Lovely,I watched this just for the Mainleads.

I mean, come on. I absolutely loved them together in "Rose Beloved" and we get the same hot sizzlin passion and chemistry between them in this drama. I love how the all so Virgin Buddha prudish Male heroes (with the beads) just get head on seduced by the heroine with her just falling into their arms,LOL.

Hilarious when they stand zero chance of resisting them. In this story the heroine is the substitute bride and imagine Male lead`s surprise when he knows that the woman he so badly desires is the switched bride FOR HIM. Ah his absolute delight! On with the pursuit and the way he waited for her to accept his heart since she got so badly betrayed by her ex.

This show would have been brilliant if the suffering of the characters had least been well reasoned

I'm in ep 4. Background story, acting, sound track, 90's vide, all great. But the writing? so flawless. The main character is portrayed as naive but very clever. However, the rest of the team are supposed to be at least experienced to have achieved the success they've had so far. Why would they make a delivery after IMF crisis without first checking the buyer's financial status? why sign a contract without reading the TWO pages with the terms that are clearly unfavourable? why accept the confiscation without even checking if the clause is valid (looks to me like an abusive clause, therefore null and void; unlawful enrichment with the confiscation). Why not even consult a lawyer? by the way, the return deal would only be valid with the Typhoon company, why just assign the Italian contract to Pyo instead of trying to challenge the storage contract? That's just stupid, not heroic or moral! And by the way, if he's so clever, why didn't he think of storing the fabric in his greennhouse, a much better protected space FOR FREE than the run down storage facility with the shady deal? And btw2, really, they only thought of protecting the fabric in a room full of holes and run down when it's actually raining?? They couldn't have covered the fabric when they saw the holes? The writing just doesn't add up. No one can be clever and this stupid at the same time... it's not that the drama is boring and repetitive, it's just that it's too obvious. They just want us to watch the characters suffer under the guise of growth/life lesson slice of life. Sure, many other dramas with similar themes are the opposite. Gaps in the story that miraculously make the characters succeed, but I can more easily accept to be made a fool of and have positive-feelings entertainment, than be made a fool of just to see characters suffer for the sake of it...

Me and Thee is a beautifully crafted series that showcases the natural chemistry between Pond and Phuwin. Their performances feel sincere and emotionally rich, making every scene engaging and memorable. The storytelling is gentle yet captivating, with moments that stay in your heart long after watching. It’s a warm, comforting series that fans of heartfelt relationships and character-driven plots will definitely love.

A stranded prince....

Ahh I really liked this bl. It's a soft one but touches so many issues. You can see the characters growth. All for the better. Especially Lava and his struggles. Even Peng and his sister makes up, him never realizing how much she had to go through as well due to parents pressure.
I absolutely loved the island scenery. What I wouldn't give to live a life like that. The ending was so good for me, it came full circle.

Why?

This was not worth the watch. The story was nothing special and the excution very messy.
I really don't like the male lead, he lacks emotions and that pouty face anoys me.. I am not a big fan of the other 2 actors either...that in combination with the messy story is a big no! for me.
The kisses were ok....but not great and no chemistry.

The best thing of this were the visuals...

Not great, thanx to the male lead...

This story was quite ok. As we are used of this company a low budget, but that is not bad.
The bad thing was the choise of the male lead, he is so stiff and expressionless and i am really anoyed by his pouty face. I had the same problems with him in Bound contract.

Visuals were beautiful and the music was great.
The acting of the sister and boyfriend was good. The leads had good kisses and good chemistry.

Some Romances Are Truly Unbelievable!!

Adaptations are a risky business, because you never know if they would work or not!

This was my first time watching a show featuring Victoria Song. As soon the credits rolled by in the first episode, she was atop a bridge performing the sword dance. I have seen numerous women perform sword dances in various dramas and yet Chu Yu’s performance was unique. No wonder Wei Yun fell in love at first sight. The show strongly hinges on the premise of fighting for love; because our main couple go through hell before finding their happiness. It is literally a fight against the monarchy and age-old societal prejudices. The main highlight of this show that it features three other love stories alongside the main leads and each of them are as unique as the mains. The drama adheres to its base concept until the last episode and delivers a romance that is swoon worthy!

This was so weird!!!

This was one of the weirdest series i have seen... The story was ok, but the excution was weird. The moments he was eating the food and his expressions just gave me the creeps most of the time..
The visuals of the food were stunning, the overal visuals of the rest of the drama were ok.
I didn't really notice any music.

The acting was ok, but i didn't like the creepy expressions when he was eating.

Recommendation? A big no!

Drive baby drive

I tend to like shorter verticals, as some can meander a lot and become yap fests. This 1 hour and a half one is on the opposite end : it ran at breakneck pace. While it could have slow down a bit after we reach the end of the "how did we get there" phase, I really appreciate the effort to respect the viewer's time and trust our ability to understand even if they don't show/tell us everything. One of my favorite Kdramas is Lee Jun Ki's Time Between Dog and Wolves, and this one reminded me a lot of it : both starts with a very intense flash-forward, star a vengeful hero who becomes his enemy's dog/right-hand man to serve his plans, and both have him fall in love with his enemy's precious girl (in the Kdrama she's his daughter, in Dark Light she's his fiance), messing with his plans. Both are pure crack. I like that this one choose to focus on the FL, as the FL in this type of scenario can become a bit of a sidelined trophy or be too out of her depth (like in Undercover Affair). Here she looked like the pampered princess she was supposed to be (I think those plots need that to enhance the forbidden/impossible aspect of the romance) but she was allowed to take the lead and have her own plans. It made the romance more intense (also her dilemma is a bit more complex than the hero's, who is planning to steal everything from his enemy including her anyway). It does feel like the final part of her arc is missing, as it happens offscreen, maybe the drama had production troubles and had to rush the ending (it does feel very abrupt). We didn't need to see the opening scenes again without cuts, and wasn't the scene where she runs in her wedding dress supposed to go somewhere ?

This was visually on the higher end of vertical productions, some scenes were striking and had excellent framing, like the staircase scene, and it's obvious that the director is a cinema buff (look out for the 3-Iron ref in the beginning). Acting wise the drama had an excellent villain played without the usual ham by a devilish Zeng Xi Tang, Wu Chun Yi's classy looks combined with her youthful and soft vibe were perfect for the role, and I have to talk about Wang Yi Lei : this was my first drama with him and he's going straight to my list of actors to keep an eye on, he's the whole deal : he has very distinctive, deadly attractive features (he looks like a cat) and is very talented, he's not here as Wang Yi Lei he's the character. Overall, very solid stuff, if you like undercovers romances (or the trope where FL falls in love with a shady, handsome and devoted driver like in Drive/Baby Driver) you might want to add this one to your list.

Thank you guys..

They came back strong and offered us shocking moments with Japanese air..🚕 The only series that I can watch knowing in advance that it would not disappoint me..The season 3 will be the best because the topic that the incredible team has focused on is very sensitive, and exists in many countries with the protection of the authorities unfortunately...I love their chemistry, their energy, their positive aura and of course their amazing performances that take your breath away...💜
Lee Je Hoon , Pyo Ye Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yoo Ram...You are number one.👌👌

❤️ 1. A light drama that fills your heart

The story isn’t trying to be complicated. It focuses on emotions, honesty, and those small moments that make you smile without realizing it. No heavy plot, just easy and comforting.

💫 2. The couple’s chemistry feels natural

Every scene between them feels like watching a real couple. Not exaggerated, not cringe. Just soft, sweet, and full of butterflies.

🥺 3. Mature relationship lessons

The drama shows that love isn’t only about big gestures. It’s about:
• communication
• being honest
• consistent small efforts
• understanding each other’s emotional wounds

It could have been even better.

I really liked this series. I watched it and then realized there were movies, so i went to watch them and then watched this series again.

This was a good series, the only thing is, when you haven't watched the movies, the side stories and several characters aren't developed enough in this series. They should have made more episodes and payed a bit more attention to all the characters and their stories.

The music and visuals were beautiful.
The acting was great, the chemistry between Gii and Takumi was good. I'm sad that there were no real kisses, just a few "dead kisses".

Like my ex, disappointing.

I really really wanted to love this completely, but it left me unsatisfied. The first episodes started out strong but the quality just petered out. The leads have excellent chemistry & is one of the reasons to watch this. But their relationship progression felt too fast.
Most everyone is shitty in this, especially the father. He deserved to die twice. The brother is annoying & sister is evil. MC starts out like them as well, but changes later. The performances of most actors are just average.

Story was promising, but the script was underdeveloped and most times illogical. Should've made it more slick & cohesive. The action sequences with Daou was some of the highlights. Product placement makes it look cheap as always. It also falters in the technical side. The 7/10 is only for the main leads. It's a one time watch, nothing spectacular.

A Captivating Parallel World Romance

Another great officer romance from Japan, but this one hits on a completely different level. The darker cinematography instantly sets it apart from the usual light Japanese BLs, giving the story a moodier, more mature tone that I absolutely loved. I am obsessed with height-difference dynamics and Ogami and Kano being noticeably taller than average had me hooked from the very beginning.

The story is intriguing, emotional, and layered in a way that pulls you in effortlessly. Both actors deliver incredible performances, capturing that mix of vulnerability, admiration, and unresolved tension perfectly. Their chemistry simmers quietly beneath every interaction, and I cannot wait to see how their feelings slowly transform into something deeper and undeniable. I am fully hooked already and what a fantastic series.

Love Hate

I really had a hard time watching this drama - the story was good but so many parts were so ridiculous. Truly had a love hate relationship and a lot of eye rolls. It’s just constant schemes and lies that it was so annoying. Had potential but it was overboard and ML had one expression the whole time.
