The Sincerity of the main leads are captivating
This story line is a classical story, but the performance of the two main leads (Kim Woo Joo and Yoo Mae Ry) were out of the box. The chemistry, the love language, the connection that bring them back to the their first meet long, long ago and the destiny that Made them reunited Will make you have that stupid smile.And, For the second leads, the love story were sooo fresh!!
Watch it! And you'll find crave for more!

Great Story, unbelievable ending
This was wayyy better than I expected. I thought it was carry on with the slight silliness, dramatic animations, and slice-of-life mixed with a hint of Supernatural elements vibe — but the intense scenes towards the end made me cry.The cast's acting was also top notch!!
My only regret about this is that the ending could have been explained better — perhaps the king had been reborn, or maybe we could see Magunrok bring him back too...
"How did he get back? that's a secret"... really, now 🥲

Hear me out
Imagine This Happened in Crash Landing on You.Think of how much people LOVE Crash Landing on You. The emotional tension. The forbidden romance. The longing between Yoon Seri and Captain Ri Jeonghyuk. It’s the whole heart of the show.
Now picture this nightmare version:
Episode 1:
Yoon Seri crash lands in North Korea, meets Captain Ri… and just when sparks start to fly…
The camera CUTS AWAY to:
👉 A random soldier in Captain Ri’s squad
Let’s call him Private Oh.
For the next 30 minutes, the show follows Private Oh’s dramatic relationship with his girlfriend back in Pyongyang:
* their family problems
* her career stress
* their fights
* their makeup scenes
* flashbacks to their childhood
* his sob story about failing the military exam
Meanwhile…
Seri and Captain Ri get 6 minutes total of screen time.
Episode 4:
You tune in, ready for romance.
Instead, you spend half the episode following:
* Private Oh’s girlfriend crying
* A flashback to her ex
* A subplot about her trying to open a bakery
* Private Oh stressing about a tennis match (why tennis? no one knows)
Captain Ri and Seri? Maybe one short scene where they exchange awkward glances.
⭐ Episode 7:
The synopsis promised:
“A South Korean heiress and a North Korean soldier fall in forbidden love.”
But the actual show delivers:
“Private Oh and His Bakery Ambition Girlfriend: A Love Story (ft. Seri and Captain Ri occasionally existing).”
Seri’s emotional breakdown? Cut short. Captain Ri risking his life for her? Off screen. Their chemistry? Replaced by Private Oh’s extended sob story.
Episode 10:
You’ve been waiting for the confession scene.
Instead, you get:
* Private Oh’s girlfriend’s 15 minute backstory monologue
* Followed by their tearful reunion
* Followed by their slow-motion kiss
* Followed by a long montage of them riding bikes
Meanwhile, Seri and Captain Ri get one 30 second scene talking about potatoes.
Now Imagine People Saying:
“Ugh stop complaining! I LOVE Private Oh and his girlfriend even though it’s an unpopular opinion!”
It isn’t about hating the side couple. It’s about the main character being erased. It’s about the writers abandoning their own premise. It’s about viewers being robbed of the story they were promised.
If Crash Landing on You had done this, it wouldn’t be a beloved classic, it would be remembered as a narrative disaster.

A new perspective on Chan Yeong’s Tennis Cinematic Universe.
“Y’all are so dramatic. Why is everyone complaining? I love the hetero couple even though it’s an unpopular opinion. I actually loved and enjoyed this drama. Ignore the haters and bl fanatics.”(Translation-Don’t listen to all the criticism given by “bl fans”. Let’s ignore queer representation, who cares about that. Let’s focus on hetero couple like we have always.)
This is my love letter to people who said the above things.
So brave of you to stan the default straight couple in a drama where no one asked for them. And their story? revolutionary. Truly never been done before. This isn’t about disliking a couple. It’s about a storytelling failure. The hetero couple is not the enemy. The problem is that they were never the main characters. Here is an unpopular opinion. Queer baiting and straightwashing is wrong.
Criticism is not hating.
People really need to hear this: Criticizing a drama’s writing is not the same as hating a couple, hating the actors, or hating the show. Criticism means you care enough to point out what’s wrong. And what’s wrong here isn’t a matter of “taste.” It’s not “people just don’t like the side couple.” It’s not “you’re overreacting.”
Viewers aren’t angry because people like the couple. They’re angry because: their storyline overshadows Heesu completely, the emotional core of the show is ignored, and we lose the unique perspective we were promised.
If you go to a restaurant and order ramen, and they bring you pasta with a tiny spoonful of ramen on the side, you’re not “complaining.” You’re asking for the dish you paid for.
This drama had the potential to explore: unrequited love, fear of confession, queer longing, friendship vs. romantic tension, the pain of loving someone for a decade in silence. Instead of diving into that, the show sidelines him for a straight romance we’ve seen a thousand times.
This isn’t representation. It’s a bait-and-switch.
It’s okay to enjoy the hetero couple, but also important to acknowledge the storytelling flaws. The issue is pretending that others are “complaining” just because they expected the actual main character to matter. This drama didn’t fail because of the side couple. It failed because the writers abandoned their own protagonist and when i say “fail” Im not talking about viewership. It failed as an adaptation and it failed to do any justice to the actual story. The show betrays its own synopsis.
Do you want everyone to just sit quietly and enjoy queer erasure?
Do you want viewers to pretend the protagonist doesn’t matter? To act like it’s fine for a queer-coded main character to be shoved aside in his own story, while a straight couple absorbs 70% of the screen time? Because that’s what you’re asking when you say: “Stop complaining.”, ”I love the straight couple!”,, “Others are just being dramatic.”
That is not “preference.” That is not “unpopular opinion.” That is erasure: narrative, emotional, and representational.
Perspective for those who “love the hetero couple”
Liking them isn’t wrong.
But loving them shouldn’t blind us to the fact that:
* the main character’s story was never allowed to grow
* his emotional world was overshadowed by arcs that weren’t even advertised
* the drama disguised itself as one thing and delivered another
* representation was teased but not honoured
It’s misdirection, imbalance, and lost potential. Viewers aren’t “complaining.”
They’re mourning the story that could have been, the story that was supposed to belong to Heesu.
What if you were the side character in your own story ? Now this is being done just because you are queer. If you were straight this wouldn’t have happened.
What If This Happened in Straight Dramas?
Imagine this
A straight drama is advertised as a story about a boy and girl who’ve grown up together, childhood friends on the brink of something more. The synopsis tells us:
* He’s secretly loved her for years
* She’s his world
* Their friendship is fragile and precious
* And the drama will explore that emotional tension
So you press play, expecting their story.
Now picture what actually happens:
🎬 Episode 1 to 10…
Instead of seeing the childhood-friends-to-lovers arc we were promised, the show suddenly spends:
* 30 minutes of every episode following a random side couple
* Their family trauma
* Their love life
* Their arguments
* Their reconciliation
* Their career struggles
Meanwhile, the main girl, the reason you started watching gets:
* 3 scenes per episode
* no emotional development
* no progress
* no payoff
* no real story
You waited to see the tension between the main couple, right? The longing? The slow-burn? The emotional explosion we were promised in the synopsis?
But the camera keeps running back to the side couple like they paid for the show.
Would viewers stay quiet? Would they say, “Stop complaining! Let the side couple shine!”? Of course not…..
Why? Because narrative betrayal feels the same, no matter the genre.
The issue isn’t about sexuality. It’s about storytelling integrity.
People would riot if:
* The Heirs sidelined Kim Tan and Eun Sang to tell a teacher’s love story.
* A Business Proposal replaced the main couple with the second lead’s cousin and their personal trauma.
* Kimi ni Todoke spent 8 episodes on the girl sitting behind Sawako.
Everyone would ask the same thing viewers of Heesu in Class 2 are asking now:
Why are the main characters being treated like background furniture? Why is the advertised story being ignored? Why are we watching someone else’s drama?
Criticism is how we demand better.
Better storytelling. Better focus. Better respect for the protagonist. Better representation.
Criticism is how we say: “This character matters. His story matters. We want the show we were promised.”
It’s not hate. It’s accountability.
And if people feel more offended by criticism than by the actual erasure happening on-screen, then maybe they need to sit with why that makes them so uncomfortable.
Why adapt a compelling queer coming-of-age story when you can force-feed the audience a straight romance and sports melodrama no one asked for?
If you wanna ignore all this and praise the revolutionary drama that truly has never been done before, go ahead.

unfortunately it wasn't for me...
I really struggled with this drama, and I honestly don’t understand the hype. I stopped around ep 7-8, because I couldn’t convince myself to keep going. The main reason was the complete lack of chemistry between the leads! I felt absolutely nothing. Their acting didn’t feel believable, their interactions were flat, and there was no emotional pull that made me care about their relationship. Maybe it’s because I recently watched Love in the Clouds, where the chemistry between the leads was on a completely different level. Compared to that, this felt cold and disconnected.Usually, even when I drop a drama, I still want to know how it ends. But here, I had zero interest. I didn’t care what happened to the characters, and I never felt they belonged together. Overall, it just wasn’t for me.

PONDPHUWIN'S ACTING IMPROVED SO FREAKING MUCH AND THEY ATE PEACH AND THEE'S CHARACTER.
10/10 - Can't say much about music and background sounds, i like those little funny background sounds hehe and girl listen to the Me and You i love it so much .

Stick with it
Great ensemble cast that was well developed. Wonderfully complex story arcs. I loved the ML actor and watch every role of his - but he did not come into his own until episode 30. In fact, the story did not become compelling until episode 30....the very long build-up, the laying out of all the details took far too long, and the romantic on-again/off-again nonsense consumed far too much time. But the last 10 episodes are explosive, clever, and very satisfying. Had the first 29 episodes been more tightly compacted, the pacing quicker, some of the extraneous lingering looks and seeming misunderstandings not so unwieldy and time consuming, I would've given this a higher rating. But it is a worthwhile watch for the last 10 episodes alone. Stick with it.Was this review helpful to you?
A Brilliant and Intense Masterpiece
Insider exceeded all of my expectations from start to finish. The story is gripping, smart, and full of twists that kept me completely hooked. The cast delivered outstanding performances, and each character felt believable and perfectly portrayed. The music added even more intensity to every scene, making the experience even more immersive.What I love most is how rewatchable the series is. Even after finishing it, there are so many details and moments worth revisiting. Overall, Insider is a brilliantly crafted drama that stands out in every aspect — story, acting, production, and emotional impact. Definitely a 10/10 and highly recommended.Was this review helpful to you?
A Beautiful Mix of Ancient Mystery, Romance, and Culture ( Updated review )
Watching Love on the Turquoise Land was like stepping into a world full of beautiful landscapes, secrets, and slow-building emotions. From the very beginning, the show drew me in with its amazing visuals and the strong chemistry between the leads. Over the course of 32 episodes, it kept delivering a mix of romance, mystery, and cultural richness that felt fresh and real.The chemistry between the leads creates a dynamic that’s fun to watch as their initial suspicion transforms into grudging trust and burgeoning partnership. Fans of Dilraba Dilmurat will find her appearance and performance especially memorable in this role, where she exudes strength and vulnerability in equal measure.
★What the Story is About :-
- The drama follows Nie Jiu Luo, a strong and independent woman from a local tribe, and Yan Tuo, a calm investigator from the city. He comes to the turquoise land to look into some suspicious activities around the local mines. At first, they don’t trust each other, but as they work together, their relationship slowly changes into something deeper—with plenty of tension and moments that keep you rooting for them.
- As the story goes on, it dives into political power struggles, family secrets, and the challenges of holding onto tradition while facing modern problems. Other characters bring extra layers to the story, and the drama does a good job of mixing serious moments with lighter ones.
- In the last episodes, the tension builds with exciting twists and reveals about Nie Jiu Luo’s past and the mysterious power of the land itself. The ending ties up most storylines but still leaves you thinking about the themes of identity and trust.
★What I Loved the Most :-
1. The Chemistry Was Amazing - Nie Jiu Luo and Yan Tuo had such a fiery, intense vibe. They started off fighting and being suspicious of each other, which made their slow path to falling for one another super rewarding. Every time they had a quiet moment, or when YT helped NJL, it felt like a big deal, not just a typical drama romance.
2. Nie Jiu Luo: 'The Independent, Badass Lead' - NJL, the "Mad Blade," was a fantastic female lead. She wasn't waiting around for a man to save her. She was portrayed as a capable, independent force who was often the one doing the rescuing . Her action scenes were powerful and cool, and she could handle her own business. To see her being the strong and capable was a refreshing change from the typical female leads who require constant saving .
3. The Vibe was so Unique - The show did a great job mixing the normal, modern world with the spooky, supernatural stuff. It looked really cool and had a moody, sophisticated feel. The design of the Earth Fiends (especially the chillingly composed Lin Xi Rou and the intimidating Xiong Hei) and the idea of ancient secrets hiding in a modern city gave the drama a very distinct and captivating style.
4. Intriguing Mystery and Lore - The overarching mystery rooted in the ancient Qin Dynasty and the search for the Earth Fiend origins was genuinely intriguing. The show kept dropping cool hints about the ancient hunters and the secret group, making you want to watch the next episode just to figure out the whole puzzle.
★What Could Have Been Better :-
1. Pacing Was Up and Down - The start of the drama was kind of slow, it took a while to explain all the Tangled Army and Earth Fiend background stuff, which made those first few episodes a bit of a drag. But then, the ending felt too fast, wrapping up the main bad guy (Lin Xi Rou) and the big final mysteries way too quickly.
2. Yan Tuo Was Confusing Sometimes - He was supposed to be this complex, maybe even a little shady, guy at the start. But then he quickly became a very standard hero. The drama didn't really deal with his early mean behavior toward Nie Jiu Luo or his sketchy ties to Lin Xi Rou's family, so his sudden shift to being a good guy felt a little too easy.
3. Did We Really Need the Amnesia? - Using the amnesia plot device for Nie Jiu Luo felt unnecessary. It just stopped the main story and the romance right in their tracks for a while. It seemed more like a quick way to slow down the plot than a natural part of the supernatural danger.
4. The Supernatural Rules Weren't Always Clear - Even though the world looked amazing, the show didn't always clearly explain the rules for the Earth Fiends or the Qingrang power. A few clearer explanations of how their magic worked or how the human and fiend powers were different in fights would have made the action and thriller parts even better.
★Fav Scenes :-
1. Hair flowing scene - ep 1
2. The ML and FL fighting in episode 4 — I honestly couldn’t tell if they were fighting or flirting because their banter was so playful and full of sparks, hehe.
3. ML Afraid of waking her up by opening the car door and decided to wait and eat outside so that she could sleep a bit more - ep 9 ( small action matters a lot ♡ )
4. ML doing push ups with FL on his back - ep 26
5. That quiet scene where Yan Tuo hands Nie Jiu Luo a small gift — simple but so meaningful, showing how much they’ve grown close.
★Dialogue Highlights : My Fav Quotes
I loved how sharp the dialogue was, especially when Nie Jiu Luo and Yan Tuo were clashing or getting intense. My favorite lines really captured the whole "us against the world" vibe of the show.
1. A top quote for me has to be Yan Tuo's almost dangerous-sounding challenge to Nie Jiu Luo: "If you really can't get along with the beast, then working with me is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." It sums up their risky partnership perfectly!
2. I also loved when one of the characters (often Nie Jiu Luo, the "Mad Blade") would say something tough and defining about the danger they face, like : "Only a knife can kill the beast completely," or the simple, chilling phrase : "Humans are humans, beasts are beasts. We are divided, but we are united" . That last one perfectly captures the weird line they walk between the human and Earth Fiend worlds.
3. Another great one was Yan Tuo's sarcastic comeback to the villain Lin Xi Rou where he said something like, "Since you look down so much on humans, why insist on wanting to become human?"—a line that really hit the villain where it hurt and showed his sharp mind.
★Final Thoughts :-
Overall, Love on the Turquoise Land is a drama I really enjoyed and would recommend. It’s got great actors, a unique setting, and a story that keeps you curious and emotionally invested. It might not be perfect, but it’s definitely worth watching if you like slow-burn romance mixed with thriller and culture.
If you’re debating whether to start, the first four episodes deliver enough intrigue, slow-burn romance, and stunning visuals for you to decide whether its your cup of tea or not. So the decision is yours but one thing i want to say is ...If you’re into dramas with strong leads and a story that’s both beautiful and thought-provoking, give this one a try!!!
Thank you for taking the time to read my review! Hope it helps you decide if Love on the Turquoise Land is your next drama to watch . You can drop your thoughts here—I would love to read and discuss them with you ♡♡♡ .

Romance in winter: The artistic love and life of the youth
This is a piece of art. The combination of artistry and BL romance was so appealing. I love the drawings as much as I love the story. On top of that, the main couple is so handsome and really brings the youthful vibes around them. The chemistry had an impact, too.It can be dramatic and eventually lead to a mellow approach. Both of them have a distinctive and dejected reality that they are slowly trying to overcome throughout the story. With this factor, they share the romantic love that they badly needed for someone to overcome their sorrowful experiences in life. They became each other’s light and comfort.
The tension and how they built the characters’ conflict were good. Aside from the MC, consider Turtle, who started as a brat but eventually developed into a good supporting role in the show. One of the main highlights for me is how they feature an artist with a visual difficulty in identifying colors, yet still striving to create pieces of art, now and then.
It was somehow a sad ending, with the Dad sending his son to Russia, and the other guy not finishing the admission exam due to the injury from the gang leader. After the scene where both of them walk through their own paths, the scene where they got together after a year was just an alternate ending.
Nevertheless, I enjoy watching this show and adore how both Qi Lu and Qin Xiao embodied the life quote of “Do what we love! And love who we want to love!” Beautiful love story.

"A Hopeless romantic finds her true love"
Translated into English:"𝐇𝐞𝐫 (𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠): 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐢𝐫, 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.
𝐇𝐢𝐦 (𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟): 𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐫. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”
This single moment captures the soul of Tawanchai Nai Marn Mek — emotional, romantic, and heartfelt in the simplest way. The story revolves around Tawan, a hopeless romantic who dreams of writing a beautiful love novel and unexpectedly finds her own love on the way. What begins as a journey to reunite with her first love, Thee, leads her into the home of his brother, Mek, where she cross-dresses as a boy and builds unexpected bonds with Mek and Thee's little son. Instead of trying to summarize the whole plot, I want to focus on the things that truly touched me.
One of the strongest points of this drama is its characters. They are thoughtfully written, with strong personalities and realistic decisions, especially the second leads. I loved that Yut, despite knowing Ava likes him, never lets himself get swayed or confused — he stays firm and respects her as a sister. Meanwhile, Ava eventually realizes the feelings of Kheng, the friend who has loved her quietly from afar and supported her through everything. Their pairing grows naturally and feels mature, refreshing, and emotionally satisfying. Seeing both second leads stay true to their hearts rather than falling into forced drama was one of the highlights for me.
What I initially disliked was Mek breaking up with Tawan after she revealed her past feelings for Thee and the real reason she came to the house. She was honest, and at first it felt unfair for him to walk away over something long gone. But even then, I already sensed the real reason behind his reaction — and the drama later confirmed it through Mek himself. Thee’s wife, Fah, was once his own girlfriend who cheated on him with his brother, who married her without knowing the truth. That past trauma made Mek insecure and terrified of history repeating itself. When the misunderstanding was cleared, his feelings made sense, and I appreciated that the drama handled both sides realistically.
The comedy in this drama is genuinely enjoyable. Tawan’s disguise leads to so many funny moments with Mek and King, but the warmth never fades. The dynamic of Mek stepping up as the father figure — loving the child silently, without revealing the truth until the right time — was touching and beautifully portrayed. The young child actor was phenomenal, bringing sweetness, innocence, and humor to every scene. Watching the three of them together felt like watching a small family being born before our eyes, and it was comforting in a very gentle way.
I also appreciated the lack of unnecessary toxicity. Even Fah, the ex, lives her own life without being a typical drama villain. Tawan’s parents support her dreams and her love life wholeheartedly, which was refreshing to watch. And in the end, Yut, Ava, Kheng, and Fah all come together to help the main couple reunite — which felt warm, genuine, and family-like.
The soundtrack deserves a special mention. The voices, the music, and the lyrics were beautiful and perfectly matched the emotional tone of the drama. There are no overly intimate or steamy scenes here, but the love still feels authentic and deep. This drama carries a family-like scent — full of warmth, humor, softness, and the quiet sincerity of growing love.
Overall, the ending was sweet, fulfilling, and left me smiling. Tawanchai Nai Marn Mek (2012) is a light yet meaningful drama that shows love not only between a couple, but between a family built through trust, healing, and understanding. If you enjoy heartwarming romances with humor, emotional depth, and zero toxicity, this drama is worth every minute.

Unexpected humour and gets better with each episode (Perfect Rom-Com)
[Ep 1 to Ep 8 Review]It is not a typical Rom-Com kdrama. As this drama is on OTT platforms and M21, the director can portray sensitive topics in a more raw form, making it refreshing. As an Asian, I appreciate the dare to explore topics that can be taboo in my culture. They manage to talk about it in a non-serious manner, not belittling the topics, and bringing light to it in a delicate manner that would be acceptable in the Asian culture.
The story gets really interesting and funny from episode 4 onwards (It got more interesting, especially when there was more screen time given the the ML with the FL). I rewatched several parts, even the flying **** part, which some say is a cheap thrill (at least the person earlier who gave the review), but I think my humor is different, as I kept laughing so loudly, making me regret eating while watching the drama.
It is also refreshing for K-dramas to explore how looks can be superficial and not lasting, and portrayed through a pretty ML. It was nice to see how naive instead of arrogant, which most would expect from a good-looking looking popular ML. The FL is strong and intelligent, and she will be part of his character growth -- instead of the typical male saves the girl type of show. Although FL is a smart nerd, I am glad they also showed her to be like anyone else who has sexual desires. This is just so real!
The FL and ML acted so well! They were funny and yet made the characters believable. The characters of the FL and ML are flawed but have good hearts. It is nice to see characters that aren't perfect yet likable.
To me, it is one of the best Rom-com dramas (so far ... as I have watched up to ep 8). I love how the FL is so strong and how silly the ML is. I am not sure why the earlier reviewer says it is Westernised. Who makes us a judge of styles to say it is Westernised or 'Asianised'? It felt very youthful and fresh. Finally, a drama that breaks out of the box and yet funny at the same time -- a very risky script. It feels like a new Gen type of storytelling, and not because it is Westernised.
This is a drama I can rewatch when I need a good laugh. Life is already so tough ... it will be nice to just be a little less serious.
[After Completing ALL Episodes]
Wow! So many unexpected stories that break the conventions, yet are realistic. There were moments I did not expect to laugh. The acting was good. I couldn't give it a full 10 for rewatch value, as there were some parts I did not find interesting. I would rewatch but fast forward to the parts I like. The LAST FOUR episodes were really GOOD -- no parts did I want to fast forward. I am usually an impatient viewer, so I normally fast-forward almost any drama, no matter how good. However, the last 4 episodes were perfect. This is really a very good feel-good drama that is interesting and funny. My guilty pleasure is to see the many kissing scenes -- from serious to sweet ones. Also, the character growth for most of the characters was satisfying.

to the catcher that never caught...
it is i, the niel.high school musical if there was no singing and no one could communicate. at the start, i was rooting for jiwon. by the end, i was over it. we got nothing about the background or development of these characters, only brief mentions or cuts to scenes that we never saw. how are you going to allude to events happening and then never explain them? thanks. it made it incredibly difficult to understand why jiwon was acting the way he was, which consistently made me feel irritated with him.
the final episode was nonsense, and the two previous episodes felt rushed and underdeveloped. don't dedicate a third of the final episodes to physical romance scenes when you could've been using that time for character development. there was barely any conflict throughout the entire show, and when it got brought up, it was either resolved immediately, or we got jiwon pouting for way too long. what was the deal with the side characters? it felt like the creators wanted a second season, but viewers should not have to rely on a second season to get development that should've happened sooner.
there were elements of the show that were silly, goofy, and overall pleasant to get through. it's a quick, easy watch. the underdeveloped characters and abrupt, almost non-ending ruined the vibes. whatever, i should've read the novel. we're all in this together!
best,
the niel.
