therein lies where the story falls short.

Do Ha held the cards but played the safest most timid hand ever. There were no standout moments to catch your breath or agree that he made the right choice. They shared memories and in those memories, he saw how Gyeon put him first. The only difference between Gyeon and Yeon Sang was the ten years of frienship. Yeon Sang was just as direct and open about his feelings for him. He sought his best interest and fought for his reinstatement.

There was no real spark between Do Ha and Gyeon. It felt like a transition than a passionate love. Ha Ram the first to express his feelings was never really a part of the scenario as he was only given about 10 minutes of screen time to prove his worth. He failed. He hurt the most.

I liked the gentleness of the story. It didn't feel rushed. It also was too gentle. This rippled down to the end with no bang. No build up. Flashbacks used to create Do Ha and Gyeon's relationship and those of the initial approaches of his other suitors were delivered with some warmth. It was not a pleasant experience of Gyeon constant shouting of his name. Given the roles their acting was good as each character was well defined. The story telling was just a little too serene.
It is still a very decent watch. Enjoy.

OH MY GOODNESS!

I set the lowest expectation ever, but I didn't expect it to be so good.
I am a fan of the original drama from 2000s, starred Huang Haibing and Rebecca Wang Yan.

I can see how much of a fan the directer/writer is as well! It really shows in the work. The way male lead is still gentle towards Bai Fei Fei and walking on foot while she rides on his horse, all the little things they kept original are so sweet. The way male lead hold the female lead while fighting, it was done almost as good as when Huang Haibing did it in the past, it didn't disappoint. Lots of productions these days can't handle scenes like that, they make it cheesy and cheap. Just a little scene like that they can't even handle, don't even mention the word Wuxia, they can't handle Wuxia genre at all! But this drama is reviving the great name of Wuxia, the fighting choreography is nicely done and not lazy. On top of that, cinematography is great. I am familiar with the actor but the actress is very new to me, to my surprise she is such a pleasant pick, I'm so glad they starred the right people. I am one of the harshest critiques ever, I am only a few episodes in and VERY SATISFIED with this, speaking as a huge fan of the 2000s adaptation.

I’m never going to watch a love triangle as it’s coming out again

The best friend was like the worst option. He was fist fighting everyone just cus he was jealous. Haram was so irrelevant. In my opinion Team Leader was the best. He was kind and respectful. I’m genuinely so confused why they didn’t make him the ml if he had the best personality. Also at least from the eps I watched the team leader had the most chemistry. I’m not even trying to be a hater like I genuinely didn’t see anything between the friend and the mc. Maybe it’s the MC actors fault or just the writing for the character because he was really bland.

Overall: it had so much potential and the writers and directors fumbled it. This was so bad omg. What a waste of my time.

THERES NOTHING PEACHY ABOUT THIS TRAP

We as viewers are trapped, but no theres nothing peachy about it.

First of all, i am confused about the title. Being peachy means being good so does that mean its a good trap or are they being stucked in a good way? Or is it maybe implying something deeper meaning like homosexualilty since its not a concidence that this is a BL drama.

The first episode was rousing and intriguing. 3 seme guys are fighting over the obviously uke Doha. It has the mystery solving vibe to find out who kissed DoHa and who will win his heart. Except it is very obvious from the opening credits and the amount of screentime who will win in the end.

You realized after 3 episodes that this show is just running circles and going nowhere. Doha's charm quickly fizzled as we find out more (or lack thereof) and that he is just a 16 year old stucked in a 27 year old body. Like how conservative is Korea for them to pull this modus on us to make ius believe that this is a 27 year old guy's first kiss, and all these 4 guys are acting as if this is all their first time to date (or pursue someone) ever. The plot is perfect if the setting is in college or high school - but super stupid in the adult world.

I also really dont understand Korea's insistence of pushing a movie-length content and dividing it in 8 short episodes. The weekly wait just makes it annoying and what could have palatable as movie becomes so bland and underdeveloped as a series. Thisi s basically a short story overly stretchd to fit the 8 episode order.

Would i recommend? Not particularly, not unless you have gazillions of free time or if you need some background movie while cooking.
Would i rewatch? Hell no.

i do however think we'd see more of Lee Do Han as a leading man in the future.

Overall the series is a 6.5 for me.

Needed more episodes

I think this show would have been a great one with 20 episodes in total.

The story is interesting, the reveals are fun, the characters are believable. I really enjoy this type of con/heist type shows that are lighter in tone than what the Korean media usually comes up with. I liked how this show managed to keep it light but still hint at the darker themes. The balance was kept well.

The problem was, they didn't have enough time to cement their main theme. When the line comes at the end, it rings hollow. Not only that, it reads as something else entirely.

Overall though, I really enjoyed it. Park Minyoung was absolutely brilliant in this.

*spoilers*
When Yirang says Yoseop lost because he didn't have a community, it's totally news to us as the audience that "community vs individualism" was the theme of the show. We've seen cases against greed and cases against callousness, but they didn't develop this enough for this line to land. Instead, we've seen Yirang and her rich clique taking down a man who made his way up the social ladder through playing the rich. If they had more time developing the villain beyond that, this show would have been a 10 for me.
*spoilers*

Cute as a peach, lacking the pit!

The premise of this drama is straightforward as it gets. Yoo Doha is a sweet, awkward young man who has somehow navigated his entire life without a single romantic experience and is suddenly thrown into a love square with 3 different men.

Have we seen this before? Yes. *Coughs secret relationships* Is it reinventing the wheel? No. So what does it do? It decides to bedazzle the wheel with peach colored fluff and aggressive cutesiness. And to be fair, for the first few episodes, it kind of works and then just gets very predictable.

The plot never pretends to be complex, which is fine but it also forgets to be tight. Don't get me wrong, the characters are adorable but deeply underwritten. Doha, our protagonist, is cute in the "someone protect him from literally everything" way. But he is painfully underdeveloped or has a personality that evolves. If I have to define his personality, it would revolve around being startled or confused or mildly flustered. It's sweet initially and then I started wishing he would develop at least one additional trait. I just couldn't understand why he would trigger a romantic hunger games between 3 men.

Coming to the 3 love rivals, none of them has a functioning sense of boundaries.
Team Leader Jeon: The cold yet caring, strict boss whose personality flips for Doha. Lovely idea because who doesn't love a tsundere lead, but the bond isn't developed enough or shown to us on screen that I would believe he would risk his professional integrity going out of the way to play protector. He was definitely my favourite from the lot but I felt the writing didn’t give us enough build-up to fully showcase him.

Yeon HaRam: Our resident flirt. Till the end, I didn't understand him or why he did. I didn't feel any chemistry between him and Doha. He was definitely charming in a brooding way (if it makes sense lol). He has the same problem as the rest. The writing gave his sparkles but not enough foundation.

Taek Gyeon: Flag bearer of friends-to-lovers trope. We see most of him, and it’s no surprise I ended up rooting for him. Since they share a history together, somehow his feelings made more sense logically and we got enough context in comparison with the other 2 suitors. Though I am not too impressed with his courting ways, out of all the peaches, I would pick him. He and Doha were really cute together and that's about it.

Honestly, the love rivals had better personalities, in my humble opinion when compared to Doha. Each of them brought something distinct to the story and Doha often felt flatter. The chemistry works in moments, but never settles into something truly satisfying. It's like the drama casted three attractive leads and hoped their combined good looks would distract you from the fact that no one here has any real character growth.

That said it somehow works as a good romcom. There were some heart-fluttering moments, but it plays too safe that nothing stands out. Nothing is unwatchable, but nothing is memorable either.

Visually, the drama is pretty with soft lighting, calm colour palettes, the whole “gentle K-romcom glow.”
Coming to the acting, Jung Su Bin as Yoo Doha was not that impressive for me. I don't know if it was the "deer caught in the headlights" character or the writing or the acting itself, but it failed to leave an impression on me. The remaining 3 leads were fine. Again nothing to run home about, but also not bad.

Overall, it’s cute, yes.
It’s entertaining, yes.
Does it deliver anything new to the BL landscape? Not really.
Does it reach the emotional depth or any? Sadly no.

I would recommend this only if you go in expecting a fluffy distraction rather than a fully fleshed-out romance. This drama sit on the shelf of "dramas I liked but didn't loved".

Short, Focused, and Perfect

I literally have no complaints about this show. It has great acting, great writing, great cinematography, etc.

Both lead actresses did a great job. What I loved about Aokbob and Rin was how great they were as both lovers AND friends. They're a great team, and they'll always have each others' backs. I also love how their relationship was fully supported by all of their siblings and colleagues. There's no homophobia here.

The show also had a solid supporting cast. Tertis was adorable, Mind had a pretty solid (and believable) redemption arc, and Thee was just as entertaining as he was corrupt.

It was refreshing to see a Thai GL drama that revolved around architecture, and explored topics like forgiveness, and how revenge might not always be the best solution when you've been wronged.

Excellent drama for a short watch

Overview
Excellent drama for a short watch, highly recommended

Pros:
• Awesome chemistry between ML/FL- acting/ kisses etc
• SML/ SFL were really good and supportive friends (fun element of the drama too)
• Nice plot with quite unique (atleast not so common) elements- for example: the couple game show etc
• Loved all the songs <3

Cons:
• Short drama with quite a lot of sub plots, made a few parts feel rushed but they weren’t that bad either
• SFL can be a bit extra at times but its again a pretty normal trait for a SL
• Second leads story was sorta rushed and unnecessary imo (they just wanted to add a sad element?)

Summary
• Typical high school love that transcends into work place love
• 10/10 excellent drama overall!

Nothing that you already haven't seen...

Another reborn revenge plot overloaded with wicked cliches ...the story revolves around FL, who is a successful actress killed by her fiance (the head of her talent management agency)...wow 🙀 so original .... Apparently this fiance is also having affair with the Vamp (FL's bestie),... both of them plan to kill the FL and inherit her money... after her death ....yeah!! And as if i didn't see it coming ... 😮😮😒😒, She reborn sometimes prior to the time of her engagement with this scrooge. Vowing to destroy this man she starts scheming meticulously and with each step she slowly brings him closer to his destruction.... I mean tell me something I don't know ... The ML who is the entertainment investor or head of a different talent management company helps her through her plans.... And yes you guessed it right ..~~~ Later they fall for each other.

First the plot is already overused ...there are tons of short dramas on exact same plot secondly the poor performance by the entire cast put that last nail in the coffin. I mean even with Daisy li as the lead this drama was just horrible. There is absolutely no excitement factor about the story and events are pretty much predictable. There is hardly any chemistry in the lead, thanks to the ML being such talentless hack.

Not recommending
