Almost interesting
Let's start with things that I liked:1. The props and special effects
2. The second couple - May and Jiu. Their story was quite simple, but cute nevertheless. Or maybe I'm just biased because the Jiu actress was extemely attractive to me.
3. The fact that they gave Tul's character a dilemma to deal with and showed her fighting temptation, not just being a picture perfect person and cop throughout all 10 episodes, as that would have made her way too one-dimensional.
4. Original storyline in the genre of GL
Now the not-so-good aspects:
1. Plotholes. Many plotholes
2. The lazy writing when it came to police looking for evidence. I understand that it's just a show, but come on. The fact that a tennis player killed someone and left a bloody tennis racket behind as evidence is funny to say the least.
3. Ridiculous phrases that police officers would never actually say, like: "I can't believe he's so good looking and a criminal"
4. Stuff randomly being forgotten or left behind, for example Big Tech dying purely because Tul didn't shoot her brother in time and just stood there crying, yet was never held accountable. I understand that it may be hard for her, but that's still not how the world works, is it..
5. I haaaaate when violence against women is used for shock value and as plot device. But alright, let's say the world is cruel and not every story has to be rainbows and butterflies. The amount of screentime Tin got just to ramble about his big boy struggles and express misogynistic beliefs is infuriating. After all that I couldn't care less whose brother or son he was, so the "emotional" sibling confrontations did nothing for me.
6. Lack of chemistry between the main leads. Doesn't matter how gorgeous they are, something is a little off. Also I did a lot of skipping throughout ep 10, the show creators slightly overestimated how interesting it would be to just listen them yap about everything that happened.
Wouldn't call this GL bad as there are some very unique aspects to it and if someone told me they loved this show, I wouldn't struggle to understand why. Just pointing out some flaws that stuck out to me personally.

Hidden identity kept too long but sexy chemistry made up for drama flaws
I like Hou Cheng Yue & Zhang Ji Jun's acting and know that they have collaborated before. I was excited for this drama especially after seeing positive comments on r/CShortDramas. I enjoyed this drama. What I liked:
1. Romance - Wow, that blindfold scene was sexy. Desire & lust were evident in both characters. I liked the dynamics between FL & ML with ML being slightly submissive to FL.
2. FL characterisation - She was smart & physically strong. I loved that she never wavered from bullies.
3. ML characterisation - I liked his puppy energy. The running around was funny. He had his serious moments, which I enjoyed as well.
4. Styling - I liked FL's outfits. Also the contrast between FL & ML.
5. Supporting characters - I liked the middleman.
6. Duration - Drama running time is 2 hours 7 minutes - I liked it!
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - ML's stepmother was evil. Her son was horrible. Can't blamed solely on him because he had an enabler.
2. Hidden identity - Only unveiled at 75% mark of the drama. I wish ML had come clean earlier when confronted by FL.
Favourite scene
When ML picked up FL from a line-up of blindfolded men

Relaxing that melts the heart ❤️
*Love Design* is one of those rare GL series that slips quietly into your heart and refuses to leave. From the very first episode, it wraps you in a soft, calming atmosphere—gentle background sounds, warm lighting, and an emotional softness that feels like a warm blanket on a cold day. Even though the story begins with chaos and playful conflict, not a single moment feels rushed or noisy. Every episode carries a peaceful rhythm, comforting and steady, as if the show itself is telling you to breathe. The heart of the series lies in its characters. The stubborn, spoiled kid with her fiery attitude and the mature, composed woman who gradually loses her guard—it’s a dynamic that feels magical, believable, and deeply touching. Their chemistry is effortless, almost fated, and watching their walls slowly break is one of the most beautiful parts of the show. Their love emerges not from sudden intensity but from growth, understanding, and the soft magic of everyday moments.
The sibling bonds in the story are another highlight—so warm, so protective, so full of teasing and love that it’s impossible not to feel a little jealous. They add depth and humor, making the world feel lived-in and real.
But beyond romance and family, *Love Design* teaches something powerful: **stay right even when others take the wrong path, be honest even when dishonesty could bring success.** It’s a story about choosing goodness even when it’s not easy. That message lingers long after the screen goes dark.
Even now, when you close your eyes, you can still see them—the chaos that turned into care, the bickering that softened into love, the miracle that made them fall for each other. *Love Design* isn’t just enjoyable—it’s unforgettable.

Bad start
A 28-year-old man who has never kissed anyone. If the reason is anything other than not accepting his own homosexuality or a past trauma, it’s hard to believe. It really feels like a not-very-realistic series. As for the story itself, the idea is good: three men in love with the same person. The problem is that this highly desired main character is wanted for strange reasons: he’s immature, inconsistent, and seems to have no passion other than drinking, even though he can’t handle alcohol at all. He constantly gets himself into unlikely situations, easily avoidable. We have no idea what they see in him.
The episode 5 trailer looks like it might finally move the plot forward a bit, so I’m staying for now. Let’s hope it gets better.

The best Enemies-to-lovers ever
I put this drama on a back burner for way too long. I started watching the first episode, decided it was nothing for me, watched two other dramas and came back to it. And boy am I glad I did!The reason I was hesitant at first was Chen Zhe Yuan. Up until Fated Hearts I had only seen him in cuty-pie roles or the charming sweetheart. I could not see past his lanky frame while he had to portray this beast of a man. But he managed to captivate me anyway.
We get into the story by following him and his Feng Battalion as they besiege a city currently in Jinxiu territory, wanting to take it back for Susha, their homeland. They are desperate to win the fight but Suige takes an arrow to the chest by the Red-Clad female general of Jinxiu and the battalion has to pull back in order to save his life.
When this general eventually ends up almost dead herself, Suige and her meet. They become dependant on one another due to circumstances. Someone wants the both of them dead, but who? This is where their uneasy alliance begins. They do not trust each other and spend their time trying to threaten the other but when they get closer to the answers they need they find themselves protecting the other.
It's the best way an enemy-to-lover story has been told, in my opinion. In the beginning they really do torture the other with no remorse. Eventhough Yixiao doesn't remember most of her life, she knows Suige isn't to be trusted. But he helps her through the worst of her nightmares and manages to get most of her memories back. They gradually go from hurting one another to protecting each other.
Another reason I love this drama so much is because it gave such a refreshing look on palace politics when it comes to becoming emperor. Usually the prince brothers are spiteful to each other, wanting to kill the other at an attempt to become crown prince. But these brothers were actually brotherly. They cared for each other and never wanted to harm the other. It was a very different take on becoming crown prince than I had seen before. Both princes didn't care what happened to the throne. It made the manipulation around Chengyang that much more painful. I really felt for him when he discovered what his family had done without even asking what he wanted.
The only thing I didn't really like about the drama was the split palace drama. We had Susha and Jinxiu to deal with. Feng Suige was fighting for his life in Susha. Meanwhile we were following the fight between Xia Jingshi and his tyrant brother Xia Jingyan. I understood why it was part of the story but it made the ending a little wonky. Things in Susha were calming down but we had to watch Suige go to Jinxiu to deal with matters there and it felt a little out of place.
Positives:
- The design of the costumes was beyond amazing. I really loved them.
- The OST is really good.
- The enemies-to-lovers made me weak in the knees with how perfect they've done it.
- Red flag villain remains red flag. I hated Xia Jingshi to the core. There was no redemption for him and, no matter how harsh it may sound, I was glad for it.
- The character growth for Xingyan was something I did not see coming. She annoyed me in the beginning to the point that I did not care for her scenes at all, but the way she manipulated the Jinxiu's court and managed to change the emperor was well done.
- I loved how they brought back certain important moments but in a different way. Like history repeating itself but mirrored. It's a nice touch.
- THAT PLOTTWIST WITH THE EMPEROR!! I am still shook about that. Did not see that coming at all!
- The brotherhood of the Feng Battalion and the loyalty towards Suige when everyone else in his life had either betrayed him or tried to kill him made me emotional. It was beautiful to watch.
Negatives:
- The amnesia trope..... It's been overused. I hate it. And no.. I'm not talking about Yixiao's memory loss at the beginning.
- The amount of times death came knocking at someone's door but they managed to save the person anyway was ridiculous.
I really do recommend watching this drama. It's one of the best 2025 has to offer with great storytelling and lots of cool swordfights and battles.

Refreshing Plot and Great Leads Undercut by Weak Writing
I’ve watched a few of Oxin’s BLs and noticed they tend to rely heavily on double entendres and innuendos. This approach often cheapens the overall tone of their productions. It feels like they’re trying too hard to add humor or spice, but it ends up distracting from the story instead. I think they should tone that down and focus more on solid storytelling. That said, there were still some things I liked about this series. The plot feels refreshing and different from what we usually see in BL dramas. It centers on contestants in a male pageant. Although there were too many characters, the narrative ended up focusing more on Gin and Jarret rather than Jack and Tomas, contrary to the plot description. Jarret, one of the contestants, was hired by Gin’s mother to look after Gin and help him navigate the competition. Over the course of their time together, what began as an arrangement gradually deepened into a genuine connection.
The chemistry between the leads was definitely the highlight of this series. Gin and Jarret shared a natural connection, every time they shared a scene, the energy between them felt effortless and real, it’s the kind of chemistry that can carry an entire series. I especially loved their dance performance in episode 10 and the kiss that followed.
I wasn’t particularly interested in the other couple or trio, the side characters, or the frequent near-naked scenes scattered throughout -- ended up skipping them. Most of the time, I just found myself waiting for Gin and Jarret to appear on screen again.
The OST is great and enhances the mood of certain scenes. The acting wasn’t terrible, there were moments where the cast showed potential, though performances could be more refined. Unfortunately, the script was quite bad. Some lines felt random or out of place, and there were parts of the dialogue that just didn’t make much sense at all.
This had a lot of potential, but the weak writing and execution held it back. As a whole, I’d rate the series a 5.5, but Gin and Jarret themselves deserve a solid 7 out of 10.

Whispers of Fate: A Masterclass in Visual Grandeur and Emotional Depth (10/10)
"Whispers of Fate" is a breathtaking wuxia drama that transcends the genre, establishing itself as a pinnacle of production quality and performance. Anchored by Luo Yunxi’s mesmerizing portrayal of Tang Lici (A'Li), the series is an absolute triumph that combines high-end fantasy visuals with a deeply complex and moving narrative. The drama’s aesthetic appeal is immediate and stunning. The artistry in the costuming, especially for Tang Lici, is unparalleled. From the contrasting beauty of the black and white wig to the rich colors and intricate details of his elaborate robes, every ensemble is a work of art, enhancing the character's mysterious allure. These visuals, coupled with the truly gorgeous settings and anime-like CGI, elevate every action sequence and magical display, making the world feel expansive and alive.
Yet, the true core of the drama lies in its characters, particularly Tang Lici. Much like Tantai Jin in Till The End of The Moon, Tang Lici is a figure of immense complexity and so many layers. Luo Yunxi’s acting is nothing short of a masterclass. He seamlessly navigates the character's duality: the cunning cultivator, the composed martial artist, and, strikingly, the wild little fox with big, innocent eyes.
His ability to convey profound internal turmoil a storm of pain and doubt beneath a calm exterior is captivating. In scenes of intense emotion, like the raw, childish outbursts, his tear-filled eyes and trembling lips deliver a masterclass in human vulnerability. It truly feels as though Tang Lici was a role specially crafted for him; it's impossible to imagine anyone else inhabiting the character so completely.
The story, penned by the same author as The Lotus Casebook, weaves a compelling and suspenseful narrative focused on themes of love, power, and the high price of choices. While brotherhood and intrigue are central, the subtle, meaningful glances and nuanced expressions between the leads add a delicate, fluttering layer of romance. The supporting cast is equally strong, each member bringing their own flavor without overshadowing the central conflict.
While one might wish for slightly more natural special effects or a tighter edit in certain arcs, these are minor quibbles in the face of such overwhelming quality. "Whispers of Fate" is a drama full of beauty, smart writing, and Luo Yunxi’s truly fantastic acting. It is a must watch for fans of high end fantasy and complex character studies.

Pretty Plates; Plot on a Diet
Aesthetically pleasing visuals and good looking leads minus plot and character development gives us Bon Appetite, Your Majesty. If I had adjusted my expectation going into it, I might not have felt let down. Due to all the hype and buzz the show created on the internet, my expectations were way up there. The show did not deliver.
There is no plot to begin with. Because of that, there is no development for any character. Every character is a two dimensional version of themselves. It makes for rather a bland and spiceless (pun intended) rom-com. Rom part of the rom-com is missing, and the com part is okayish.
The visuals are aesthetically pleasing. Cooking and dishing scenes are fun to watch. Plus, we get a good looking pair as leads. They also play the parts assigned to them pretty alright, just not enough to make for a memorable show. Again, with practically no story to begin with, they have no way of showing much acting skills. Yoon ah has been doing similar roles for ever. So she effortlessly strolls through it. Lee Chae Min may have potential. He does his part well too, but I did not find anything extraordinary there. I think he may get better with time as he gains more experience. There was a lot of hype about their “sizzling” chemistry. I found it underwhelming. For me, it was like watching two good looking people in a frame. There was no particular spark. So when their inevitable kiss happened, it was no big deal for me. Meh..Kang Han na plays the same pretty, petty, plotting antagonist. No big challenge for her.
I loved Yoon Seo ah’s Gil Geum. She made me lol with her twitchy nose and unique bulldog like abilities. Innocent, faithful and loyal Gil Geum was like a breath of fresh air.
The music is alright. Costume and production are what you can expect from a Netflix show.
It’s not a bad show if your expectations are adjusted. Mine were not. So it turned out to be an underwhelming watch for me.

Rich, atmospheric and utterly entrancing, Blood River is all those things and more.. It’s a fantastic concept that kept me enthralled till the last episode.. Blood River is an adventure in all the best ways.. The characters are interesting, memorable and have quirks and distinct personalities that make them feel vividly alive.. For me, this drama shines.. It’s a world filled with assassins and clans whose loyalties are written in water, where every character seems to whisper an unfinished feud.. It’s a place where righteousness is fragile, trust is a rare currency and the river runs dark with history and betrayal.. The action begins right from the first scene and never really lets up.. There’s no onerous worldbuilding, no tedious introductions, Blood River gets to the good part immediately..Blood River has beautiful visuals and some breathtaking sequences, along with masterfully crafted fight sequences.. All wrapped in that dark, moody vibe, it was pure bliss.. And in that same vein, this drama introduces a whole lineup of compelling side characters.. While the main characters are good, the side characters are all really interesting too.. None of them are particularly well developed, but there are intriguing dynamics at play..
No idea why Peng Xiao Ran is listed as second lead or even a main lead.. Her only role seems to be lovesick for a character we are barely invested in.. Honestly, she wouldn’t be missed if she wasn’t in the drama.. She is completely underused and her story arc feels disconnected from the main plot.. The supporting cast had far better storylines to be honest.. There’s nothing else to her outside of being the girl who desperately looks for love, she has no real personality, no aspirations and nothing beyond the basic 'love me, love me, look at me' behavior..
Chang Hua Sen was really good here.. I actually felt he was even better than Gong Jun in terms of screen presence and performance.. Gong Jun’s facial expressions looked odd at times.. Even in the final reunion scene, he looked like he had eaten something bad and was wondering why the camera was still rolling..
If I had to choose a favorite character apart from the two male leads, it would be Bai He Huai.. I loved her mannerisms and her costumes were really beautiful..
Now, the world building here is rich, detailed enough and well thought out.. The plot stays consistent and true to itself.. The pacing fluctuates a bit in the last 18 or so episodes but mostly stays fast paced thanks to the huge number of fight sequences.. And that last fight was really something.. I liked that they didn’t show the main leads as overpowered, we actually got a long, hard fought battle where they had to go all out to take down their foe..
Overall, Blood River has the full spectrum of feelings.. From good to bad, joy to frustration, excitement to depression.. It puts everything together in a well balanced plot with a weave of storytelling that pulls you as far away from reality as you can possibly get.. Blood River might not have been perfect and it definitely stuck to some of the mid cliches I expected but I was pleasantly surprised by how much this story kept me interested.. Even with such a large number of characters, it managed to make me care about their lives and the outcomes of their struggles.. Well, except PXR I guess..
Then why did I rate it only 8.5?? Because the last few minutes of the drama disappointed me.. I watched 38 episodes of their struggle to reach the other shore only for the result of all that hard work to show up as a subtitle.. Like you couldn’t give us a 10 minute sequence?? And what was that whole happy ending after 12 years thing?? Just stupid.. There was absolutely no need for it.. If you are going to give us a last minute reunion, why bother separating them at all?? Was that separation even necessary?? I honestly don’t understand this obsession with time jumps for happy endings..
Well, them getting a bittersweet kind of hope instead of a dramatic ending fits the wuxia tradition, since it rarely gives perfect happy endings.. I guess it works as the completion of Su Mu Yu’s journey, with Bai He Huai returning as the light in his life and it gives an ending that isn’t fully happy or tragic, just human..

INCREDIBLE and made to queers by queers!
It's so freaking funny, the cast is absolutely on point, the perfect cast, and the acting is extremely on point. They all shone so much, it's brilliant. I'm glad that Neo is back to being the funniest mf in GMM. Fluke SLAYED and also Lego and Yatch, who did a very good job. INGKY YOU'RE THE PRETTIEST MY BABYGIRL.
But what amazes me is how the show is deeply queer. Jokes that only the gayest people in the world could ever think. Each episode was insane and SO FUN. I also love how it's deeply centered in queer identities, but without putting us as a community in a suffering place. OFC we have our battles, but it's so good to see a show celebrating queer identities, and also displaying queer identities in Thailand, the country of trans women.
It is made by queers, to queers, to celebrate being queer. I can't believe that such an amazing thing came from GMM.
I hope that Fluke (especially him, my baby), Lego (as a LYKNYOU, I'm biased), Yatch (he was a surprise to me, since it's the first series with him that I watched, I was amazed. He's so funny), and also Neo, get very booked in GMM 2026. Don't waste their talent, please!

The GL Series You Need to Watch ASAP
This GL series honestly surprised me in the best way. I’ve watched a lot of GL shows, but this one really stood out. The chemistry feels so natural, the storyline is warm and emotional, and it actually gave me real butterflies. It’s the kind of series you finish and immediately want to rewatch. I truly hope P’Mind and Aokbab get another project together because their pairing is unforgettableWas this review helpful to you?
Wonderful
Exceptional, really loved this, Acting, special effects and story were wonderful, this would have been a high 9.5 for Me if it hadn't of felt like I was only half way through the first season when it finished. It felt like Squid Games season 2, a rushed finale to make way for a second season. Still this is well worth the watch, I thought the sword play and ambience was exceptional and cannot wait for the second season. I suppose we'll have to wait for the viewer numbers before We get a second season. but on the strength of what I have just watched, this could well get three or four seasons if the performances stay this strong. Well done to all involved. Was this review helpful to you?
Good have been something
The synops got me exited, but it's actually so bad. The acting is so bad, which is a shame though. The ML was not yakuza enough, al he did was something with his brows when mad but looked more confused than mad. The FL was too soft and gullible, which annoyed me.I would rather see the ML more tough and the FL more confident during the process. And the acting of the shooter, he acted more like a creepy clown than a yakuza maniac. I laughed at some point as it was so bad. It could've be something. Was this review helpful to you?

Love Rain is one of those dramas that stays with you long after you’ve watched it. I first saw it when it was released in 2012, and I still think about it whenever the topic of K-dramas comes up. It left a huge impression on me—even to the point that I stayed up all night to finish it.The drama delivers big emotions, and I absolutely adored the cast. Both generations—the older storyline and the modern one—were equally captivating, which surprised me at the time. Even though I was young and had no real connection to the “old” era, I was completely hooked by both stories.
It’s a beautifully nostalgic drama, full of heartfelt moments and memorable performances—definitely one of the best I’ve ever watched. And don't get me started on the music!
