The martial arts scene is really cool but there's really something off with the story line and its really the reason why the episode gets .

Me and Thee
Simply the best feel good rom com series. I've been waiting since the pilot dropped and now it's here. It was all worth the wait coz wdym it's sooooo good, the quality, the characters, the music, the cinematography and the music. And let's not forget the actors, they did a very very great job portraying each of the characters. In love with the series. I am gonna rewatched every epi that dropped qaiting for Saturdays 💞🤭💝Was this review helpful to you?
good drama
I was obsessed with it up until episode eight — I honestly thought it might end up being the best Japanese drama I’ve ever watched. But the last two episodes felt weirdly rushed. Until episode eight, it was this psychological, romantic, slightly thriller-ish story that played a lot with the butterfly effect, but then the ending suddenly stopped making sense. Everyone started blaming the main character for their own problems, and that really bothered me. I wanted them to realize they were responsible for their own mess. The ending could’ve been way more dramatic and interesting.I liked the female lead a lot… as long as she wasn’t crying. Her crying scenes didn’t really work for me. Takeru Satoh, though, was amazing as always.

Khemjira
The series portrays traditionalism, religion, and beliefs in a way that keeps you entertained by the characters and makes you wonder what will happen in the next episode. The episodes are numerous and lengthy, which is why I deducted some points because it became a bit tiring towards the end; it could have been a little shorter. However, it's an impeccable piece of work, with good actors who managed to convey their characters effectively. However, it's necessary to point out that the ending seems a bit anticlimactic, as there were many good scenes only for something that seemed very simple to happen at the end. I would like to praise the performance of Rampueng's actress , who was a very important part of this story and managed to raise the level of acting in this series. I would probably think twice before rewatching it because it's very long, but it's interesting how they managed to incorporate elements of Thai culture and finally for Domundi to get something right. Sweet, wholesome goodness
I love this series and each of the characters. They are the gorgeous, popular crowd but are still grounded, thoughtful and kind. The main love interest is dedicated but not domineering or toxic. It leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy with each episode. It may not be a new story, but it’s well done and fun to watch. My only complaint is that the episodes are way too short (about 20 min, and I could easily watch an hour of this.) It will be a good rewatch for those days when you just need something sweet. Was this review helpful to you?

Fantastic romcom chemistry
I have repeatedly said in my reviews that I take the MDL ratings with a huge pinch of salt because this platform is distinctively skewed towards younger viewers who love idol romance-melo dramas. Here I'm proved right again.============Spoiler starts================
This drama has SO many tropes that I've lost count. Super handsome chaebol/rich male lead falls in love with very poor girl who isn't that pretty, except after he pays a lot of money to dress her up. Somehow he loses contact with her after a fascinating love-at-first-sight encounter and somehow she ends up in - no surprises - his company and works as his employee. They are continually thwarted by a rich girl he's force by his family to marry and his rich family. What happens next is no one's guess.
===========Spoiler ends=================
Such tropes are at least 25 years old, aka so last century. YET despite that, I am STILL watching this drama. Because the leads are great and their chemistry is SIZZLING. I have been following Ahn Eun Jin in all her dramas and even Jang Ki Yong. Despite his model background and stiff start to his acting career, he's improving by leaps and bounds with each drama. He still has a long way to go compared to Ahn Eun Jin but he is making good process. Of course, his pretty face certainly helps.
If this is even remotely like the very cheesy yet super fun Business Proposal that celebrated and really hemmed up such tropes, I am in for a treat! I am certainly looking forward to the rest of the season!

Wasted Potential for Stellar Rom-com Lineups
I went into Would You Marry Me with genuinely high expectations, especially because the pairing of Jung Somin and Choi Wooshik felt like a dream combination. I’ve always enjoyed Jung Somin’s romcom performances, so I was excited to see how their chemistry would carry a classic coming-of-age romantic comedy. And to be fair—the chemistry is there. The main couple has a natural charm, and the second couple is equally delightful (honestly, I ended up loving the second leads even more). The cast overall did a solid job, and nothing about the acting felt out of place.
But beyond that… the drama ended up being just okay for me.
The biggest issue lies in the writing. The romance for both couples feels underdeveloped; Wooju and Meri’s relationship is sometimes pushed too quickly, creating awkward moments instead of emotional depth. At the same time, Sanghyeon and Jingyeong had so much potential, yet their dynamic never fully blossoms because the story prioritizes unnecessary external conflicts.
And that’s another problem:
the series leans too much into crime-family-company subplots, which are executed in a somewhat messy way. The ex and his family storyline, in particular, feels like filler—loud, disruptive, and not contributing meaningfully to the characters’ growth. With such a strong cast lineup, these plotlines end up wasting screen time that could’ve been spent developing relationships we actually care about.
Overall, the drama has warmth, charm, and genuinely lovable performances—but the writing and direction don’t live up to the potential. With better focus and cleaner narrative choices, this could’ve been a standout romcom. Instead, it’s a pleasant watch that left me wishing it had made bolder, smarter decisions.

A journey through time made with Art
I know it's premature to praise a series with only two episodes, but I couldn't help myself; it would be unfair of me not to. The series stands out for its meticulous recreation of various eras: the sets are visually stunning, the costumes are impeccable, the cinematography is beautiful and the OST accurately reinforces the romantic mood that surrounds the narrative. The solid and convincing performances bring to life characters who really seem to belong to that time, and the production delivers not just a period romance but also a light comedy with perfect timing.
Asongkhai impresses not only with its beauty but also with the sensitivity with which the story is told.
I suspect we are being presented with a true masterpiece.

A revenge drama with a slight dash of older woman-younger man dynamic
I love I Just Want You - a jiejie romance drama starring Lin Zi Xuan and Wu Tian Hao. So yesterday when my reddit friend told me about their second collab drama, I was stoked. I watched it last night and enjoyed it despite being disappointed in some areas. What I liked:
1. Dynamics - I liked that FL hired ML to be part of her revenge against her scumbag husband. The relationship between FL and ML grew as time progressed. They developed feelings for each other and yes, there were some kisses.
2. ML character - I liked that he was not a follower. He also gave smart ideas in order to ensure the success of their revenge plans.
3. FL character - Smart, tactical & resourceful. Her revenge plan was elaborate.
4. Acting - Superb performances by Lin Zi Xuan and Wu Tian Hao.
5. Styling - Beautiful clothes worn by the cast. I liked ML's outfit when he and SFL shopped for handbags. There was an androgynous look with Wu Tian Hao wearing that particular belt.
6. Gym - This scene was exciting!
7. Supporting characters - I liked FL and ML's friends and acquaintances who helped with the execution of their revenge plans.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - FL's husband & his mistress were evil scammers. She was a gold digger too - she had scammed a few men before.
2. Ending - I had a feeling that it was going to be a bitter one. The ending shouldn't be a surprise considering ML's health status which was known by FL at the start of the drama.
Favourite scene
When FL and ML discussed the step-by-step revenge plan

FL proving her strength & worth to her biological family
I came across this drama poster when I was in the mood for physically strong FL. Good thing this drama was available on iQIYI paid subscription so I watched this drama there. I liked this drama even though there is no romance. What I liked:
1. FL characterisation - I liked how she was written. Despite being born a female, she excelled in martial arts training & physical strength.
2. Action - The action sequences were a delight. Yao Yu Chen performed those fight scenes really well.
3. Family - It is the core theme of this drama.
4. Supporting characters - I liked FL's mother and brother.
5. Acting - Yao Yu Chen was superb in this role.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - FL's grandfather was a horrible man for his bias and cruel treatment towards his granddaughter. I also disliked the rival school of martial arts. The master and his goons were disrespectful.
2. Makeup - The moustache on the antagonist was funny looking.
3. The first meet - The first meeting between FL, her biological family and the rivals was too long. Well at one point the quarrel between the rival and FL/her family was tiresome.
Favourite scene
When FL fought the baddies that attacked her family's dojo

Enjoyable drama about FL's transmigration to 1980s world
I watched this drama as part of my assignment to produce a reddit post on my favourite Sun Qian Xun's dramas. Wang Chao Yang was unfamiliar to me so I was curious to see the chemistry. I enjoyed this drama. What I liked:
1. FL characterisation - She was bold than average girl in the 1980s because of her modern world experiences. I liked her feistiness. Her ability as a translator was cool.
2. ML characterisation - He was Mr Nice Guy. Smitten by FL from the first sight of her.
3. Romance - Sweet romance with good kisses and intimate scenes.
4. Styling - I loved her outfits especially the pink & green top & skirt combo.
5. Supporting characters - ML's subordinate was funny. Gu Sen was nice.
6. Ending - That final moment was cheeky!
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - Jiang Tang was malicious. She stole FL's boyfriend then when things didn't work out, she turned her sights to ML. FL's uncle and aunt were horrible too. Zhang Zi Jie was another terrible character but he redeemed himself.
2. Ignorance - It was silly for FL & ML to brush off a tip off when she was heavily pregnant.
Favourite scene
When FL was drunk & ML came to pick her up

what r these rating bruh?
the drama is actually so good. if you’re craving something healing and soft, this one’s worth it. the acting was really pretty, and honestly… the second lead couple stole my whole heart. they were adorable for no reason — like why didn’t they at least get one kiss or a hug?? low-key praying they reunite in another drama.as a Jung So-min × Woo-shik fan, yeah… they ate. their chemistry felt warm and cute, even though So-min’s character felt a bit strange in the beginning.
and idk why K-dramas nowadays are only 12 eps?? like let me breathe bro 😭
but overall, Would You Marry Me? is a sweet watch. don’t trust the negative reviews too much — just go for it.

Must-Watch Gem
Moon River” kicks off with a charming blend of romance, fantasy and period-drama elements: the soul-swap premise between a crown prince and a merchant sets up fresh narrative possibilities.he chemistry between the leads, Kang Tae‑oh and Kim Se‑jeong, is widely praised and the early episodes manage to balance humour and emotional underpinning quite well.
On the flip side: some reviewers feel the pacing is a bit slow in setting up the core body-swap premise and court intrigue—and that the tone sometimes veers into broad pantomime.
But overall: if you’re drawn to romantic-fantasy sageuk (period dramas) with a comedic edge, this show is looking promising and well worth dipping into while it’s still airing.
