FirstOne / Tle good chemistry could not save trashy series...But props to them for committing!
This short BL series made of 81 episodes of 2 minutes, clearly low budget and badly edited, was overall quite entertaining thanks to the excellent chemistry of FirstOne and Tle. It was their BL acting debut and they for sure did not disappoint me, despite the low quality of the series itself. The scenario was really bonkers but also very entertaining as it features two "fake brothers" forbidden love with a touch of cohabitation and a lot of obsession for each other. Their relationship was very toxic and really trashy. Other than FirstOne and Tle having solid chemistry and doing quite a good at saying their lines despite the crazy script...unfortunately, nothing worked. The editing and subtitles, the acting of the remainder of the cast, the limited soundtrack with violin coming from nowhere : everything was really poor quality.
I would not recommend this to people unless you're a fan of Tle and/or FirstOne and if you don't mind trashy show with nonsensical and over-the-top scenario. It was definitely an entertaining mess with a mediocre story, poor subtitles and editing, in addition to a very limiting format.

MAJOR issues, though not horrible
1. Yes, do not kiss gay haters or anyone else without consent. If in the series the main lad does not apologise to the other one for this, then the series does not reach a good lesson as it confirms the myth that gays will take advantage of you.2. The show js saying that the bullies are like this not because they are bad people (which they are because no circumstances force you to be a bad person towards innocent people), but because they were raped by paedo gays.
3. The show is saying that a person has become gay himself after being raped in his childhood, which is another unscientific myth.
4. The raped lad has only ever shown interest in women, but all of sudden is converted to become at least a bi in college. This is also an absurd unscientific nonsense because people can only understand that they are bi or gay no later than puberty, not even remotely in college. Besides, this is the same myth some straight people tell to gays: that they simply did not yet find that special hot female that would make them straight.
5. The raped characters seems to only have two modes of operation: angry and soon to be angry. Not sure why lots of fans have shipped this pair and even got bitter when the main lad’s actor Mew has announced his real life partner.
6. Why did Tharn hide the issue with his ex and has event went to severely meet him? Why the police was not involved? Why is not criminal not in a life long imprisonment for his many severe crimes? This writing is really silly, the whole drama at the end is STUPID.
7. Basically, the main characters are not good people. Lhong is the cutest visually, though is the most evil. Techno and Tar’s brother are maybe the only two good characters.
8. Lots of characters are recast versus the previous series, Love By Chance. Some of their stories were changed.

The wrongs he was wronged
So like....I liked it BUT...THE WRONGS HE WAS WRONGED was really hard to get over. She made me so mad with how she treated him. Also 59 episodes was ALOT. Towards the end was a lot of unnecessary dragged out political stuff that I felt could have been shortened. Also I will be hearing SIFENG!! SIFENG!! SIFENG!! In my nightmares for awhile.

My favourite drama!
My most favourite drama of all time! Living out hidden identities waiting for them to each find out who they truly are, this dramas main characters sweep you in! If you’re looking for mysterious, captivating, warrior, battle it out no matter what and heartwarming love story that touches your core with between two leads - this is it.Lead Characters:
I’ve seen the FL in a few dramas before and it was really refreshing to see her in this mature and stronger warrior role. She nailed it! I loved every part of her role, from her attitude, character, costume and lines.
The chemistry between the two main leads is beautifully built up and unfolds wonderfully. Unlike other dramas where it’s so abrupt when did they start liking each other and suddenly the feud ends. Here the storyline and characters relationship blooms so naturally that’s what makes it special to keep watching. It’s so nice to see this healthy loving relationship projected where they stand by each other for who they are. It’s enjoyable because they are constantly against each other and weary of each other’s intentions at first. Both with hidden identities, you cannot but love them!
Battles:
The fight and battle scenes are super incredible and on a grand scale. Superbly directed, delivered and projected. I loved seeing the FL hold and lead them. She’s so spontaneous and direct whereas the ML is strategic and the planner. There’s great built up suspense around who the mastermind behind the wars and chaos and to the degree to what lengths each character will go to rule the world.
Heart touching moments:
There were so many heart touching moments that stood out throughout the drama especially between the main leads. Their acting was top notch! Great delivery. You could see it in their eyes, tears and expressions that make you love them even more. Both of their crying scenes are wow - you will be moved.
Great storytelling:
What I love the most is each character is easily defined and portrayed without having to go into heavy lengths of background scenes to explain why they are as they as. This shows a great director and it’s storytelling.
Not only are the main leads easy for the audience to connect with but we also gain depths to the supporting characters without taking away much screen time from the main leads.
Though I would’ve liked to see the FL identity be revealed better as there was so much build up.
I’ve watched this a number of times now and it only gets sweeter watching these two strong lead characters. Superb performance and drama I’m so glad to have it on Netflix.

제 제일 좋아하는
I love this drama. Sincerely with all my heart. I have watched it numerous times with the same pleasure. Mostly everything is perfectly done, acted…this drama is fun, the romance is one of the best you can find, the story has so much depth, the acting is solid. I watch it like 6 times on Netflix, on Prime…OST is very great too.A drama on several major platforms it’s already a sign that the drama is widely watch, greatly liked and majorly rewatched.
I love the fact that every character is well though off and has enough development to make him/her relatable. No character is the typical cliche, usual kdrama human-being. No annoying and retrograde parents. No awful villain plotting. No stupid woman that cannot do anything properly. No toxic second male or female that annoying you until the end. Just beautiful friendships, normal family dynamics, normal work relationship…
It’s Kim Hye-young best work by far without any doubt. We haven’t had the opportunity to see Kim Jae-wook in romances as the lead, so grab this one if you like him. There is only one story at the end that wasn’t necessary to me but other than that overall it’s really really good from A to Z.
Everybody that knows about the scandalous adoption system in Korea after the war gonna be deeply engaged with this story…
To me it’s the most genuine adult love story in kdrama. He is strong when she needs support and she becomes the strong one when he crumbled. That’s a real couple!
Just speaking about it make me want to watch it again…but this time fully in Korean without subtitles!!!
If you are looking for a kdrama to start your journey in kdramaland: that’s a fantastic pick!

Easy watch
This drama is correct. It’s an easy watch kdrama. Short, entertaining, cute romance. But no depth neither on data privacy, on relationships, on harassment…They stay at the surface of everything. So don’t get your expectations too high because nothing is greatly executed. The techno part is badly written it could have been done better. This is only saved by the actors who are convincing and talented but the script and the production are weakWas this review helpful to you?

Incredibly good acting
Secret Relationships is one of those BL dramas that catches you off guard and then refuses to let go. From the very first episode, it’s packed with tension, charm, and the kind of chemistry that makes every glance feel important. The storytelling feels fresh, and the pacing keeps the viewer completely hooked. One of the strongest aspects of the series is definitely the acting. Every character has a distinct personality, and the actors deliver them with so much sincerity that you can’t help but root for your favorites. I especially enjoyed watching the dynamic between Daon and the two love interests—it felt natural, funny, and emotional all at once.
However, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the ending. While it makes sense narratively that Daon chooses the softer, more gentle personality of Ju Seong Hyeon, I personally found myself wishing for Su Hyeon to be the final choice. Su Hyeon’s character had a depth and edge that stood out to me more, and I felt that his connection with Daon had a different kind of spark—something more complex and intriguing. That said, it really comes down to personal preference, and I completely understand why many viewers love the softness of Ju Seong Hyeon. He’s sweet, caring, and definitely the “safe” choice.
In the end, Secret Relationships keeps you invested, makes you feel things, and leaves lots to think about—even if the final decision isn’t the one you were rooting for. Whether you prefer the softness of Seong Hyeon or the intensity of Su Hyeon, the journey is absolutely worth watching.

### Review
**THE REAL JYC**
Giving people permission to take over your life is reckless and naïve. In reality, things wouldn’t spiral so badly if basic checks like DNA were done. Her trustfulness feels less like kindness and more like weakness, opening the door to betrayal.
**THE FAKE JYC**
A shameless woman who at first had reasons but quickly crossed the line by ignoring her conscience. Her persistence in living a lie makes her less sympathetic and more manipulative, showing how desperation can turn into selfishness.
**JYC BROTHER**
Blindly helping the fake JYC just because of feelings is unforgivable. Love clouded his judgment, and in the process he betrayed his own sister. His loyalty feels misplaced, and instead of protecting family, he became complicit in the deception.
**JSH THE FIANCÉ**
Caught in the middle of this chaos, his role highlights how fragile trust can be in relationships. As the fiancé, he should have been the anchor of stability, but instead he becomes another victim of lies. His inability to see through the deception raises questions about his own discernment—was it love, or simply blindness? Either way, his character shows how betrayal doesn’t just hurt one person, but ripples through everyone connected.
### Closing Thoughts
*A Graceful Liar* has an intriguing setup but falters in execution. The drama explores how lies and misplaced trust can destroy relationships, yet the storytelling often feels exaggerated and frustrating. Worth watching if you enjoy themes of betrayal and identity, but don’t expect tight plotting or satisfying resolutions.
Also the real villain's are the Father in Law n the real JYC mother.

Plot is not plotting
The name of the series is already annoying to begin with. Seriously. Some of the reviews up there must be paid. I got so annoyed and bored i skipped 7 episodes because i was curious to know the ending and it is also a disappointment. I thought the actress was the actress in princess Wei young. They do look alike a bit. I am not asian so i am bad with names. But as i started watching i realized they are not the same. Her voice was trying to act young adult which is still a bit understandable even though most people find changing voices to sound childish annoying. The actress gave her best. The male lead not so much. Honestly i am not a fan, his acting style is almost like that of Cheng Yi. You know acting all matured in voice and gait. But even cheng yi knows when to smile and when to continue whatever facial expressions thats always matured looking. This ML doesnt smile even during romantic scenes he makes the FL looks ridiculous when she smiles brightly and he is like almost frowning his face. And his neck always bent forward like something heavy is on his head. I dont know who is copying who between him and cheng yi But his acting is more annoying than the FL. His role doesnt need the constant matured /father look. After he fell in love it was the same, when romantic scenes comes up its the same, when he found her after 300 years its still the same. Come on. He is one of my least fav actors. Back then I watched blood of youth because of other actors if he was alone i would have dropped it halfway. He needs ro be flexible. Flexibility is what takes and actor from average to great. You need to immerse yourself in the role. If you always have the same facial expressions and gait in every drama then you will stay averageWas this review helpful to you?
a must watch feel good drama
i truly fell in the world of this drama, It is so homely and comforting. It's very lighthearted with really good pacing. The two leads are polar opposites who continuously grow and heal each other, along with others around them. I love the friendship dynamics so much, they healed each other and found a sense of comfort & home with each other.I initially found few characters insufferable but they grew on me. They all felt like real people with their own distinct personality, i felt like i was part of their world. The chemistry of the leads was quite literally everything, they made me feel so giddy (literally kicking my feet). Jing chen is to die for 😩 i would wife him up & take care of him for rest of my life.
The cinematography is beyond my words, it is so aesthetically pleasing. I kept wishing it was rainy day while i was binging this, i wanted to sip my tea and take it all in.
100% give it a chance, truly a hidden gem. I'm so glad to have found it since I'm not usually big fan of modern cdrama, I mostly watch traditional but wow. I will be rewatching this all the time now hehe.

A nature cooking show
This is a story about four city boys who where taken away from civilisation and forced to bond with nature and the sun that never setts...It is a story about Lee Je Hoon's love at a late age with cooking, and his development from egg-disaster to egg master, will he decide to become a chef?
About Kwak Dong Yeon the controlling master chef who has everything planned to a tee. Will he learn to let it go and help Lee Je Hoon spred his new found love for cooking wings?
We also have are laid back artist Lee Dong Hwi, who contributes with a light skepticism and slight grumpyness in a good way.
Last but not least wh have the star of the show our very handsome playful slightly noughty Cha Eun Woo who spends most of his time charming people, animals, and nature to do as he pleases. With rolled up arms he can cook, ,he rides horses, he can chop wood... He can even stand the heat in the sauna and is a true feast for the eye and soul.
The nature in Finland is stunning with the sun and mirror blank lakes... and the culture is very simular to the one where I live... the language is different but to be honest it could have been shot in Sweden and no one would know the difference...As it looks just like Sweden during the summer (unless it rains,) Yes this is me telling the boys to come to Sweden, we have better food... I am pretty sure most people in Lapland do have running water, toilets, and electricity but hey that would not really be a challenge for the boys.
The show does get a bit repetitive after a while and feels more like a cooking show than anything else, and they get a bit too obsessed with the nature = happiness part... I am kind of impressed how they manage to get some of our most beloved Kopiko PPL... I am pretty sure they have all said those lines before in dramas. And how they can miss korean food after half a day in Finland is pretty impressive...
But all in all it is a decent watch, if not for the rest. The horse-ride sceneis at least worth an extra star

Wishes That Fade Too Fast
I watched Genie, Make a Wish without high expectations, curious mostly about the fantastical premise and the lead performance. Overall, it’s a fun, lighthearted drama if you don’t overthink the plot holes or character inconsistencies. The series entertains, but it’s short-lived in impact — most of the story is quickly forgettable, and I have no plans to rewatch it.Character Writing & Development
The most interesting part of the series is the central concept: which exact wishes Ki Ga Yeong chooses and why. It gives her agency and creates some tension. That said, her character as a “psychopath” feels like an unnecessary trend in 2025 dramas — female villains without clear motivation, added more for shock value than for narrative depth. The side story of Lee Mi Ju, however, is genuinely warm and engaging. Her arc brings life to the series, and the actress Ahn Eun-Jin shines here, especially compared to some of the weaker performances around her. Other characters remain thinly sketched. Most exist to support the wishes plot or the romantic/fantasy elements, which limits emotional engagement.
Score: 6/10
Acting
Ahn Eun Jin is the standout of the series. Her warmth, timing, and expressiveness make the otherwise underdeveloped character compelling. The main leads carry much of the humor and charm, largely because of their established chemistry from prior projects. Funny moments work primarily due to their rapport rather than the script itself. Other performances are uneven, often feeling stiff or underwritten, which detracts from the overall cohesion of the cast.
Score: 6/10
Pacing & Structure
The series is fast-moving but uneven. Some episodes rush through significant plot developments, while others linger on minor comedic beats. The short runtime limits the exploration of the fantasy world, and the episodic structure doesn’t allow much breathing room for character growth or for the “wishes” theme to resonate fully.
Score: 5/10
Writing
The writing is serviceable but inconsistent. The “which wish will she choose?” hook is clever, yet the series doesn’t explore the consequences in any meaningful way. Character logic is sometimes jarring — particularly with Ki Ga Yeong’s morally ambiguous actions. Dialogue often leans on exposition or clichés rather than natural interaction.
Score: 4/10
Worldbuilding & Setting
The fantasy world is only lightly sketched. The rules of the wishes, the genie’s powers, and the broader magical universe feel more like window dressing than an immersive system. The modern settings and the whimsical touches suffice for mood, but the series doesn’t have time to make the world feel lived-in.
Score: 5/10
Cultural or Social Commentary
The series barely touches on anything beyond surface-level humor and wish-fulfillment. If there is commentary, it’s mostly implicit: desires, choices, and consequences, but nothing is explored with depth or tension.
Score: 3/10
Entertainment Value
The series works best as a casual, light viewing experience. It’s fun in moments, thanks to the main leads’ chemistry and the warmth of Lee Mi Ju’s storyline. However, the overall story is quickly forgotten, plot holes are glaring, and underdeveloped characters prevent the series from leaving a lasting impression. It’s enjoyable for a one-time watch, but nothing more.
Score: 6/10
Genie, Make a Wish is an entertaining, easy watch if you don’t expect depth or careful plotting. Its charm comes from lead performances and small comedic moments. But the psychopathic trend for female characters, thin supporting cast, underdeveloped worldbuilding, and uneven pacing make it a series that won’t linger in memory.
Overall score: 5/10

So funny and too good!
The first few minutes were confusing and I thought this is going to be a long complicated drama trying to figure out all the character names, but as I got watching it turned out to be seriously good! And incredibly funny - there were loads of moments where I couldn’t stop laughing! I didn’t expect it to be this good! The leads actors not only did their roles justice but I feel went up and beyond. They were perfect for the roles and made the drama enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
Great unique storyline and execution! It’s one of my top favourite Cdramas.

not for me.
kim tan looked like he would do what no other ml would do: leave his family and fortune so he could live a good life, when it feels he’s about to do it he would always backtrack and when he finally does it, it lasts only a couple episodes and he comes back with his father at the end. the father that got so much (valid) criticism doesn’t get punish yet it’s the wife —the actual wife who had to accept her husband’s mistress in her house— who gets the evil treatment. but i will say there were some interesting things going on with kim tan and his brother but sometimes i felt like they weren’t giving them the proper spot on the show.however this is my first time seeing kim woo bin and i have to say he is so much more charming than lee min ho. and as always kim ji won is a delight.

Could have been amazing but....
Oh where do I even start from?Khemjira should have been my favourite show this season because I adore anything supernatural/horror/bl but it left me with conflicting feelings.
Let's start from the positives:
The music was amazing. I literally cannot express how much I adore Mantra. I think this was the best part of the whole show.
The plot was interesting and a nice break from all the stereotypical BLs. I also liked the fact that they icluded so much Thai lore and culture. The multiple reincarnations were also interesting to me.
Some of the side characters were very interesting, especially the villain. Her back story was so heavy and interesting, explaining her motives perfectly. Additionally, I really loved the second couple,.
The acting of some of the actors was amazing. I especially liked the Villain, the female Khem and the Peem's brother from his previous life. The second couple actors were also very talented.
Now for the bad...
The main couple. There, I said it. The main couple was, i think, the worst part of this. I don't know what went wrong. The characters were so one dimensional, I couldn't really see them as real people. They almost seemed soulless. The acting? Not that good. There were some scenes that I was so frustrated by the lack of emotion it made me want to stop watching. Khem getting tortured? He was emotionless. Khem almost getting killed? Barely blinked. Khem believing that peem was going to die? Blank expression. I needed him to cry, scream, do something instead of just standing there looking pretty while a tear rolled down his face. Was the actor so inexperienced? Did he not want to look ugly or something? Real humans don't just have blank expressions when sad or scared. Same for Peem. He didn't even cry when he watched the person he loves getting tortured. They also never convinced me that they were in love. The only times that I actually saw some emotion were surprisingly the NC scenes. I don't know what happened but the acting there seemed so much better.
Well, thats it overall. I hope the actors improve because they are both stanning.
Overall, an enjoyable watch mainly because of the supernatural elements and the side characters.
